The Destroyers are fine!
That’s what I keep telling myself. Over and over again. The Destroyers are fine. They’ve been together for almost a year now while tearing it up with NGW. They’ve accomplished so much in such a small amount of time that it’s mind boggling why people write them off. Or even break the team up!
But the writing is on the wall. They’re not fine. They’re far from fine. The luggage is packed and the train is about to leave the station. You should had seen the looks they were giving to one another after that Guardians and Destroyers match. Especially the stink eye to Jack who was pinned. It’s not Jacks fault that none of his team mates stopped the count. But when you have three egos the size of the sun with Shields, Kayla, and Jaxon then there’s consequences when things are going down hill. So instead of looking in the mirror and asking what can I do to help improve the team, it becomes who’s at fault..... because it sure as hell isn’t me.
Shields and Kayla have been former NGW champions during their time with the Destroyers so of course they aren’t going to blame themselves for any of groups behaviors. And Jaxon.....well he hasn’t really accomplished anything, but Kayla isn’t going to blame her brother. And Kayla owns Shields balls so he’ll be nothing but a yes man. So who’s going to be the one to blame when this whole thing finally explodes. The guy that lost the Five Lakes Title to a model and the guy that’s pinned both Kayla and Shields while he was with the Destroyers.
I’ve told Jack this but he’s brushed me off. He knows these people. He’s been in the ring with them. They’ve been in battles on the same side together. Jacks learned so much from them and he can never repay them with everything that they’ve done for him. Jacks blind to his surroundings and it’s going to get him hurt if he doesn’t open his eyes. God.....for a guy that doesn’t let his emotions get the best of him, he sure has let his friendship blind him.
I’ve tried to talk to Chris Constantine about it all but he’s busy expanding the Dogs Of War. I swear, they’re getting more members each and every day. That’s one of the reasons why you haven’t seen or heard Constantine on NGW Television for awhile now. From what I’ve been told by Chris.... “The training wheels are off on Jack.” ..... He can cut a promo and he doesn’t need me to give him advice on what to do during a match. I’ll do everything else like contracts, transportation, and getting him bookings.....but he can handle himself.
I know he can handle himself.....but usually he has people around him. He has the Dogs Of War. He has the Destroyers. But what happens when there’s no safety net for him when the Destroyers turn on him? There’s no Dogs Of War on the NGW roster....and the entire NGW hates Jack for all the sins he’s committed in the past. Jack would truly be alone. I can only pray that I’m just thinking too much and everything will be fine.
