The scene opens up on Daisy as she was pissed off. She hated how because of people wanting to bitch, complain, and whine, Rebel Society were now banned from the ring for Guardians vs Destroyers. Daisy really thought it was bullshit. She knew people on both sides had people who could come down, and try to help out the teams. She knew both sides could pull things to make sure they won. Instead, people wanted to assume things, and bitch. She hated how some felt like people would be biased. To her, it showed Guardians were no better than Destroyers. Both sides were greedy, both were hypocrites. She knew though people wouldn’t see things that way.
She sighs as she shakes her head. She knew she shouldn’t be thinking about that, more so with who she was defending her title against. She would need to be on top of that as she was facing a friend, more so one who she knew would be tough. She wanted the match though. Not first time she’s asked for one. She did it with Mason even. This was a way to show she was willing to face anyone and everyone. She didn’t care who. She wanted to show she was willing to face whoever, and even ask to face people. She was a fighting champion and upheld the title in a better way than others in the past have.
Daisy: Some may think I am crazy for wanting to face my friend in Avery, but why should I not want to? He is in the division, he deserves a shot. He has watched everyone else in the division get a shot but him. That isn’t counting Tee either. He deserves a shot, hell he deserves it more than some people who have had one got. Anyone who thinks he shouldn’t, should really get their head checked. Avery deserves it, and I know he will make the match a must see one. One of the better Spotlight title matches I have had. Come on, two Rebel Society members facing off, two friends facing off, it is worth it. We will go out there, put it all on the line, and show that friends and stablemates won’t matter, and it won’t change a thing.
She pauses as she looks at the wall.
Daisy: Avery knows what he is doing, he knows what he needs to do to beat me, the question is will he be able to. Something tells me he won’t be able to. Avery may be a hall of Famer, maybe a champion in GOL, but none of that will matter here in the ring against me. I am going to do all I can to win, to show why I am one of the best Spotlight champions ever. People may doubt me, may assume I’m not, but at least I am finally facing someone who knows what I am. Someone who will know I will bring it, and am worthy of the title I hold. This is why I wanted to face him as well. Facing someone finally who knows what I have done for the title, knows I’m not some curtain jerker and knows that I put my heart and soul into my matches. Someone who knows I am not just some nobody.
She lightly licks her lips.
Daisy: Sometimes you need to face people you care about to know exactly what you are, to know the others are just talking out their asses. That is what this match is about. Finally getting to face someone who will treat me as the champion I am, treat me like I am somebody. Finally facing someone who will not look down at me. I finally don’t have to sit and push myself harder to face someone who wants to act like I shouldn’t be where I am, or have the records I have. Someone who sees the work I put into getting those records, and that I won’t stop till I do even more. Someone, I don’t feel I have to prove myself to. I know this match will be what it should truly be for, a match for the title, not for trying to prove myself all over again.
She pauses again. She knew how this could be coming off, as she lightly shakes her head.
Daisy: Before people start assuming things, this isn’t me bitching, or complaining about having the title, or being a champion. I love being one, love having the title. No this is me fighting to show why I am a champion, why I have the records for the title. It is me having had enough of people doubting me. It is me speaking up about how some people act. People sit and talk about how bad Destroyers are, and yet they are just as bad. Hell look at some of the things Guardians have said. They don’t want to look at people who have titles as being even with them, or even above them if they are not a member, or fucking a member. They treat us just like the Destroyers do. I am sure they will deny it but it’s the truth. Hey sure mention how we do it, and you know what I may, but I can also tell when a champion is worthy of having the title, and won’t treat them like they are nothing. I don’t care who it is. Some act like some champions are no better than John Blade. Maybe some people should really think about that, and think about how they would feel if they were made out to feel like that. I am sure they wouldn’t enjoy it all that much. Oh some are better than The Destroyers.
She lightly shakes her head, as she smirks.
Daisy: Either way enough of that rant. Avery, I hope you are ready because I am not letting go of this title. I have much more I want to do with it. I may have to beat you, but it won’t change a thing in our friendship. I will see you in the ring, just be prepared for some Chaos.
She heads out of the room she is in as the scene fades out on her.
