INT. SOBA CLASS - JAPAN - 10 Days To The Battle Royal.

Honey and Alechs early morning training was over and Honey had found a small class making noodles. Alechs had a large knife cutting a block of buckwheat flour into string noodles as Honey cut spring onions and red chillis.

"This is fun, right? Takes our mind off ny battle royal and your match with Courtney"

Alechs Aurelio:
"Yeah..."

He says, seemingly on a down note after taking the loss for their team this past weekend.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I definitely need to think things out."

HONEY:
"You mean after the tag team match?"

Honey says finishing the cutting and putting them in a wooden bowl. Alechs nods.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Yeah. I am sorry... I didn't want to see you get hurt. And now it doesn't matter. You are in another match with Coda."

He lowers his head, and continues to cut the food.

HONEY:
"I'm very worried about that actually."

Honey says taking a brave step to make herself vulnerable to him by opening up

HONEY:
"I have to stay in the ring so Coda has me like a cornered mouse. And like you said this morning, I have to treat Avery as an opponent."

Alechs Aurelio:
"You have an ally in Lilly, but she is also an opponent too. It is not going to be an easy match. Just stay on the offense."

He nods, continuing to work on the food.

HONEY:
"Yes, Lilly seems very nice and she's new like us. But Alechs.."

Honey says turning to him.

HONEY:
"What if you beat Courtney? Do you think Devlin would make the title match a triple pow wow?"

Alechs Aurelio:
"Do you mean Triple Threat? And he could. But I am not fighting for a title shot. I am fighting to stop that little conceited bitch from attacking people whenever she wants."

He rolls his eyes.

HONEY:
"Alechs, language…"

"

Honey says splashing a little water at him playfully

HONEY:
"But I do appreciate you sticking up for me with her."

Alechs Aurelio:
"I want to do everything I can to make sure that you are okay."

He takes his arms, and wraps them around her.

Alechs Aurelio:
"So what are we making here?"

HONEY:
"We're going to take these and boil them in this special water." Honey says putting his snippings into the boiling water bar one noodle she droops on his nose. "And now we wait 60 seconds says the guide."

Alechs Aurelio:
"How do you know what we are making? Did you take cooking lessons or something?"

He watches her go to work.

HONEY:
"I'm generally, like good at cooking but I wanted to learn how to make Soba so I have this tutorial here…"

Honey says showing him the English translation of Soba in the magazine and chortles at his noodle.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Well you are very talented."

He leans over and kisses her on the cheek.

Alechs Aurelio:
"So are these good?"

He makes a weird face.

HONEY:
"I hope so, we have to wait a couple more seconds, can you fill a bowl of ice water, ice is there."

Honey points to the tiny little freezer while she pours out into a tiny flower bowl soy sauce and sesame oil and begins to quick fry the onions and chillies He does as asked and gets a bowl of ice water.

Alechs Aurelio:
"You are like, really into this cooking stuff? I am happy if I don't burn water."

He jokes, hopefully.

HONEY:
"I am, I did home ec at school, it was my favorite class since it wasn't all boring books, practical like wrestling is."

Honey smiles and submerges the noodles before she laughs a little.

HONEY:
"Burn water...."

And she laughs again. He nods.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I can make toast. And that is right about it. I am not a good cook at all. I never really had to cook before."

He slides the bowl towards her.

HONEY:
"And those tacos without tacos food you make with your mom, that's super nice ."

Honey says taking the noodles to drain and pulls his hand to let him hold the handle to be her assistant.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Tamales. Well I don't really cook them without her. I just help. My brothers always did more of the cooking."

He holds the handle to help.

HONEY:
"And shake"

Honey wobbles his forearm up and down to drain the water and serves it in two bowls with the oil sauce, onions and chili being poured over it as Honey stands back

HONEY:
"There, Soba! It's so wonderful you cook with her, like a nice son and mom activity."

Alechs Aurelio:
"Soba. Such a weird word."

He picks up a pair of chopsticks.

Alechs Aurelio:
"How the heck am I to use these?"

Honey pulls out a pair and sets them on her fingers and clacks them in a pinching manner.

HONEY:
"Like this, see? You balance them and use them like pinchers. Trixie says Devlin can't use them either."

He takes them and tries to grab a noodle, but they end up being dropped and falling onto the table.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Damn chopsticks. Can I just use a work?"

HONEY:
"A fork? You can"

Honey starts going at her noodles with her chopsticks, picking up a few noodles and slurping in the drag. Alechs just shakes his head as he grabs a fork and starts to slurp up some noodles.

Alechs Aurelio:
"These are.... weird."

He eats some more. Weird must somehow be good for him.

HONEY:
"Weird? Do they taste bad?"

Honey says with a little worrying tone about her cooking.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I guess I am just used to breakfast foods. And pizzas. And ramen noodles. This... it isn't bad. Just new for me. I don't get out much."

He smiles at her, making sure to put her at ease.

HONEY:
"That's an...interesting...pallete of foods. I eat, like, very different foods."

Honey says slurping another chopstick lump. He scratches his head nervously.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Yeah. I don't get out much. Been to Chinatown a couple of times. But we got that Wan- Win- that soup stuff."

He nervously laughs. Honey finishes herself another helping, leaving a little.

HONEY:
"And you called me sheltered."

Honey plays it off with a delightful chortle to his laugh.

INT. HONEY'S HOME - VEGAS - 9 Days To The Battle Royal.

ON-CAMERA

In front of the kitchen table is Franklin dressed like a Nascar driver with Honey Sunshine gear printed. Walter just shakes his head as he has just got back from work, dressed in a suit and tie.

Franklin Smith:
"This is your Honey update, our little girl has nine days to her first ever battle royal and we are so excited, proud of her. Yokohama, like Yoko Ono, Yoko-Hama , on February twelfth, Honey gets her first taste at battle royal…."

Walter:
"And championship opportunity. Yes, for you see, we have a number of people already buying tickets to Japan to see the Sunshine in the East. Why support Coda when you can support Honey and see a Young cub become a Young Lion in the near future? Buy, buy and buy the battle royal. There are two title matches and the global cup….but it's the biggest battle royal."

Franklin looks at Walter throughout with admiration, his out of character display of support over snide comments apparent to him and he stands next to him united.

Franklin Smith:
(GRITTED TEETH WHISPER)
"I'm so proud you're doing it."

Walter:
(GRITTED TEETH WHISPER)
"I am because I may or may have not thrown away your prima sweater."

Franklin goes a little wide eyed from the news.

Walter:
"See her battle royal on Sunday."

INT. ROBOT EXPO - JAPAN - 8 Days To The Battle Royal.

OFF-CAMERA

Honey enters the small robotics exposition building as she puts on her brown glasses to shield her from an unseasonably sunny day despite the weather. Honey presents two passes to the man and slowly goes inside, leading her companion: Alechs. "Look at all the nifty robots" Honey says captivated by the robot hand playing chess.

Alechs Aurelio:
"What is this place? Some sort of science museum or something?"

Alechs grabs a pamphlet, trying to make sense of where they were at.

HONEY:
"I think it's one of those convention places but instead of comic books, they have robots."

Honey pairs with him to look at the exhibits available.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Well okay. Robots sorta freak me out."

He confesses to her. It was a weird phobia.

HONEY:
"Oh, i-i uh didn't know. We can leave if you like? I just wanted to get a picture of one for Daddy, he likes that long circuits movie."

Honey says taking both of his hands and stands in front of him.

Alechs Aurelio:
"No. I am not, like, terrified of them. They just freak me out, a bit."

He laughs as it even seems silly to himself.

Alechs Aurelio:
"No worries chica. I can handle it."

HONEY:
"Ok, well you can squeeze my hand if you need to. Let's go see the one moving the chess pieces."

Honey says racing off and lugs Alechs with her as her run becomes a slow stop in front of the operator who types in the movements and she watches the hand make the knight move correctly.

HONEY:
"Its so smart!"

Alechs Aurelio:
"It's not smart. The dude is telling what the computer to do!"

He shakes his head, obviously not getting it.

HONEY:
"But it did the horsey movement. I think It's very smart."

Honey looks to him and gives him a smile, assuming he was a little frightened she reaches around to hug him with her hand. He doesn't get it, but what lady's touch would make him scowl even more?

Alechs Aurelio:
"Uh huh."

He reaches his arm around her, and watches the slow moving chess game at hand. Honey's attention span takes her to look at a robot doing some sorting, picking socks up and scanning them with its one eye before putting them in a box based on colour.

HONEY:
"Alechs, look!"

Honey points towards it.

HONEY:
"That would be a helpful robot for laundry."

Alechs Aurelio:
"And slow. I bet I could beat that robot in a sock color match race!"

He jokes, pointing down to his socks. One was gray, and the other was white.

HONEY:
"Um..I think maybe you best stick to wrestling, if you don't tie your boots together, goofy."

Honey says giving him a nudge and watches as it scans the red socks and makes whooshing sounds to turn and move as it puts the socks in the red box making Honey squeal. He smiles and laughs. He shrugs.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Oh well. What happens if like a sock is red AND blue?"

He turns towards her, as if she knows it all.

HONEY:
"Um, you would need to have two robots...I think."

Honey says putting her highly limited education of robotics to work, tapping her chin in thought.

Alechs Aurelio:
"That doesn't sound efficient at all!"

He looks around, and spots a robot shooting a basketball into a hoop over and over.

HONEY:
"It might not be, what if they.."

Honey comes to a stop on a moot point as she sees Alechs look. "You like that one?"

He shrugs yet again.

Alechs Aurelio:
"It's interesting. I like to ball."

He leads her over towards it, watching the robot flawlessly sink shot after shot.

Alechs Aurelio:
"But can he do it with a defender in his face?"

HONEY:
"Um, I don't know, like maybe? He hasn't missed yet. He's a really good shooter. Look he has a name."

Honey says looking at the head and reads.

HONEY:
"BA5K37 V12, that's a funny name. I would have called him free throw Jim."

He looks at her, and she is straight faced. He cannot hold it in, and dies laughing. He belly laughs so hard.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Free throw Jim? For a robot?"

He almost falls over.

HONEY:
"You really say what is on your mind. I love it."

Honey's eyebrows scrunch a little but she laughs along, not entirely sure why.

HONEY:
"Thank you!"

She blurts out louder than expected hearing him love something about her almost kept her attention until she saw the dancing robot.

HONEY:
"There it is!"

Alechs Aurelio:
"What the-?"

She yanks and pulls him towards it.

HONEY:
"Look! He dances"

Honey observes the robot dance, funny enough he doesn't do the robot style we all know but Honey picks up the rhythm a little and copies the robot.

HONEY:
"Join in Alechs"

Honey says clapping her hands and following along with it. He smiles, and begins to laugh. He sort of dances, but looks around to make sure that he is not being looked at.

Alechs Aurelio:
"You just cut loose. Don't you?"

HONEY:
"Yep! I think you mean break into dancing, yep."

Honey says doing the arm flail the robot does back and forth and the moonwalk. Before she finally snaps the picture of it. He shakes his head at her, and watches her.

Alechs Aurelio:
"You are so cute."

Honey smiles wide as she keeps herself going, doing a toe point tap like the robot and rolls her forearms around at her side before she joins him at his side.

HONEY:
"Thank you aaaannnd Redemption even called me a Young Cub!"

She says gleeful showing Alechs the little summary of her match on her phone.

Alechs Aurelio:
"You are a good dancer."

He smiles.

INT. HONEY'S HOME - VEGAS - 7 Days To The Battle Royal.

ON-CAMERA

Again we find at kitchen table is Franklin dressed like a Nascar driver with Honey Sunshine gear printed. Walter however is wearing a Honey Sunshine shirt drinking some coffee.

Franklin Smith:
"Honey has just won! Honey and Lilly Parker have just won the tag team match at the roadshow."

Walter:
"At least that is what Alice<3MatthewShieldMachine has reported on."

Franklin Smith:
"I love his little avatar too."

Franklin says with a wide smile, teeth newly whitened.

Walter:
"Honey has picked up another Road Show win, that is right Coda and Courtney. Honey has become a busy bee on a hot winning streak at these little road shows. She's our little champion to be."

Franklin Smith:
"Coda and Courtney just couldn't win, Lilly Parker is very good but compared to the experience Honey is getting each and every week with Avery's protégé….it's just ever so clear how Honey is the star of this match and having called a total of…"

Franklin clears his throat.

Franklin Smith (CONT'D):
"Twelve myself from commentary, these are oddly chaotic and Honey can take down everyone involved, throw them over and she will take on the defeated Courtney Leinart soon enough."

Walter turns his head a few inches towards Franklin

Walter:
(Muttering)
"Defeated?"

Franklin Smith:
"Because Alechs will beat her at the start of the show."

Walter:
(Muttering)
"Right Right."

Walter nods and Franklin turns around to point at his back with his thumb at the dates on the back of the jacket for Redemption's Japan tour. Walter huffs and points to the Yokohama one.

Walter:
(Resistant)
"Don't miss it."

INT. HOTEL ROOM - JAPAN - 5 Days To The Battle Royal.

On a rainy day Honey searched through her bag.

HONEY:
"Nope! I don't have a raincoat either."

Alechs Aurelio:
"Who needs raincoats? Don't you have a hoodie?"

He grabs a dark blue Nike hoodie with a white swoosh on it.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Need mine?"

Honey looks to him and asks to try it on as she stands in it, her head covered by the hood and her arms nowhere near long enough she scrambles the sleeves up and does one of those boy chin gestures and speaks gravely.

HONEY:
(Manly Voice Attempt)
"Sup."

He reaches and tickles her sides.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Don't you 'sup' me!"

He points to his cheek. Honey breaks her guy persona and giggles flopping the sleeves back and forth.

HONEY:
"Alechs, you can't tickle a macho guy like me"

Honey says playfully, way higher than her gravely voice was. He leans forward and grabs her on her hips, and plants a kiss.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I wouldn't do this to a macho guy either. You so funny."

The rain patters on the patio of the hotel room.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Why again did you want to go out in the rain?"

Honey smiles at the kiss, granted she had seen her dads lock lips so to her she was accepting of it either way.

HONEY:
(Manly Voice Attempt)
"I don't know, dude...I was thinking we could be chilling and that"

Honey says in one final guy huff walking with her chest puffed and arms square.

HONEY:
"Actually..I wanted to, like, go and see some nice restaurant, its old timely"

Honey says looking at the rain.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Okay. We can do that. How far is it?"

He grabs him sneakers and throws them on.

Alechs Aurelio:
"What sort of food? More weird noodles?"

He teases her, trying to get back for the guy impersonation.

HONEY:
"It's raining though, I don't want to get your.."

Honey loses sight of him after a step as her hood covers her eyes and she pulls it back.

HONEY:
"Your hoody wet."

Honey said knowing he had a limited clothing range and guy walked to him to playfully punch his arm.

HONEY:
(Manly Voice Attempt)
"Those noodles were sweet, bro"

She says teasing him back in her guy voice and even adds a loud sniff.

Alechs Aurelio:
"That is what hoodie's are made for."

He grabs her, lifting her up, and throws her over his shoulder.

Alechs Aurelio:
"You going to drop the guy attitude?"

He spins around, and slams her down on the bed.

HONEY:
"Eeeeee!"

Honey says being spun around and landing on the bed, doing the guy chin scratch despite the lack of a beard.

HONEY:
(Manly Voice Attempt)
"No way, Chica. I'm Alechs, grrr"

And she does a muscle flex sitting on the bed.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Okay. You want to play it like that?"

He looks around the room and sees a pink and yellow shirt. He grabs it and puts it on, it fitting way more tight than he thought.

Alechs Aurelio:
(FALSETO)
"Look at my chica, I am Honey. La de da!"

Honey looks at him with her mouth open but covered with her hand sleeves at him. She gets off the bed and decides to do Joey from Friends

HONEY:
(Manly Voice Attempt)
"How you doin'"

Alechs tries to keep it cool, but ends up dying laughing.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Are we going to this restaurant or not?"

He pulls her shirt back off. And puts his white and black shirt back on.

HONEY:
"Yes, we can, but my treat since I get to borrow this."

Her little excitement leap to his hands.

HONEY:
"La-de-da"

Alechs Aurelio:
"Fine."

He heads up to the door, and tosses her shoes to her to put on.

Honey puts her booties on and straps them as she gets him to the desk when she drags out her hand to try and hail a cab with sleeves hanging down. A cab comes by and finally pulls up, a big puddle on the ground right between them. Alechs steps forward and grabs the door.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Jump!"

Honey instinctively jumps at him as requested. He catches her.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I meant into the car silly."

He slides her into the cab and gets in after her.

HONEY:
"Thank you!"

Honey says as she puts her seatbelt on and hands the driver instructions to go to the location.

HONEY:
"Now this restaurant is very old timey but we get a complimentary bowl of rice, and they do these cute little cubes of beef with a stir fry I saw, I'm ordering that."

Alechs Aurelio:
"I will just order whatever you are ordering."

He holds her hand.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I trust you."

The rain is coming down harder as the wiper's on the car go back and forth quickly.

HONEY:
"I trust you also, like, thank you for helping me practice battle royal stuff...Coda said you're not there to protect me now."

Honey says showing him the exact tweet as he wasn't on Twitter.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Yeah. I don't know how that Twitter thing works."

He admits, honestly.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I have faith in you. We've trained harder than ever. Just be confident."

HONEY:
"I will! I have been talking lots about my battle royal."

They slowly pull up to the address and Honey passes the driver the money.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Yeah? I have faith in you. And you can work together with Lilly too!"

The exit the cab and he follows her. Honey takes him by hand as they enter the restaurant, Honey shows him her brand new white sunglasses as they head inside, but not before she says.

HONEY:
"Lilly seems like she's a super nice girl, I like her"

INT. HOTEL ROOM - JAPAN - 3 Days To The Battle Royal.

Alechs, unsure what to do, knocks on the door.

Alechs Aurelio:
"You okay in there?"

HONEY:
"I'm fi-"

But then another sound of upchuck comes hurling through the door as Honey has another bit of it.

Alechs is still wearing a plain t-shirt and shorts as he woke up to the sound of a sick Honey

Alechs Aurelio:
"Can I get you something? Orange ju-"

And before he finishes, another sound of hurling. Honey sits back on her knees quite pale and uses one of the hand towels to mop her mouth up.

HONEY:
"A glass of water.."

Honey says a little weak after the last hurl and spits into the bowl once more, going out of the bathroom to be greeted by a bottle of water, Honey reaches out to grab it and uses the first gulp as mouthwash to spit in the sink before swallowing her next sip.

HONEY:
"Thank you, Alechs"

Alechs Aurelio:
"You okay? What got you so sick?"

He checks the time. 6:30am. It is quite early.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Have you been sick all night?"

He looks concerned.

HONEY:
"Just a little bit, I didn't want to wake you but it's been on and off a bit, like, I've had a few hours sleep but then woke up with a really upset stomach.."

Honey says giving her best possible smile with a little lack of colour in her face.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Okay. You need to get into bed."

He makes up the bed quickly and sets it up for her.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Whatever you need. Please say so."

HONEY:
"Ok"

Honey walks with no saunter or grace, dragging her feet as she gets to the bed.

HONEY:
"So you're going to nurse me back to health?"

Alechs Aurelio:
""I'll be your nurse. Whatever you need."

She lays in bed and he covers her up.

INT. HOTEL ROOM - JAPAN - 2 Days To The Battle Royal.

Alechs gets out of the bathroom, his hair wet as he wears shorts and no shirt. He looks down.

Alechs Aurelio:
"What's that? Some weird candy?"

Honey smiles, spending her little walk home from mean Matthew's training, she helped herself to a shop visit and found strawberry kit kats, thinking of Trixie and herself and Alechs she bought herself the one and tried it before buying practically the shelf as she opens her bag open wide for a pile of kit kats.

HONEY:
"They're strawberry flavoured and they're pink instead of the yummy brown, did-"

Honey then notices the lack of shirt which Matthew hadn't worn either turning training.

HONEY:
"Um, is it national shirtless day?"

Alechs Aurelio:
"Oh, sorry..."

Alechs reaches into his bag for a shirt.

Alechs Aurelio:
"How was training? Shields is an interesting... guy. Did you learn much?"

HONEY:
"I got thrown over the ring a lot but he showed me how to throw people over effectively too. And it's, like, ok. You don't need to wear one when you swim because, like, you're not body conscious...I think."

Honey says in a little wonder, the platform set to find out if he was at all insecure though she didn't think so considering he casually would walk out like that.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Body conscious?"

He shakes his head no. He tosses his shirt to the side as he grabs a keycard.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I am ready for the pool, chica."

HONEY:
"Ok!"

Honey says grabbing the towels for them both and they head up as Honey and him walk side by side through a little bit of a busy pool, Honey had taken the keycard into her little bag and casually swings her hips to bump Alechs into the pool while she puts the bags down chortling to herself. He falls into the pool and creates a big splash. Honey puts her bag down and looks towards the pool, but does not see Alechs. She gets close to the edge as he jumps up from the water, and grabs her pulling her in. Honey sails into water and goes underneath it with him needing air she comes up first and brushes her hair back to see him come up, after she had changed out of her clothes into her blue one piece.

HONEY:
"You got me."

And Honey needs to swim to get her body warm so does her paddle to the side, signalling him to follow to do widths with her so she can warm up. He keeps up with her, stroke for stroke. He took to the water like a fish.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Keep up slow poke!"

Honey takes it easy breezy, specifically wanting relaxing swimming but she entertains the idea of swimming side by side, not prepared to show off her swimming she'd done since a little girl where Trixie was more of a cross-country runner, Honey did swimming while both had done gymnastics as a hobby.

HONEY:
"I'm trying."

Honey says swimming up to him with ease.

HONEY:
"Too bad, like, you couldn't face Courtney in a swimming match, you might beat her."

He starts to laugh.

Alechs Aurelio:
"I will beat her. Just like you will walk away with a title shot! I just know it."

He continues to swim.

Alechs Aurelio:
"You.. are confident you will win. Yes?"

Honey nods as she reaches the side.

HONEY:
"Mmhmm, Honey promise"

Trying to do a cross on her heart, Honey dips underwater as she lets go of the side. He grabs her and pulls her up.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Got you!"

He looks around, and steals a kiss to her cheek.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Have you talked with Lilly about working together?"

Honey blinks during the kiss to bat the water away and holds onto the side.

HONEY:
"Um...no, I mean we did team up on the Road Show so it was, like, fun to team with her."

Alechs Aurelio:
"Good. Use that. In a Battle Royale, work together to make sure that is comes down to the both of you. I know that you can do it."

He holds her at her waist as she kicks her legs out in the water.

HONEY:
"I plan to, she's really nice, I think she could, like be part of our friend group maybe, if you want to?"

Honey paddle kicks her legs, letting little ripples flow away as her wigglie toes come up to show her plain, unpainted nails.

Alechs Aurelio:
"Sure. I think I'd be fine with that. We could always use more friends."

He smiles, still holding her.

Alechs Aurelio:
"More backup. Right?"

HONEY:
"Yes, with people like the Black Line District and stuff we kinda need to be careful, thanks for having my back with Coda as well."

Honey kicks off to swirl around with him holding her in a princess carry.

Alechs Aurelio:
"No matter what, I will be there to protect you as much as I can."

He smiles.

INT. HOTEL ROOM - JAPAN - 2 Days To The Battle Royal.

The camera films Alechs Aurelio's chin and mouth as he holds a camera phone and seems enchanted by Honey who has dressed up in a kimono, a vibrant seafoam blue one.

HONEY:
"It's two more days, I get to face Alechs' friend, Lilly who's new and…Coda…who can't have chocolate or cookies.
