“This is not what you asked for. This is not what you wanted. But this is what you will get.”
The camera opens on Austen Blackwell as he is inside a gym. He has a rope in either hand and he is alternating each rope with one lifting as the other drops. He grits his teeth as he counts down the seconds.
“Ten”
“Nine”
“Eight”
“Seven”
“Six”
“Five”
“Four”
“Three”
“Two”
“One”
“And done.”
He drops the ropes, squeezing his hands as his arms are obviously on fire. He is preparing himself to get into better shape. Mentally he has always been top notch, and he is working on doing better physically. He is eating better. Working out more. Swimming more. And just taking care of his body. He exhales deeply as he shakes his arms out.
“Unscripted is this weekend. I get a chance to write what was wronged of me. I was cost the Long Beach Championship last time I took Remi on. Now? I was granted the chance to win it again. And this is just the start of things. I am honored and thrilled to be a part of NGW’s WrestleForce 2 in the Trials and Tribulations III match. How crazy is that? Plus, Crossroad: Spotlight is next month as well. The next six or so weeks is going to be nuts. It all starts this weekend. I take on both Remi and Sela. And boy has things changed in the last few days on the Remi front.”
Austen cracks his neck and takes a long swig from his water bottle.
“I saw what you did, Remi. The way you turned on Adam. You are nothing but a traitor. And as long as you have played this little plan close to your heart, you are no different than Jimmy Pagan. He pretended to be something he was not. Someone he was not. You are cut from the same cloth as he. You both are pathetic. And it is sad that you both had to trick people. It is what it is, and I have the power to make you pay; by taking that championship. And Sela… she and I have shared some words. She thinks that I do not have it in me to withstand whatever she has planned. I know that coming into this match there are no rules. It could be something brutal. I know that Sela enjoying playing predator. She enjoys being on the offensive. That may work for her normally, but this match? This match? Nuh uh. This is my match to win. This is my championship to win. And the both of you are just spectators. I’ve never been more ready. I have taken what I’ve learned in my short wrestling career. I’ve improved. I’ve worked my ass off. And I earned this title shot. Neither of you will take that away. It does not matter if it is pinning Sela or pinning Remi… I will win the match. Period.”
