Fade in on the usual crude setup. Yea you people already know how this works, but this time RC is on his own, holding his title belt at his side.
”Star light, stars bright in the sky. And as they turn we see the change in our own world. The weather goes from hot to cold in the north and from cold to hot in the south as our tiny little blue speck spins around an only slightly larger yellow speck. The changes mark that soon we will transition from the season of dying to the season of rest.”
He pops a smile and a chuckle.
”Okay that was actually pretty good even by my standards. See we have this thing coming up called Winter Solstice. Not only is it a big event in other areas of the world, it is also the event in which Daisy and I of Chaos Love and Damon and Aurora of Rebel Ink finally take our clash to its only conclusion: the tag belts that we have held since the end of the very first match of Redemption.”
He holds up his title belt.
”You know it’s my first ever title. Oh yes, in 14 years in this business and this is my first ever belt. Had many opportunities but always came up short, nearly did again but Daisy saved that dream. She saved a lot of things about me before that and I will forever be grateful to her about that. But recently there was this little thing between Rebel Ink and members of the Pride in which Daisy and I were the guest refs. Now maybe you noticed, maybe you didn’t that we were… distracted from time to time? Actually, we’ll come back to that because there’s something else that needs addressing. See there was this roadshow a little something for the fans as a build up to the Solstice event. Yea, I didn’t fare too great against Aurora, but neither did Damon against Daisy. And now the opponents have switched up, me against Damon and Aurora against Daisy.”
RC shrugs a little.
”I mean, when you really think about it, which may be dangerous in my case, but please bear with me in this, there’s a lot of similarities between our two teams: husband and wife teams, still with a lot to prove in that ring and dedicated to the business like no others. Some of you probably scoffed just now thinking how after our display of chicanery as guest refs, how can we be possibly dedicated to this business? Well to that I say ask my opponent Damon this one question: would you have done any different had the roles been reversed? See it’s not about keeping the win from you, it’s making sure you know that we do know exactly what we are doing at every step of the way. Come on Damon, we both know you’re not one to fib even a little and given the chance to play the mind games with your opponents before a huge match would you not take that opportunity?”
RC grins and nods.
”Oh yes, we’re very much alike, you and I Damon. The Chaos Born versus Perfect Chaos. Mad props to you as ever, but just so you know, even if you had tried that on me, it wouldn’t have worked that well. Because I am Perfect Chaos, The White Tiger RC Tucker, you can’t mess with my mind, I’ve already lost it. BIZAAAAM! And at Glory Damon, for you, it’s Endgame.”
