Yokohamarosai Hospital
Levi Daughterty backs out of the hospital room occupied by Redemption interviewer Hannah Lacey. He has a hint of a smile on his face as he quietly closes the door. A nurse stops him as he leaves.
“Mr. Daughterty... there are still a few things to sign...”
The smile on LJ’s face doesn't fade.
“Yes of course.”
He signs a few, all the while the few nurses are watching him, a certain awe in their faces. LJ looks up.
“What?”
The head nurse clears her throat and they all scramble.
“Don't mind them. They just think it's really sweet. Everything you have done. Being here for when she woke up... and the roses that you brought today... and now paying for her medical bills... your girlfriend sure is a lucky lady.”
LJ looks behind him at the door.
“I’m the one who's lucky.”

I have learned a lot since coming back into this business. I have learned to be a good friend. Learned how to be a better brother. How to be humble. How to swallow my pride. I have even learned that there is no better love than the unconditional love of a child who doesn't see a monster, just her big uncle Levi who gives her rides on his shoulders.
I learned to love and then to feel the stab of loss. The fear of almost losing and then the reignited sense of purpose. I learned how to pull myself back up and I learned that I have a job to do.
It is no coincidence that I am here once again. I have taken it upon myself to not be that stereotypical hero people cheer for. This isn't about glory anymore, it's about taking away the stigma that pro wrestlers are nothing but jokes or that what we do is fake. It's not about being the biggest asshole or the biggest mouth. It's not about who can cause the most destruction or strong arm innocent people into submitting. It's not about taking what you think you deserve. It's about earning what you have.
One think Maverick doesn't seem to understand is that in the grand scheme of it all, the wins or losses don't matter. He even admitted that by saying he purposely lost to get Scott’s attention. Good for you mate. I know all too well about having to pull drastic tactics to get attention, it's what you do with that attention once you have it. You see Miss Burchill may have got the win two weeks ago but the only way she could beat me was by pulling my tights. What does that say about her skills, her integrity. She puts this idea of fame and belts on that pedestal again. I still believe what I said before. It's destined to crash. As all the pedestals will here. At least RC knows what's right. He came to me last show to request a fair match. It was a fresh breath of air. It actually was one of two things that have given me more motivation. The other? Well let's just say that if anyone tries to duplicate the actions of Mikhail... they will feel the full force of the storm.
