The scene opens with Dead Eye and Cheyenne sitting on the couch after finishing Miracles from Heaven, a movie they rented from the local Redbox. The movie was a “touchy feely” family type movie, a “tear-jerker”. That said, Dead Eye couldn't help but notice that it seems as though Chey has something on her mind. He turns and grabs her hand.
CJ: “Everything okay, babe? Did the movie get to you or summin?”
He chooses to ask that question in order to somewhat break the ice and see how she'll answer that before proceeding.
Chey: "Nothing’s wrong, really. I just wanted to talk to you about something. It's nothing bad.."
She adjusts herself to where she's facing him. With his hand in hers she looks him in the eyes.
Chey: "So.. You know.. With a baby on the way.. things are going to change. Some changes will be small.. Others will be big.. I guess I'm just nervous about some of the bigger changes."
He nods, understandingly.
CJ: “I get that. We're both about to experience something neither of us has before, and in sure we're bound to stumble here and there. I think we'll do well. What is it specifically that's got you right now?”
He takes his right hand and lightly rubs the top of the hand he is holding.
Chey: "Well, I actually wanted to ask you this before. I only didn't because we hadn't been dating that long, but I guess now is as good a time as any.”
She is very nervous at this point, and it shocks her a little because she's normally not the nervous type.
Chey: "So what I want to ask is.. Do you want to move in with me?"
He sits there for a moment as the question catches him a bit off-guard. After all, things have been moving quite quickly. Nonetheless, they do feel right.
CJ: “So, that's what you were nervous about?”
She nods sheepishly before answering.
Chey: "I know it's a lot to ask; it's a huge step. But again, with this baby coming.. We'd eventually be making this big change anyway, right? So, I just figured, what's wrong with right now."
He nods.
CJ: “We are going to be a family, right?”
CJ immediately smiles after asking the rhetorical question. Chey returns said smile.
CJ: “I'd have to buy-out the lease on my apartment, but I knew that was a possibility when I signed the lease. It's really why I chose an apartment. I knew it was temporary…just not how temporary. Just one question before I say ‘yes’, what side of the bed you tryna claim?”
Chey laughs as a sign of relief.
Chey: "I get the right side of the bed, and some of the left.."
She looks at him and laughs, knowing she's not actually joking.
Chey: "Seriously though, I take up alot of bed space. And I have to warn you now, I sleep with the TV on.. It's a habit I just can't seem to break."
He shrugs.
CJ: “It's all good. In a few months, I'm sure you'll be taking up most of the bed. So, have you thought of any potential names yet?”
Chey: "Actually I have thought about names..but could use help on boy names. My girl names so far are: Ma'leah Annalyse, MaeLynn Rose, and Kinslee Paige.
I have thought of boys names too but, would like to see what you come up with for those. So, do you like any of my girl names?"
He thinks for a moment.
CJ: “Interesting names. I like Ma’leah, nothing against the other two. If you're good with it, if we have a son, I'd like to keep the family tradition going. I do have an idea on that. Since my dad gave me a different middle name, maybe if we do have a boy, his middle name can be Ernesto?”
Chey: "That sounds good to me, babe. I still can't believe this is real. It feels like I'm dreaming.”
She sits back and sighs.
Chey: "I just thought of all the things we have to do.. Before the baby even gets here. Like painting and decorating the nursery."
Chey is getting that nervous look on her face again.
CJ: “We have time. Besides, we don't even know exactly how far along you are just yet. We got this, though. I tell ya what. I'll talk to my apartment manager tomorrow and start packing things this week. We'll have to figure out where I can put my trophies and stuff, though. You sure you're ready for this step?”
Chey: "I have a shelf for trophies, two actually. You can have one for yours. We can put it in the smallest bedroom and turn it into a trophy room. I'd like that. Then, the baby's nursery will be the room closest to ours. I am ready for this."
Chey leans in for a soft kiss.
Chey: "I am more than ready, love."
CJ: “I am, too, Chey. Trust me, I am.”

The scene resumes with Dead Eye standing in his apartment packing some things in a box. He looks at the camera.
Dead Eye: “One of my favorite game series growing up was Mortal Kombat.”
He smiles as if reminiscing.
Dead Eye: “Of course, we had to play it secretly at a friend's house cuz my moms hated MK. That's beyond the scope of where I'm going with this. You could play the single-game mode or play against a friend. Either way, each fight was a best-of-three rounds contest.
“If you lost round one; then, round two was very pivotal if you wanted to have any chance of winning the fight. Our profession isn't always like that, but there have been countless classics that have been fought in this style. When I think of a classic series — although I know it was seven — I automatically think of Booker T and Chris Benoit.”
He pauses for a moment.
Dead Eye: “Again, beyond the scope of where I'm going, but I'd like to hope the gist has been picked up on. I relate this to my upcoming Wrestle Force match. A few weeks ago, I lost to Aurora Graves, a match I thought was a one-off. That clearly was not the case.”
Dead Eye sighs.
Dead Eye: “Now, I know this hasn't been defined as a best-of-three, but I can't help but feel like this is Round Two and that I must win this round. If nothing else, I must win it for my career. Coming back and start losing my first six matches was, in no way, what I envisioned to be my reality.
“Remember, I came into this company and set the world on fire, becoming a hot commodity for this company and the wrestling scene, in general. Companies were seeking my services, regardless of the fact that I was a full timer here. I had success here and elsewhere, actually picking up my first title for a completely different company.”
The elevation in his voice shows how much the first run means to him and fuels the fire of wanting to return to that form. It only takes a hold of him for a few moments as Dead Eye returns to the present.
Dead Eye: “So, to come back and lose the first six, I don't see how I can possibly suffer the same fate this Sunday. This, in no way, is a slight to Aurora. History shows that, in our one and only time facing each other, she came out the victor. That's a fact I'm well aware of, and I'm not discounting it.
“I spent some time discussing her track record here in our last encounter, so I won't do it again. However, I'll add the fact that she is now one half of the tag Champs to that résumé. I have my work cut out for me, no doubt.
“I will point out another fact. Subtracting my hesitation in hitting Adrien with a Pélé, I had my best showing since my return. To hold up like I did against one of the best in this business shows just how far I've come since returning. It also shows that I'm back.
“‘But Dead Eye, you didn't beat Adrien. How can you say that?’ Easily, that's how. I could have once again finished the match, but I missed out on an opportunity to capitalize. Being one of the best, Adrien took advantage of the opportunity and did what I couldn't. Being as close as I have at points in these last two matches shows the progression I've made.
“Now, I know what I have to do. Talking about Adrien makes me think about something close to his wheelhouse, so I'll borrow a line from Sean Payton in #FinishStrong. That's what I MUST do against Aurora Graves. This is what I MUST do in order to win, to ‘seal the deal’, if you will.
“To win Round Two, I have to be the type of shark I was when I originally came here. I have to return to that form. I've allowed emotions and fears to control me in the ring. I've woken up from this. Adrien yelled at me to give him my best. I can't settle for anything but that.”
He defiantly shakes his head.
Dead Eye: “So, Aurora and I have a link with the twins and being in their lives. Contrary to what I've done recently with Avery and Adrien, I won't let this stand in my way. In that ring, she will be my opponent. Afterward, we can go back to whatever manner of friendship we have, if that's how it can be defined. Round Two, I'm bringing the fight and overcoming these pile of losses.”
He shuts off the feed.
