~Moves and Contracts 02/28/2017: Off Camera~
I found myself sitting out in my backyard, thinking over a lot of the things that had been going on. Aside from all the travel I had been doing lately, there was some family stuff happening and I was mostly trying to think of a way to sort all that out. Taking a hit off the cigarette I had between my fingers I heard the sliding glass door open, causing my attention to shift over just in time to see my youngest sister walk through it. She flashed me a smile as she moved over and sat down in the chair next to mine.
“Hey…”
Sometimes I really hate being the one that always cares, almost instantly I could hear a bit of a sadness in her voice causing me to sigh softly.
“What’s going on?”
“I… don’t want to be here anymore. I mean visiting is nice and I really appreciate everything you’ve done for me but I miss California. That’s home to me.”
“Him?”
She nodded a bit at my question, a soft sigh escaping her lips.
“It was stupid. You warned me, I didn’t listen and I need to get away before I end up sinking further into this fucked up situation. I won’t be able to control myself here… I’ll just let the cycle repeat.”
I leaned forward in my seat, shaking my head.
“I’ll help as long as you promise to at least visit every now and then.”
“Blair--”
Before she could even protest the idea I cut her off.
“You have very little money, you have no job, that state is expensive as all hell. How in the fuck are you going to survive on your own? It’s not an offer, I’m flat out telling you. When you get yourself a job and can support yourself I’ll stop helping, hell, if you want to keep track and pay me back I’ll even go with that.”
“You wouldn’t let me…”
“You’re damn right I wouldn’t let you but that’s beside the point. We’ve been through a lot of shit, Court. We haven’t seen eye to eye a lot of the time but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m your older sister. I’m what little family you have left as fucked up as we are, I do care.”
She sighed in defeat, sinking back into her chair as she looked down at the ground.
“You’ll be okay.”
“I know I will. I am a Kivisto after all right?”
I smiled at my baby sister and gave her a nod.
“Exactly and hey, if you can’t find a job out there I might have something for you to look into.”
“Oh?”
I smirked a little in her direction before I heard someone yell out ‘Mom!’ from inside the house causing me to look to the door.
“Out back!”
It wasn’t long before Jase walked out the door and looked over at Court giving her a wave.
“Hey Aunt NeNe.”
“Are you ever going to stop calling me that?”
“Nope!”
He grinned at Court and I just laughed a little.
“What’s up Jase? Everything okay?”
“Yeah, just wanted to know if it was alright if I went over to dad’s for a bit. I need a little help with my math homework.”
“Yeah that’s fine, while you’re there tell him to text me later. We gotta do some promotional stuff for Redemption.”
“Will do… are you guys going to discuss the terms of my managerial contract?”
I rolled my eyes at his question, shaking my head.
“Go before I kick your butt.”
“Got it… we’ll discuss it later.”
Before I could even respond Jase darted back into the house, leaving Court laughing as I put my head in my hands.
“Your son alright.”
“Don’t remind me…”
I leaned back into my seat, getting comfortable as me and my sister continued our conversation. Mostly planning out the details of when we’d go find something for her and move her.

The scene fades in to show a bedroom littered with band and game posters. The room itself looks as if a tornado hit it and in the midst of it all sat Jase Kivistö, Blair Laroux’s oldest son.
“The YouTube Kivistö is back! Coming straight to you from the comfort of my bedroom seeing as mom finally gave up on the ban.”
He flashed the camera a large smile.
“So you all know what that means right!? The BD promotion begins again by the world's youngest tag team manager! Anyone that follows my parents knows by now they are the best tag team in the business. They've beat all odds, they've left many people in the dust and they're just plain awesome.”
“Recently they dusted off the team and went for it again. The disappointing bit was when their first match didn't happen due to some bitter people that decided to take out the team they were set to face. The second match though, dear god, they beat the odds and beat all the teams involved. That really shouldn’t come as a shocker to anyone though considering this is Blair and Joey we’re talking about. Clusterfook tag matches seem to be a pretty good thing for them right.”
“Look I can sit here all day and tell you all how awesome Burlesque Duplicity is but you don’t have to believe me. There will always be those few people that scoff and brush it off so I offer you this bit of advice… Watch them, witness how uncontainable this team is because they will prove everything I’ve been saying. They will earn everything they are setting out to get no matter who steps in their way. This has been Jase Kivisto, Unofficial manager of BD, telling you all to watch and learn!”
The scene cut out to black.
