We open up to a shot of the live audience before zooming in on a familiar face inside of the ring, Redemption Wrestling Hall of Famer LC Jackson. The crowd cheers for him and he mouths "thank you" to them before bringing the mic to his mouth.

Jackson: Thank you all. Thank you.

More cheers.

Jackson: I am out here on behalf of Devlin Scott. As some of you heard on Social Media, West Coast Genesis has granted Emma Dylan her release as General Manager. As Mr. Scott looks for a more permanent resident for the position, he asked me to stop in tonight for a trial-by-fire sort of run. And who knows, maybe I will be back?

More cheers for the Hall of Famer.

Jackson: Thank you all. As many of you know, WrestleForce is live in less than a month; June 4th. The night before, we will hose an episode of Hype! Live on the 3rd. On that very show, we will have our own little match to send one lucky WCG talent to WrestleForce to take part in the Rags To Riches: III match. As one to have called the first two, this is a HUGE opportunity. Who will it happen to? Who knows? But there will be more to come tonight. Enjoy the show everybody!

We see a video package for WrestleForce play.

In the parking lot of the Bren Events Center, a black Maserati Levante pulls up, idling for a second before the engine cuts off. The driver’s side door opens up first, and Donovan Basch steps out, quickly making his way to the passenger’s side. The door is already open, but before Danni LeBlanc can step out, Donovan is there, waiting with his hand extended to help her out of the vehicle.

Danni: Thank you, Spidey...

He smiles at her as the pair move to the rear to unload their gear. As the liftgate rises, WCG’s resident interviewer Mia Bala approaches the pair.

Mia: Well, I certainly didn’t expect to see you two arriving together...

Danni: Why wouldn’t we? I’ve only been staying at his place for the last week...

Donovan: Even if she hadn’t, I would’ve made the extra trip to go get her.

Mia: Aren’t YOU the gentleman...

Donovan: She deserves it.

Danni: Oh...

Danni blushes as Donovan pulls their bags out of the car and shuts the liftgate. Danni immediately goes to grab her bags.

Donovan: You got it?

Danni: Of course... I can carry my own bags, Donny.

She laughs as Donovan smirks.

Donovan: Fair enough.

Mia: Anyway, after several group matches, you each find yourselves in your first one-on-one matches since you signed with WCG. How do you think you’ll do tonight?

Danni is the first to speak up, a confident smile on her face.

Danni: Are you kidding me? I’m looking forward to watching my man pour that meathead, Kristian Bane a nice tall glass of Shut the Fuck Up...

Donovan: Well, I plan on doing a lot more than that tonight, Danni.

Mia: Indeed. Danni, your match is earlier on the card than Donovan’s. Are you looking forward to your match as well?

Danni: Oh, you better believe I am! I finally get to show what I can REALLY do inside the ring, and Trevor Fowler is going to be the unfortunate attack dummy that gets to serve as a demonstration to the rest of the roster.

Donovan: Danni and I came here looking for a fight, and one way or another, that’s what our respective opponents are going to be in for. Whether or not they’re going to walk out on their own power after the fact, that remains to be seen. But rest assured; we’re not going to make it easy for them.

Mia: Does this mean that somewhere down the line, you two will be forming a tag team and throwing your names into that division?

Donovan and Danni look at each other, frown, then shake their heads.

Danni: While we’re certainly not opposed to the occasional tag team effort, we both want to establish ourselves as singles competitors first. That way, we won’t be put into the box of being labeled as little more than “tag team wrestlers” when we clearly have more to offer this sport than that.

Donovan: We’ve seen it happen too many times before. When tag teams dare to venture out of the tag team division, no one takes them seriously as singles competitors. We’re avoiding that pitfall by focusing on our individual careers first.

Mia: And in the event that your singles careers send you two on a collision course with each other?

Danni: It’s the nature of the beast that is professional wrestling.

Donovan: We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Danni: First thing’s first, though... we have to get through tonight’s matches. Now, if you’ll excuse us....

Mia: Right. Good luck tonight, you two....

Donovan and Danni walk past her, with Danni waving a hand as they make their way into the building.

Opening Match

Rachel Redding vs Brandy Cognac

“Cheers (Drink to That)" by Rihanna starts to play, as Brandy walks out. She walks down the ramp drinking out of her flask and playing up to the crowd. The fans seem to cheer her as she steps up onto the ring apron.

Mckenzie: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your opening match of the night. First to the ring hailing from Huston, Texas…. Brandy Conganc!

Before Cognac can climb into the ring Redding comes sprinting down the ramp to attack Cognac from behind. She jumps up to the apron throwing forearms and elbows into the back of Cognac's neck knocking her back down to the concrete. The fans boo as Redding just absorbs the atmosphere before stepping down to the floor.

Phoenix: I had thought Redding was working on her inner peace. People with inner peace don’t attack their opponents from behind like that!

Cognac is quick to get back up but eats a knee before Redding grabs her in a headlock and pulls her around the side of the ring. Cognac fights to try and escape the lock but Redding gains momentum running forward with a bulldog driving Cognac face first into the concrete. Referee Corey Carter is out the ring now in Redding’s face trying to tell her to get in the ring to start the match. She ignores him embracing the hate from the front row fans.

Phoenix: This thing doesn’t start until both women are in the ring. But it looks like Redding wants to send a message that she's not to be messed with.

Redding pushes past the ref to lift the prone Cognac all the way to her feet and whip her into the barricade. As Cognac rests there Redding pulls knuckle dusters out of one of her boots. The crowd erupts but Carter gets in the way quickly grabbing and fighting to snatch the knuckle dusters off of her. Redding gives in instead grabbing Cognac by the face and throwing her into the side of the arpon. With her back on the floor Redding stomps away at Cognac before the ref again gets in the way pushing Redding away.

Phoenix: I think she gonna lose it at him any minute if he keeps getting in her way.

Frustrated with the official enforcing the rules Redding finally rolls in the ring. She leans on the ropes watching Cognac use the ref to get herself back up to her feet. She slides in the ring watching Redding the whole time.

DING DING DING

Phoenix: Here we go, but Brandy looks beaten up! Not sure how long this one will last.

Cognac rolls into the corner and gets back up to her feet using the turnbuckles. Immediately Redding runs across the ring with a step up enziguri kicking Cognac square in the face. Both women hit the canvas with Redding covering.

Cognac kicks out. Redding stands up frustrated she hasn’t done enough. She watchs her prey slowly rise before running in with a clothesline, but cognac ducks under and grabs Reddings neck using her own momentum to bring her down in a neckbreaker. The fans erupt in cheers and chants for the reversal.

Phoenix: The fans just exploded after that!

Cognac sits up trying to shake away the earlier beat down. Redding rolls out the ring, but Cognac wastes no time bouncing off the ropes across the ring to nail a baseball slide knocking Redding into the guardrail. Cognac throws a stiff fist into Redding’s gut before throwing her back in the ring. Following her quickly she whips Redding into the ropes catching her with a hip toss, followed by a leg drop into a pin.

Redding easily kicks out.

Phoenix: Nowhere near enough to get the three count yet.

Both women rise to there feet and stand face to face in the ring. Redding throws a forearm but is meet with one right back. As they trade blows the fans cheer and boo. Redding gets the best of it with a knee to Cognac’s mid section. She hooks her head again and makes her struggle before Cognac finds the power to grab Redding’s leg and lift her back in fisherman’s style suplex, holding the leg for a pin.

KICKOUT!

Pheonix: Out of shock Cognac almost gets the cover.

Again both women start to get up, but this time they roll to either end of the ring using the ropes to climb up. Cognac charges across the ring to try clothesline Redding over the top rope but Redding ducks down pulling the top rope down sending Cognac over falling onto the apron. She bounces up but is slapped hard across the face by Redding before she jumps up drop kicking Cognac in the chest knocking her back down to the concrete again.

Phoenix: These two just can’t keep it in the ring!

Redding slides out and rains elbows and knees into the side of Cognac who is trying to get up. She grabs Cognac by the back of the neck and throws her into the ring post, Cognac doesn’t defend herself in time horribly going face first into the post snapping her head back as she crumbles to the floor. She looks knocked out as Redding struggles to lift her and roll her back in the ring.

Phoenix: I'm not sure the ref is gonna let this carry on much longer. This is such a vicious side of Redding.

Redding sees Cognac down on the mat as she heads towards the corner. She climbs up to the top and looks down.

Phoenix: Does Cognac even know where she is right now!

Redding sees Brandy get up to her see and turn towards Rachel. As soon as she sees Rachel, Redding is able to connect with Eye of the Storm (second rope jumping flip neckbreaker) as Redding covers her for the pin.

Phoenix: And that is it!

Rachel climbs up to her feet as the ref holds her hand up.

Mackenzie: The winner of the match... Rachel Redding!

The cameras move out of the arena.

We cut backstage to the parking garage where a police car comes screeching in and emergency stops almost crashing into a wall.

Phoenix: Is this… I didn’t think they’d get here?

The Messiahs get out either side of the back of the car. Damien stops at a driver's window and starts talking to Jerry, the very nice policeman, who drove them six hours from San Francisco. Lucifer sees the camera watching them and immediately gravitates towards it.

Lucifer: My friends! What a journey we are on? And tonight we pause to reflect the message of tomorrow right here in Irvine. BUT! Are we alone, Me and my brother are never alone for we walk in the path of the light!

Phoenix: How are these guys not in prison?! What is even talking about?

A police prison bus follows into the parking garage and stops behind the cop car. The door opens letting out the Messiahs’ hostages who are all willingly following Damien down a corridor.

Phoenix: Someone call the police the hostages are right here! In the building!

Lucifer: Tonight we bury Trenton and Keiji in righteousness. They will see the error of their mortal behaviour. Because I fear if thou do not! WE~WILL~RIOT~!!!

Phoenix: There really is something wrong with these guys. I don’t know whether to be scared by them or laugh?

We move back into the arena.

Match 2

Triple Threat Match

KEG vs Scotty Latimer vs Tornado Desencadenado

The guitar riff to “Blow Me Away” cues up on the venue’s speakers. Tornado walks out from behind the curtain and does several “chain-breaker” warm ups. Afterwards he bounds back and forth across the stage; encouraging the fans to cheer louder. Tornado then jogs down the ramp, slapping any offered hands. When he reaches the ring apron he rolls inside, pops to his feet, and does a couple of spins around the center of the ring with his arms outstretched (ala Kurt Angle). Finally, he takes his right fist and thumps the left side of his chest three times.

Mackenzie: From Metairie, Louisiana weighing in at 235 pounds... he is Tornado Desencadenado!

"Personal Jesus" plays and out comes the arrogant Scotty Latimer who slowly walks to the ring forcing the audience and his opponent to wait for Him. He wants the world to enjoy the beauty of Lattimer and takes his time So they can soak it in. Finally he gets to the ring, slowly gets on the apron, enters the ring, and waits for the match to start.

Mackenzie: From Manhattan, New York weighing in at 205 pounds, he is Scotty Latimer!

Pretty Good at Drinking Beer by Billy Currington plays over the PA system as KEG makes his way down the aisle, holding a bottle of beer, and staggering to the ring. Like a magnet, KEG stumbles over to a fan at ringside and takes the fans beer. KEG downs the beer in one gulp, impressing all who witness it, and then KEG also grabs the fan's hot dog. He chows down on the hot dog as he climbs into the ring. He now walks over to the ring announcer, grabs the microphone and emits a loud belch into the microphone as the fans cheer (except for some of the ladies). He climbs up the steel steps, making sure not to spill his beer in his hand, as he ducks under the ropes and enters the ring.

Mackenzie: And from The Brewery weighing in at 190 pounds... he is KEG!

The referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

The match begins as Scotty Latimer immediately drops a charging KEG with a Superkick.

Phoenix: Wow! What a first impression!

Latimer, trying to steal a fast one, drops and covers KEG.

ONE

But Tornado is there to break it up. Tornado grabs Scotty by the head and pulls him up. Latimer pushes him off and connects with an enziguri. Tornado drops to one knee, as Scotty backs up and uses a Roaring Elbow. Tornado ducks under it and tackles Latimer to the mat. He climbs on top of Scotty and pulls back for a series of strikes, but KEG comes out of nowhere with a big boot to the head of Tornado. KEG drops for the cover on Scotty.

ONE

And Latimer kicks out, pushing KEG into the air. He lands on Tornado for another cover.

And Tornado is able to kick out of it.

Phoenix: What a series of pin attempts!

The three men are slowly up to their feet as Scotty charges Tornado, only to get a back body drop. KEG comes out of nowhere and nearly takes Tornado's head off with a huge lariat. KEG heads up to the top of the corner looking for BEER BASH (top rope flying headbutt) but as he jumps off, Tornado rolls out of the way and KEG crashes hard to the mat.

Phoenix: Crash...and... Burn!

Scotty Latimer heads up to his feet. He sees Tornado using the ropes to climb up to his feet. From behind, Scotty clubs him with a big clothesline that sends Tornado up and over the top rope.

Phoenix: And only KEG and Latimer are inside of the ring, great strategy here.

KEG, still down, is grabbed by Latimer. He lives KEG up into the air and hits a brainbuster. Before he can drop down for a pin, Tornado is up behind Scotty and uses a German Suplex bridging to a pin.

And Latimer is able to power out of it. Both men get back up to their feet, and Tornado grabs Latimer shooting him off into the ropes. As he returns, Tornado uses a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker to send Scotty to the mat. Tornado hooks a leg for the pin.

KEG dives out of nowhere to break it up!

Phoenix: This match is just a series of almost pinfalls! What a fast paced match.

The three men slowly move as they are tiring. KEG is up to one knee, Tornado uses the corner to pull himself up. And Scotty uses the ropes to pull himself up. Tornado is up to his feet first, followed by KEG. Tornado uses the ropes to gain momentum and hits "Cyclone Smash" (Running Corkscrew Forearm Smash) on KEG, sending the Druken One to the mat. Tornado makes a cover.

And Scotty Latimer breaks it up with a stomp to the back. Grabbing Tornado by the hair, he drags Tornado up to his feet and sends him over the top rope and to the outside. Turning back towards KEG, Scotty lifts him up onto his shoulders and finishes KEG off with Wing of an Angel (One Winged Angel) as he makes the pin.

Phoenix: Latimer pulled it off!

Scotty raises to his feet as the referee holds his arm into the air.

Mackenzie: The winner of the match... "Simply Ravishing" Scotty Latimer!

We quickly head backstage.

Backstage, a new face is standing and shaking hands with LC Jackson:

Jackson: Mr. Blackwell, I am excited to have you here tonight.

Austen: It's Austen. But please, call me, AB.

LC looks off camera.

Jackson: And who is this lovely lady?

A beautiful blonde steps into the camera.

Austen: This is my girlfriend, Mercedes.

Jackson: Nice to meet you, my dear.

Mercedes smiles and shakes his hand.

Mercedes: Nice to meet you, too.

Jackson: So I got the go ahead to let you know that as of tonight, you are officially a part of the WCG Roster! Congratulations!

Austen turns towards Mercedes and picks her up and spins her. She kicks her legs up.

Mercedes: Congrats, AB! I knew you could do it!

Jackson: Now the hard work comes, son.

Austen: You've got it, Mr. Jackson!

LC hands a pen to Austen as he quickly signs the document and it becomes official.

Jackson: Stick around, I've got first road seats for you and your lady.

He nods and smiles. He kisses Mercedes in his excitement as they walk off, with Austen's arm around her.

Jackson: Ahhh, to be young...

We break for commercial.

Following that last match, the cameras go backstage to find the West Coast Champion Ryan Keys and his friend Ruby Rose in the makeup area. Ruby's eyes are lingering on a nearby television set for a moment, but she turns her attention back to Ryan sitting in one of the chairs with various unfinished paint designs already adorning his body.

Ruby: I gotta run soon, I'm up next.

She takes the sponge in her hand already smattered with paint and dabs it onto his shoulder, waiting for the right people to yell at her to get to where she's supposed to be when it's time.

Ruby: But this is looking totally awesome!

Ryan is busy drawing lines with a fine paint brush with white paint, detailing the design his arm. The lower half of his face, as well as most of his shoulders, chest and half his torso are outlined and slowly getting colored by Ruby in with a nice royal blue color. The look of content is on Ryan's face as he got the late okay to express his art this way.

Ryan: Thanks, it was nice of you to help me out. I promise we'll be done soon, just a bit more paint and I'll be ready to fly.

He finishes the last border detail of the Blue Phoenix design over his body, sharpening out the feathers with a bit of black. He knows that the pain will come off as soon as he starts to wrestle, but this adds a bit more flair to his style. Yet he couldn't pull this off without some help.

Ryan: You're doing great. Honestly, when I asked you to help me paint myself in the makeup room you looked at me kinda worried.

He chuckles a bit before putting the pencil down on the counter and grabbing another sponger to help with coloring in the blue.

Ruby: Honestly, when you asked, this wasn't what I thought you meant.

She can laugh about it now, and she does. However, it's clear that she was expecting something far less appropriate from the request.

Ruby: You are going to look so awesome out there tonight when you beat Julianna.

Ryan nods in response as he makes conversation with Ruby while grabbing his phone and taking a picture to send it to someone. Painting over his chest he knows what type of painting he's going to do next.

Ryan: That's the plan. It's my first title defense here and I want to make a better impression than using a megaphone or skin tight trunks.

He dabs the sponge over his neck, looking at his work through the mirror. If it was up to Ryan they could spend the entire night here creating a work of art, but what they have accomplished so far. Raising his arm he starts to fill in the pain there while turning so Ruby can get his back.

Ryan: First I'll worry about Julianna, and then I'll worry about taking this paint off. You sure you don't want me to draw you something for your match? It could be for good luck.

Ruby is going up against some seriously powerful guys. I'd risk using his once chance at looking cool in his paint job to dive on in and get her if she needs it.

Ryan: Anything you need you know i'm here,and be looking out for you. Like a hawk..er, Phoenix type thing.

Ruby smiles as she dabs more paint onto Ryan's back, filling in all of the spots so that it looks seamless across his broad shoulders.

Ruby: Thanks. I appreciate that. Just having someone to look out for me is enough. Especially since... Cyn's been kind of distant lately.

She takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. Her match opponents are intimidating enough but not being on the same page as her partner makes it even more daunting. Taking another deep breath that she lets out slowly, she sets the sponge back on the make-up counter and wipes her hands of any excess paint.

Ruby: But I'm really glad you traded in the tights and the megaphone for this. I like this a lot better for you.

Laughing softly once he was finished he couldn't believe someone said that, maybe not about the megaphone. Ryan stands up from his chair and looks all round the finished designed with a smile.

Ryan: Well you're the first. Less on me is usually what people want from me, even after I go home.

He says turning around while wiping his hands from the paint. Ruby would be called at any minute, leaving him wishing he could be there for her in her match.

Ryan: I'd hug you but...paint is still wet. Still I want to take a picture with you for helping me get painted. I owe you one big time. More than once.

Grabbing his phone he gets closer to Ruby and holds it up to take a few pictures with his friend. The backstage staff soon called for them to get ready for the show to continue. Looking at the pictures he smiles and pats Ruby on the back.

Ryan: That's our call. Remember, if you need me just yell Keys really loud. That usually means one of two things, either I'm in trouble or someone needs my help.

Ruby: Sounds about right.

Ruby has a laugh at the only two reasons Ryan's name is usually yelled. Though, it does sound about right given Ryan's personality.

Ruby: Thanks for keeping an eye on me. I'm a little worried I'll need someone's eyes on me tonight.

She has another laugh, though there's nothing funny about needing to be looked out for tonight. A distant tag team partner and two monsters of men across the ring from her is anything but funny.

Ruby: I'll see you soon and if I don't get a chance before then. Good luck tonight.

Reaching out to pat him on the shoulder, she stops short of touching the wet paint and settles for feigning a pat with a silly grin before turning to head towards the gorilla position. She comes face to face with WCG's newest acquisition Scotty Latimer's chiseled chest fresh off his debut match. Startled, she looks up into at him as Scotty returns the look back. He arrogantly walks around her giving a good up and down look at her. Finally he stops, nods his head in approval, and walks away. Ruby stares after him with a look of confusion before continuing to the gorilla position.

Match 3

Seventh Circle (Gunnar & Karston) vs Ruby Rose & Cynthia Machado

Mackenzie: The following contest is a tag team match, set for one fall. Introducing first, at a combined weight of five hundred and thirty five pounds, from Duluth, Minnesota, being accompanied to the ring by Aaynet, Karston Daire and Gunnar Wahl... THE SEVENTH CIRCLE!

"Mummy Dust" begins to play as the lights dim and a large spotlight shines down on the stage. Aaynet walks out and stretches both arms wide. Two massive plumes of smoke rise on either side of her and out steps Gunnar Wahl on the left and Karston Daire on the right. The two men let out a primal yell, then stalk their way down to the ring. Gunnar pulls himself up on to the ring apron as Karston heads up the steps. Aaynet slithers into the center of the ring and rises up to her knees as Gunnar and Karston step inside and take their places, to her left and right as all three raise their right fists high in the air, then slam them down on the ring, the lights going out as they hit the mat. The lights slowly come back up as Aaynet has moved out of the ring, leaving the monstrosities to mete out their violence.

Mackenzie: Their opponents, introducing first, weighing in at one hundred and twenty five pounds, she hails from Memphis, Tennessee... CYNTHIA MACHADO!

"Confident" by Demi Lavato begins to play over the arena speakers as the crowd rises to their feet in anticipation. Out from the entrance steps out the one and only, "Sinfully" Cynthia Machado. Cynthia is dressed in her wrestling attire of course as she begins flirting with the men and the women along the entrance way. Machado makes it to the ring as she slides under the bottom rope, crawling all the way to the center of the ring with her assets high in the air for all to see.

Mackenzie: Her partner, she weighs in at one hundred and ten pounds, hailing from Rose, Nebraska... RUBY ROSE!

"Hello" by Karmin pumps through the speakers as Ruby Rose struts her way out, popping her hip and flipping her hair as she swivels her way into a sideways stance at the top of the stage. She greets the fans with a bright, cheery smile and performs a little dip before skipping her way down to the ring. She interrupts her skip long enough to slap a few outstretched hands on her way. Hustling up the ring steps, she ducks into the ring under the middle rope and repeats her stage pose in the center of the ring.

DING DING DING

Gunnar Wahl decides to start things for his team, while Ruby Rose is left to start for her side. Gunnar quickly charges at Ruby, but she side steps him and he crashes in to the corner. Ruby hits a dropkick that staggers him, then a second, a third backs him in to the ropes and she goes to whip him across the ring, but he counters it with ease. Ruby ducks a clothesline as she comes back, hits the ropes, comes flying at him and leaps up with a headscissors. Gunnar stumbles forward in to the ropes but still doesn't go down. Ruby hits the ropes and goes for a bulldog, but Gunnar catches her and turns it in to a sidewalk slam. Gunnar quickly hooks the leg, but he only gets a 1 count. Gunnar pulls Ruby up to her feet, then plants her right back down with a powerslam. Gunnar covers once more, but again only manages a two count. Gunnar pulls Ruby up once moe, whips her across the ropes and goes for a spinebuster as she comes back, but she manages to counter it and hits a big tornado DDT.

Phoenix: Big move there from Ruby Rose. Smart using her speed to attack, as her and her partner don't weigh as much combined, as Karston Daire does on his own.

Ruby crawls over to her corner and tags in Cynthia as Gunnar makes the tag to Karston. Karston quickly charges and connects with a running high knee to Cynthia. Cynthia is stunned and Karston takes advantage with a belly to belly suplex. Karston covers and gets a 1. Karston pulls Cynthia up and connects with an exploder suplex. karston holds on and bridges in to a pin, but Cynthia kicks out at 2. Karston rolls through and pulls Cynthia up, hits a vertical suplex. Karston doesn't go for a cover this time, instead he backs up in to the corner and waits for Cynthia. Cynthia slowly gets to her feet, only to be taken right back down courtesy of a Karston Kick that almost takes her head off. Karston quickly makes the cover

Phoenix: A close one there, and Cynthia Machado does not look herself tonight. If she's not careful, this could be over in a hurry.

Gunnar comes in and takes Ruby Rose out of the ring with a clothesline right over the top rope. Gunnar quickly pulls Cynthia up to her feet and sets up for a spinebuster. Karston hits the ropes, flies past and hits the neckbreaker as Gunnar drives her down, connecting with Purgatorio. Karston quickly makes the cover, looking to end this one early.

Mackenzie: Your winners... THE SEVENTH CIRCLE!

Phoenix: Wow, a pretty quick win for Gunnar and Karston tonight. These two are a well oiled machine, cut off the ring once Cynthis got in and just showed brillaint tag team work.

Ruby comes in to check on Cynthia and Aaynet jumps up on the apron, yelling at Gunnar to grab her. Gunnar shrugs and grabs Ruby by the hair. Aaynet tells him to end her, and he pulls her in to a bearhug. Aaynet tells Karston to go up top so they can hit her with Hammer of The Gods, but he shakes his head no. Aaynet yells at him a bit, but before anything more can happen, Ryan Keys runs down and hits Gunnar in the back with the belt. Gunnar stumbles and releases Ruby. Aaynet quickly yells for them to get out of the ring and Gunnar bails out as Karston does the same. Ryan Keys checks on Ruby to make sure she's okay, then turns and looks up the ramp at the retreating Seventh Circle.

Phoenix: A big save there from the champion, Gunnar has been mentioned as a potential challenger to him, but I think this was more about saving his friend. Still some interesting developments there.

We move backstage.

The cameras cut from the show to backstage, where Jessica Hardy and new West Coast Genesis talent Tornado Desencadenado are talking animatedly to one another. Jess is finishing telling a story of her days on the independent circuit.

Jess: “...And I put in the hold so tightly I tore a ligament in her arm!”

Jess finishes, beaming widely, as though somewhat proud of this achievement.

Tornado: “Well, that’s- effective? I hope the injury didn’t sideline her for too long.”

Jess: “It was inexperience, really. I was pretty… rough around the edges then. Only about a month or so, if I remember correctly. I wouldn’t do that now, I just think it’s funny, things have changed a whole lot since then.”

The young man nods.

Tornado: “Yeah, it took me a while to find my groove. A long while. But here we are now, part of one of the most highly touted developmental systems in the business,”

He gives Jessica a wry grin.

Tornado: “One of us even warrants the cover of the promotion’s trade magazine. Congratulations.”

Jess: “I know, right? I mean, when I started, developmental meant inferior, it was really that simple. Now, we’re able to establish ourselves as we go. I knew this place was going to be special some day, but I didn’t think we’d get here so quickly! That cover though… That was something else, I was so shocked when they called me in for the shoot! Thank you though, I hope it does us West Coast wrestlers some good.”

Tornado: “Every bit of publicity helps, since WCG is only broadcast once a month, it’s good to have other things out there to keep us in the public eye.

There’s a brief pause. When Descencadenado speaks again, he’s moved the topic in another direction.

Tornado: So, changing the subject a little; since you’ve been here since the beginning; got any tips for the rookie here?”

TD points to himself with two fingers on both hands.

Jess: “Tips? Hmm…”

Jess ponders this earnestly for a brief moment before shrugging.

Jess: “Just make sure you’re always putting in your best effort, and take extra care to learn from mistakes. We’re all working in developmental, we can’t expect to be the best version of ourselves in the ring from day one. I think that’s all I have, I’m not really one to give sage advice. We’ve got to really work to stand out, especially with the quality of the other people around here.”

Tornado nods his head in agreement.

Tornado: “The roster is stacked. They seem cool, too. The ones I’ve met so far at least. Despite being in a very competitive environment, people have come across to me as pretty mellow.”

Jess: “I can’t say you’re wrong there, there aren’t many people on the roster I don’t like. They’re all so friendly! I think I can see you fitting right in here.”

Tornado: “Thanks. I hope you’re right.”

(Off Screen) Rachel: “Oh, look…”

And indeed, from off screen to the right, in walks Rachel Redding, dressed back in casual wear after she competed in the opening match. Her short hair is still damp from her post-match shower, and she’s got a bemused look on her face as she looks Tornado up and down. Jess’ grin widens as she greets her friend.

Rachel: “Jess! You didn’t tell me you found a new...friend.”

The word “friend” seems to have just a hint of disdain behind it. Jess goes to answer, but Rachel cuts her off before she can begin.

Jess: “Oh, hey! I-”

Rachel: “No need; I’ve heard of Tornado...ah...Descendant? Disinfectant? No matter. I’m sure if it’s important, I’ll end up remembering it when the time comes. And I overheard; you want a tip? Don’t make friends with the wrong people.”

She pauses, glancing over at Jess with a smirk, her brain working a hundred miles a minute.

Rachel: “I mean, Jess is a very smart girl, far more intelligent than, say, Keg, or Basch.”

Rachel looks back at Tornado with a smile, as genuine as she can force one...which, given her background is more than enough.

Rachel: “I take it you’re not as...dumb...as those two? Would you agree with that, Jess?”

Rachel questions Jess without even looking at her.

Jess: “Absolutely not. And I’m sure he means well.”

She responds, semi-defensively. Although her defense comes off as rather tepid.

Rachel: “I'm sure he does, too! I just want to make sure nobody’s trying to take away my best friend here in WCG. But you wouldn't do that, would you?”

Rachel doesn't wait for an answer.

Rachel: “Of course not! Jess...if you have a minute?”

She motions for Jess to come with her, even starting to turn and walk away before stopping, waiting for her friend to come along. Jess gets up hesitantly, giving Tornado a sincerely apologetic backwards glance as she follows after Rachel.

Tornado’s expression has slowly changed since the second woman has joined his conversation with Hardy; from friendly to confused to peeved until finally settling on forced politeness.

Tornado: “‘Don’t make friends with the wrong people’. I’ll keep that in mind. It was nice talking to you, Jessica. Good luck with your match tonight. Miss Redding.”

He gives the brunnette a brusque nod before walking off. The camera cuts back to ringside.

Match 4

Danni LeBlanc vs Trevor Fowler

Mackenzie: The following contest is a singles match scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring...

"The Outsiders" by Eric Church begins to play as Trevor Fowler steps out for the crowd to see him! He lets out a big "YEEEEHAWWW" before he whips his cowboy hate into the stands.

The crowd eats him up as he walks down the aisle slapping fives to all the kids he can find. Trevor makes it to the edge of the ring as he leaps up onto the canvas. Fowler wipes his feet before stepping into the ring and giving the crowd a big lasso motion and another "YEEEEHAWWW".

Mackenzie: From Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 225 pounds... he is Trevor Fowler!

"California Love” begins to play as the crowd is bathed in crimson light and the name "Danni" appears on the Tron. Danni LeBlanc emerges on the stage, doing a seductive little turn before making her way down the ramp, zig-zagging between both sides of the aisle to high-five the fans. Once she makes it to the ring, she hops up onto the ring apron before dropping down into the splits and rolling through as she slides under the bottom rope. She then stands in her corner and gets in some last-minute stretches before her match begins.

Mackenzie: And his opponent, from El Segundo, California... she is Danni LeBlanc!

Phoenix: Two very different competitors here tonight, but the fans clearly love them both, just listen to those cheers!

The two shake hands before the bell rings.

DING DING DING

They lock up initially. Quickly realizing that Trevor's distinct size advantage puts him ahead in the lockup, Danni quickly fires off a kick to his knee, breaking his grip.

Phoenix: Some very quick thinking by Danni to put her in control.

Danni throws herself against the ropes and rebounds as she flies towards Trevor, rocking him with a dropkick, which pushes him to the ropes. Danni clears him with a clothesline, making him spill out to ringside before taking a moment to pose in the middle of the ring to cheers.

Phoenix: Showmanship's all well and good, but it looks like Trevor's stirring...

Fowler is indeed stirring on the outside, just getting to his feet as Danni prepares to launch herself with a tope suicida. Trevor is just alert enough to catch Danni however, before tossing her to the hard surface outside of the ring with a vertical suplex.

Phoenix: What a dive from Danni! Didn't seem to pay off here though, Trevor composed himself just in time.

"The Southern Gentleman" methodically rolls Danni back in the ring, and as Danni gradually recovers onto her knees, Trevor plants her with a DDT and hooks the leg for a cover.

Danni kicks out.

Phoenix: Down, but far from out for LeBlanc here!

Fowler lifts Danni to her feet, which proves to be a mistake, as LeBlanc rallies with an enzuigiri, rocking Trevor and stunning him hard. Danni takes advantage of this opening as she climbs the turnbuckle and follows up with a flying headscissors, tosing her opponent to the mat and making a cover.

Phoenix: Fowler's attempt at keeping control may have cost him...

Trevor powers out, flinging himself into a sitting position. Danni comes back at him with a stiff shining wizard, the fleshy sound of her knee connecting with his face sounds out clearly across the arena, and the crowd winces audibly as Danni floats over into the cover.

Phoenix: Just listen to that!

Phoenix: No! Trevor got the shoulder up again!

Danni's clearly frustrated at this point, but she takes a moment to compose herself as Fowler regains his breath, still lying down on the mat. Danni goes for Trevor's legs, locking in the LeBlanc Lock. Fowler struggles against it for a few brief moments before he's able to flip himself over, now trapping Danni's legs in an inverted version of the hold.

Phoenix: LeBlanc's legs are crucial to her attack, she can't afford to stay in that hold for long. Fowler's size and power advantages once again coming into play here.

Fortunately, Danni is just inches from the ropes, and scrambles to reach them. The referee makes the count and Trevor releases at four.

Phoenix: Trevor clearly knows just how important Danni's legs are to her wrestling style, too, he kept her locked in for as long as he possibly could.

Danni shakily gets to her feet as Trevor charges towards her with a big boot, but Danni manages to catch him with a superkick, connecting directly with his head. Both competitors crumple to the mat and the referee starts the count.

Phoenix: Oh my! Trading boots there. They both look like they're out cold, we may well see a double count-out!

Both Danni and Trevor begin to stir, LeBlanc slowly reaching a hand for the ropes to help her to her feet.

Phoenix: I think we're seeing some movement!

Trevor's on his knees, and Danni has pulled herself more-or-less upright. The count stops and the two competitors get to their feet properly. Danni charges at Fowler with a shotgun dropkick, launching him against the turnbuckles as she launches a series of powerful kicks to his midsection. Trevor's winded, but Danni beckons him to get back up, clearly ready to finish things off.

Phoenix: She's calling it up! I think we're about to see one hell of a kick.

Trevor groggily gets to his feet, and is promptly met by the Boot-a-rang (540 Roundhouse) from Danni, the kick connecting directly with the side of his head as he collapses gracelessly to the mat.

Phoenix: Fowler just dropped like a sack of potatoes!

LeBlanc hooks the leg.

Mackenzie: And here is your winner, Danni LeBlanc!

Danni celebrates her hard-fought victory in the ring, blowing kisses to the fans with a grin on her face as we see a previous for the next episode of Hype!

“I’m Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made OF?””by A day to remember faded out as inside of the ring stood none other than the new West Coast champion Ryan Keys, clad in his revealing ring attire, showing off the art he drew on himself in preparation for his match. With a smile and a megaphone instead of a microphone in hand he is ready for tonight..The crowd is cheering loudly for its new champion of West Coast Genesis, and he looks out to the capacity crowd with a smirk and raises the megaphone to his lips to speak.

Ryan: Oh go on! Don’t stop on my account, there’s nothing to see here. I didn’t come out here for the attention and the occasional cat calls, I swear.

The crowd reacts with laughter and jeers, and Ryan can only smile and nod.

Ryan:I know, I’m not buying that either, just look at what I’m wearing. But here I am, tonight, because I wanted to show you guys something I managed to get the past month. Can you all see it? Can the cameraman focus up for a second? Th.. there you go. Perfect! Look at that ladies and gentleman. This is the masterpiece known as the West Coast Championship.

He raises the title off his shoulders to let the crowd see it with him, proudly displaying it.

Ryan: People of WCG and fans alike, I am your new West Coast champion. An original piece of work for all of you to see. Now I didn’t come out here to gloat, but some would say that I am. I just wanted to come out here and thank everyone that supported me in my small journey to get to where I am now, to be what I am. A champion.

Another slowly rising cheer echoes around the arena at his words before he puts the megaphone back up.

Ryan: Let's just say that I created this moment when I…

"Boss's Daughter" by Pop Evil hits and the fans boo as Julianna DiMaria walks through the curtains with a microphone in her hand. The look on her face indicates instant and obvious displeasure.

Julianna: Cut the music...

The song abruptly cuts as Julianna walks down the ramp to continue to speak.

Julianna: Ryan... about time we could see each other face to face, one on one. We didn't quite get to do that at Origins in the ladder match considering we had Trenton Kelvin being involved as well. But, let's not focus too much on him.

Julianna pauses as she walks up the stairs and steps through the ropes. She slowly walks closer to Ryan, before she keeps talking.

Julianna: This is about you and me, after all. Here you are, on top of the world... MY world! A world that I am going to reign upon once tonight is all said and done. I don't care about what you created, I don't care about the journey that you went on to capture that title. I told you before, and I'll tell you again, this time right to your face, to enjoy it while it lasts because let me tell you something Ryan, you only have what? About a good thirty to forty minutes left with that title before I claim what I deserve? Regardless, you want to know how I really feel about you? I feel DISGUSTED by you. Crossroads was supposed to be about ME and MY... pardon the pun... ORIGINS as one of the most prized, young competitors in the sport today and one of the most gifted, decorated, international sensations of her generation!!! But no, that wasn't the case because YOU took that from me. Do you feel good about that, Ryan?

Do you feel good that in order to achieve what YOU wanted, you had to stall and delay the dreams of someone else? I know, we're in a rough business. Very little is guaranteed in this business, you and I both know that. But one of the few things that IS a guarantee in this business is Julianna DiMaria being the West Coast Champion! It may not have happened at Crossroads, I have no excuses or blame to toss around. I don't have time for such theatrical nonsense, but tonight... I take this "small journey" of yours and expose it for what it is and what it always will be... substandard to MY journey, a journey with so many layers it would take me two episodes of Hype to go through every single detail.

Time is ticking, Ryan... you were the better wrestler then, but TONIGHT... I'm flipping the script, like it or not!

Ryan holds his title over his shoulder while flipping and bouncing his megaphone in his hand. Looking over at the crowd with a face that says 'Really?'he waits until Julianna is done talking before pressing the megaphone against his lips at a high volume.

Ryan: Okay, didn't expect you to have a lot to get off your chest, seriously its only a 2 hours show. I would have accepted a simple 'fuck you'or 'that title is mine.' But a monologue is fine. Perfectly understandable since you are having issues with me being a champion. We'll take it up with customer service and get back to you in about 40 to 60 business days.

Adjusting the volume down a little he starts to pace inside the ring, looking like he's trying to think about something to Julianna in the most appropriate way possible.

Ryan: You see Anna, can I call you anna? I'm gonna call you anna. Julianna, do you want to know why I am up here with the title and you're not? Why I got the upper hand in our ladder match? And why I'm winning our match later?.. .. .. It's destiny. The very same destiny that I'm playing around with and making it my own. Rolling with the punches, that's how I get ahead. You can talk about how gifted you are and how great you can be, seriously, management eats that shit up. But there's something that you can't deny that you are. Maybe our crowd can answer that for you.

He looks around the capacity crowd trying to get an answer out of them, he smiles at how nobody gets it, but some were close enough.

Ryan: Nope, but guy in purple shirt was close. You see Julianna, you're too green, too new. You can talk about your generation all you like, but the fact of the matter is that I've been in a ring a lot longer than you have. I've fought against tougher people in general and got my ass kicked so much that I expect a better fight every time my name gets announced. So flip your scripts, write about it in your journal or whatever it as that you were talking about and reach for the stars... it'll make for a nice visual when I paint your defeat and hang it up on my wall.

Julianna rolls her eyes as she hears the response from Ryan Keys.

Julianna: Okay... first off, NOBODY calls me "Anna". Secondly... you want to talk about destiny? Figures. That's what people like you believe in right? Destiny? At least you appear to realize that you write your own destiny and that's exactly what I am going to do tonight, write my own destiny by winning the West Coast Championship I SHOULD have won in that ladder match. It doesn't matter how new I am to this business, it doesn't matter how much longer you've been doing this than I have, and hell, it doesn't matter what you've accomplished in your career in other companies, it's the current moment that matters. Maybe you've faced tougher athletes, but you've never faced anyone like me one on one. The only painting you're hanging up on your wall?

Julianna pauses as she delivers a slight scoff.

Julianna: ...is a blank canvas... because that, Ryan, represents how empty you feel when that championship becomes MINE!

Julianna flips the microphone upside down and drops it while sporting a confident smirk on her face. She turns around, walks toward the ropes, steps through them and hops off the apron, walking up the ramp to boos from the audience as she keeps her back turned to the West Coast Champion all the way to the stage and through the curtains as we see a video package for tonight's Main Event.

Match 5

Jess Hardy vs Wulf Erikson

The opening bars of 'Surprise! You're dead!' blast forth from the PA which sets off the fans in attendance. They BOOOO their hearts out because they truly despise the very essence of Wulf Erikson.

The BOOOO becomes louder as Wulf throws back the curtain and comes screaming out of the dressing area onto the ramp - he is telling the fans how fat, ugly, unemployable etc they are. As much as they despise Wulf, they join in with his catchy entrance theme, screaming "SURPRISE! YOU'RE DEAD!" whenever it comes up.

Wulf makes his way down the ramp avoiding a barrage of empty cans and other assorted trash. He grins and grabs the ropes, hoisting himself up and over them backwards (skinning the cat) in a show of athleticism before he starts running the ropes in anticipation of his opponent.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. First to the ring from Roswell, New Mexico weighing in at 185 pounds... he is Wulf Erikson!

As Grimes' "Kill V. Maim" sounds out across the venue, Jess appears smiling on the entrance ramp as the vocals begin, energetically slapping hands with the fans as she makes her way down to the ring. She then rolls under the ropes and raises her fist in the air in the centre of the ring.

Mackenzie: And his opponent from San Diego, California... she is Jess Hardy!

DING DING DING

Jess quickly moves in for a lockup, but Wulf is able to take control. He spins and is able to back Jess into a corner. Wulf looks to pick Jess up and places her on the top turnbuckle. He climbs up to the second rope and looks to superplex her down, but before he can grab a solid hold of her she is able to kick him off as he lands on his back. Jess gets to her feet and jumps off driving a knee into the head of Wulf Erikson

Phoenix: Great effort there by Jess Hardy to take advantage of the situation!

Jess goes for the cover

Kickout by Wulf. Jess gets to her feet as she grabs the head of Erikson. She pulls him to his feet as she executes a snap DDT. Driving him to his head, Jess grabs his leg for a single leg Boston Crab.

Phoenix: Great leg submission here.

Wulf reaches out for the ropes and grabs them. She releases him as Wulf pulls himself up. Once up, he turns around right into a boot to the gut. She hooks a leg and hits "Last Light" (Cradle DDT), as Jess goes for the cover again.

Kickout by Wulf Erikson once again.

West: It looks to be Jess Hardy in control so far.

Jess picks Wulf up to his feet, grabs him, and but he drops to his knees with a jawbreaker. Hardy snaps back giving Wulf a moment to refocus. Wulf slowly is up to his feet as he reaches and grabs Jess. He pulls her up to her feet, but immediately she begins to drive him backwards with strikes over and over. Right. Left. Right. Left. She catches him off guard and drives him into the ropes. He quickly switches positions so that her back is to the ropes, but she ducks an incoming strike. Before he knows it, a knee to the gut and Erikson is doubled over.

Phoenix: This is Jess's chance!

She grabs him and hits "Atrocity Exhibition" (Sunset Flip Piledriver/Canadian Destroyer) as she makes quick use of the finish and covers him.

She celebrates as we break for a commercial.

As we come back from commercial "Mummy Dust" begins to play as the lights dim and a large spotlight shines down on the stage. Aaynet walks out, but she's on her own this time. Aaynet looks out at the crowd in disgust before he stalks her way down to the ring. As she reaches the end of the ramp Aaynet slithers into the center of the ring and rises up to her knees, Aaynet raises her fist and slams it down on the mat as the lights go out. The lights slowly come back up and Aaynet is now lounged out across the top rope with a mic in her hand.

Aaynet: Twice, we have been put up against make shift teams, and twice we have been absolutely dominate. We are the best team that this company has, but instead they would rather showcase some preachy babbling fools.

Aaynet rolls her eyes as she shakes her head and gets down from the ropes, walking to the center of the ring.

Aaynet: We will get our respect though, and that is exactly why I am out here right now. West Coast Genesis, Devlin Scott, you will answer these three simple requests, no, not requests, demands.

Aaynet raises her hand and holds up one finger.

Aaynet: A match with the so called Messiahs, so we can prove our superiority.

Aaynet raises a second finger.

Aaynet: Gunnar one on one with Ryan Keys. After he stuck his nose in our business tonight and attacked Gunnar with that title like a coward, Gunnar deserves his chance at revenge.

Aaynet holds up a third finger as a smirk comes across her face.

Aaynet: I want Ruby Rose in the All Female Invitational. I want to eliminate her in the first damn round and show that she's nothing more than a cute annoying little bitch. I expect an answer on these very soon. If they are not met, well maybe we'll take matters in to our own hands.

Aaynet drops the mic, drops down and slithers back out of the ring, then walks up the ramp with the fans booing her the entire way.

Donovan Basch vs Kristian Bane

“♪California Love!♪”

The intro to “California Love” begins to play, and the crowd roars to life at the unexpected appearance of Danni LeBlanc. She stands out on the stage, a radiant smile on her face before walking down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans as she works her way down.

Phoenix: Huh... I wonder what she’s doing out here....

Just as Hayden Phoenix finishes his sentence, Danni takes a seat beside him at the commentary table, donning the spare headset as she gazes toward the ring.

Phoenix: Not that I’m complaining or anything, it’s just that I normally work alone at this gig.

Danni: Yeah well, I figured you could use a different perspective on things for this match, and since I hadn’t planned on leaving until after Donovan’s match, here I am!

Phoenix: Speaking of Donovan Basch, your relationship has certainly been gaining momentum over the last few days. Care to fill us in on just what the situation is between the two of you?

Danni: Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock, I would think it’s fairly obvious. Anyway, what happens outside the ring is our business. Right now, it’s about what’s gonna go down inside that ring.

Phoenix: Well, we know what you think about one half of the participants of this match; what do you have to say about the other half?

Danni: Let me put it to you this way: What do you get when you try to shove 100 pounds of monkey crap into a 20 pound bag?

The arena goes dark, a slow booming sound can be heard and BAM! Pyros shoot off as 'The Vengeful One' blares. Kristian Bane walks out in front of the crowd. Bane walks methodically to the ring. He waits in the ring for his next victim.

Phoenix: Speak of the devil...

Mackenzie Murphy: From Parts Unknown... he weighs in at 315 pounds... KRISTIAN BANE!!!

Bane paces around the ring. When he spots Danni at the commentary table, he gives her a twisted smile and says something that the cameras can’t pick up on. Danni stands up from her seat, burning a hole through him with her eyes.

Danni: Yeah, whatever, you overstuffed meatbag!

Phoenix: Well, clearly there’s no love lost between you...

Danni: Sarcastic much?

Once the opening chords of "Poor Twisted Me" echo through the arena, Donovan emerges from the backstage area, taking his time to survey the arena and the fans attending the event. He plasters a derisive smirk upon his face and makes his way to the ring, chuckling to himself as he soaks in the rancor of the crowd. Once he reaches the ring, he performs a standing jump from the floor to the apron, pausing long enough to shoot one last look over his shoulder before entering the ring. He spots Danni at ringside, offering his girlfriend a quick smile before staring across the ring at Bane.

Mackenzie Murphy: And his opponent... wrestling out of Oceanside, California; he weighs in at 270 pounds... DONOVAN BASCH!

Danni: Yeah, baby! Now we’re talkin’!

Phoenix: I’d tell you to curb your enthusiasm, but that’d be like telling a fish not to swim.

Danni: Yeah, well someone has to add a little color to this table!

Phoenix: Ouch...

The bell rings, and the two behemoths meet in the center of the ring, staring each other down. Bane starts off by shoving Basch back, which only serves to make him even angrier than he already is. Donovan charges at Bane, driving him back first into the corner, drilling him with a series of vicious knee strikes to the gut.

Phoenix: And right off the bat, this match is off to a hot start! These two big dogs are taking it right to each other...

Danni: Yeah, but it’s clear who’s the REAL dominant force in this match!

Phoenix: It’s still fairly early into the match. Nevertheless, we’re off to a great start!

The referee pushes between the two grapplers, backing Donovan out of the corner. He complies, begrudgingly, a wicked sneer on his face as Bane shakes off the cobwebs from Donovan’s earlier assault. Once the referee moves out of the way, this time it’s Bane charging out of the corner, firing back at Donovan with a series of punches. Donovan fires back with some strikes of his own. One of his punches barely grazes Bane’s chin as the heavier of the two manages to pull back. The momentum from Donovan’s swing causes him to lunge forward, opening him up to a clubbing forearm strike to the back from Bane. Donovan reels from the blow but doesn’t fall. Bane goes on the assault, grabbing Basch and whipping him hard into the turnbuckle.

Danni: Come on, Donny! You can handle this clown!

Phoenix: Just goes to show you how quickly things can turn around in a match. Now we’ve got Kristian Bane going on the offensive, taking it to Basch. It’s still anyone’s match at this point!

Basch fights his way out of the corner, blasting Bane with a spinebuster that sends him crashing hard to the canvas. He goes for the cover, but Bane kicks out at two. Donovan stays on him with a ground and pound assault that only halts when Bane reaches up to blind Donovan with a thumb to the eye. Donovan rolls off to regroup as Bane gets to his feet. With both men back at a vertical base, Bane moves in on Donovan, only to get checked in the gut by a brutal back elbow strike. Donovan follows up with a knee to the face that sends the larger man staggering, clearly dazed by the force of Basch’s blow. Donovan grabs Bane, whipping him into the ropes, then sending him to the mat with a decapitating clothesline. He moves toward the turnbuckle, pointing his finger toward the sky...

Phoenix: What’s he going to do now?

Danni: I know that look on his face. When he points his finger in the air like that, it can only mean one thing; my big man’s gonna fly!

Indeed, as soon as Danni finishes her sentence, Donovan hops onto the turnbuckle with the grace of a gazelle, throwing out his arms as he lets out a roar. He launches himself through the air, perfectly executing a flawless senton bomb.

Danni: Now THAT was a thing of beauty right there!

Phoenix: What impressive agility for a man his size!

He rolls through to his knees, then moves in for the cover...

Mackenzie: The winner of the match... Donovan Basch!

Danni removes her headset and moves into the ring to celebrate with her boyfriend. As the pair embrace, Bane slowly gets to his feet. He catches sight of Danni, who has her back to him as she is focused on Donovan as he plays to the crowd on each side of the ring. As the pair walk past Bane, he starts to advance on Danni, but just as he gets within arm’s reach, Donovan blasts him in the head with a sickening roundhouse kick. He goes to check on his girlfriend, who nods her head, assuring him that she’s okay as they both head toward the entrance ramp. As they make their way up, Bane gets to his feet, rubbing his jaw and glaring at the couple as we head backstage.

Keiji Sugiwara and Trenton Kelvin can be seen hanging around backstage. Both men seem very relaxed, Keiji leans up against a wall, he takes a few practice swings with his wooden katana.

Keiji: So apparently Redheads have no interest in fine cinema, who knew?

Trenton offers a hearty laugh.

Trenton: So I never asked you, what happened after you went home? I saw you talking to both of the ladies after I stumbled away? I passed out face first into a bed.

Keiji: The redhead was a bit dull, but the blonde stuck around and watched some Space Jam.

Keiji chuckles nervously.

Trenton: Space Jam. You dog!

Trenton nudges Keiji with an elbow.

Trenton: You should've brought her to breakfast the next morning. Unless you are more of the hit it and quit it sort of guy.

Trenton laughs, knowing that Keiji was not that at all.

Keiji: Oh yeah big time.

Keiji couldn't keep a straight face, he knew he wasn't the type.

Keiji: I offered, she had stuff to do I guess. Not my type anyway. God, we have to hang out more. I had fun.

Trenton: Next time you hang with me in Cali? We can get lost and figure shit out together because I get lost crossing the street without trying.

He laughs.

Trenton: But on to more important things. You ready to tag?

Keiji: Most definitely, after a couple of days of fun, the ring looks good. Feeling relaxed, and ready for some tag action.

Keiji rolls his neck, and cranes his head to face Trenton.

Keiji: What about you, you ready for this?

Trenton jumps up and down, loosening up.

Trenton: Definitely. I know we aren't a set tag team, but I think we can take this. I have no worries. Win or lose, I think this is the makings of something big.

Keiji: I think we can take the match also, we may not have been in a ring as a team together. But we've gotten to know each other pretty well, and that's a good start. Martini after?

Keiji laughs a bit at this, knowing Trenton wasn't much into "fancy west coast drinks."

Trenton laughs.

Trenton: Perhaps something a little more Southern, harder, and not so fancy.

A staff member knocks on the door.

Staff Member: Five minutes guys.

Trenton: Looks like it is about our time.

Keiji: Looks like it, guess we're about to find out just how ready we really are. Oh, and you know I'm going to take you up on that drink.

Keiji pats the wall, pushes off, and offers his hand to Trenton.

Keiji: You ready to do this?

Trenton nods.

Trenton: Let's do it!

We head to another location.

The arena goes quiet as the house lights come up. The crowd start to get up thinking the show is taking an intermission before -

“!!!WE ARE YOUR SAVIOURS!!!”

blares out around the arena. The Messiahs, Damien and Lucifer Salvatore, step out onto the stage without any music playing. They stop to take in a confusing mixture of reactions for the fans. Luficer falls to his knees and puts his arms out to embrace the crowd. Damien stand tall behind him.

Damien: Over the last week, you have seen who Trenton and Keiji really are.

Lucifer: Tonight they step into the the mouth of the devil and accept their fate. Only the ones wronged by them can truly punish the deserving!

A wide grin cracks upon Lucifer’s face. The hostages step out onto the stage serious and focused on marching to the ring like druids. The Messiahs follow behind them to the ring. The twelve hostages all walk around the ring and evenly surround it while the brothers climbs into the ring.

Lucifer: People always want a villain but sometimes life is not that easy. Not all of us our evil but none of us are saints either. We are all dirty sinners in this world together!

He again falls to his knees this time in the centre of the ring. Damien steps up behind him.

Damien: These ‘hostages’ are actors. I told you! We are not monsters, but rather, judges.

Lucifer: It was all a test! Trenton and Keiji failed miserably!

Damien: See this wasn’t real, it was all a set up. But some fan watching had to get the police involved.

Lucifer: Knowledge is power and power is the key to survival. We can even get to the police they are still only mortal!

Damien: Yet we proved Trenton and Keiji do not care about anyone but themselves and winning matches.

Lucifer: But you can’t beat an entity that you do not know, my friends.

Damien: If they had followed our clue and won our game they would be here right now celebrating. We would have celebrated with them….

Lucifer: But instead you have pissed off twelve people who you’d have let die if this had all been real! They now have front row seats to our encounter. And, as your judges, me and my brother have to sentence you to a lot of pain!

Damien: WE! THE MESSIAHS! Are on a crusade to rid the wrestling world of truly evil individuals like you too.

Lucifer: Seven Circle! Please watch this encounter too and learn who me and my brother really our!

Damien: Brothers of pain, brothers of peace.

Lucifer: And you my fans, please rejoice our names. We are not here to act a heel or be monsters. We are men who want change and will do…

Damien: ANYTHING!

Lucifer: To those who do wrong. Listen to your messiahs…

Damien: We speak only in truths!

We head to Mackenzie in the middle of the ring.

Trenton Kelvin & Keiji Sugiwara vs The Messiahs (Damien & Lucifer)

'Killing in the Name' by Rage Against the Machine plays for a few seconds before it goes off for Mackenzie.

Mackenzie: The following contest is a tag team match! First inside of the ring from The Kingdom... the team of Damien and Lucifer Salvatore!

You're a crack-of-dawn, Monday-morning, coffee strong
Poured everything you got into a paycheck Friday night
You're a Powerstroke diesel, backhoe-riding king of beers, eighteen-wheeler
Driving, living life in between the lines
Of clocking in and quitting time

Trenton Kelvin comes out from the back. Two spotlights shine up into the air, and back down on Kelvin as his face shows little emotion. He stands at the top of the ramp, and looks over the crowd.

When the lights come on, everybody's screaming
Lighters in the sky, yeah, everybody's singing
Every word to every song to a girl to take it home tonight
When the lights come on, everybody's feeling
A hallelujah high from the floor to the ceiling
Yeah, the drink that we're drinking, the smoke that we're smoking

He air punches with both arms and makes his way down the ramp with a focus on the ring in front of him. Trenton climbs up the steel stairs and into the ring.

Mackenzie: And their opponents... first from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana weighing in at 203 pounds... He is Trenton Kelvin.

Hellyeah by Hellyeah places as Keiji Sugiwara comes down the ramp slapping the hands of the fans.

Mackenzie: And his partner from Osaka, Japan... currently residing in Yuma, Arizona weighing in at 208 pounds... he is Keiji Sugiwara!

Both teams talk it over as Damien and Keiji will begin the match.

DING DING DING

The match begins as Damien starts taking it to Keiji. Damien connects with a huge Big Boot sending Sugiwara to the mat. Damien makes the cover.

Phoenix: Early pin attempt by Damien Salvatore.

Damien raises to his feet as he reaches down to pull Keiji up, but Keiji grabs his head and pulls his in for an inside cradle.

Not even a full one count as a kickout by Damien. Not happy, Damien gets up to his feet and begins to stomp away at Sugiwara. Keiji tries to block the attacks but is unsuccessful at doing so. Damien kicks to his head, chest, and legs. Damien reaches down and picks his up, using a huge body slam to take Sugiwara back down. Damien makes the cover with an elbow to the face of Keiji.

TWO

Another kickout. Damien lifts up Sugiwara and tries to whip his into the corner, but Sugiwara reverses it and sends Damien into the corner with Trenton waiting. Sugiwara heads for the corner and tags in his partner. Kelvin climbs into the ring as he grabs Damien and picks his up onto the top turnbuckle.

Phoenix: Trenton Kelvin showing a little bit of power!

Before Kelvin can utilize any offense, he gets hit from behind as Lucifer came charging across the ring. Kelvin gets clobbered from behind as he falls to his knees. Lucifer grabs him by the hair and yells something at him, and sends him to the mat with a hard kick. The ref finally gets involved and sends Lucifer Salvatore back to his corner. Meanwhile, Damien, a massive leg drop to Trenton leaving the leg over the throat for a pin attempt.

And a kickout by Trenton.

Phoenix: Trenton and Keiji start to gain a little momentum, but then the size of The Messiahs just takes over!

Damien gets up and begins to slowly walk over to a waiting Lucifer Salvatore. He reaches out and tags him in. Kelvin reaches up and is able to just tag in Sugiwara back into the ring. Salvatore heads immediately for Kelvin, grabbing him from behind and sending him over the top rope head first to the floor below. Salvatore turns his attention to Sugiwara, who springboards off of the top rope looking to drop Lucifer but instead the big man takes Keiji down with a massive clothesline.

Phoenix: Wow! What impact!

Keiji is not able to do much as Lucifer lifts him up. Grabbing Keiji by the throat, he takes aim at the corner where Damien is waiting. Lucifer lifts Keiji up and hits Incarcerationm Slam (A choke slam into the the turnbuckles) as Keiji's head whips and he falls forward to his stomach. Lucifer reaches up and tags Damien in, Lucifer heads outside of the ring to grab Trenton and whips him back first into the barricade. Inside of the ring, Damien lifts Keiji up and uses Freedom Release (Lifting the opponent to the top rope, climbs to the second to perform a German Release Suplex of the top rope) as Keiji skids across the mat.

Phoenix: I think he just killed Keiji!

Just putting a foot to the throat of Keiji, he makes the easy cover.

Phoenix: Wow... what a dismantling.

Mackenzie: The winners of the match... they are The Messiahs!

We move backstage.

Hype fades backstage where a frustrated and angry Julianna DiMaria is trying her best to keep her composure as she sits on a crate, ruminating about the upcoming championship match in front of her. Her encounter with Ryan Keys earlier in the night didn’t do much to help her mood at all and neither does the moment she realizes that there’s a camera in her face when she’s trying to gather her final thoughts before the main event.

Julianna: Really? I’m trying to have a moment to myself here and you’ve got that thing in my face?

Cameraman: Yeah… is that a problem?

Julianna: Is that a problem? What kind of question is that? In fact….

Julianna takes a deep breath, calming down and having a brief smiling moment to herself before she gets refocused.

Julianna: It’s not a problem. No, I think having a camera in my face is a far better “problem” to be dealing with than the problem that’s surrounding me. That problem? It’s a multitude of things. It’s the fact that I don’t have the WCG West Coast Championship, at least not yet. It’s that Ryan Keys is not only trying to lecture me but also, that he thinks he’s THAT much better than me. Now, I will admit that he IS better than me… for now. He DOES have that championship to prove it… again… for now! But he really acts like the talent gap between the two of us is that wide, huh? I couldn’t stand his ego anymore and I couldn’t be in that same ring with him until… give or take… a good 20 minutes from now maybe? No, seriously… tell me that his “customer service” joke isn’t a sign that he’s taking me too lightly!

Cameraman: Um…

Julianna: No, seriously! I’m venting how I feel, and he tells me THAT? THAT is his initial response? Like I’m some kind of joke to him?

Cameraman: I admit, you might have a point there.

Julianna: Thank you. But the thing that really got to me is the fact that he thinks just because I’m new, and just because I’m “green”, that I’m no threat to him. New? Yeah. That may be true. But GREEN? You’re going to tell me that someone with parents for wrestlers, who trained for five years while wrestling on the Indy scene prior to WCG is “green”? The only thing that is green is the bile in his stomach when I force him to swallow his pride and ego by kicking it down his throat because with that kind of condescending attitude, losing that championship would make him sick to his stomach. Look, I’m really sorry. I try not to be THIS candid in front of a camera but I guess that’s what happens when your opponent treats you as something shallow and you know deep down you’re full of layers. Well, after tonight, you want to know which layer of me is going to be exposed? Champion! That’s what! Born to be a champion, taught how to be a champion, and as I’ve said before, lost like a champion at Origins. Well tonight… it’s time to not only win like one… but to BE one!

Then we’ll see how “little” of a threat I am on any given night.

Julianna: Is that good enough for ya?

Cameraman: Yeah… that’s… what I was hoping for actually.

Julianna: Good! Now get out of my face!

The cameraman leaves Julianna alone, and the San Diego native continues to sit down on the metal crate, ruminating through all of her feelings stemming from Origins as the scene shifts.

Main Event

Ryan Keys vs Julianna DiMaria

Makenzie: The following contest is our main event! It is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the West Coast Championship!

“Boss's Daughter” hits the speakers as Julianna DiMaria appears on the stage, greeted by some boos from the fans in attendance. She ignores them and heads down to the ring with a confident, focused look on her face. Once she heads inside the ring, she cracks her knuckles, indicating she's ready to fight and afterward does the "talk to the hand" gesture toward all the fans that are booing her, displaying another touch of arrogance to get the fans against her even more.. She heads to her corner and scoffs at the reaction she's getting as the song fades and she waits for what's coming next.

Makenzie: Introducing first, the challenger! From San Diego, California, weighing 125 pounds, Julianna DiMaria! And her opponent...

"I'm Made of Wax,Larry,What Are You Made Of?" by A Day to Remember plays while blue and white lights strobe over the stage. As Ryan’s entrance video is shown in the titantron the man himself walks out to take center stage. He’s designed himself with an elaborate image painted on his face and torso, which elicits a pop from the audience. With a bright smile playing on his lips he does a confident pose before slowly making his way down the ramp.

Makenzie: Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, he weighs in at 182 pounds! Introducing the defending West Coast Champion...Ryan Keys!

Slapping the hands of the fans to his side he jogs closer to the ring until he slides in through the bottom ropes. As he makes way up the corner ring post he stops and looks around to hear the cheers of the crowd as he teases them with tearing off his shirt and tossing it to the side. Showing the same confident pose as before he hops down and extends his leg over the ring post to stretch them out and show his flexibility before the match starts.

Phoenix: These two already have some history, and DiMaria definitely wants to show Keys and everyone else just why she deserves to be champ!

The referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

The bell rings, and the pair start slowly, each feeling the other out. Keys grabs a wristlock, but Julianna is quick to reverse it into one of her own; Ryan rolls through, kips up, and reverses it back to him in control, turning it into a hammerlock! DiMaria struggles at first, Keys using his slight experience advantage to keep his legs away from her when she tries to take him down, before he transitions it into a side headlock. This is easier for Julianna to escape, backing him into the ropes and setting him off to the opposite side. Coming back, Ryan jumps over a prone Julianna, then ducks under a leap frog on his return. Back in one more time, this time DiMaria tries a clothesline, but Keys ducks one last time, and upon his return, he jumps up, grabbing Julianna with a running hurricanrana!

Phoenix: Huge impact from the West Coast Champ!

Ryan’s in full control as he drops several elbows on Julianna, but upon picking her up, the West Coast Champion finds his eyes raked! DiMaria brushes away the referee warning her, and pushes Ryan back into the corner. Whipping him across, she follows him in with a beautiful handspring elbow, then snap mares him down to the mat and covers for a two count! Julianna stomps away on Keys’ prone body, seemingly shouting at him that the West Coast Title should be (and will be) hers, before turning away, heading up top! Perched on the top rope, Julianna waits for Ryan to get up before launching with a diving crossbody, but she’s “Too Slow” as Keys actually bridges back and she flies right over his body, crashing into the mat! Ryan scrambles over, rolling Julianna over for a pin.

But only gets two!

Phoenix: Momentum in favor of Ryan Keys! It looks like we are amidst a classic bout here!

Keys picks his opponent up, and gives her a couple of knee lifts, before trying to hook her in for his “Lockdown” northern lights suplex! But before he can launch, Julianna grabs his wrist, spins out, and hits a picture perfect forward Russian legsweep! She rolls him over, only gets two on the cover, and immediately grabs his arm, dropping several knees on it, each accompanied by a loud scream, both from her and from him! Julianna picks Ryan up by the arm, and drops him back down with a single arm DDT, inflicting even more punishment as she looks to wear him down for a potential “Mercedes Bends!”

Phoenix: DiMaria swinging the match in her favor. She is wearing down the champ!

Julianna pulls Keys up off the mat, giving him a few harsh forearms to put him back in the corner once more. She charges in with a spear-like tackle, but a woozy Ryan Keys still has enough in the tank to shift out of the way and send his challenger careening into the ringpost shoulder first! He tries to catch her with a schoolboy roll up, but Julianna rolls through, back onto her feet, and drops low to catch a kneeling Champion with a basement dropkick! Both competitors are down, and both are clutching their arms!

Phoenix: Both of them are down as the ref counts!

Slowly, the referee’s count reaching “seven,” the pair reach their feet, and Keys tries to strike first with a spinning backfist! DiMaria ducks, and catches him with an attempt at a jawbreaker, but Keys breaks free! He grabs Julianna with an attempt at a sitout jawbreaker of his own, but she uses her good arm to bash a forearm into his hurt one! Kick to the midsection, and Julianna puts her foe down with a spinning neckbreaker! Using her good arm to pull herself up on the ropes, Julianna looks down at him and heads to the apron, planning to take flight with her springboard flying forearm smash!

Phoenix: DiMaria looking to end this and take the title!

Julianna measures Ryan up, waiting for him to get to his feet. Just as he does, she leaps up, perched for just a second on the top rope, before taking off! It’s picture perfect...except the landing, as Ryan jumps up and catches a falling Julianna with the Master Key single knee face buster! She’s out cold, Keys rolls her over and falls on top.

Phoenix: And Keys retains in a barnburner of a match!

After the match Keys is handed the belt as he holds it up. The cameras pan the audience as recently signed Austen Blackwell is sitting front row clapping for the hell of a match that they had. With his back to Julianna, she raises up to her feet and grabs him as he drops the title. She nails "DiMaria Code" - (Full Nelson Facebuster) as he faceplants on the title. As the crowd boos.

Phoenix: And she is NOT happy with the outcome. I assure you this little feud is FAR from over.

Julianna grabs the title and holds it up into the face of Keys before dropping it and his head, as she makes her way up the entrance ramp as the show comes to an end.
