Kaylee: Excuse me, can you help me?
The older, gray haired man behind the counter looks her up and down and smiles.
Man: Sure thing. What can I do ya for?
Kaylee: So I am trying to surprise my husband.
Man: Oh.
Kaylee: He is into comics and games and stuff, and I.. well… this is all Latin to me. This is all a foreign language.
Man: Okay. What is it you are looking for? A comic? A game? Perhaps an action figure?
Kaylee: Well… see the thing is I need an outfit.
Man: Outfit?
Kaylee: You know, those people that dress up as people.
The man scratches his head for a minute and thinks to himself.
Man: Let me get my nephew. I am good to go when it comes to comics, but that sort of thing.. Hold on.
He yells towards the back of the store.
Man: Albert. Get up here.
A kid that looks to be barely eighteen years old stumbles his way up to the front counter. Messy hair, glasses that are falling off of his face, and clothes that seem to not fit his build at all.
Man: Albert. This young lady needs some help.
Albert takes one look at her.
Albert: Wait- wait a minute… are you…
Kaylee blushes and smiles.
Man: Wait, who is this? Who are you?
Albert: Uncle Dante, this is Kaylee Kassie. She is a professional wrestler.
Dante: Oh really? Well, isn’t that something.
Albert: Do you think I can have you-
Dante: Albert! She came here to look for something-
Kaylee: Oh, it’s fine. It’s fine. I would be happy. But do you think you can help me, Albert?
Albert: Sure.
Kaylee: My husband-
Albert: THE JEW BLAZER!
Dante: ALBERT!
Albert; That is his wrestling name.
Kaylee laughs.
Kaylee: Yes, it is. And yeah. Joshie. He suggested something to me that he thought would be silly but I want to do it for him. You know, newly married and all. Plus I am trying to make nice with a friend of his that likes video game-
Albert: JESSICA SEARS!
Kaylee: Well. Wow. You know your stuff then.
Albert nods.
Kaylee: I am looking for an outfit.
Albert: You want to cosplay?
Kaylee: Yes! That’s the word. Cosplay!
Albert: Did you have someone in mind?
Kaylee: Joshie teased about a girl name… T-something. Um… Ti… Tifa?
Albert: Tifa Lockhart. Final Fantasy VII.
Kaylee: Yes. Her! Can you show me a picture of her?
Albert grabs his phone and searches the web, finding other cosplayers, some manga, as well as the character in the game itself. She covers her mouth as she could not believe what Josh had in mind. What a little devil, she thought.
Kaylee: Joshie…
She shakes her head. Dante blushes a bit at the images, some of them were racy. Kaylee thought it was a good plot to get her to wear something skimpy as well as looking like a video game character that he obviously thought was hot.
Kaylee: Okay Albert. I need some help.
Albert: Well, here is a bunch of character figures. Why not look them over?
Kaylee heads around the counter and looks at the shelves upon shelves of unboxed figures. She looks over classics like Wonder Woman and Supergirl, she sees characters from Dead or Alive and Lara Croft, and she even looks over some Mortal Kombat figures.
Kaylee: Ooooh! That one! I have an outfit like that?
Albert: Which one?
Kaylee: The one in red!
Albert: That is Skarlet. She came about in the Mortal Kombat game in 2011. She is known as a very ferocious fighter that uses blades. Very badass.
Kaylee: Perfect. Do you have any cosplay blades or whatever?
Albert: No, but I have a buddy that makes them. Let me give you his instagram.
Albert grabs a square of paper and writes down some information.
Kaylee: I want to buy that figure. And if you have anything else to go with her.
Dante: Perfect. I will go ahead and wrap it up.
Kaylee: I also want something special for Joshie. He has a lot of stuff.
Albert: I might have the perfect thing.
Kaylee: Awesome.
Kaylee gives the young man a kiss on his cheek.
Albert: You give hope for us nerds everywhere.
Kaylee: Being a nerd is a mindset, sweetie. Just be you. Don’t be something you are not. Joshie was always himself, and that is what I loved. Hot girls dig nerds.
Albert blushes some as he grabs something special for Josh as a present from Kaylee.
Kaylee Kassie stands in front of the camera with a simple backdrop. She is wearing a red latex outfit and has an oversized cosplay blade weapon in her hand.
Kaylee: “This thing is not comfortable.”
Off camera, Josh whispers.
Josh: “We are filming.”
Kaylee: “Shit. Oh. Okay. Hello Guardians. Jessica and Adrien. Joshie thought it might be interesting to see me cosplay or whatever it is called. I am not so sure I am doing it right. I know that Jessica and I wrestled early on in the Global Cup and things got personal. I am not here to do that. You beat me, and I ate my words. I am someone that can suck it up and move forward. That said, I was both sad and happy to see you both lose two weeks ago. I was hoping that The Destroyers would lose the titles, but I also want a chance at them. While they are battling the team of Blade and Hixx, the true tag team division battles on with Radicaliiance 2.0 versus The Guardians. I have nothing negative to say except good luck. Ronnie and myself are ready for this as we came back to team to win gold, simple as that. And we intend on doing so. You both are great wrestlers, and that is obvious. This match will be the lead for the tag team division, and the winning team better make good on their promises to go on and defeat The Destroyers. They’ve held the titles long enough with doing nothing for them. It is time a real team focuses, established, and honors the division for the teams that came before us; Chaos Love, Rebel Ink, and the team of Josh and Ronnie before I joined. London, here we come.”
