“All the Glory in the World”
Date: April 15, 2018
Julianna DiMaria is extremely confident heading into the Lest We Forget show in New Zealand and she has every reason to be considering that she was able to pick up the win in her NGW debut two weeks prior at Battle For London. The young upstart out of San Diego is very much looking forward to the event and all she really wants to think about is the reward that is going to come out of winning the entire event with whomever her teammates may be. The former WCG West Coast champion expresses a confident smile on her face full of haughty arrogance as she begins to speak her mind.
Julianna DiMaria: Surprise surprise… I won my NGW debut… NOT! I mean… did you expect anything different? About the only blemish I would say occurred took place after the match when the Blue Man Solo decided to congratulate me. I don’t know WHY he tried to breathe my spotlight, but whatever. Life goes on. All I know is, I am looking forward to Lest We Forget. It doesn’t matter WHO is on my team… unless they are John Blade and Alicia Hixx… dear lord I fucking hope not.... I am going to do what I have done so many times in my early career and that is own the damn spotlight. I mean seriously! How bad can that draw be? How much can it screw me over? I’m glad that I am not on team WCG… I’ll say that much for a fact. Anyway, what is there to say about this event? Well, I know that there are some qualifying matches for the main event with random teams of three chosen at… well… random and then the winners face off in a gauntlet where the winners of THAT get a title match anytime, anywhere they want. So, Washington D.C. better get ready. You know why?
Because I am going to win this event all by myself carrying my team to victory and then I am going to use it to challenge for the NGW Championship! Then, I am going to dethrone Johnny Maverick, become the champion, fulfill my prodigal destiny and then defend that title at WrestleForce at the grandest stage of them all and I will prove once and for all that I am the absolute best wrestler today by SILENCING all you bastards that want to mock me and doubt me! Yes, I KNOW… I JUST got here… and I have only ONE NGW match under my belt… which I WON…
NO that match against Mr. Adrianna Rivers doesn’t count because I was contracted to West Coast Genesis at the time.
Julianna pauses and clears her throat before she continues to speak.
Julianna DiMaria: And people tell me that I should be privileged to see New Zealand but HELL NO… the truth is? New Zealand should be privileged to see me! Why are we even going to New Zealand to begin with? It’s pretty damn random if you ask me. What’s that? This show is a tribute to some other company? What’s that company called? ANZAC Pro? Yeah, I did a little research and NGW absorbed this company or something like that and combined their world title to NGW’s or something to that effect. So… the NGW Championship has roots to some ANZAC company that doesn’t exist anymore. The question here is… why should I even CARE?
I don’t care about ANZAC Pro!
I don’t care that the NGW Championship has roots that trace back to that dead company. I mean, it’s DEAD for a reason right?
I don’t care about the former ANZAC Pro champions like… uh… Prii Foote?
Julianna has a confused and perplexed look on her face, obviously having never heard that name before in her entire life.
Julianna DiMaria: Who in the HELL is Prii Foote? This event is to honor ANZAC Pro and nobodies like HER? EW! Her and Prince… What? Wajthotechoquetzalcuatotous….
What?
Why are we even honoring something that appears to have not been alive for all that long? What is even the point? I don’t want to honor this crap! It’s beneath me! But, whatever I guess. All I care about is the random teams, the title shot, the main event and the GLORY that comes with winning it all! Don’t come up to me and talk to me about Prii Foote and Prince Wachamacolitmotherfuckingsonofawhodunitkrispykreme!
If people like THAT were their top champions, it’s no wonder that ANZAC Pro went the way of the dodo… and the career of Ryan Keys…
But that’s okay, because that is a legacy that is dead, buried and will always remain so! New Zealand is going to witness the beginning stages of a NEW legacy and its name is Julianna DiMaria, the grandest young lioness in this business today and if you don’t believe that, then I might as well take your career and turn it OFFLINE!
You know… OFFLINE like… ANZAC PRO!
Julianna pauses and has a huge laugh to herself as she is clearly not giving a damn about the disrespect she’s been showing to ANZAC Pro throughout a lot of her promo. She finally calms down and begins to finish off her promo for the Lest We Forget.
Julianna DiMaria: And really, it doesn’t matter to me who cries about it. You can’t delay the inevitable! I proved it in WCG when I became the West Coast Champion, I am beginning to prove it starting with my incredible win over former NGW Spotlight Champion Mason Moore, and in this event, when I dominate the whole damn thing and carry whoever my two teammates are all the way, and then go on to become the NGW World CHampion two weeks from tonight when I dominate Johnny Maverick, there will be a LOT of crying! But that’s okay! You all wish you could be me! You all wish you were capable of owning the world like I am! So… be jealous and witness me attain ALL THE GLORY IN THE WORLD! Because really, that’s all you can do when yours truly owns the night in New Zealand… you know… how Anzac Pro never owned anything except for their bankruptcy!
Julianna scoffs after that last shade of disrespect toward ANZAC Pro as she leaves the scene. Soon afterward, the scene fades to black.
