Entrance
“You’ve Got Another Thing Coming” begins to play through the sound system as orange lights illuminate the stage. During the opening guitar riff, Sergio makes his way to the stage with Gabriela by his side. They pause, look around at the crowd, then Sergio slowly raises his arms until they’re even with his shoulders. They then make their way to the ring. Once they get to the ring, the lights begin to alternate between orange and red. Sergio climbs onto the apron and holds the ropes open for Gabriela. After she steps into the ring, Sergio steps through the ropes, climbs onto the second turnbuckle, sticks his arms out again, then lowers them as he slaps his right hand on his chest. Sergio takes off his tank top and tosses it to Gabriela, then jumps down from the turnbuckle. He gives Gabriela a quick kiss, then holds the ropes for her as she takes her place at ringside. Once Gabriela is in position, Sergio waits in his corner for the match to begin.

Career & Personal History
Born in Long Beach, California, Sergio always knew he wanted to get into the professional wrestling industry. As he got older, and more aware of his naturally muscular frame, he began to challenge the other boys in his neighborhood until he had wrestled and defeated everyone that took up the challenge.
Once in high school, he joined the varsity wrestling team, which led to multiple championships on both the regional and state levels. At the age of 17, his father, who was worried about his future should his dream not pan out, insisted he go to college. He ended up majoring in physical education, with the idea of opening his own gymnasium and becoming a personal trainer. It was during his years at Cal State Long Beach where he met Business Management major Alicia Hendricks. After a long conversation, they began discussing their parents. After a few exchanges that seemed to be too real to just be coincidence, Sergio put two and two together and came to the shocking realization that the woman sitting across from him was in fact his older sister. They lost contact for a time after Alicia graduated, and Sergio took a job as a bouncer in a Long Beach night club in order to save up to start his athletic club after earning his Bachelor’s degree.
In 2007, as his shift was ending, he was getting ready to leave the night club, which on this particular night was playing host to a large private party. When he asked the club owner who the guests of honor were, he was told that it was a recently-retired former GWA Tag Team Champion and his fiancée. He proceeded to introduce himself to the couple, and the bride – Sergio’s sister - recognized him immediately.
From that point onward, Sergio began honing his skills in the ring alongside his mentor. He spent a year wrestling on the independent circuit before joining his sister and brother-in-law in the AWA.
