“Do you know what it is to literally run into a road block? Don’t answer that. It’s not rhetorical, I actually do already know. Hey sixteen, first wheels you know how it is. My parents of course weren’t all too happy about it, but there it is for you anyway. So do you know what it’s like? That’s not just a crashing halt. It’s that jolt that frees yourself because you actually stopped for just a moment to think. I know that sounds completely antithetical to me, and I bet you didn’t even know I knew that word, but believe it or not I do a great deal of it. Sometimes.
“Now my next opponent is someone I actually have to stop and think about. I mean, this is a former heavyweight champ we’re talking about here. Somewhere else yea, but that was me too so I can’t just cross that off from her. The problem is, Coral Rose is the sister to my wife Daisy Rose. Now how do you stop someone who’s probably already got more than everything you ever had? I mean, sisters. They talk. They get into details. Oh God, I hope they didn’t get into that much detail though. May have to hide the sax next time Coral comes to visit. Whew, that’ll be awkward.
“What’s worse is that Coral has had the chance to prepare and me, well Daisy loves watching me struggle, but it’s what makes her happy, knowing that I’m fighting my hardest against an uphill fight. I’ll do anything for Daisy which means I have to be willing to do as much to Coral. I’m sure she won’t thank me for that later, but she’ll understand later when she realizes she never could play this game, she only had a hope to survive it.”
