Hello Redemption fans, and welcome to The Redemption Wrapup. In this issue we will talk a bit about The Global Cup, we'll show you the latest ratings, and we'll go over a few of the latest rumors around the world that is Redemption. But, first I sat down with Redemption Superstar Jeremy Starling moments before he defeated Aurora Graves to advance to the second round of the Global Cup.
Remington: First of all thank you for agreeing to the interview, I know you must be extremely busy. So, I'll get right to it. You claim that you are born better, would you care to elaborate just what exactly that means?
Starling: Seriously? Are there no competent interviewers on the Redemption payroll? How do you think it sounds? I am the greatest talent on the Redemption roster! I have more talent in an eyelash than the half the roster can dream of having and I've had this talent since I was gestating in the womb. Is that quite clear for you? I am born better!
Remington: Yet you always seem to fall just short when the title is on the line. I guess the next logical question is why do you feel you're just not able to get the belt?
Starling: As I've said, there is no one person greater than me and the thing is every match I have been in hasn't just been one opponent. I've had to put up with biased officiating from the referees. And no doubt they were acting under orders from Devlin Scott himself as he seems to be intent to keep down his greatest talent because he knows that my success would mean I would be beyond his control. But as Living Greatness, I will eventually overcome this setback.
Remington: So, would you say that's your motivation to keep going? If not, what exactly is?
Starling: That is a piece to the puzzle, but if my sole motivation was to rub it in Devlin's face that would eventually leave me without purpose in the ring. No my biggest motivation is to defeat all who come my way and prove that I am simply the best, the best in this business and the best in my family.
Remington: Now, you've signed up for the Global Cup. Right away you are tasked with facing Aurora graves, how do you see this match going for you?
Starling: Aurora Graves, our newest half of the tag team champs. Did you know I already pinned one half of the former tag team champs, Daisy Rose Tucker? If Aurora could barely handle something that I took care of without breaking a sweat, what chance does that tattooed, pompous blonde who couldn't even run a tattoo parlor without burning it to the ground, possibly stand against someone worth multi-billions of dollars with all the talent that I just laid out at the beginning of this inane interview? Allow me to answer for her and you before your collective heads explode from trying to process that much information. The answer is a resounding no chance!
Remington: Let's say for arguments sake you do as you say, and advance. You'll be fighting either Ezrynn or Spike Steel. Do you have a preference in opponent there?
Starling: Not at all. Because the result will be the same regardless. If it's some crazy partying lady or some washed up has-been who has delusions of making some grandreturn, they will never be a match for me.
Remington: Current champion Matt Shields is a participant. There is a chance you two could possibly meet, non title of course. But, if you do beat him, do you think this would put you in line for a one on one title match?
Starling: The thought had occurred to me. Shields and I have had an interesting time of keep each other at arm's length since he decided to attack me early in my career. Allow me to assuage any doubts that if Shields and I should make it to facing each other, he too will fall for me just as the rest will in this tournament.
Remington: I think that's about all the questions I have Mr. Starling. Do you have any parting thoughts, or words?
Starling: Only that after I win the Global Cup, I expect to be given the respect and recognition that I deserve as Living Greatness and the champion Redemption needs.
Remington: Thank you for your time Mr. Starling, I wish you the best of luck in The Global Cup.
Speaking of The Global Cup, let's take a look at the match ups for next round.
We just saw Jeremy Starling in the hot seat, so it's only fitting we start the tourney break down with him. He'll be going up against member of the Black Light District, Spike Steel. This is looking to be a violent affair, and in my personal opinion Sterling has this match up in the bag. He's on a roll, and I don't see any reason that roll should stop now.
Next up we have another District guy, some may even call him THE District guy, that's right I'm talking Mikhail Reinhardt going toe to toe with Caroline O'Hara Burchill. This may seem like a lopsided affair, but if Caroline wins it, it wouldn't be the first time she surprised Redemption.
Yujiro Fujiwara taking on Matthew Shields in Japan, take a moment, let it sink in. Done? If you aren't excited as hell for this match, then you my friend have no pulse. This match is going to be beyond epic, and as a matter of fact I am going to call this an early contender for Match of the Year. People will be talking about this one for awhile to come, and for damn good reason.
Finally, we'll see LJ Daughtery and Lilly Parker in the spotlight, one could say both of these talents pulled pretty big upsets in the first round. LJ defeated Avery Mills III who, if you don't know is the REIGNING Rey de Reyes Champion "down south"; he was slated as a favorite early on. Meanwhile, Lilly defeated Genesis Champ Trixie. This match is looking like a battle between champ killers, and I am loving it.
Speaking of Champions, and those who could be in line to beat them. It's time to take a look at Redemption's current title scene.
We start with the Heavyweight Title, or as I'm calling it Shields Championship Title
Our current Champ, is the only man who has been able to call the Heavyweight strap his own, Matthew Shields. But, just how long can he hold onto glory, and who will snatch it from his grasp?
1. A man I just recently talked about in the Global Cup breakdown, LJ Daughtery. With his last win, he's shown he has what it takes to take out a champion, but Shields isn't your run of the mill title holder.
2. Mikhail Reinhardt, what can I say about this guy? He's big, he is brutal, and I've heard he has a kick that is just unrivaled. I won't lie, I've seen these two guys going back and forth on social media, if the match is anything like they say it would be let's just hope nobody gets in their way.
3. Yujiro Fujiwara, we actually get to see this go down first hand this week. I said it once, and I will say it again this will be a can't miss match up. If you can't see this as it airs, please do yourself a favor and set your DVRs, because I assure you, it will be the talk of the wrestling world.

Next up, The New Generation Championship recently won by Martin Karloff. Karloff is looking to be in top form, and I don't think he is going to give this belt up without a fight. But, there will be fights, so let's see who we've got on deck to take on the champ.
1. Caroline O'Hara Burchill, who we already know has what it takes to dethrone a champion. But, I have to say Karloff is an altogether different animal than Trixie.
2. Next on the list is Silas Subhuman, can't say I care for the man, but he's shown week in and week out he can and will fight tooth and nail. The question remains however, will Silas be able to move past Caroline to get to that number one spot? If so, how many members of his "Family" is he bringing with him?
3. And last, but certainly not least Giovanna Mancini. Giovanna's bio may read like Jersey Shore, but her moves read more like pain. It may be easy to over look this young woman, but I'm telling you right now that would be a pretty big mistake on anyone's part.
* * * * *
This brings us to The Genesis Championship, currently held by Trixie. I have to say, I've taken time to talk to this woman, and she is one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. She is still a champ however, and that means she's bound to know her way around a ring.
1. 12 year vet Anton Chase is first up, he's ready for his shot and if he has his say he'll be wearing a brand new belt home. He may have to snake his way to the belt, but he also has the right skill set to take it cleanly.
2. Alicia Hixx is next on the contender's list, the leader of Team B.A.D. is no slouch. This Boston Breed Beauty would like nothing more than to face off against Trixie, and if she continues to climb the rankings she may just get her chance.
3. Lastly, Spike Steel words can't describe to what lows this guy would stoop to get his hands on Trixie. The District's cannibal has been known to literally sink his teeth into the competition, he may be at the bottom of this list, but he's one of the last guys I would want to square off against.

Moving on to the Young Lions Championship, our champ here is Courtney Leinart, a wrestler who lives for her fans, and do they ever love to see her sporting the Young Lions Title. But, she's got some pretty stiff competition, so let's take a look.
1. Jeremy Starling, the man I had a sit down with not that long ago. He's brash, arrogant, and a little self centered. But, he more than backs his words up in that ring. He says he's just "Born Better" and he's shown that he is better than many here in Redemption
2. Next we have a competitor who has to be the most happy go lucky person I've had the pleasure of seeing, that's right I'm talking about Lilly Parker. Could we be looking at our next Young Lion's Champion, or will her naive nature land her in hot water? Only time will tell.
3. Perfect Chaos RC Tucker, this guy may not be all there upstairs, but it doesn't mean he doesn't posses fighting spirit. He's also quite cunning, look for this young man to be a breakout in the division.

We've come to our last title, and yes I'm talking Tag Belts. Rebel Ink is sitting atop the tag team mountain, but they may have a few teams that want to play king of the hill, and dethrone them.
1. Radicalliance, this has got to be one of, if not the best tag teams around. They work great together as a team, and they've shown that when the pressure is on they don't get shaken up. Look for them to make a big splash in the tag scene.
2. The team everyone loves to hate, The Black Light District. When these guys enter a match, you're never quite sure what version of them you'll be facing, and with the recent addition of Luke Knux, I'd say anything is possible.
3. A fairly new addition to Redemption, but a talented one none the less. These ladies call themselves The Terror Twins. Ezrynn and Illiya have youth on their sides, while that may hinder them in some places, it certainly makes the longevity of the team a lot more appealing. It woulnd't shock me if they shot up to number one in no time at all.
It's time to talk rumors, not normally my favorite thing in the world to do, but I'm paid to do it.
There have been rumblings going around about an all female tournament, if this is true it would make for some good wrestling.

Devlin Scott, Redemption owner, is believed to be currently engaged in an affair. Now, I can not confirm this. On which case, this info should be taken with a grain of salt.
* * * * *
Randal Kash is said to have his eyes set firmly on Brawler, supposedly even saying he'd take him on in a loser wears a mask match.
* * * * *
Speaking of matches, if rumors are true we could be seeing one half of the tag champions Aurora Graves issuing a challenge to current Heavyweight Champion Matthew Shields. Could Aurora soon be a dual champ? Only time will tell.

Finally tonight, Devlin Scott is believed to be working closely with a current Redemption Champion. This secret alliance has many wondering, just which title holder, and how deep is this bond?
I'd like to thank you all for reading. This wraps up The Redemption Wrapup, I'm Remington Boucher, wishing you all the best.
