$$$$$ ON CAMERA $$$$$

Mason Moore's House, Las Vegas Nevada
Mason Moore sits in his home gym, a bit of sweat dripping down from his forehead as he looks to have completed a workout. He wipes the sweat away and looks up at his title belt case that now also holds a replica of the NGW Spotlight title right beside the Redemption Wrestling Genesis title belt. He stood up, opened the case and pulled out the replica belt. He sat back down on the bench and looked at the small camera that had been recording.
"For one hundred and twelve days, I held the real thing in my hand. It was the longest reign that any Spotlight, Marquee, or Genesis champion had ever had. I didn't just set the record for days though. I also set the record on title defenses. By the time I reached my second defense, I had done what only eight previous champions had done. When I recorded the third, that number decreased to six. When I recorded defense number five, I had accomplished what only one other previous champion had done. Daisy Rose somehow finds herself in that elite company. Well, I shouldn't say somehow. Everyone knows exactly how she did it. She was handed subpar competition show in and show out. Her only two legit challengers were Karloff and North, but North had some kind of amnesia bull crap and could barely even remember he was a wrestler. When I held this title, I faced champions time and time again. I beat the former champion for my first defense. All but one of my defenses were against people that had held gold in this company, and the one person that hadn't, was the match where I was forced to fight my own damn girlfriend. I had to defend this title in a triple threat match. Daisy damn sure never had to do that."
Mason looked down at the title for a few seconds, knowing it was nothing more than a replica. He shook his head, stood up and put the belt back in place. He sat back down, took a deep breath and looked straight ahead at the camera.
"I can't lie, sometimes it is hard to look up at that belt. It's a reminder of what was taken away from me. It's a reminder that some bitch whined and complained her way in to a second title match after she had already lost to me fair and square. I didn't screw her out of a win, like what was done to me over and over and over when I fought for this title. I had to go out and prove myself to earn another shot after getting hit with brass knuckles and winning the match by disqualification, but she got handed one simply because she didn't get pinned in a triple threat match? It's a reminder that some stupid orange haired bitch and her asshole husband stole my title away from me and I had to jump through hoops to get my rematch. When I won this title, the former champion was given an immediate rematch, and much to the disappointment of management, I beat her and she ran off. I accepted not getting a rematch right away, I figured it would be her second match as champion. That didn't happen though, but I figured there was no way my rematch wouldn't come on the next show. it didn't though. In fact on the show where she was given her second easy defense, I was told that I had to fight for a chance at my rematch."
Mason looks like he wants to punch something, but he stops himself, takes a deep breath, grabs a sip of water and relaxes a bit.
"I lost that match and I have been forced to wait for the rematch I should have gotten months ago. One hundred and twelve days. That is how long I have been forced to wait for my rematch. One hundred and twelve days. That is how long they have kept Daisy safe. One hundred and twelve days. That is how long they have fed Daisy subpar competition to pad her record. One hundred and twelve days. That is how long Daisy Rose has held MY title hostage. One hundred and twelve fucking days, Daisy. Do you know how much anger and rage can build up in three and a half god damned months?”
Mason stands up and this time he punches a small speed bag he had set up, almost knocking it completely off.
"You should not be coming in to day one hundred and twelve of your reign. you should not be stepping in to your sixth defense as champion. I should be celebrating my two hundred and twenty fourth day as champion. I would be going in to my twelfth title defense. on Sunday Night, I should be continuing to make the New Generation Wrestling Spotlight title the most sought after belt in the entire World of wrestling. I should be nearing my second company breaking record. I already have the most defenses of any champion ever. I should be getting close to the days record that's currently held by that clown mask wearing douchebag, Shields. Instead, I have to save that title from a champion who has done absolutely nothing with the belt. I have to rescue the Spotlight title and hope that your reign hasn't sullied it an d destroyed it's credibility so much that there's no hope of me bringing it back to the prominence it carried while it was on my shoulder. So Daisy, you make sure that your husband stays his ass in the back, because I promise you that I will end him if he decides to get involved once again. I swear to you that I will hunt him down in the back, beat the hell out of him and make sure that I end his damn career. He helped you steal what i had fought and scratched and clawed for from my first day here in New Generation Wrestling. If he helps you to keep your stolen property, he will pay a heavy price for it."
Mason stands up, looks at the replica title in the case and raises his hand up to the glass.
"Sunday Night, I get the real thing back and I will break anyone who tries to stand in my way. I have waited for this damn match one hundred and twelve days. I guarantee you that come day one hundred and thirteen, I will have that title back on my shoulder and New Generation Wrestling will once again have a Spotlight Champion that actually deserves to be a champion."
Mason taps his hand against the glass of the case two times as the scene slowly fades.
