Once distorted noises hit the PA system, the lights flickered. Darkness enveloped the arena aside for a few rogue spotlights cast over the enthusiastic crowd. Every pair of eyes gazed towards the stage while the heavy guitar of "Break Out" by The Letter Black underscored the emotion throughout the building. Once the inspirational voices finally joined the rhythmic drum beats and the shredding guitar, the crowd erupted as Kenzie Rydell walked out onto the stage with a wistful smile on her face.

Standing on the stage wearing an open bomber jacket over her ring gear, she took a few short moments to bask in the atmosphere. Fixing her stance, she straightened her back and swung her hips to the side. With a simple smirk, she exuded as much confidence as she could, bright hazel hues scanning across all the people in attendance tonight. Visage set towards the ring ahead, she walked forward, her stride strong as ever. Looking to her side, she pointed towards the cheap seats, letting their cheers rain down as she neared the ring with every step.

A brief weary expression crossed her features once she stopped in her tracks, standing at the bottom of the isle. With a deep breath, she took her time walking towards the steel steps. One after the other, she shot the crowd another proud grin, listening to them making their voices heard as she reached the top of the steps. The young Muay Thai specialist walked across the apron, her palm clutching the top rope until she got to the middle. Turning to face the crowd towards the stage, she spread her arms like a phoenix and rested her elbows on the top rope, the sides of her mouth curling upward yet again as she heard the crowd's reaction intensify. Turning around, she climbed over the second rope and entered the ring, spinning a couple of times in one graceful movement before lifting her arms for the crowd's approval. Heading towards her corner, she took off her jacket and gave it to someone outside the ring. Back in her corner, she bounced back and forth on the heels of her boots, preparing herself while the song faded into audio obscurity.

On her hands, black Everlast fingerless grappling gloves make it easier to fight and she makes it a point to tie her hair up in a ponytail before the bell rings. On the way to the ring, she wears an open bomber jacket over her ring gear. Sometimes that jacket can have patches that fit the current context sewn into the fabric, and it varies between colors like black, tan, brown, red, etc.

** Brief Character Bio -
Growing up in a military family, Kenzie soon trained under the legendary White Phoenix at his wrestling school. Throughout the years, she's openly accepted advice and training from everyone from Adrien Cochrane to Sasha Foote to even Justin Brooks. With that combined talent, her potential rises by the day, and she still remains loyal to the NGW moniker.

Kenzie was the second longest reigning NGW Five Lakes Champion and within the first six months of her rookie year, had the chance to defeat Gavin Grimes in an attempt to become both NGW Five Lakes Champion and NGW Unified Heavyweight Champion at the same time. Unfortunately, it wasn't her time, and the next week, she lost the Five Lakes Championship as well. 

She has been relatively inactive since her appearances in NGW many months ago, and now that she's starting a new beginning, she's looking to start her sophomore year right by getting her Redemption.

1. leg lariat
Also referred to as a jumping leg lariat or a running calf kick, Kenzie runs towards her an opponent, jumps and wraps her leg around the opponent's head/neck knocking the opponent to the ground. Followed by the springboard moonsault.
2. springboard moonsault
running into a springboard moonsault knee drop across a supine opponent from the middle rope using both knees. This is used in succession to the leg lariat. It is noted for its beauty to some.

1. Jackknife - A jackknife kick to a standing opponent after a wake-up taunt. It can be applied as the finale of a striking combo, during a sprint, or out of nowhere, but after a wake-up taunt is the most practical. Consider this a powerful superkick variation.
2. Phoenix Deathlock - Indian Deathlock, in whichever form fits the situation. It can be transitioned, or even wrenched for increased effect. Preferably, Kenzie is on her back while her opponent is in a prone position.
