Growing up in the rough streets of Compton, California, Charles James learned quickly the art of fighting for survival. He also knew from a young age that he had to do whatever it took to get his family out of that environment. He took up martial arts at an early age. With MMA gaining popularity about the time he was graduating high school, he tried his hand at that. Always wanting a challenge, James decided to further his diverse fighting skill types, James decided to go to a wrestling school in Oakland. He trained with different types of wrestlers, absorbing every different styles into his unique offense, wrestling a tour in Mexico and Japan. Once back in the states, Dead Eye found himself wrestling for NGW, where he quickly became a household name and garnered the attention of other promotions that wanted his services. Although lending temporary services elsewhere, he remained loyal to NGW, where he won the Unified Heavyweight Championship. His reign would be short-lived as he broke his neck during a match. Now, he looks to return to his former glory.
