Xavier Cain: This is my last opportunity.
Xavier Cain sighs as he is in the locker room. He looks at the camera and shakes his head, he is already in his wrestling gear. He reaches down and finishes tying up his boots and closes his eyes.
Xavier Cain: Anton Chase has been beating everyone in his way for the Genesis Title. When the odds are stacked against him he steps up and he defends the title. He has gotten stronger every time he has defended the title and it is something that is to behold.
He has beaten me but that was when Jeremy Sterling had to take me out before the match. I am not sure it would have been different if I was 100 percent but in that moment I believe that I showed Chase something, I feel that I showed him that no matter what was thrown at me that I would get up and compete. I hope that with that I felt I had earned his respect in that match. I wish I did but if I didn’t I feel that if I win this match or at least do something that gets me even close to the win then I will earn the respect of him. I know that Chase is good and he has proven it time and time again by defending that title. But sometimes the end of the road happens and I hope I am the one that ends it but with that other people want to end it as well.
Yujiro Fujiwara is one of those people that can end it, he is good as well and I have seen him in that ring and he would be a great Genesis champion as well but I cannot let him win either. As much as I would be happy for him I don’t want him to win that title. I want to be the one that holds it high.
Then finally we have Trixie and well we all know who Devlin Scott wants to win. We all know what she has done with Anton Chase dressing up as Santa Claus and attacking him. Chase wants to beat her probably the most out of all of us. Chase wants to show Devlin that propping her up as much as he has, has hurt the company. But there lies the problem as well because if he focuses too much on her Yujiro and I could do something big and that is create an upset.
He smiles a bit and then shakes his head.
Xavier Cain: I want to be a champion in this company I have worked my tail off for this and yes there has been slip ups. But that is what life is you have these slip ups that you try and fix, there are lessons that you look at and understand. I learned a lesson in my personal life and I grew from it and I created a new personal life, and with that it has made me stronger and I want to make her proud and to do that I have to bring gold home.
He smiles once more, he gets up and walks towards the door.
Xavier Cain: I’m one step from being a champion and I want to take the final step and hold the title high above my head. I just need to do it, and get rid of the slip ups and raise my head high and become the champion that I deserve to be.
He nods his head and opens the locker room door as he walks off.
