There seems to be a slight tension with the Destroyers locker room as I write this. Everyone’s acting like they should, but it’s thick with the negativity. Kayla is jealous that Shields ex wife has been more visible as of late. Especially on twitter. And Matt’s Child, a sweet heart, but Kayla isn’t a fan. Jaxson is here because he’s Kayla’s sister. Foul mouthed and smells of Monster Energy Drinks and cheap colon. Tagging along on Kayla’s name and success. Jack on the other hand tires of the drama. He won’t say it but it crawls underneath his skin. He liked it better when Coda was around. The one thing that the two of them shared was silence and violence. Let Kayla and Shields do the talking while Coda and Jack came up from behind and slit the throats of the competition. But now you have three loud mouths and Jack who would rather let his talking happen in the ring.
The Destroyers best win tonight because if they don’t, I feel like this is the beginning of the end of them. It was a good run I guess. And besides, I think it’d be a good thing if the Destroyers disbanded and broke up. Kayla and Matt were always holding Jack back from his true potential here. Plus, he can bring over his other stable......if it called for it I guess.
But I shouldn’t speak ill of the Destroyers. Or Matt or Kayla and Jaxon. They’ve helped mold Jack into what he is today. Jacks learned from them. Picked their brains. Asked questions and received helpful answers. They took a chance on a 21 year kid and called him friend. They’ve fought together. Had each other’s backs. They have a strong bond. It’s just a chaotic time at the moment. Once the dust settles and calmer heads prevail, the Destroyers will take their rightful spot on top of the NGW roster and control it once again.
As I write this, everyone else is getting ready for the match tonight. Everyone has their own way of preparing. Jacks different though. Especially tonight. Yesterday, Jack had four matches. One in England for Pro Wrestling Paragon. One in Japan for Kamikaze Pro. One in Washington D.C. for CWC. And one in Pittsburgh for NGW. How he made all those matches is beyond me. Something about a teleporter. I don’t know. Way above my pay grade. But he’s tired. His body aches. He needs a break. But he doesn’t complain. He’s just sitting in a corner.....meditating. Calming himself before the battle. Going to what ever place he needs to go to, to get get that killer instinct that he’s known for.
How much longer he can go down this path of destruction of his body and mind I do not know. I hope he dials it back because if he’s not careful he will get hurt. Or worse......he falls out of love with the industry that he loves so much.
End.
