Scene One
Dedication
OFF SCREEN
Scene opens up to Courtney Leinart-Steele standing outside in the backyard of her Orlando home watching her husband Jacob Steele play with their fur babies laughing and everything else. When the two come home, they cherish the moment and spend as much time with their fur babies as possible before leaving again for the road.
Courtney:
It’s so beautiful out here, don’t you agree babe?
Jacob:
I agree with you. So warm out here and a nice day out to take a swim or head over to the beach. What do you say?
Courtney:
A walk on the beach sounds very lovely right about now babe. I did, however, enjoy our time in Los Angeles with my Pops and Salem. Didn’t you?
Jacob:
Oh yeah, I enjoyed that a lot. They have a nice place up there in LA. We need to visit there again when we get the chance.
Courtney walks down the steps of the back porch and over to her husband smiling.
Courtney:
I’m so ready for this next show with Redemption Fed.
Jacob:
Defending the title? You can do this babe.
Courtney:
Yes against the same nut case I defeated to become the champion in the first place. He thinks that he can defeat me for this title when he really can’t.
Jacob:
Love the attitude babe. You can do anything you set your mind too, really. Have confidence in yourself and you’ll achieve great things.
Courtney:
Oh you can bet I will. I’ll prove to him that just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean shit. I’m a Kash anyways, so I’m destined for greatness.
Jacob:
A Kash turned Steele haha. A chick made of Steele.
Courtney:
That’s hilarious baby.
Jacob:
I know, but you love me.
Courtney:
Of course I do babe.
She smiles wrapping her arm around him giving him a hug as he pulls her close to him kissing the top of her head as the scene fades away.
Scene Two
Determination
OFF SCREEN
The scene opens up to where we come across Courtney Leinart-Steele sitting down at the table with a very special yet well known person in the wrestling business. Her father, Randall Kash, who is a former wrestler from Redemption Fed. The two are sitting at a table at a nearby restaurant conversing in a personal conversation.
Randall Kash:
What’s on your mind, BabyGirl? You look like something is bothering you. Talk to me.
Courtney:
Got a lot on my plate to be honest. I worked my ass off to become the Young Lions champion in a match against Jeremy Starling and now he gets another shot at me for my title. I just don’t even know what to do or think at this point.
Randall Kash:
That’s your problem right there BabyGirl. You worry too much about the opponents and never on going out there and kicking ass like your Pops here. You’ve defeated him to get control over that title and nothing will stop you from retaining it.
Courtney lifts her head up looking at him while nodding her head in agreement because she knows that what he is stating is a true fact about her.
Courtney:
I know, I know. I’ve got to stop doing that. I’ve been improving lately now that I’ve turned heel over there and everybody has been wanting a go at me. My mindset is “You want me, come and get me” and no, I’m not mimicking John Blade.
Randall Kash:
I know you aren’t. You’re my daughter even though I’ve done what I did in the past, but I’m making up for it. Don’t let this match at all bother you. Go out there and kick some ass. Now, moving past the matter. How’s Jacob?
Courtney:
I forgive you, Pops. And you know that. Jacob is doing great. He’s so happy to be back working with WWH and I’m glad he finally found his calling. By the way, we enjoyed staying the weekend at the house.
Randall Kash:
Don’t mention it, BabyGirl. You two are more than welcome to come over and stay the weekend anytime you like. Salem loves your company. You two have always been close.
Courtney:
I enjoyed spending time with her just going out shopping and hitting up Starbucks. I’m sure Jacob enjoyed his time with you.
Randall Kash:
Oh he did. Finally got one on one time with my son-in-law. Glad you found someone that makes you happy as much as he did.
Courtney:
So am I, Pops. Thank you for being there and walking me down the aisle.
Randall Kash:
I wouldn’t have missed it for the world, BabyGirl. I love you.
Courtney:
I love you too, Pops.
The two order their food and continue their conversation as their food gets placed on the table and the scene comes to a fade.
Scene Three
Taking Pride in Everything You Do
ON SCREEN
The scene opens up to where the current Young Lions Champion, Courtney Leinart is sitting backstage with the Young Lions Championship sitting on the table in front of her as she interlocks her fingers together staring at the wall.
Courtney:
So it seems that many people have been wanting a go at me for this Young Lions championship, right? Are you all even relevant enough to even compete against me or even be in the same area as I’m in? Answer me that...or can you? This match has nothing to do with Honey, Coda, Damon Graves, Alechs, or even Lilly Parker...this is about Jeremy Starling, a guy whom I’ve defeated in the first place to gain the ownership and right to this championship and yet he thinks he’s some tough guy and wants another shot at me to see if he can win..Really? Have you at all prepared for this match? Have you? Cause I don’t think you really know or understand what you’re up against here Jeremy. I defeated you in our very first match and became champion, so what makes you think you will defeat me? What makes you think I’m ready to drop this title? Especially to someone of your kind. There’s certain aspects that you don’t know about me. My father is, Randall Kash, know him? If you don’t, than well you should be aware of him and his in-ring ability to kick the sorry asses of people who face up to him and guess what? I’m the same damn way except I add my own style to the measure. I’m a Kash, the badass female heel in Redemption fed and the Young Lions champion...what are you? I’ll tell you what you are….You’re nothing but a disgrace to the wrestling world, to those idiots who attend the show, to your parents, and to everyone you’ve ever competed against in the ring. You think you are this tough SOB? If so, then I sure as hell haven’t seen you kick ass, take names, and steal the whole damn show. I’ve kicked ass, took names, and continue to steal the whole damn show whether I win or lose. It isn’t about winning or losing, it’s about stealing the damn show and being the one whom the fans pay their money to see. They don’t pay to see you, Honey, Coda, Lilly Parker, Alechs, or any other person in this business. Sweetheart, they all pay to see me, Megan Reinhardt, and Mason Moore run this company to the greater good of things. We are the baddest people this company has ever seen and come our match tonight, you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about because there’s a surprise in store for you, my dear friend. You’ll meet a very special object known in the Kash family...cause I’ve got my own bad just like my Pops, but it’s a leopard print barb wired bat that’s going to be meeting your face and body tonight. See you out there, pumpkin.
Courtney stands up with the leopard print barb wired bat in her hand and the Young Lions championship across her shoulder and a smirk across her face as the scene slowly fades away.
