A highlight reel of Austen Blackwell winning the Long Beach Championship at Unscripted. The crowd cheers as the cameras move backstage. Austen is holding up his Long Beach Championship as he is getting ready to be interviewed by Mia Bala. As he does, a familiar face steps in to the picture.

Austen: Alechs Aurelio.

The crowd pops for the recently unmasked NGW superstar.

Alechs: Nice to see ya, champ. I wanted to take a trip out to the Best Coast, and check out the digs my brother is working towards. Last time I was here, I was on my way out. But you know… it’s a breath of fresh air. Mercedes runs a tight ship. And you? You got some talent man.

Austen looks at his title and smiles, looking back at Alechs.

Austen: Thanks, man. I always was a fan of The Guardians. You. Adrien. Inspirational to me.

Alechs: Thanks, AB.

Austen: And facing Jazmyn was amazing. Perhaps one day we will face off?

Alechs: Maybe I can show you a thing or two.

Austen: Oh, I am sure. But you gotta tell me… what’s it like traveling the world?

Alechs pauses as he thinks it over for a moment.

Alechs: Nothing like it. When it is your time, you need a travel buddy to show you the way? You hit me up. Good luck out there tonight!

Alechs and Austen bump fists as Mia Bala looks towards Austen.

Mia: That was all the time we had.

Austen shrugs, and heads off as the beginning video of the show begins to play.

As the intro to “Applause” by Lady Gaga begins to play, Danni emerges from behind the curtain. She stands in the center of the stage, surveying the crowd as she smiles. As the music kicks up, she runs to one corner of the stage, clapping in time to the music as the crowd does the same. She then does the same on the other side, before walking down to the ring apron.

Mackenzie: The following opening contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from El Segundo, California, weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds, she is the South Bay Siren...DANIELLE BASCH!!

She runs around the ring, psyching up the crowd before running up the ring steps. She walks along the ring apron, stopping about halfway as she faces the ring, then drops down into the splits before sliding under the bottom rope. She then gets back to her feet and heads to her corner, mounting the turnbuckle and saluting the crowd once more before jumping back down and waiting for the match to begin.

Phoenix: One-half of the West Coast Genesis power couple is going to be taking on perhaps the rising challengers to that throne as she takes on the woman who actually took her championship from her in Tasmin Richards. This match will be an opportunity for Danielle Basch to show that even though Tasmin took her championship, she should still be considered one of the absolute best on the roster.

"Sex Metal Barbie" hits as Tasmin comes skipping out in a leather biker jacket, a black top and black jeans. She makes her way down to the ring high fiving fans before running and sliding under the bottom rope popping up to her knees.

Mackenzie: And her opponent, from Norwich, England, weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds, she is the West Coast Genesis South Bay Champion...TASMIN RICHARDS!!

Phoenix: The recent relationship status change of this next competitor has been quite the talk of the West Coast Genesis community after we saw Tasmin share two kisses with former Long Beach Champion shortly after the attack from Remi Fontaine, who is now going by the name Prince Sekhmethotep. But it’s also hard to ignore the fact that Tasmin Richards has been on a tear lately and has proven to the world that she deserves to be our South Bay Champion, fresh of a victory securing that she remains champion against Kimo on this past Unscripted.

DING DING DING

Phoenix: Reminder, the South Bay Championship is NOT on the line. This is a non-title match which will be for these two women to stake their claim as one of the best wrestlers on the roster. Hard to believe this is actually our opening match.

Richards and Basch begin circling one another, waiting to see who will make the first move and who will have a chance to try to respond to it. Danielle flinches first and Tasmin quickly flips her with a hurricanrana. Richards tries to do an imitation of her older sister with a spinning heel kick, but Basch catches her foot...but TASMIN GETS HER WITH THE OTHER FOOT!!

Phoenix: Good early start by the South Bay Champion after that enziguri!

Tasmin, known for her springboard moves, bounces off the middle rope for the first time in the evening with a knee strike off the middle rope, taking down the former South Bay Champion. Tasmin hooks the leg to try to get a quick victory.

THR...NO!!

Danielle Basch still has more to give this match as she gets the shoulder off the mat. Tasmin tries to follow it up with a springboard forearm but Basch moves out of the way in time, using the opening to land a shining wizard on Tasmin Richards. Danielle lifts Tasmin up and hits a standing dropkick. She covers.

And Tasmin kicks out of it. Basch heads up to her feet and uses a Flying headscissors to send Tasmin to the mat. She follows it up with a standing moonsault. She covers again.

And Tasmin kicks out. Tasmin slowly pulls back to to her feet and turns right into a quick superkick.

Phoenix: We got some offense now from Danielle Basch!

Danielle follows it up with another headscissors takedown and then climbs the top, stopping the hearts of everyone in the Phoenix Theater when she leaps with a moonsault. Everyone rises to their feet as Danielle Basch hooks the leg for the cover.

THR...NO!!

Tasmin Richards gets her shoulder off the mat. Danielle lifts Richards to her feet, but Richards gets a jawbreaker to stop Danielle’s momentum in its tracks. She kills the momentum entirely with a bulldog off the middle rope. The fans are on their feet again.

Phoenix: Wow, this fast paced match has been leaving some breathless moments. And to think, this is only the opening match tonight! Tasmin Richards with the cover!

TWO!!

THRE...NO!!

Tasmin Richards figures she needs to keep the heat on as she lets Danielle start to get up before landing the Shining Witch, one of her signature moves. She then slips onto the apron, waiting for Danielle Basch to get up and preparing to slingshot into the ring with her other signature.

Phoenix: Tasmin Richards is preparing to go for the kill. She’s going for the slingshot spear to try to end the match!

She flies into the ring...but Danielle counters it!!

Phoenix: This is not good. Danielle has Tasmin by the arm. I think she’s got her own ideas to end the match!!

Tasmin is at Danielle’s mercy after the missed slingshot spear, and Danielle knows that she has a chance to end the match as she drops Richards to the mat with the Siren’s Snare.

Phoenix: Yikes, this is a combination of a Fujiwara armbar and a triangle chokehold.

Tasmin begins flailing in pain. She pounds and shifts, making a way towards the ropes. She manages to reach out and snags the rope with the toes of her boot. The referee begins the five count.

ONE

TWO

Danielle releases the hold.

Phoenix: Basch almost had that. It was nearly over there.

Danielle reaches and drags Tasmin up to her feet. The South Bay Siren looks for Boot-a-rang (540 Roundhouse) and connects.

Phoenix: The champion goes down! Oh no! It is over!

Basch hits the canvas near the ropes as she rolls out and hits the floor on the outside. The referee begins a ten count.

Danielle rolls to the outside and tries to lift Tasmin up into the ring.

Tasmin drops like a sack of potatoes to the floor again.

Danielle rolls back into the ring.

Phoenix: That is unfortunately.

Mackenzie: The winner of the match via Count Out… she is Danielle Basch.

The crowd feels let down by the final result.

Mackenzie: And still WCG South Bay Champion… Tasmin Richards!

“Applause” begins playing as Danielle Basch gets her hand raised by the referee. Tasmin, quickly over the fact she lost the match from the count out, also gives some ‘applause’ for Danielle. Tasmin is letdown as the match did not go the way she wanted it to.

Phoenix: Tasmin has nothing to be ashamed of. Danielle did her homework and set up Tasmin for that submission. Richards was able to slip out of it and Danielle was able to pick up the win. But Tasmin keeps the title. I don’t think this is far from over.

The cameras move backstage.

We see a preview for tonight's Main Event.

Mackenzie: The following contest is a Triple Threat Match and is scheduled for one fall. First to the ring from Boston, Massachusetts… She is Team B.A.D. Alicia Hixx!

Sky's the Limit hit's when Alicia comes out with her BLK attire with Red Sunglasses in wears Legit Knuckles on her left hand and also wears Boss Knuckles on her right hand in wears a Blk Jacket with gold in the outside of the Jacket while she gets on top of the rope in shows them her Boss Knuckles in gets and the ring in takes off her clothes in waits for her Opponent to arrive to the ring.

Phoenix: Here she is, the Captain of her own Team B.A.D. I can't help but notice something… different about Miss Hixx. Maybe it's just me, but she's looking to turn things around here in West Coast Genesis.

The lights fade as El Chapo by The Game blares out. Once the beat drops green, white and red strobe lighting fills the arena. Seis Muerto steps out with the Mexican flag draped around him, Fernando Gonzalez follows him out dressed in a black suit with white trim. They stop on the ramp.

Gonzalez: Te traigo al hombre, la bestia de México, trayendo la muerte al otro lado de la frontera. El campeón de los pueblos Mexicanos...THE GOLDEN DEATH...Seis Muertos!

Seis Muertos throws the flag off to sprint down the ramp jumping onto apron and front flipping over the ropes. Landing in a one knee superhero pose. He waits for the lights to come back before looking dead centre into the camera flipping the middle finger and winking.

Phoenix: To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what to make of Seis Muertos. I haven't seen or heard too much from him. Let's see how he stands in this kind of a match.

Mackenzie: And finally, from Santa Monica, California, weighing in at 175 lbs… He is J.D. Ryan!

As ‘You’re going down’ by Sick Puppies drums up on the P.A the lights begin to flicker, strobing nearly blinding brightness. When this halts a hooded figure is standing at center. He has both hands in his pockets keeping head down. He only glances up part way showing the lower part of his face. Down to the ring he walks keeping to the rhythm of the music and completely ignoring fans attempting to interact with him. The figure jogs up the steps climbing into the ring through the ropes. Both of his arms flick out wide dramatically freezing momentarily only to slowly reach up removing the hood. J.D Ryan straightens up with a mischievous grin. He peers around disrobing the coat then backing up into the corner.

Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen, it's the return of J.D. Ryan! After suffering a vicious attack by the hands of Jason Hunter, he's finally come back to WCG. Based on his promotional work, he's inspired by violence.

With all three competitors inside of the ring, the referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

Ryan doesn't hesitate. He lunges for Seis, catching him off guard with a barrage of strong style strikes. Hixx attempts to attack Ryan from behind, but he clocks her with a harsh back elbow to the jaw. Hixx falls back while Ryan abolishes Seis with a relentless series of chops. Every strike resonates throughout the arena. Ryan grabs the back of Seis’ mask, drags him towards one of the corners of the ring, and SLAMS him face first against the top turnbuckle over and over again. When Hixx gets up, Ryan tosses Seis into the corner like a rag doll and turns towards her. Ryan takes off and nails Hixx with a discus clothesline, dropping her like a sack of potatoes. He lifts her up, forces her back down onto the mat with a Japanese arm drag, and smoothly transitions into a fujiwara armbar. Hixx is kicking and screaming, feeling like Ryan is about to tear her arm out of the socket, but he deliberately releases her.

Phoenix: What in the world? J.D. could have finished the match right then and there. What is he… oh no.

Without hesitation, Ryan kips up, charges Seis, and blasts him with “NOOB Killer” (Corner Dropkick)! Seis falls back harshly and the fans are shocked. While Hixx recovers, Ryan bashes Seis with forearm strikes in rapid succession. He then grabs the back of Seis’ mask and throws him over the top rope, sending him crashing down nearby Gonzalez. Hixx attempts to catch Ryan off guard, but HE surprises her with “Finished Failtality” (Pelé Kick) and knocks the sense out of her!

Phoenix: NOOB Killer and Finished Failtality! Almost back to back signatures from J.D. Ryan and he hasn't even broken a sweat.

Lifting her up, Ryan chucks Hixx out of the ring in Seis’ direction, causing them to collide with one another. Seis and Hixx slowly but surely begin to recover. Ryan doesn't hesitate. He runs back, rebounds against the ropes, and flies right into them with a suicide dive through the ropes. Gonzalez barely gets out of harm’s way as Hixx and Seis collapse, but Ryan's already back on his feet. The fans are loud with excitement. Ryan then drags Hixx to her feet and lets out a primal roar as he launches Hixx with full force into the steel steps. She crashes with no remorse and appears to be motionless. Ryan grabs Seis, bashes his head against the steel pole, and rolls him back into the ring before the referee can even start a count. Ryan follows after him, and without hesitation, he ensnares Seis in the “Distortion Drive” (Cattle Mutilation)! Seis is cursing in Spanish and screaming in agony. Ryan torques the hold, laughing in Seis’ ear, and the luchador has no choice but to tap out.

Phoenix: And with the Distortion Drive, Ryan claims the submission victory!

DING DING DING

Mackenzie: The winner of the match… J.D. RYAN!

Ryan keeps the hold on Seis for a little while longer. The fans boo loudly and this piques Ryan's interest as he finally releases Seis. He turns to see Prince Sekhmethotep walk down the ramp, casually twirling the barbed wire wrapped Singapore cane, and he suddenly blasts Hixx across the face with it! She hits the ground with a resounding THUD and the fans are shocked.

Phoenix: Oh, come on now. That was completely uncalled for!

A sick grin crosses Ryan's face as he moves to part the ropes for Fontaine to enter the ring. The Prince sets his weapon down on the ring apron and climbs up. Just as he enters the ring, Ryan dips Fontaine and kisses him in front of thousands live, and many more on national television. The fans boo loudly, some of them viewing this as a mockery of Adam and Tasmin, but their love is genuine if not a little demented. Ryan breaks the kiss, Fontaine smirks, and he raises his boyfriend's hand in victory.

Phoenix: These two are corrupted… But the show must go on. Often imitated, never duplicated, HYPE will continue!

Baddest Bitch by Bebe Rexha hits the pa system. Mercedes Blackwell walks out onto the stage. She looks out at the crowd as they are cheering for her. She smiles lightly, as she had an announcement to make, one she was hoping everyone would like. She has a mic in her hand, as she raises it once her theme stops playing.

Mercedes: Thank you everyone. Now I am sure you all are wondering what I am doing out here. Well I am in a generous mood tonight. I got looking at the card, while also thinking to myself. Austen Blackwell needs a challenger for the first Unscripted after Crossroad: Spotlight. We have two matches with four talented Long Beach Division talent in them.

She pauses for a few seconds.

Mercedes: So I got thinking, why not make this even better. Let’s have a mini tournament. Tonight the winner of Remi Fontaine vs Adam Sanders will go on to face the winner of Sela Lark vs Izzy Roxx in the new Semi Main Event.

She can hear the crowd cheer, as they loved that announcement. She smiles.

Mercedes: Enjoy the rest of the show guys.

Her music hits, as she heads to the back.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is part of the Long Beach Contendership Showcase! Introducing first, from Santa Monica, California, weighing in at one hundred forty-four pounds, he is Prince Sekhmethotep...REMI FONTAINE!!

Without warning, all the lights in the arena go out. There's stirring from the audience as red lights flicker on and off in rapid succession. The introduction of "Thought Contagion" by Muse synchronizes with the flickering. Suddenly, a white spotlight shines on the entrance stage where Prince Sekhmethotep is "restrained" by silver strings behind him. The fans boo loudly while Matt Bellamy's voice ties in the first verse.

"Strung out falling from the big time
Welcome to the infinite black skies..."

The Prince's eyes open suddenly and he lets out a feral roar. He rips himself free of the strings that bind him and lowers himself on his hands, knees, and feet.

"Brain cleansed fractured identity
Fragments and scattered debris..."

He takes the hunting stance of a lion, canting his head to the left, then to the right, and a wicked grin crosses his face. Without warning, he takes off towards the ring, leaps onto the ring apron, and grabs the top rope. He stops for a moment to simply embrace the hatred of the fans, the spotlight turning red as he leers.

"Thought Con-ta-gion!"

He arches his back, throws his arms out to his sides, and laughs darkly.

"Thought Con-ta-gion!"

Sekhmethotep grabs the top rope, springboards himself into the ring, and rolls the landing. He ends up in the hunter's position, completely still as the fans cascade their spite.

"Fall down, learn when to count it out,
Prop me up before I black out..."

With those lyrics, the spotlight shuts off and the light ceases the flickering.

"Withdraw before you're out of time
A clean slate and buried war crimes. . ."

In an instant, the lights of the arena all come back on and the Prince is perched on his corner of the ring, a cold smirk on his face, his hands clenching and unclenching slowly.

"You've been bitten by... a true believer
You've been bitten by... someone who's hungrier than you
You've been bitten by... a true believer
You've been bitten by... someone's false beliefs!"

He relieves himself of his jacket, allowing it to fall behind him, and the music is drowned by the booing.

Phoenix: These fans have no been very pleased with what Remi Fontaine has done to his upcoming opponent. For so long, these two were partners in the team Awkwardly Awesome. For so long, they were like brothers. And Remi announced that he was now Prince Sekhmethotep and viciously assaulted his friend. He betrayed the very friend who fought with him all throughout the tag team trials. And then there was the situation with Tasmin Richards on Unscripted.

Drums fill the entire venue as they pound rhythmically before the famous Foo Fighters guitar riff takes over. As the full band kicks in to perform the band's hit single "My Hero", the former West Coast Genesis Long Beach Champion appears on the ramp, earning a few cheers from each of the fans as the socially awkward and shy wrestler looks around at all the fans.

Mackenzie: And his opponent, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, weighing in at two hundred thirty-five pounds, he is...ADAM SANDERS!!

Phoenix: Last show, Remi Fontaine attacked Tasmin Richards after she spoke against Remi’s actions from the Tag Trials. He slipped away when Adam attempted to save the girl who ended up becoming his new girlfriend from the attack.

Sanders, donning "Well, this is Awkward!", gives a wave to a fan or two before rolling under the ropes and into the ring, holding his arms high above his head as Dave Grohl sings the chorus for everyone to hear, savoring the moment from the corner.

Adam Sanders drops back down from the middle rope as he begins getting ready for the start of the match, stretching both of his legs, then his shoulders, followed by rolling his neck.

DING DING DING

The two former friends begin to stare one another down. Adam Sanders has a serious expression, all the hurt and pain Remi has caused him flashing before his eyes. Remi, on the other hand, has a wide smirk on his face. He was having fun with what he was doing to Adam. Adam lets out an angry shriek before grabbing Remi, something that caught the Prince off guard. He immediately tosses him against the ropes and clotheslines him out of the ring before he can rebound.

Phoenix: Adam Sanders has come into the match with a purpose. And Remi seems to realize this match is different from all his previous encounters in the ring with Adam Sanders. Adam is now angry and not going at this like a friend of his opponent.

Remi re-enters the ring only to find himself powerslammed into the center of the ring.

Sanders: YOU THINK I’M SOME SORT OF PUPPET!!

Sanders quickly strikes Fontaine in the face with a few kicks as he keeps screaming at him.

Sanders: WHO IS THE ONE BEING CONTROL, REMI?! WHO IS THE ONE WEAK NOW?!

Sanders keeps kicking until he has to be told to stop by the referee. Remi Fontaine laughs as Sanders backs off to avoid disqualification. Almost as if he was enjoying the early-match dominance from Adam Sanders. And before Adam can make his next move, Remi has already rushed him with a jumping knee strike to the midsection. He drops Adam with a DDT. The moment Sanders gets back up, Remi comes flying from the top rope with a flying forearm smash.

Phoenix: Fontaine or Sekhmethotep has found a small opening to turn the tables.

Remi attempts the Eye of Ra, but Adam quickly dodges it. Remi has to settle for a bicycle kick, followed by a front kick to Adam’s face once he bent over from the first kick. Once Adam is upright again, Remi leaps for a hurricanrana...BUT ADAM GRABS HIM!!

Phoenix: Uh oh. This isn’t good news for Remi Fontaine…

Adam improves his grip on Remi on his shoulders and lifts him up before slamming his one hundred forty-four pound body into the mat as hard as he can, shaking the ring with the power.

Phoenix: Whoa! That powerbomb SHOOK the ring! Cover by Adam!

ONE!!

TWO!!

THR...NO!!

Remi wiggles his shoulder free. He tries to keep Adam on the mat with an armbar, but Sanders powers off of him. Remi sees this as a chance to shove Adam...into the referee. Corey Carter comes tumbling down as Remi nails a low blow on Adam.

Phoenix: Oh no…

He finally lands the Eye of Ra like he wanted to earlier in the match. This gives Remi a chance to roll out of the ring and quick retrieve something from under the ring.

Phoenix: No, not like this, Remi. Don’t use that barbed wire Singapore cane…

He repeatedly strikes Adam in the face and torso with the weapon. He tosses the weapon out of the ring as he sees Carter starting to get back up. Prince Sekhmethotep hooks the leg of Adam Sanders. Corey Carter looks at Adam, who is suddenly covered in his own blood, but has no proof there was anything illegal done and makes the count.

ONE!!

TWO!!

THREE!!

DING DING DING

Phoenix: This is absolutely disgusting. Adam had control for most of the match and...this is so messed up…

Muse starts playing as the fans start booing Prince Sekhmethotep as he stands tall over his bloodied ex-tag team partner.

Mackenzie: Here is your winner...REMI FONTAINE!!

Remi starts celebrating on the ramp as Adam Sanders, who still has blood trickling from his forehead begins to finally sit up after being checked on by Corey Carter.

Phoenix: Adam misses his chance at revenge. And he looks devastated…

He stares down the ramp his former friend walks down and disappears behind the curtain. Sanders shakes his head, upset before rolling out of the ring, leaving on his own power despite the blood loss.

"Had Enough" by Lower Than Atlantis begins to play as the lights dim down. Blue smoke begins to rise from the floor as "The Legacy" flashes on the video screen. Zach Knight begins to walk out into the arena to the boos of the fans. He is wearing a pair of wrestling shorts and tall boots, along with a shirt that reads "The Legacy". He has a black, jean jacket on over it. His cocky smirk can be seen as the lights come up. He takes a couple of steps forward as he holds his arms out at the sides to further show off his physique. A series of blue fireworks go off on both far ends of the ramp. Zach stalks down the entrance ramp and heads up the steel stairs into the ring with a microphone in hand.

The boos continue to reign in.

Zach: Well, well, well. It is nice being on the West Coast.

There is a slight pop.

Zach: But we all know Washington is a much better state.

More boos come in.

Zach: Haha, that is more like it. Shower me, you fools. I am here tonight to make it known that at Crossroad: Spotlight I will make my debut. I will win my first ever West Coast Genesis match at a pay-per-view. And it does not matter who I am facing, it will be a win. I am a former world champion, and I am putting all of the so-called "champions" on notice. Mercedes was smart is signing me to a lucrative contract. I am a top paid player in this company, and it will be soon reflected in my work within the company. I will be joined by two of my own close acquaintances at Spotlight. Together, we are The Allegiance.

Zach turns his back to the camera showing the black jean jacket with an American flag reading THE ALLEGIANCE. He drops his the mic as his music plays and the video screen shows a preview for Crossroad: Spotlight.

Mackenzie Murphy: The following contest is set for one fall, and is part of the Long Beach Contendership Showcase!

The crowd blows the roof off of the Phoenix Theater with their cheers.

Mackenzie Murphy: Introducing first, wrestling out of Tucson, Arizona, she is SELA-RICA LARK!!!

The opening chords of Halestorm’s “I Like It Heavy” play on the speakers. The lights fade out until only the stage is lit. Sela steps out from behind the curtains.

“Some like beautiful, perfect and pretty
I see the good in the bad and the ugly
I need the volume one louder than ten
I put the pedal to the metal, needle into the red
If the windows ain't shaking making my heart race
If I can't feel it in my chest I'm in the wrong damn place!”

Sela poses at the top of the ramp to the crowd’s reaction. When the tempo picks up she slams her fist to the ground as the lights come back up alternating in light blues and reds.

“I got a demon in my soul and a voice in my head
It's saying go, go, go! I can sleep when I'm dead
There's a sonic revelation bringing me to my knees
And there's a man down below who needs my sympathy
I got a ringing in my ears getting ready to burst
Screaming ‘hallelujah, motherfucker, take me to church’”

Sela walks down the ramp, a sadistic smile on her face as she looks towards the ring. She takes her time at ringside, teasing a ringpost with her fingers as she walks to one side of the ring and climbs on the apron near the corner. When the chorus kicks in she climbs up the turnbuckle and poses again.

“I like it louder than the boom of a big bass drum
I need it harder than the sound of a guitar grunge
I love to crank it up, make it thump and evil to the core
Headbanging in the pit and throwing my horns
And just like old school Sabbath, Zeppelin and Lemmy
I need to drop it down low and make it heavy
I like it heavy, oh ohh
I like it heavy, oh ohh”

Sela hops down inside the ring and poses once more inside the ring. She slaps at her chest several times screaming out to the audience before going to her corner. Her music fades as she warms up for her match.

Hayden Phoenix: This young lady is coming off of a loss to Austen Blackwell. Will she make up for that loss tonight? We’ll find out.

Mackenzie Murphy: And her opponent, from Across the Izzyverse... IZZY ROXX!!!

The house lights dim and a strobe light show starts near the entranceway as an echo-y, staccato keyboard riff begins to play across the arena speakers.

Dear whoever
Do you remember
It's me, old Whatsername
Can't believe it
But you ain't dreamin'
I don't look quite the same

As the vocals kick in, Izzy Roxx comes out, followed by her tubby manager, cameraman and best friend Seth Walton. She can be seen mouthing 'Welcome to the Izzyverse, baby!' as she stands with her legs spread out and points towards the arena ceiling with both hands, her entire body bobbing to the beat. She then takes her Long Beach Championship from around her shoulder, lifting it up above her head just as the chorus kicks in:

I'm looking down from the skyline
Dancin' on the moonlight
Can you see my name in the stars, yeah
I bet you won't forget me now!

Then, as the song moves on to its second verse, Izzy proceeds to race down the ramp, slapping every hand in sight. Upon reaching ringside, she vaults onto the top rope, then down onto the canvas, from where she continues to mug to, and interact with, the crowd until the song fades out.

Hayden Phoenix: Izzy’s had a rather... rocky last few weeks. Perhaps she’ll turn things around tonight against Sela...

The bell rings, and right away, Lark charges at Izzy, backing her into the corner with a series of forearms to the face. The referee wedges himself between the two women to break it up. Sela takes a couple steps back as if to comply with the referee’s order to back off, but then slaps Izzy hard across the face, prompting a collective gasp from the crowd.

Hayden Phoenix: WOW! I think they heard that slap out in the parking lot!

Sela looks at Izzy with a sick smile on her face, then turns to the crowd for a little showboating. As soon as her back is turned, Izzy charges out of the corner and blindsides Sela with an elbow to the back of the head. Sela is staggered, but as Izzy attempts a bulldog, Sela wriggles out of it and nails her in the back of the knee with a chop block. From there, Sela ruthlessly stomps away at Izzy’s knee. One final stomp, and she moves to grab Izzy by the hair, only to slam her head back down to the canvas. She backs up, and again plays to the crowd, as Izzy starts to get back up. Izzy rolls up to all fours by the time Sela turns around. She moves in behind Izzy and grabs her, hitting her with Pain For Pleasure, driving her head in the base of Izzy’s neck.

Hayden Phoenix: So far, it’s been all Sela. Izzy’s gonna have to get back in the game if she wants to even think about winning this thing....

Sela pulls Izzy up by the hair again, whipping her into the corner, but Izzy inadvertently knocks the referee out of the ring and down to the floor. Izzy slumps into the corner while Sela reaches into her boot and pulls out some brass knuckles. With the referee out of the way, she wastes no time drilling into Izzy’s face with the foreign object, busting her open. Over and over again, Sela pounds away at Izzy’s face until a river of blood coats her face, and over Sela’s hand. She smears the blood across Izzy’s chest, but as she does this, she notices the referee starting to crawl his way back into the ring. She quickly tosses the brass knuckles aside before the referee notices, even as the crowd lets loose with a deafening chorus of boos. As the referee finally makes it back into the ring, Sela once again pulls Izzy up to her feet, with the blood still oozing from the gash in her head. She quickly comes up behind and locks in Playtime Over. The referee goes to check on Izzy, who is completely out of it. He watches as the life slowly drains out of her even as Sela brings her down to the canvas, the hold still locked in. He raises Izzy’s arm and lets it fall... raises it again, and again it falls. When it falls the final time, the referee immediately calls for the bell to end the match.

Mackenzie Murphy: Ladies and gentlemen, due to a referee stoppage... your winner... SELA-RICA LARK!!!

Sela’s music once again plays on the sound system as the referee moves in to force her to break the hold. Eventually, she does let go, but takes a moment to admire her handiwork before the EMTs come to check on Izzy.

Shortly before the match, Anastacia Alejandro is stretching out one of her long legs against a stagehand’s crate. As she readies herself for the match, she notices the smaller blonde General Manager near her. Ana tries to straighten herself out a bit, almost nervously. Ana’s height advantage is almost noticeable…

Anastacia: Mrs. Blackwell…

Mercedes looks up seeing Ana. She smiles lightly.

Mercedes: Hello Miss. Alejandro. How can I help you?

Anastacia keeps herself straightened up and almost wonders if she should ask, but nothing gained, they say.

Anastacia: I know I’m not exactly the most deserving of the chance here, and I thank you for it. But… I wonder why your husband wanted to give me this chance?

Mercedes looks at Ana, as she takes a deep breath.

Mercedes: Right now, he is just simply Austen, or Mr. Blackwell. Not my husband.

Anastacia: I see… I know Rémiel and I were trained under Xaria… I hope you don’t think I would turn into what he became. At worst… I fear turning into my father at times.

Mercedes shakes her head no.

Mercedes: Nobody is alike. I know that perfectly well. Mr. Blackwell wants to prove himself and wanted to give you a chance. Something not many get. He gave me an argument, and I agreed. This is nothing new for me. I have given quite a few people chances with title matches.

Mercedes knew she had, even if people felt she hadn’t.

Anastacia: I know. Dad said I’ll probably get dragged a lot because I’m the daughter of Jaime Alejandro. They’ll think I won’t even try to earn anything.

Anastacia sees Mercedes smiling at her.

Anastacia: This is you trying to tell me to calm down, isn’t it?

Mercedes: It is. Sometimes it is best to stay calm. I have to tell Austen, and others it all the time. Just go out there, and do your best.

Anastacia feels Mercedes taking her hands gently and holding them.

Anastacia: Thank you, Mrs. Blackwell…

Feeling a bit of her intimidation leaving her system, she sees as the smaller woman releasing her hands. Mercedes begins to start adjusting the mask covering Anastacia’s face.

Mercedes: It is no problem. I am here to help out wrestlers as much as I can. Show me respect, I show it back. Even when people don’t, I still try to show it, and try to give them chances. Sometimes I just can’t.

Mercedes lightly shrugs her shoulders.

Mercedes: You should get out there soon though.

Anastacia: You’re right. Austen’s waiting for his challenger.

Anastacia gives a bit of a light hug to Mercedes. Slowly, she walks towards the entranceway waiting for the match to be called.

Mackenzie: The following contest is set for one fall. And it is for the West Coast Genesis LONG BEACH CHAMPIONSHIP!

The spotlight strikes down on a masked figure in the entrance way. Anastacia Alejandro glares out towards the crowd and the music hits. As the synth hits from Celldweller, she moves towards the ring quickly. The crowd tries to reach out. She slaps the hands on the way to the ring as the crowd cheers her on.

Mackenzie: Introducing the challenger. Coming to the ring from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She weighs in at one hundred and forty five pounds. She is the “Strong Style Angel” Anastacia Alejandro!

She slides herself on to the apron, and takes off her hood. The crowd sees her half painted sugar skull design on her face. They take in the visuals as she throws her coat to the ring crew. Anastacia then leans back and flips herself into the ring and lands on her feet. The crowd quiets down as she looks towards the middle of the ring.

Phoenix: The eldest daughter of “The Warrior Monk” Jaime Alejandro… You can feel that energy off of her as she’s now in a title match.

"Lions" by Skip Marley begins to play as the lights come down in the arena. The crowd has a hush come over them. As soon as the song kicks in, Austen Blackwell enters the arena as the words "AB" appear on the screen. They fade from green to blue and back, while spinning every few seconds.

Mackenzie: Introducing the Long Beach Champion. Coming in from Oceanside, California. Weighing in at one hundred and eighty seven pounds. He is Austen Blackwell!

Austen stands atop the entrance ramp as he raises his arms to the crowd. They cheer for the SoCal boy. He points up to above the ring as a single spotlight comes on and it lights the center of the ring. Austen yells "Come on!" as he turns his focus on the middle of the ring. He runs down the ramp and slides into the ring head first, popping back up to his feet as the spotlight shines on him. He opens his arms wide, as the fans welcome him.

Phoenix: Not much in age and size difference between the champion and challenger. Anastacia is Amazonian in size, but she also gives up forty pounds to our champion. Austen can match her in the air as well.

Both competitors meet in the middle of the ring and hug gently before the bell rings. As they wish each other well, the referee separates them before the bell rings. As it does, both competitors circle each other in the ring. Austen takes the advantage to leap in with a hook and collar, and Ana connects with him slowly. Both competitors are trying to get in an angle edge-wise, but they stall each other up! The men in the audience start whistling as they see the arms flex out from Alejandro, as she keeps her guard up against Austen.

Phoenix: The incredible strength from that slender Amazon. She and Austen are matching each other up to see who would get the advantage in this tie-up.

As Ana gets a slight advantage over Austen, she throws him to the ropes with an Irish whip. Austen takes advantage of this and bounces off the ropes with an attempt at a spinning heel kick, but Ana ducks under him and spins around with a roundhouse kick. Austen catches the kick and spins around the challenger to meet her with another spinning heel kick! Alejandro hits the mat hard after a vicious spin. Seeing this Austen hits the mat with a pin attempt!

ONE!

TWO!

Anastacia rolls her shoulder out and gasps up for air!

Phoenix: Alejandro took every bit of that kick to her jaw. Austen put every bit of energy he had into that kick and did you see the spin she took before she hit the ground! And then she’s fighting to get back up.

Austen shakes his head as he rolls off of Anastacia. She pulls herself up and onto her feet and readies herself with a defensive stance. She and Austen meet each other with a round kick. Both competitors connect, and then they come back around with a spin kick that also connects. The audience looks at this display with a bit of shock. Ana goes high with a leaping spin kick, and Austen goes under with a sweep. As they miss each other, the audience sees them in a stance again.

Phoenix: Two accomplished Martial Artists… They’re trying to see who can get the advantage on one another in this matchup. Right now, they’re both looking very even. This match could go either way. If Anastacia connects with the Iron Maiden, she would end up meeting Jimmy Pagan at Spotlight. If Austen gets that AB Cutter in, it’ll be ballgame for him.

Both competitors seem to be at a bit of a Mexican standoff. As their kicks bounce off of each other, they move away and reassess their situation. Both decide to take to the air, as Anastacia leaps off the ropes and connects with a flying forearm to Austen’s jaw. The Cali Boy moves back and throws himself off the ropes and hits Ana with a single-leg dropkick on the rebound. As they back off again, Ana keeps herself on her feet for a moment until she hits the ground on one hand and throws a massive kick to Austen’s jaw!

Phoenix: The Au Batido! She calls that B-Girling, and look what it did to Austen! He’s backing up now!

Austen seems a bit surprised at the caporeira kick to his jaw, but he knows his challenger isn’t planning on backing off any time soon. She moves behind him and grabs the front side in the wrist! Ana spins him around and throws a hard slap to the face with floors him. As the Bitchmaker connects, Austen hits the mat. Ana drags him to the corner and parks him. She leaps up to the ropes and looks down at Austen.

Phoenix: She’s trying to set him up for it.

Ana zeroes in on Austen and leaps into the air!

Phoenix: She’s pulling out the Ruby Weapon!

As she goes into the revolutions for the six-thirty, Austen holds his knees up! Anastacia’s back connects with the kneecaps. She bounces up and onto the mat holding her back in pain!

Phoenix: Austen was waiting for that opening!

He sees her holding her back and rolls her over, putting his knee into her back and pulling her body up straight, putting the pressure onto her back and neck! As he cranks into the Cali Check (Elevated Boston Crab/Lion Tamer), Anastacia screams out in pain! As she looks for the escape, Austen pulls harder! Ana has no choice as she taps out!

Mackenzie: Your winner and still Long Beach Champion… Austen Blackwell!

As the bell rings, Austen releases the move and puts Ana down gently. As the referee hands him the belt, Austen leans down and helps Anastacia up. He supports her onto the ropes as she looks at him in pain. Ana nods to him and raises his arm in victory…

The cameras cut to the back inside of Melina Wilson’s locker room. She is inside getting ready for her match. Her son Tamaki is inside, as he is busy taking his shirt off, while wearing pants. Melina wasn’t sure what he was doing, as she looks at her boyfriend Nik King.

Melina: What is he doing? Do you know?

Nik: I have no clue. Tamaki?

Nik leans down towards the little man. Melina starts taping her wrists, as Tamaki goes to grab the tape as well. He looks at Nik.

Tamaki: I promo, I wrestle like Mommy.

Nik: Oh yeah? Who is your opponent?

He smiles.

Tamaki: Iphy. I going to beat her.

Melina stops, as she looks at him. She looks at Nik, as she wanted to laugh. Tamaki was full of smiles.

Nik: And what is your finisher?

He really challenges Tamaki. Tamaki thinks as he looks at Melina.

Tamaki: Wilson Twist like Mommy used to do.

Melina laughs finally, as she could picture her son doing that.

Melina: You think you could beat Iphy? She is your friend.

Nik looks up to Melina as he stands up.

Nik: Sometimes you gotta beat your friends, right Tamaki?

Tamaki nods.

Tamaki: Right, like Mommy beat Dragonite Adam, and Dragonite Adam beat Mommy.

Tamaki looks at Melina while still smiling. Nik looks over to Melina.

Nik: Pokemon?

He asks. Melina nods her head.

Melina: Yeah, that last stuffed one I got him. That was Dragonite. At least this one isn’t that dang Bidoof.

She rolls her eyes, before looking at Tamaki.

Melina: You really sure again you want to wrestle?

Tamaki looks at Melina, as he nods his head.

Nik: Well, I guess he has his mind set. Looks like you are sitting this one out, Mel.

He opens the door for Tamaki.

Nik: Wait… you DID sign a contract, right Tamaki?

Tamaki laughs.

Tamaki: No contract.

Melina laughs.

Melina: Well then no match. You are sitting back here, and watching Mommy wrestle.

Nik: You heard her little man. Once you sign the contract, you can wrestle. For now.. You and I are back here.

He leans over and kisses Melina. Tamaki starts to pout.

Tamaki: But Tamaki wanna wrestle.

Melina looks at Nik.

Melina: You got this right, Daddy Nik?

Nik leans down and lifts Tamaki up. He grabs his Marners cap and tosses it onto the head of Tamaki.

Nik: We are good, right T?

Tamaki wanted a big boy nickname, so Nik had started calling him T.

Tamaki: Good….

Melina smiles.

Melina: Alright, I am outta here. Wish me luck.

Tamaki shakes his head no.

Tamaki: Mommy lose.

Nik: Mommy win.

Tamaki: Mommy lose.

Melina walks out as the two of them argue about Melina winning or losing.

Mackenzie: The following contest is set for one fall!

The heavy bass into of “Devil in I” by Slipknot plays, as the lights in the arena seemingly begin to malfunction. The arena fills with black smoke, as the music begins to slow down.
Through the bottom of the stage, with the smoke and sporadic lighting, Jimmy Pagan slowly rises to the top. He stands there menacingly, as the chorus approaches.

Mackenzie: Introducing first. From Beverly Kills, California, weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds. He is “Godless” Jimmy Pagan!

When the music picks back up again, the “Godless” Jimmy Pagan bursts to life. He charges to barricades, terrifying some of the fans as he makes his way down to the ring. The music slows down again, as he too, starts moving corpse like, as he slowly enters the ring. He hangs himself in the tree of woe, and spreads his arms out, so that his body makes an upside down cross. He sneers dementedly into the camera, as he waits for the match to begin.

Phoenix: After the title defense, we know Jimmy Pagan will be taking on Austen Blackwell for the Long Beach Championship. It does make you wonder how much Anastacia Alejandro took out of Austen, and will Jimmy take advantage of this.

He stands on stage and performs the Haka, a Maori chant used before going into battle, in time with his music before making his way down the ramp.

Mackenzie: His opponent. From Waianae, Oahu, Hawai’i, weighing in at two hundred and fifty pounds. He is Kimo!

Before entering the ring he makes a throat-slitting gesture with his thumb while sticking out his tongue meaning "after i kill you. I'm going to eat you" before entering the ring to warm-up.

Phoenix: Kimo is always all business in that ring. You know he saw the tweets and the taunts from Jimmy. And we know that Jimmy is probably looking too far ahead to Spotlight, to be honest.

Kimo looks like he’s a bit weirded out by Jimmy. At the same time, he also looks like he wants to deck the Godless one. Jimmy looks at Kimo and sneers at him as he flips himself back into a normal standing position. He keeps his weird glare at Kimo, as the bell rings. Kimo throws a hard right to Pagan, who licks his lips and sneers at Kimo again. Kimo hauls off and throws a massive right to the jaw. Jimmy smiles and tries to throw a right hand, but Kimo catches him in the Muay Thai clinch and throws vicious knees to the gut of his opponent.

Phoenix: Pagan seems to have gotten to Kimo a bit, as he throws those vicious pointed knees from the clinch. The clinch is meant to shorten the space and maximize the hits.

As Kimo goes for another knee, Pagan sneaks in a knee to the groin. Kimo releases the clinch and goes to the ground hard! Jimmy points and laughs at Kimo as he rolls on the ground in pain. The referee yells at Pagan about the blow, but the demented one claims innocence. As he moves around to the left side, he “accidentally” steps on Kimo’s groin. Kimo yelps out, as the referee yells at Jimmy again!

Phoenix: And never trust Jimmy Pagan for a fair fight. He is unusual and doesn’t play by normal rules. Someone who fancies himself to be a villain, folks.

Jimmy picks up Kimo and smiles as he keeps Kimo’s hand held. Kimo tries to throw a punch, but Jimmy moves out of the way. The Godless one pulls out the index finger on the left hand and holds it. Kimo shakes his head as Jimmy pulls on it and pops it out! He releases Kimo as the big Hawaiian goes to the ground in pain, holding his hand. The audience boos Jimmy as he takes a bow. The referee checks on Kimo, but the big man pops his finger back in and springs up behind Jimmy. Kimo turns Jimmy around and connects with a massive right hook!

Phoenix: And Kimo’s starting it up!

Kimo throws another pair of punches to Jimmy’s skull and then connects with a massive side kick to the body! Pagan hits the ground hard, holding his ribs. Kimo sees this and goes to the ground for a pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Pagan throws the shoulder up and smirks as Kimo looks at him in frustration. Kimo tries to pull Pagan for an arm drag, but Jimmy blocks it and trips the larger opponent. Kimo hits the ground again as Jimmy rolls himself forward and bounces from the ropes. Kimo picks himself up, only to eat a Bicycle Kick to the face from the returning Jimmy. Kimo hits the ground hard on his back as Pagan cackles in glee. He hits the mat and pins Kimo.

ONE!

TWO… Kickout!

Phoenix: Kimo throws that shoulder up as Jimmy connected hard with that Bicycle Kick. It seems that Pagan is going for extreme malice against the big Hawaiian. And Kimo wants to hurt Jimmy at every chance he can.

As Jimmy picks up Kimo, Kimo turns it around and throws Pagan into a massive spinebuster! As he goes into the Ground n’ Pound, he mounts Pagan and throws massive rights and lefts into his face. Jimmy cackles as Kimo throws everything he has into Ground n’ Pound. Kimo gets even more frustrated and picks up the Godless one by his hair. As he tries to throw him, Jimmy sneaks in a a thumb to the eye!

Phoenix: Come on! The referee has to see this blatant cheating! Jimmy can’t just be that damn lucky!

Pagan smiles as he has Kimo doubled over. He picks up Kimo in a half-chicken wing hold and drops him down for a Nativity in Black (Storm Cradle Driver)! He keeps the pressure on the shoulders as the referee hits the mat!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!!

Pagan throws off Kimo and sneers at the camera, as the referee raises his hand.

Mackenzie: Your winner! Jimmy Pagan!

The fans give some cheers as they see Adam Sanders departing the room being used by the medical team. He has a large bandage of his forehead, his shoulder, and chest after he was attacked with the barbed wire singapore cane at the hands of “Prince Sekhmethotep” Remi Fontaine. The expression on his face spelled it out. Distraught. Disheartened. Dispirited and disillusioned. His hand lightly touches the bandage on his forehead, realizing he really allowed this to happen. He loses in a match where he had the chance to avenge what happened to him at the Tag Team Trials. He not only loses the match, he lets his former friend cheat to win. He let his former friend cause him to have to visit the medical team in the first place. He lets out an audible sigh before he notices who was waiting outside in the hallway for him.

Adam Sanders: Sorry if I had you worried…

Tasmin Richards: It’s ok, I just…I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to be there but sometimes I know you need time. It’s hard, Adam. Watching that, what he did. I don’t know what to do…

She takes a deep breath and paces back and forth rolling hands together before crossing her arms over her chest.

Adam Sanders: I failed, Tasmin. You had more to lose tonight. You had to defend your title. Granted, it was a count out loss, but you still get to keep your belt. He wanted to believe his own words, but his own sullen face betrayed him.

Tasmin Richards: Failed? You walked out to that ring against someone who has no morals, someone who has hurt you. You didn’t fail. You just…why do we fall? So we can stand up…

She sighs again and swallows hard.

Tasmin Richards: I will always stand with you…just believe in yourself…

Adam remembers he had the advantage for most of the match. Up until Remi had to resort to cheating. But he remembers how bandaged up he is.

Adam Sanders: I’m standing. I’m trying to figure out what I do now if I keep letting him do this to me. I had him. I had him after that powerbomb and...I just...I should have done something to not let this happen. I promised you that I would do this for our pact…

Without spilling any details of whatever deal they made in private, Adam places his hand on his chest bandage, making sure it’s still on him properly.

Tasmin Richards: Shhh, you haven’t let me down. You haven’t failed me. You are my man! MY MAN! And you stand up by being the perfect one for me. I told you...I love you…

She reaches out and strokes his face lightly with her finger.

Tasmin Richards: And I mean it…

Adam Sanders: I love you too. And I believe you when you say you mean it.

He bites his lower lip a little bit but places his hand on top of hers on his face.

Adam Sanders: I know you think I’m perfect. But I still want to be better. I think I can be better. I just hope I have another chance to...well, October…

He remains cryptic for the camera.

Tasmin Richards: You never said when and what match. You never specified.

She grabs his hand and places it on her chest.

Tasmin Richards: It beats for you…

Adam Sanders: And mine beats for you. I’d let you feel it but…

Adam points at the bandage on his chest, covering all the wounds Fontaine left him. Unfortunately, it is where Adam would probably place Tasmin’s hand to feel his heart.

Adam Sanders: He left me some souvenirs to take home this time around.

She bites her quivering lip and slowly leans in, kissing his chest softly.

Tasmin Richards: I want to stay out of it. But...he hurt you…he hurt you bad, and I want to hurt him back. But you NEVER EVER let me down. Right?

Adam Sanders: Not after tonight. This is the last time he gets one over on me. On us. Aerial Warfare is coming up and he will be there. He won’t get one over on us again. Not again…

She steps closer, gets up on her tiptoes pulling him down slightly into a deep kiss.

Tasmin Richards: I believe in you.

Sanders nods his head.

Adam Sanders: I’ll do my best to make sure your belief isn’t misplaced. Can we please just...get out of this place? I don’t like this place. Pizza, maybe?

Tasmin begins jumping up and down in excitement at the thought of pizza as the camera cuts back to the ring.

O Fortuna begins to play, and as the music hits a crescendo Iphy makes her way from behind the curtain. Medrapedes hops in place for a moment, before nodding to the crowd, and making her way to the ring. Once at ringside, she makes her way up the steel steps, and steps into the ring. Iphigenia enters her corner, and begins to limber up as she awaits the matches start.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. From Sparta, Greece… she is Iphigenia Medrapedes!

Bad Girls World by Halestorm starts playing, as Melina Wilson would walk out. She stops at the top of the ramp, as she looks at everyone, before throwing her hands up, as she bends her knee. She soon snaps her hands down, before walking down to the ramp, as she climbs the ring ropes. She would climb into the ring, as she goes over to her corner, climbing on the turnbuckle, as she sits on it, with her long legs laying on one of the ropes to her side as she waits for the match to start.

Mackenzie: And from Boise, Idaho… she is Melina Wilson!

Phoenix: We are seeing Melina Wilson looking forward to Crossroad: Spotlight

DING DING DING

The ref calls for the bell. Iphy Medrapedes attempts to start things off with a clothesline but Wilson is quick to duck. Wilson bounces off the ropes, ducks under an attempted elbow strike then hits a neckbreaker to Iphy.

Phoenix: Nice counter by Melina Wilson!

Iphy Medrapedes is back on her feet, and then back on the ground as she finds both feet of Melina Wilson hitting her in the chest with a dropkick. Iphy works her way back up to her feet. She uses an arm drag to take Melina down. Iphy follows it up with a Judo throw. Melina pops up once more. Iphy Medrapedes decides she’s had enough and quickly takes down Melina with a bicycle kick. Melina hits the mat as Iphy moves into an armbar. Wilson attempts to roll out of it, but Iphy has it locked in tight enough that she moves with the roll.

Phoenix: Great job by Iphy there!

At first, Melina is able to use the roll and put Iphy’s shoulders on the canvas.

Iphy kicks out. Wilson realizes where she was in the ring, gives it another roll and grabs the ropes. The ref taps Ipy’s shoulder to release it and she does.

Phoenix: Looks like the damage has already been done.

Iphy quickly makes sure she’s on her feet before Melina. As soon as she is, Iphy uses a crossbody to take Melina down. She makes the pin on Melina.

Kickout by Melina as they both get to their feet.

Phoenix: Iphy clearly in control, early in this match.

Melina sends a stiff kick to Iphy, followed by a Shoulder jawbreaker. Melina locks in Wilson ChokeStretch (Bow and Arrow Choke) to the downed Iphy, but Medrapedes is quickly able to grab the ropes to break the hold. Melina holds onto it.

Wilson finally releases it.

Phoenix: Some aggression from Wilson. She wants to take control.

Melina releases it and pulls Iphy back towards the middle, but Iphy sends her reeling with both feet in another dropkick. Melina falls back stumbling as Iphy pulls herself up to her feet.

Phoenix: Melina is sure getting a run for her money here!

They both reset to vertical bases. Both ladies charge forward as they trade blows. Melina gets the advantage and backs Iphy into the ropes. She shoots Iphy off and as Medrapedes returns Melina pulls back for a big clothesline. Iphy ducks it, hits the ropes with a springboard, and hits another crossbody this time Melina is able to roll it and lifts Iphy up as Melina gets to her feet. Melina presses Iphy and drops her hard to the mat.

Phoenix: What a show of confidence there by Wilson!

Iphy quickly is up to her feet as Melina uses the ropes to pull herself up. As Melina turns around to face Iphy, she is met with a catch and an Overhead Belly to Belly sending Melina to the mat.

Phoenix: This could be the turning tides for Iphy!

Melina BARELY kicks out but enough to stop the count.

Phoenix: So close! It is anyone's match.

The ref begins the ten count as both ladies are working their tails off to head into Crossroad: Spotlight with a win.

Finally Iphy gets up to her feet as Melina reaches for the ropes.

Melina gets up as Iphy charges at her, jumping onto her back and trying to lock in a sleeper hold, but Melina is able to flip her over and onto the mat. Melina reaches down to grab Iphy, but Medrapedes is able to get a boot to the side of her head. Melina holds her head and she stumbles backwards. Iphy is up to her feet. Kicks Melina's left leg. Than her right leg. Left leg again.

Phoenix: Iphy is trying to wear down Melina!

Melina steps forward with Wilson Kick (Spinning Heel Kick) and takes Iphy down to the mat. Wilson covers her.

Phoenix: She keeps getting up!

Both ladies are slow to get up.

They both get back up as Iphy grabs Melina for an Arm drag. Melina is taken to the mat, but she somehow manages to bounce right back up and hits Iphy in the stomach with a kick. Iphy doubles over. Melina grabs her and hits Feel the Pain (Spinning inverted double underhook facebuster),

Phoenix: It’s over! It’s over!

The referee holds up the arm of Wilson.

Mackenzie: The winner of the match… she is Melina Wilson!

Mercedes Blackwell was in her office. She wasn’t expecting anyone, while just getting done watching Melina vs Iphy. She hears someone knocking at the door, as she looks up.

Mercedes: Come in.

Mercedes was confused on who it was. The door opens, with Tasmin Richards walking in with her South Bay title. Mercedes smiles, as Tamsin does too.

Mercedes: Miss Richards, I was not expecting you. Is there something you need?

Tasmin nods her head yes, while walking to the desk.

Tasmin: I have a request for my South Bay title defense at Crossroad: Spotlight.

Mercedes looks at Tasmin, while raising an eyebrow.

Mercedes: Oh do you? May I ask what it is?

Tasmin nods.

Tasmin: I want to face Iphy. I respect her a lot, and feel she would be good to have a chance against me. I can’t see anyone else who would be a better choice than her.

Mercedes looks at Tasmin, while she is thinking about it. She nods her head.

Mercedes: Alright, at Crossroad: Spotlight it will be you defending your title against Iphy. Is that all?

Tasmin thinks, before shaking her head no.

Mercedes: Alright, well good luck in your defense.

Tasmin. Thank you.

Tasmin heads out of the office, as Mercedes makes a note of the match.

Mackenzie: The following contest is the Long Beach Championship Showcase Final! And the winner of this match will face the Long Beach Champion at the next Unscripted!

The opening chords of Halestorm’s “I Like It Heavy” play on the speakers. The lights fade out until only the stage is lit. Sela steps out from behind the curtains.

“Some like beautiful, perfect and pretty
I see the good in the bad and the ugly
I need the volume one louder than ten
I put the pedal to the metal, needle into the red
If the windows ain't shaking making my heart race
If I can't feel it in my chest I'm in the wrong damn place!”

Mackenzie: The first competitor. From Tuscon, Arizona. Weighing in at one hundred and forty-seven pounds, she is Sela-Rica Lark!

Sela poses at the top of the ramp to the crowd’s reaction. When the tempo picks up she slams her fist to the ground as the lights come back up alternating in light blues and reds.

“I got a demon in my soul and a voice in my head
It's saying go, go, go! I can sleep when I'm dead
There's a sonic revelation bringing me to my knees
And there's a man down below who needs my sympathy
I got a ringing in my ears getting ready to burst
Screaming ‘hallelujah, motherfucker, take me to church’”

Sela walks down the ramp, a sadistic smile on her face as she looks towards the ring. She takes her time at ringside, teasing a ringpost with her fingers as she walks to one side of the ring and climbs on the apron near the corner. When the chorus kicks in she climbs up the turnbuckle and poses again.

“I like it louder than the boom of a big bass drum
I need it harder than the sound of a guitar grunge
I love to crank it up, make it thump and evil to the core
Headbanging in the pit and throwing my horns
And just like old school Sabbath, Zeppelin and Lemmy
I need to drop it down low and make it heavy
I like it heavy, oh ohh
I like it heavy, oh ohh”

Sela hops down inside the ring and poses once more inside the ring. She slaps at her chest several times screaming out to the audience before going to her corner. Her music fades as she warms up for her match.

Phoenix: Sela-Rica is probably the fresher of the two. Izzy didn’t put up as much of a fight as her ex-boyfriend did against her opponent. However, you know she’s got to be slightly fatigued.

Without warning, all the lights in the arena go out. There's stirring from the audience as red lights flicker on and off in rapid succession. The introduction of "Thought Contagion" by Muse synchronizes with the flickering. Suddenly, a white spotlight shines on the entrance stage where Prince Sekhmethotep is "restrained" by silver strings behind him. The fans boo loudly while Matt Bellamy's voice ties in the first verse.

Mackenzie: Her opponent. From Santa Monica, California, he weighs in at one hundred and forty four pounds. He is “Prince Sekhmethotep” Rémi Fontaine!

"Strung out falling from the big time
Welcome to the infinite black skies..."

The Prince's eyes open suddenly and he lets out a feral roar. He rips himself free of the strings that bind him and lowers himself on his hands, knees, and feet.

"Brain cleansed fractured identity
Fragments and scattered debris..."

He takes the hunting stance of a lion, canting his head to the left, then to the right, and a wicked grin crosses his face. Without warning, he takes off towards the ring, leaps onto the ring apron, and grabs the top rope. He stops for a moment to simply embrace the hatred of the fans, the spotlight turning red as he leers.

"Thought Con-ta-gion!"

He arches his back, throws his arms out to his sides, and laughs darkly.

"Thought Con-ta-gion!"

Sekhmethotep grabs the top rope, springboards himself into the ring, and rolls the landing. He ends up in the hunter's position, completely still as the fans cascade their spite.

"Fall down, learn when to count it out,
Prop me up before I black out..."

With those lyrics, the spotlight shuts off and the light ceases the flickering.

"Withdraw before you're out of time
A clean slate and buried war crimes. . ."

In an instant, the lights of the arena all come back on and the Prince is perched on his corner of the ring, a cold smirk on his face, his hands clenching and unclenching slowly.

"You've been bitten by... a true believer
You've been bitten by... someone who's hungrier than you
You've been bitten by... a true believer
You've been bitten by... someone's false beliefs!"

He relieves himself of his jacket, allowing it to fall behind him, and the music is drowned by the booing.

Phoenix: The Prince has shown off his new attitude to the fans tonight, who are giving him hell. Adam Sanders gave his former friend the fight of his damn life. And now, he gets to face someone just as vindictive as he is…

As the bell rings, Sela goes for the double leg takedown trying to get the Prince off of his feet, but Remi comes up with a harsh soccer kick to the face. Sela flies upward and lands on her back. The Prince keeps his hands to the side, as he comes down with a vicious axe kick to her ribs. Sela traps the ankle and rolls him down to the ground, pulling him into a quick ankle lock! Remi rolls himself around like a snake, trying to keep Sela from getting the full pressure on the hold. As she sinks it in, Remi wisely grabs the nearby rope. The referee yells at Sela to release the hold!

Phoenix: Remi tried to get too cute with those kicks, but Sela knows how to make someone pay with that vicious ankle lock. She was looking for that rolling knee bar, but you take what you can get. Remi having to pull himself up after the break.

Remi moves his foot around, trying to show no sign of the torture that Sela put him into. As he moves down to pick up Sela, she grabs him and tries a rollup on him. The referee hits the ground, but Remi weasels out of it and leaps over her with a double stomp to the chest. Sela pops up in a bit of pain as her opponent smiles at her misery. Seeing this, the Mistress of Pain snarls at him and pulls herself up.

Phoenix: That’s a bad idea to make her mad. You don’t have enough Gods powering you to avoid the wrath of that diabolical woman.

Sela sees Remi launching another kick towards her and she ducks under it. However, it’s not in time as the young grappler launches a back kick to her chin. Sela takes the hard shot and tries to grab the knee again. But Remi slips out from her grasp again. This seemingly frustrates her, as Remi comes around and tries to roll her up with a schoolboy… However, as he tries to get a hold of the tights, Sela moves herself around and pulls up a roll-up on him keeping her feet on the bottom ropes.

Phoenix: You’re kidding me! They’re trying to outcheat each other!

Sela keeps him locked in, as the referee hits the mat!

Mackenzie: Your winner, and new number one contender! Sela-Rica Lark!

We see another preview for Crossroad: Spotlight.

Mackenzie: The following main event is for the West Coast Championship. Introducing first…..

Operation Ground and Pound by Dragonforce starts up as Keiji Sugiwara enters teh arena. He is focused and serious as he continues down the ramp. A few fans reach out to slap his hands, but his eyes focus on the ring. As he hits the bottom of the ramp, he nods and dives into the ring before popping up to his feet as his music fades out.

Mackenzie: He is the challenger. From Osaka Japan, standing 5’11 and weighing in at 202 pounds, KEIJI SUGIWARA….

Phoenix: Keiji has been up and down lately but he has a great opportunity right now. He could leave here as the West Coast Champion….

Once the opening chords of "2x4" echo through the arena, Donovan emerges from the backstage area, taking his time to survey the arena and the fans attending the event, with the West Coast Championship belt draped over his shoulder. He holds up the belt and lets out a roar as he makes his way to the ring, which the fans in the arena duplicate, albeit at a much higher volume. Once he reaches the ring, he performs a standing jump from the floor to the apron, pausing long enough to shoot one last look over his shoulder before entering the ring.

Mackenzie: And now, from Oceanside California, he stands 6’6 and weighing in at 270 pounds he is the west coast genesis champion…..DONOVAN BASCH….

Phoenix: Donovan Basch is a beast, a huge man and a great champion…..this should be a great match though.

The bell rings and Donovan looks down at Keiji towering over him, Keiji circles around knowing he can’t lock up and match power with the big man, Donovan lunges to try and get his hands on Jeiji but he is able to dodge out of the way and pepper Donovan with a stiff kick to the thigh, Donovan jumps and holds his meg shaking it out as Keiji stays on alert. Donovan steps away from the side of the ring and measures him up, again he goes to grab him and Keiji moves to the side and hits a spinning heel kick to the midsection of Donovan doubling him over, he then kicks Donovan in the chest to stand him up he turns and hits the ropes springboarding off the middle rope throwing his body back with a back elbow to Donovan sending him down.

Phoenix Keiji uses his speed advantage there peppering Donovan with some strikes before taking to the air, he was able to knock Donovan down but he has to stay on him!

Donovan gets to one knee and Keiji steps in and hits a stiff kick to his chest, then another then another before stepping back and going for a kick to the head, Donovan ducks and stands up, he goes for a clothesline but Keiji ducks and pulls the top rope down causing Donovan to fall over the top rope to the floor. Keiji waits for Donovan to get up and Keiji hits the ropes and sails over with a summersault plancha. He lands on Donovan and pops to his feet before sliding back in the ring and riling up the crowd. Donovan pulls himself up and grabs the bottom rope looking into the ring before yelling at Keiji.

Donovan: STOP THE FLIPPY SHIT

Phoenix: Well The champ seems a little frustrated after that opening flurry but Keiji who is just blindingly fast…..Donovan needs to get his hands on him.

Donovan gets on the apron as Keiji steps back and calls him in, as he steps in the ropes Keiji goes in aggressively, he goes for a right hand but Donovan grabs him and hits a vicious headbut, Keiji stumbles back and Donovan grabs him picking him up for a sitout spinebuster, Keiji bounces off the mat and Donovan smiles stalking Keiji, as he gets to his feet Keiji turns around and Donovan blasts him with a stiff lariat that turns him inside out. Donovan climbs to the top rope and measures up Keiji before leaping off with a top rope senton. He crashed down and spins around hooking Keiji’s leg.

Keiji kicks out and Donovan, shakes his head, he pulls him up for the crucifix powerbomb, he holds his arms out stretched but Keiji lands down behind him and laps up hitting a dropkick to Donovans back making him stumble against the ropes.

Phoenix: Damn Keiji was able to get out of the Crucifix powerbomb. And the kick to the back Donovan hit his throat on the top rope.

Keiji jumps up and locks in a cobra clutch on Donovan wrapping his legs around the much larger man. Donovan stumbles around and tries to get Keiji off his back spinning around, he throws their bodies into the top rope and Keiji holds on, Donovan can’t get him off. He then leaps up throwing his body in the air crashing down onto Keiji pushing the air out of him and forcing him to release the hold. Both men lay on the mat as the referee starts to count.

Donovan rolls to his stomach and starts to push himself up, Keiji holds his ribs and sits up

Donovan gets to one knee as Keiji gets to his feet, he launches a hard right hand and Keiji stumbles back and hits the ropes before launching himself back at Donovan with a crossbody, Donovan catches him and lifts the smaller man in the air for a hard scoop slam. Keiji holds his back and Donovan stomps around riling everyone up. He pulls Keiji into his Crucifix powerbomb, he crashes him to the mat and Donovan calls for the Apocalypse, he lifts Keiji up but Keiji slips out of it he goes for the Saishū fōmu (Superman Elbow).

Phoenix: Oh this could be it!

Donovan ducks out of the way and hits the ropes he goes for a clothesline but Keiji ducks and leaps up onto the middle rope with a moonsault, Donovan catches him in the firemans carry position on his shoulder spinning it into the spinebuster for the Apocalypse he covers

Mackenzie: The winner of the match... Donovan Basch!

The show comes to an end as Donovan holds the title up.
