Scene 001
January 26, 2017 - Off Camera
"Um.... can I talk to you about something? I am a little worried for our match.... Coda... did you see what she did two weeks ago?"
"Yes, I..did"
Honey says with a small gulp and not swallowing water, her relaxed approach now goes to a little more closed stance with her shoulders tight together.
"I'm worried she will do the same...to me."
"I want to make sure to protect you. I want you to be careful, and make sure to be on the lookout. Okay?"
He looks at her, placing his hands on her hips. Honey nods a little faster than usual.
"I can be on the lookout, like, I can be watching out for that Coda girl."
Honey says resting her hands on his forearms. He hugs her.
"I will do whatever I can to protect you. Okay?"
He kisses her forehead.
"And I will too. I know I'm smaller and not as steely on the arms like your guns but I can take down a guy twice my size so I'll have your back if you, like, have mine"
Honey hugs him back but kissing his forehead was out of the question until she did a little jump with water buoyancy on her side to kiss him on his forehead and pushing on his shoulders to do it. He kisses her forehead back.
"I appreciate it, but I will definitely do everything in my power to protect you. I told Avery that. And I told your dads that too. Nothing will ever stop me."
Honey can't help but look over her shoulder either side masking her smile until she turns to face him with a bigger one
"That's like so nice of you to say, Alechs. I have the best tag team partner ever."
Honey says wrapping her arms around his waist for a hug. He hugs her back as they embrace in a nice quiet moment. He whispers.
"Whatever it takes."
Scene 002
February 2nd, 2017 - On Camera
A giggle is heard as the video begins.
“Honey, if you are going to be recording me, you gotta stop with the giggles!”
“Sorry, Alechs!”
“It’s okay.”
He reaches off camera, likely to hold her hand.
“I want to first take a moment to say sorry to Honey. I wanted to make sure that she was protected, but I went too far and lost us the match.”
He wrinkles his face as he takes a breath.
“But she has to get back inside of that ring with Coda this week. And there is nothing that I can do about it. I just need to have faith in her, and trust that she can handle her own.”
“I will!”
She says off camera. He chuckles.
“It all comes full circle though. Honey is a part of a match for a shot at my opponent next Glory. Courtney Leinart. The Young Lions Champion. The same person that lost last week to Lilly Parker. I intend of duplicating that result, and show exactly why Courtney is not exactly what she thinks she is.”
He relaxes his face, as his demeanor turns a bit more serious.
“I have seen Courtney come out and try and assault her opponents the last two shows; Honey and Lilly. I have taken it upon myself to stand up against this bully and to make sure that she knows what she is doing is not right. I know that people like Honey and Lilly can defend themselves, but when they need to be blindsided that is when it take it upon myself to stand up. I’ve dealt with little girls like Courtney all my life, and I know how to deal with them. They think they are so hard when they have the odds in their favor. But when the tables are turned, they run away like a scared little girl. I will beat Courtney in Yokohama, and then Honey will win her match and beat Courtney for the title. The Young Lion Champion will be put her in place by the Young Cubs. And we will see who the King of the Jungle really is.”
