A lot has been going on in Melina Wilson's life. She didn't win the WCG title from Donovan, her husband just up, and left, disappeared, leaving her now seeking a divorce, and also looking for a new house to buy, and live in. She had gone back to Boise for a week or so, just to get her mind off of things, something she needed. While there she had bumped into her old friend from school Nik. It was like old times, them hanging out, talking, and doing things with Tamaki even. He reminded Melina of the good times, times before she lost herself again. She was now coming home, Nik was coming with, as he wanted to see her wrestle in person, plus was going to help her pack, and move. She had left him inside packing up some of the pictures she had in one room, as she headed outside so she could talk about her upcoming match.
As normal, life changes for you, things don't go how you want them to go. It happens, and you try to move on, and look towards the future. That is what I am doing in and out of the ring, in my personal, and professional lives. I am sure some would think I would be upset I didn't want the title, but yet as normal, I am doing, and being the same as I have with all my other loses. They happen sometimes, and I will work harder so next time I will finally beat Donovan, and I will win the title. I won't give up on it. I can't give up on it. It is not part of who I am.
She looks down, as she sighs again softly.
For now though, I have my next match. I am facing Iphy, and Carter, two people my own son likes, who like him, and even gave him presents. Two people who are very nice people. Ones who could hardly hurt anyone unless needed to. Two people who in a way could be friends. I just... this isn't something I am looking forward to. I will though go out there, team with Ryuji, hell only guy who has stuck by my side through everything since I started to wrestle, as we take out Carter and Iphy. We will show them that we are a team to fear, a team to not slack against, a team with tons of experience. Nothing is going to change that. Really... Carter, Iphy, try it, but just be prepared when it fails. Still, I will be seeing you guys in the ring.
She shrugs, as she walks along the beach as the scene fades out.
