THE QUEEN'S MESSAGE.
Martin, oh, Martin… my precious little prey that I've been hunting for so long. I've finally got you where I wanted you. After weeks of little mishaps between you and I, we will be meeting in the ring one-on-one for what will presumably be the last time. For one last time you will carry that pretty gold belt with you, and I'm sure your grip will be tight as the grave reality will sink in with every step you take forward. When you're taking your own precious time walking down that ramp, you will be looking straight at the woman who will be the Ace in your Disgrace. No count-out victory is going to save you this time, Martin. Ultimate Resolve will be the last time you will have the New Gen championship in your possession as the crown will be finally coming home to its rightful owner. After all, I've come close to beating you on numerous occasions already, and of course, you just couldn't handle it. You had to settle for the easy way out of your troubling predicaments before, but now?
There is no escaping the hands of the Killer Queen.
I am coming for blood, Martin. I am seeking to demolish you from limb to limb, tearing you completely apart. As soon as you step inside that ring, the arena will turn into a slaughterhouse for your own bloodbath. For years I have been desperately seeking an accomplishment that I can attach to my name, and I have been deprived of the one thing that I've wanted for far too long now. My path has been filled with many mishaps, but this coming Sunday, there will be no more of it. This lust I have for glory and gold has been insatiable for quite some time, and now that the grand opportunity is presented to me once more, I will. Not. Quit. I am not holding a single thing back during our encounter, Martin, and I will tell you first hand that whenever I am this desperate... I will do whatever it takes to dismantle an opponent in order to make an example out of their broken body.
No force of nature and no act of God is going to stop me from utterly destroying you. Defeat lies ahead for you. You think that you're going to conquer me, but that kind of misguided thought will only serve to bring you closer to your own demise. The only conqueror around these parts is me. I am the one who holds the sword which has slain countless people. I am the eviscerator, I am the dominator and here in my ring - which is my kingdom - I rule. I will not allow anyone to come forth and take away my glory. The New Gen Championship shall serve as the catalyst for my grand ascension, and it will be a grand rise to the top for me. Soon, everyone in Redemption Wrestling will feel the wrath of the Killer Queen and the power that I possess. The foundations of my kingdom will stand through the test of time while you, Martin? You will be the architect of your failure. I’ll give you the blueprint for your own deterioration this Sunday, and through the rubble and remnants of your own broken career, I will stand amidst the debris with the gold held high above my head.
The coronation of Caroline O'Hara Burchill is here, and may hell hath no fury on those who try to delay the inevitable.
Like a lioness she was hungry for her prize, and every day since the announcement of the New Gen title match at Ultimate Resolve, Caroline O'Hara Burchill had been training extensively. Refining every bit of her technique, she was laser-focused on smoothing out any jagged edges of flaws that she possibly had. She had to be perfect. She had to come in with a killer mentality; hellbent on deconstructing every bit of her opponent from head to toe. Of course, she also spent countless time researching her competition, scouring through endless matches like a vulture's eyes piercing at its prey. Martin Karloff couldn't walk out as the victor at Ultimate Resolve. He just couldn't. He beat her twice already when it truly mattered, so for him to beat her yet again would only serve to further humiliate the already distraught Burchill.
She wasn't going to let him walk out with the gold for the third time.
And for the past two weeks, Caroline maintained a dedicated yet somewhat obsessed routine in preparation for the encounter. Other than being cooped up inside her office trying to find what made Karloff tick, she also frequented the gym to ensure that her wrestling abilities were sharpened. With every punch to the punching bag, she made sure that the attack would have enough force behind it. Each time she hit the ropes, she made sure to go faster and faster, keeping up the momentum. And with the research she had been doing, Caroline made sure to jot down anything interesting she found that she could use to her advantage. She was so self-absorbed in her own preparations that she sometimes forgot that she had to fulfill her own basic human needs. She barely ate and she was often a wreck by the time the day was over. However, if she had to do all of that just to become a champion, then so be it. She came too far in her career to lose and slip further away from championship gold.
She didn't want to go through the pain all over again. Disappointment was a constant antagonist in her life, but now was the time for her to get rid of it once and for all. She had to win. She had to come out on top. She had to get the gold.
