NGW Fan Event
The morning of Legacy: Battle for London NGW held a fanfest event. All of the stars were meeting and greeting fans with one of the stars having one of the longest lines being the Young Lions champion Scotty Latimer. He sits there signing autographs and taking pictures allowing fans to hold the title belt giving them the thrill of holding a wrestling championship on them. Scotty waves a group of fangirls away as a fan wearing a Sex Appeal shirt walks up to him.
Fan: Holy shit man...this is so cool meeting you. I'm such a fan. You are so great in the ring.
Scotty Latimer:Hey thanks...are you excited about the show?
Scotty signs some things for the young man and hands the items to him.
Fan: It going to be awesome. Your match is what I'm looking forward to. Especially after what Damon Graves said about you.
Scotty looks at the fan. He was unaware obviously about what Damon had said. The fan recognized the confused look on the Young Lions champ.
Fan: The promo he cut from the war museum? Here take a look.
Scotty leaned down and watched the promo on the phone. It finished and he leaned back up. He really didn't say anything as he gave a half hearted smile and stood up. He put the title belt over the fan's shoulder and took a photo with him. He shook the kid's hand and excused himself for a few minutes and went out of the auditorium into the hall back behind it . One of the NGW camera crew members was recording footage from the fanfest as Scotty called him over.
Scotty Latimer: Hey John….you recording? Point the camera at me.
The camera gets turned towards him as Latimer smiles.
Scotty Latimer: You know here we are at the Legacy fanfest here in beautiful London, England enjoying meeting all the fans and interacting with everyone when one of them shows me a promo cut by Damon Graves who decided he was going to manipulate truths and call me out on certain issues. Well….let here is my response. I respect Damon Graves….the last time we faced. I lost by a countout and I remember saying we needed to have a rematch. As usual time has passed in the NGW universe and finally the match will be happening. However I thought that we had a mutual respect for each other….but after watching you from some war museum because you needed an some kind of visual effect to cover your lack of charisma I guess we can just go ahead and throw respect out of the window.
You see obviously Damon Graves is channeling the thoughts of NGW management….which isn't all to suprisinging considering he's best buddies with the gm. Let me go ahead and set your little rant straight. First off….I'm proud of being the NGW Young Lions champion. I wanted to defend it as much as I could but the office threw backlash at me...including talent like Daisy Rose and Mason Moore. So I had to let that fade away. I had other opportunities to be in other companies where I also found success...and you know what they did that NGW didn't do? They promoted me...they didn't just promote their favorites or certain groups and gave me other opportunities...so yeah I tweet more about those places because those shows happen more often than these do. I mean hell how long have we been on an European tour for God's sake?
I am the NGW Young Lions champion whether you….Richards...Scott...or any other person likes it or not.and at Battle for London that's not going to change. You want to disrespect me when I have done nothing to you but show your ass respect and wanted you to get another shot at the Young Lions title? Fine...congratulations for the first time Damon you have caught someone's attention.
Oh….there was something else you said….you said I had a “I just shit my pants” look on my face? Kid….there is nothing about you I would ever shit in my 300 dollar a pair pants or any set of my 200 dollar wrestling trunks about. I don't sweat a Johnny Generic punk like you. The only people that think you're special is your best friend in high places that granted this match and any other NGW talent that prays that somehow someway you take the title away from me. But you know what Graves? You beating me by countout is the only way you will ever beat me.And that's not me being arrogant...it's just the facts.
You see...I'm a star outside of New Generation Wrestling….and it's not my problem that you or NGW management can handle that. I worked my ass off to accomplish everything I have….and you think you have the right to question me when you haven't done shit not only in NGW but anywhere else. You cut your little promo from a war museum...you want to go to war? We will at Legacy….and it will be a war...until the Final Wave comes crashing down on you. And I will be the winner...and I will hold up that belt high in the air right over your beaten broken body. Consider this your receipt. Now if you excuse me...I have fans to greet. Because unlike you I actually have some.
