RESULTS - WCG presents: Crossroad: Origins

We open the show as the cameras pan out into the backstage area where a rather loud male voice is heard, creating a ruckus. Coming from the corner of a hallway Ryan Keys is in view holding a megaphone to his lips. A styled scruff on his face, shirtless with gray sweatpants hanging low on his hips and a beanie he walks closer, calling out for someone as he looks around the area.

Keys: "TRENTON, WHERE ARE YOU? IT'S KEYS. I JUST WANNA TALK MAN... I KNOW YOU'RE AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE, AND I'M GOING TO FIND YOU ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. SO COME OUT, COME OUT WHERE EVER YOU ARE."

His heavily inked arms kept holding the megaphone up as he searches through the corridors, opening several doors along the way to try and find the man that won against him on the first ever Hype! show. Ryan's cold blue eyes look around until they focus on someone way up ahead that he could ask. a At least this one didn't look like a staff member. Once again he speaks loudly on the device.

Keys: "DON'T MAKE ME SAY MARCO ON THIS THING, TRENTON. YOU DON'T WANT ME TO OPEN THAT DOOR... ... .. HEY! HEY YOU! HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, I WANT TO TALK TO YOU."

Lowering the device, Ryan jogs ahead until he reached the small blonde that is backstage. He's fairly taller than her in comparison, but she hasn't moved away just yet. Unintentionally he lifts the megaphone back to his lips, pointing it away from her.

Keys: "HI, HAVE YOU SEEN... OOPS. Forgot this was still on. Hi, have you seen a guy named Trenton? Kinda tall, bald on the sides, last seen power-bombing me. You seen him?"

Ruby grimaces at the last effect of the megaphone blaring so close to her ear. She sticks a finger in her ear and gives it a little shake before it looks like she's able to actually continue on with this conversation.

Rose: "Ryan... sweetie..."

She smiles up at Ryan, placing a hand on megaphone and pushing it even further down and aside.

Rose: "First off, I'm super thrilled that you found some better ring attire. Super cute, by the way. Very laid back hipster vibe going on. I like it a lot."

Her hand does a little wave around Ryan's general area. Even though it's mostly his exposed torso that her hand is around due to that being more at her level, she is referring to the beanie and the sweats.

Keys: "However, this megaphone deal that you've got going on is so not happening. You gotta let it go, dude."

She means literally as she takes a hold of it and literally tries to take it from him.

Keys: "I mean, even if Trenton does hear all of this, is it really the best way to enter a little... whatever it is you're looking for from him. What is going on, exactly? You looking for revenge for the powerbomb or what? What's going on?"

Tugging back at the megaphone Ryan and Ruby had a small tug-of-war, Ryan raises his brow as he moves his focus on Ruby instead of the object between them. With an amused smirk tugging on the corner of his lip he's enjoying the interaction.

Keys: "I can't let the megaphone go, it's a rental, very expensive... Dammit!"

He curses a bit and bites the inside of his lips when Ruby takes the device away from him, winning the small game. Breathing out softly he lets his arms fall.

Keys: "What ever this is, is me trying to get his attention. After the last show I owe the guy an apology. I wasn't focused 100 %, worrying about my gear... and I wasn't fully covered when he lifted me up to bomb me. So I'm trying to find him to make sure he isn't scarred for life. I'm being a bro here."

Ryan explain as he wonders why Ruby was there. The it hit him that she's taking part in the second battle royal of the night.

Keys: "What about you? Why aren't you at the TV room watching the show like the rest of the roster? If you're lost I could help you find it in exchange for my megaphone."

He offers as he wiggles his tattooed fingers, trying to get Ruby to give the device back.... but has no luck.

Rose: "Ryan... Ryan?"

It's a bit of a chore getting the man's attention off of the megaphone. She has to actually snap her fingers in front of his face before smiling up at him.

Rose: "You don't need a megaphone to get someone's attention. You can, you know, ask around for him. There's a lot of people around here that can help you. A lot of people who are in charge of making sure everyone is where everyone is supposed to be. I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding someone who is responsible for making sure Trenton is exactly where he's supposed to be."

What a concept! Ruby keeps the megaphone secured behind her back as she lays that bit of wisdom on Ryan.

Rose: "As for me... I'm not really here. I'm just a figment of your overactive imagination. I'm only here to give you this epiphany and spare the world more megaphone madness."

Ruby's holds a hand out in front of her as she looks off into the distance and lays a bit of philosophical thought on Ryan. It lasts for about a moment before she has a laugh.

Rose: "I'm just funning ya! I'm actually just getting back from make-up. Check it out.

She moves closer to Ryan as she flutters her eyelashes to show off the great job the make-up team did on her eyes.

Keys: "Oh Good. I thought you were pulling a Rafiki from Lion King on me. If you'd have said 'Look beyond what you seek' I would have lost it."

Ryan chuckles for a bit before Ruby show's off her make up. Amused he tilts her head up with his finger as his cold blue eyes look at the work that was done on her. With a nod he approves.

Keys: "Very pretty. It's smart to make your eyes a bit more intense. You look ready to go out there and tear the ring apart with a nice smile."

He slowly pulls his hand back andrests them on his exposed hips. It looks like he's not getting his megaphone back, so he has nothing else to do except pose. Though he will keep an eye out for Trenton.

Keys: "But you're right. I'll try and ask around, though with the megaphone a lot more people could hear me. I know he's around. So I'll keep looking while I get ready for my match. And who knows, maybe at the end of the night it'll be us three on the main event. Doesn't sound to bad to me."

With a sly smile he focuses more on the night at hand, unless Ruby snaps her fingers in his face again. By the sounds of the backstage staff calling for them it seems that their time to work is getting closer.

Rose: "Well, that's our cue to be ready."

Ruby glances off in the direction the backstage staff with a nod before turning back to Ryan.

Rose: "I look forward to seeing you in the main-event with me tonight. In the meantime..."

She brings the megaphone back in front of her and makes a show of turning it off.

Rose: "Ima give this back since it's a rental and all. But how about we keep it in the OFF position, hm?"

Seems like it's a negotiation is taking place. Ryan can have it back, but he can't use it. I guess you really can't have your cake and eat it, too.

Keys: "Fine, but if there's ever a pep-rally happening around here you're talking out their loudest guy. I'll keep it off until next time."

He smirks a bit as Ryan still plans to use it when he goes out to talk to the crowd. They have yet to hear what he has to say about working in West Coast Genesis. Hearing the backstage staff again he sighs softly and pats Ruby's back.

Keys: "But now it's time for you to head out. I'll be keeping a close eye on you."

There is something about friends competing against each other that Hype's up Ryan even more, and he's sure it does the same for Ruby.

Rose: "I'll be watching, too. Just keep everything in this time, yeah?"

She gives his outfit a quick look over before flashing him a playful grin on her way off.

We cut backstage to the catering area, where Danni LeBlanc is sitting at one of the tables with a plate of assorted fruit in front of her. Nearby, a small monitor can be seen, though from this angle, we can’t see what, if anything, is on the screen. Danni leans back against the chair, her feet propped up on an empty seat as she pops a grape into her mouth.

Voice: What are YOU doing out here?

Startled by the abrasive tone of voice, Danni looks up, only to find herself staring into the cold, unsettling eyes of fellow wrestler Donovan Basch, who is standing off to the side with a small bag slung over his shoulder. Once she sees who she’s dealing with, she merely smirks and resumes looking at the screen.

Danni: What does it look like I’m doing, Humpty Dumpty? I’m sitting here, eating some fruit, and getting ready for my match. What about you? Shouldn’t you be getting ready for your match, later?

At the mention of the moniker Danni has dubbed him with, Donovan grits his teeth, letting out a low growl as he runs a hand over his face. His face turns red for a moment, but he does his best to keep his annoyance in check as he goes to grab one of the disposable coffee cups.

Donovan: Never mind what I’m doing.

Seeing the cup in his hand, Danni can’t help but laugh.

Danni: Weren’t you the one bitching about the coffee at Hype a few weeks ago?

Donovan reaches into the bag he’s carrying, pulling out a large, black thermos. As he shows it to Danni, he tips his head. This gets a laugh out of the young woman, who shakes her head as she reaches for a strawberry.

Danni: I see you planned ahead this time.

Donovan: Nothing wrong with that, is there, Ms. LeBlanc?

It’s Danni’s turn to be annoyed, as she rolls her eyes.

Danni: Just call me Danni, alright? Ms. LeBlanc is my mother.

Donovan: Duly noted, Ms... Danni.

Donovan pours the coffee from his thermos into the cup, gives Danni a quick nod and starts to walk off.

Danni: Hmph... weirdo...

A few yards away, Donovan pauses, turning his head to look back at Danni over his shoulder. He watches her bite into the strawberry, lets out a quiet chuckle, then walks away. With that, the scene cuts to ringside.

As we open to the locker room area, Keiji Sugiwara can be seen hyping himself up. He chats lowly with himself, his nerves possibly taking over. This was, after all, WCG's first PPV, and Keiji wanted to put on a show for the fans. The Last Emperor seems to hear something outside of his door, so naturally he turns, and looks in that direction.

Honey slowly opens the door covering her eyes with her hand

Honey: Is everyone decent, like, dressed?

Honey says coming in slowly with jeans and her young Cubs jacket on and zipped up all the way.

Keiji: Honey! I'm totally decent, come on in. I'm so glad you came, I need all the moral support I can get.

Keiji smiles, as he walks towards Honey, an obvious skip in his step.

Keiji: Love that jacket by the way, I'm wearing mine as well. Thank you once again for that, never leave home without it.

Honey looks and smiles at the jacket, pulling it to set it right on him and dusts off the shoulders and arms

Honey: You're welcome, and you, like, earned it!

Honey says showing hers off too and stands side by side.

Honey: Now we match, Redemption Young Cub next to a WCGenesis Young Cub.

Keiji poses for a few moments, and begins to chuckle at the antics of Honey, and himself.

Keiji: Never thought I would hear my name, mentioned alongside the Young Cubs. I will do my best, to make the name look good. I just hope it's ok with Alechs.

Honey: Alechs I think will like you because you are super dedicated like he is, you two could, like, maybe do some boys training sometime. Then me and Lilly can practice against you two boys vs girls.

Honey says daydreaming about possibilities for their training.

Keiji: Hey, I am always up for some gym time. So, if he's game, so am I. Never hurts to have a good training regiment.

Keiji nods, talk of training has his mind firmly back on the match to come.

Honey: Lovely! And maybe we will, like, train with the WCGenesis Champion. Good luck, because I was in a Battle royal and avoid, like, going overboard at all cost and find a friend too, like I had Lilly in my first ever battle royal.

Honey says almost coaching on her own experience.

Keiji: Trust me, the absolute last thing I want is to make an enemy. But, at the same time I'm not going light either. Going to go with the flow, and if it's not my night I'll come back strong next time.

Honey: Well, I'm wishing you, like, lots of luck to win.

Honey says opening her arms up.

Keiji embraces Honey, and when the hug is over he takes a moment to let it sink in.

Keiji: I appreciate that, I'll definitely need luck. So many moving parts, a lot has to go right in order for me to pull this off.

Honey: I'll be in the crowd watching so, like I will see all of the matches and stuff. It's a huge opportunity.

Honey says squeezing him once and parts the hug.

Keiji: It's totally a big night for West Coast Genesis, and hopefully you get a good show. Don't worry though, these guys have been ready for it. So, it should be something amazing.

Honey: Mmhmm.

Honey nods.

Honey: I'll see you in the ring, don't be nervous, go with the flow like you said.

Honey says taking a step back to the door

Keiji: One more thing before you go.

Honey turns to face Keiji, a look of slight confusion on her face.

Keiji: Young Cubs for life!

Honey smiles so gleefully with her arms down and raises her shoulders, too happy with his comment.

Honey: Young Cubs for life!

Honey holds her jacket and then raises her hand up for a high five after she opens the door.

Keiji nods, gives his jacket collar a pop, and high fives Honey.

Trenton Kelvin vs Danni Leblanc vs Brandy Cognac vs Wulf Erikson vs Trevor Fowler vs Jessica Hardy


We open up inside of the arena as inside the ring already is Wulf Erikson and Trevor Fowler.

Mackenzie: The following contest is the first of three Championship Battle Royale matches. The winner is the last person to remain inside of the ring, with all competitors being eliminated by being thrown over the top rope and both feet touching the floor below. First inside of the ring is... Wulf Erikson. And Trevor Fowler.

You're a crack-of-dawn, Monday-morning, coffee strong
Poured everything you got into a paycheck Friday night
You're a Powerstroke diesel, backhoe-riding king of beers, eighteen-wheeler
Driving, living life in between the lines
Of clocking in and quitting time

Trenton Kelvin comes out from the back. Two spotlights shine up into the air, and back down on Kelvin as his face shows little emotion. He stands at the top of the ramp, and looks over the crowd.

When the lights come on, everybody's screaming
Lighters in the sky, yeah, everybody's singing
Every word to every song to a girl to take it home tonight
When the lights come on, everybody's feeling
A hallelujah high from the floor to the ceiling
Yeah, the drink that we're drinking, the smoke that we're smoking

He air punches with both arms and makes his way down the ramp with a focus on the ring in front of him. Trenton climbs up the steel stairs and into the ring.

Mackenzie: Making his way from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana weighing in at 203 pounds... he is Trenton Kelvin!

Cheers (Drink to That)," Rihanna starts to play, as Brandy walks out. She is carrying a flask filled with brandy, as she stops after walking out. She looks out to the crowd, as she smirks, and raises her flask in the air. She starts to walk down to the ring, as she climbs the stairs. She slides in under the middle ropes, as she heads to the middle of the ring. She again raises her flask, before she brings it down. She heads for her corner, as she takes a drink from the flask, before setting it down in her corner, as the music dies down.

Mackenize: From Houston, Texas... she is Brandy Cognac!

As Grimes' "Kill V. Maim" sounds out across the venue, Jess appears smiling on the entrance ramp as the vocals begin, energetically slapping hands with the fans as she makes her way down to the ring. She then rolls under the ropes and raises her fist in the air in the centre of the ring.

Mackenzie: From San Diego, California... she is Jess Hardy!

“California Love” begins to play as the crowd is bathed in crimson light and the name "Danni" appears on the Tron. Danni LeBlanc emerges on the stage, doing a seductive little turn before making her way down the ramp, zig-zagging between both sides of the aisle to high-five the fans. Once she makes it to the ring, she hops up onto the ring apron before dropping down into the splits and rolling through as she slides under the bottom rope. She then stands in her corner and gets in some last-minute stretches before her match begins.

Mackenzie: And from El Segundo, California... she is Danni LeBlanc!

Phoenix: Welcome everyone to Crossroad: Origins. I am doing commentary solo until our Main Event, when our General Manager Miss Emma Dylan will join me. We have the first in a series of three matches, before the Main Event. Each of these three matches will be an over the top Battle Royale where the winner from each of the three matches will take part in the Main Event. That match is a Ladder Match in which the West Coast Championship is hung from the roof. It looks like we are ready for our opening match action!

The referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

The match begins as Trenton and Danni starts to work over Wulf, while Brandy and Jess work over Trevor. The two pairing remain in opposite corners. The first set work high and low as Trenton leans into Wulf with a European uppercut while Danni works the legs with a series of kicks to the side of the knees. Wulf tries to fight his way out of it, but the two of them just strike him over and over. Trenton backs up and drives a boot to the head of Wulf as he seems to sulk down. Danni leans into him and lifts him up onto her shoulder.

Phoenix: What power from LeBlanc!

She tosses him up and hits a knee to his face as he takes the shot hard and crumples to the mat. Trenton nods at Danni as they work together to lift Wulf up. Once up, they both shoot him off into the ropes. He throws both arms up to stop his momentum as Danni and Trenton charge forward. A double big boot to the head of Wulf Erikson sends him up and over the top rope and out to the floor below.

Mackenzie: Wulf Erikson has been eliminated!

Phoenix: And there you have it, we are down one man already. Danni and Trenton seemed to have made a pretty good team to start things off here.

On the other side of the ring, we see Brandy and Jess work over Trevor. Jess uses a foot to the throat of Fowler choking him as Brandy uses a series of body shots. Hardy releases him as both ladies lifts him up to the top of the corner. He battles them, swinging wildly. He connects, sending Brandy back down to the mat. He swings, but Hardy ducks it and jumps back down to her feet. Brandy works her way back up to her feet as both ladies climb back up to the second rope. They each hook Fowler as they hit a two-person Superplex sending Fowler hard to the mat. 

Phoenix: Listen to that crowd! Fowler hit that mat very hard!

Nodding at each other, both Hardy and Cognac still work together as they lift Fowler up to his feet. Each grabbing an arm, they shoot him up and over the top rope eliminating him from the match.

Mackenzie: Trevor Fowler has been eliminated! 

The four of them look around to the crowd as the crowd gets behind them. Immediately. Danni and Trenton start to trade shots as Brandy and Jess start to trade punches as well.

Phoenix: And the two teams are breaking down already. Only one winner here, and they all want a part of tonight's Championship Ladder Match!

Danni and Trenton trade shots back and forth. Danni connects with a right, and Trenton returns it with a right of his own. Danni backs him off into the ropes and shoots him off. As he returns, Danni hits a bicycle kick that knocks Trenton flat onto his back. At the same time, we see Brandy take control and shoots Jess into the ropes. As Jess returns, Brandy hits a mean sit out spinebuster sending her to her back as well. Brandy pops up, as does Danni. The two ladies exchange a series of chops. One upping each other, Danni smacks her chest. And Brandy returns a chop to her chest. Back and forth as the crowd "Woos" with each shot until from behind Brandy, Jess Hardy has manages to roll towards the ropes. She grabs the ropes to pull herself up. Danni sees this as an opening chance. She grabs the arm of Cognac and pulls to whip her away from where Jess is. She pivot one hundred and eighty degrees and sends Brandy towards the ropes. Hardy pulls down the top rope as Brandy goes up and over. She manages to hang onto the top rope and onto the ring apron. As she looks up, Trenton Kelvin comes charging with a big boot over the top rope that sends Brandy down to the floor below.

Mackenzie: Brandy Cognac has been eliminated.

With Trenton and Jess up against the ropes, Danni quickly charges over and tries to lift both of them up. She lifts their legs as they lean up against the ropes. It is not use as there is too much body for Danni. Instead, Trenton and Jess both land back on their feet. Danni stands back as she charges again. Trenton and Jess work together to grab and toss Danni up into the air. She flies up and over to the ring apron, barely holding on.

Phoenix: Danni LeBlanc is in trouble here!

Trenton swings, but Danni ducks it and uses a shoulder into his gut. But it is a numbers game as by the time she realizes that Hardy got a running start, a hard dropkick through the ropes sends Danni LeBlance off of the ring apron and down to the floor below.

Mackenzie: Danni LeBlance has been eliminated. 

Phoenix: Trenton Kelvin and Jess Hardy are the two remaining inside of the ring. One of these two will be moving on for a match later tonight.

The two of them trade strikes. Jess with a right. Trenton with a right. Jess with another. And Trenton with another. Jess with a third. And a fourth. And a fifth. She works him backwards into the corner. She quickly runs up to the second rope. She grabs his head and pushes off of the rope for an assist DDT move, but Trenton manages to push her off as she lands hard onto her back. Trenton shakes off the cobwebs as he heads towards the middle of the ring.

Phoenix: This is the Cajun's shot!

He reaches down and pulls Hardy up. Pulling her in and lifting her up, he drops her hard to the mat with a Powerbomb. The fans stand and cheer as they can see the end coming. Still on his feet, Kelvin grabs her arm and drags her back up to her feet. Lifting her to his shoulders, he tosses her over the top rope and to the floor below.

DING DING DING

Phoenix: Trenton has done it! He moves on to the Main Event!

Mackenzie: The winner of the match... Trenton Kelvin!

We see a replay of the highlights as we break for commercial.

Backstage, Mia Bala is standing next to a...distracted Rachel Redding. She's not looking at the camera, or even at Mia; instead, Rachel is looking down at the ground, shifting her weight back and forth from foot to foot.

Mia: Standing by here with Rachel Redding, moments away from her stepping into the ring for the last of our qualifying battle royals. Rachel, you made a point of pointing out you're by far the smallest wrestler in this match-

Rachel puts her hand up, stopping Mia mid-sentence. She's still looking at the ground, but politely motions for Mia to move the microphone to her.

Rachel: And then someone claimed they'd use me as a projectile. We can stand here all night, and talk about how Donovan Basch thinks he's got my gameplan all figured out...

She raises her head, face looking at the camera now with a glare. Her eyes are steady, mouth curled into the familiar tiny smile from her promotional video days earlier. She raises an eyebrow, cocking it as she continues to talk.

Rachel: Perhaps you didn't hear me properly, Donovan. I didn't lay out the plan; I'm not Aaynet, so brash and confident in her hired hands that she specifically gave the order of elimination she wants her men to follow. I took you for the bright one of the bunch, and yet...here we are; minutes away and you simply think you've got everything figured out.

Rachel Redding lets out a small chuckle, looking over at Mia.

Rachel: Though, should I expect any less? Should I expect that these men, every last one of them, would think they have me figured out? Of course not. I'm getting every little bit of bravado and machismo I expected from Donovan, and every last bit of stupidity from the rest of them brave enough to open their own mouths, that they have me "figured out."

Rachel shakes her head, eyebrow lowered and looking back at the camera.

Rachel: Tonight's subtitle, "Origins." It's truly the Origin of WCG, more than the first night, where everyone...myself included...flailed around in the dark, looking to establish something resembling momentum. Tonight, however, is truly the night where all the people here, backstage...in the crowd...and everyone watching at home, sees the Origin of me. Rachel Redding. "The Present of Professional Wrestling."

Rachel looks at Mia, giving her a soft smile and placing her hand on Mia's shoulder...which Bala shrugs off, albeit with a smile of her own.

Rachel: I hope you'll enjoy the show.

Rachel Redding gives the camera one last look, a small "pfft" sound under her breath, and walks off.

As we come back from the break, Karston Daire stands close to the curtain. He takes a few deep breaths, fires off some quick punches and an uppercut as he does a bit of shadow boxing. He stops as he sees someone walking up out of the corner of his eye. Honey walks up in her young cubs jacket on with some jeans to match with the WCG backstage pass around her neck swaying. Honey sees what he's doing and decides to do some air boxing too slowly as she approaches.

Honey: Hi!

Honey says doing a few little jabs

Honey: I just wanted to wish you luck too tonight, I'm, like, wishing everyone the best of luck because it's Crossroads day! So, like, good luck.

Honey says focusing like he is on the air, confused why they are punching it but punches regardless. Karston looks at her and slightly rolls his eyes, thinking she's mocking his shadow boxing.

Karston: Thanks, I guess.

Karston stands there still and silent as Aaynet walks up, looks at Honey and rolls her eyes before she turns to Karston.

Aaynet: What is it with you and dumb blonde girls? You need to be focused on this battle royal. That title needs to come home with the Seventh Circle tonight.

Aaynet sees that Honey is still there and turns to her with an annoyed look.

Aaynet: Do you want something?

Honey cuts out the shadow boxing and offers up her hand to Aaynet

Honey: Hi, I'm Honey and I'm just wishing all the WCG people, like, the best of best of luck with their matches. Hello.

She says with a cute smile. Aaynet looks down at her hand, and sneers.

Aaynet: We don't need luck. Karston is the hardest hitting man in this entire company, and there is nothing that will stop us from getting the gold. Now run off and go play with your dolls or something.

Honey: I don't play with dolls. I'm just making sure everyone brings their best, manners, like, they cost nothing Skynet.

Honey says walking away with a little stomping in it. Aaynet stares her down for a few seconds, then turns back to Karston.

Aaynet: I might have to smash her pretty little face in, but right now we focus on this battle royal.

Aaynet turns Karston's head to the curtain and whispers something to him, as we go back to ringside

We return back inside of the ring as inside of the ring is already Jock Doxon and Danny Hound.

Mackenzie: The following is the third Battle Royale. Inside of the ring... Jock Doxon... and Danny Hound!

"Mummy Dust" begins to play as the lights dim and a large spiotlight shines down on the stage. Aaynet walks out and stretches both arms wide. Two massive plumes of smoke rise on either side of her and out steps Gunnar Wahl on the left and Karston Daire on the right. The two men let out a primal yell, then stalk their way down to the ring. Gunnar pulls himself up on to the ring apron as Karston heads up the steps. Aaynet slithers into the center of the ring and rises up to her knees as Gunnar and Karston step inside and take their places, to her left and right as all three raise their right fists high in the air, then slam them down on the ring, the lights going out as they hit the mat. The lights slowly come back up as Aaynet has moved out of the ring, leaving the monstrosities to mete out their violence.

Mackenzie: Making his way from Duluth, Minnesota weighing in at 245 pounds... he is Karston Daire!

"I'm Made of Wax,Larry,What Are You Made Of?"by A Day to Remember plays while blue and white lights strobe over the stage. As Ryan�s entrance video is shown in the titantron the man himself walks out to take center stage. With a bright smile playing on his lips he does a confident pose before slowly making his way down the ramp.


Mackenzie: From Las Vegas, Nevada weighing in at 182 pounds... he is Ryan Keys!

Once the opening chords of "Poor Twisted Me" echo through the arena, Donovan emerges from the backstage area, taking his time to survey the arena and the fans attending the event. He plasters a derisive smirk upon his face and makes his way to the ring, chuckling to himself as he soaks in the rancor of the crowd. Once he reaches the ring, he performs a standing jump from the floor to the apron, pausing long enough to shoot one last look over his shoulder before entering the ring.


Mackenzie: From Oceanside, California weighing in at 270 pounds... he is Donovan Basch!

“Hurricane (Arty Remix)” starts, with the lights dimming down. Once the main beat kicks in, Rachel Redding makes her way out from behind the curtain. She makes her way down the aisle, smiling at the fans; however, she doesn't make any effort to slap hands, in fact one who would pay attention could catch her actively avoiding contact while still waving at others nearby. She reaches the ring, climbing up on the apron and blowing a two-handed kiss to the crowd before getting into the ring, playing to them briefly, then dropping the smile as she heads to her designated corner.

Mackenzie: And finally from Raleigh, North Carolina... she is Rachel Redding!

The referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

Phoenix: And here we go!

Jock Doxon is standing against the ropes. Donovan charges in and smacks him in the jaw with a big boot. The force takes Jock over the top rope as he falls immediately to the floor on the outside.

Mackenzie: Jock Doxon has been eliminated!

The crowd goes crazy for the immediate elimination.

Phoenix: Wow! What a start!

Not to be outdone, Karston uses a Karston Kick (Bicycle Kick) to Danny Hound which sends him up and over the top rope, falling to the floor outside.

Mackenzie: Danny Hound has been eliminated!

Phoenix: And we are down to four already.

Rachel and Ryan have a stare down as they begin to grapple. Ryan pulls her into a headlock, but she manages a back body drop. At the same time, Karston and Donovan both begin to trade strikes. Karston with a huge right, and Donovan with a right of his own. Karston drives Donovan into the corner with a running shoulder. Basch tries to fight out of it, pounding on the back of Karston. Daire drops to one knee as Donovan reaches and grabs his head. Karston manages to lift up and seats Donovan up atop the corner. Karston climbs up the corner to try and use a suplerlex.

Phoenix: This is high risk!

Back to his feet, Ryan looks over to Rachel as they both see a chance. Running up from behind, they both give Karston a push as he goes head first over the corner and falls to the outside hard. The crowd chants "Holy Shit" as he somehow cleared Donovan and the corner.

Phoenix: Wow what an elimination! This Battle Royale has been fast paced!

Mackenzie: Karston Daire has been eliminated.

Dononvan is still perched on the corner. Ryan Keys backs up and runs up the corner. He connects with an enziguri that smacks Donovan hard in the head. Donovan teeters for a second. Rachel follows suit and hits an enziguri of her own. That sends Donovan over the edge as he falls hard to the ring apron and then to the floor below.

Mackenzie: Donovan Basch has been eliminated!

Back inside of the ring, Ryan Keys and Rachel Redding offer a staredown. They battle again. Rachel sends a hard kick to his gut, and follows it up with a snap DDT. He is planted on his head as Rachel works to drag him to the ropes. She manages him near them as she lifts up him. Battling with Keys, she tries to send him over the top rope but he blocks it. Using a desperation Spinning backfist
, he catches her off guard. She stumbles backwards as Keys hits a Sitout Jawbreaker
. She snaps back as she lands on her back.

Phoenix: Ryan Keys taking advantage of the momentum here.

Keys slowly rises up to his feet. Once up, he grabs Rachel and drags her up to her feet. He hits Lockdown (Northern Lights Suplex) that drives her to the mat. 

Phoenix: Ryan Keys is one elimination from being in the Championship match!

Keys grabs and lifts her up to her feet. Grabbing Rachel's head, he sends her head first up and over the top rope and to the outside. 

DING DING DING

Mackenzie: The winner of the match... Ryan Keys!

We see one more replay before heading for a commercial break.
