Open to a school classroom. A teacher is stood at the front, facing the children.
"We have a special visitor today. He's a professional wrestler. Children I'd like you to welcome Jefferson Sanchez."
Jefferson stepped forward, raising his hand in acknowledgement.
"Good morning everyone. Miss Truman here has asked me to come along and read you a little story if that's ok?"
The children nodded, as Jefferson pulled a book from a bag on the teachers desk.
"Alright then. This is a story called The Bear and Two Travellers. Once upon a time two men were traveling together, when a Bear suddenly met them on their path. One of the men climbed up quickly into a tree and hid in the branches. The other, feeling that he would be attacked, fell flat on the ground. The Bear came up and felt him with his snout, and smelt him all over. He held his breath, and pretended to be dead. The Bear soon left him, for it is said bears will not touch a dead body. When the bear was quite gone, the other Traveler came down out of the tree. With a clever grin, he inquired of his friend, “Just what was it that the Bear whispered in your ear?” His companion replied, “He gave me this advice: Never travel with a friend who deserts you at the approach of danger.”
"You see in my job sometimes you have to rely on other people. You have to stick together. Take this week for example, I'm in a tag team match with a young wrestler named Honey. Now I don't know her myself, but I do know a bit about her. I know she won't desert me. I don't think the same can be said for our opponents however. What I'm trying to say is, surround yourself with people you trust, people you can rely on.
I don't know if any of you are coming down to the show this weekend but I'll be signing autographs before and after, so definitely come and say hi. Come and see me show what its like to be relied upon when someone puts their faith in you. If you can remember this you'll go far in life, in whatever path you choose to take. Thanks for having me today."
