The scene opens to an old school set up; a backdrop with a plain wall behind them. The two people in the frame, El León Azul and Allyce Soto. They stand as if it were an interview-like shoot to address Azul’s debut, his intentions with Levi Adams, and his future in New Generation Wrestling. Azul begins to speak, albeit in Spanish. Allyce looks at her boyfriend as she appears to be listening to every one of his words.
"Levi Adams. Hace dos semanas nos encontramos, y no fue una buena escena. Decidiste marcharte al personal de NGW, algo que encontré irrespetuoso. Allyce looks back at the camera ready to translate for the man that is not only her boyfriend, but the man that is the wrestler she manages.
“Levi Adams. Two weeks ago, you and my León ran into each other, and it was not a good place to be. You decided to interact poorly with the staff of NGW. This was something that he found to be disrespectful. He gave you the opportunity to do the right thing but you failed to do that. León took it upon himself to show you the way. He wanted to show you the light. My León said that…
She looks over at him and places a hand on his chin, turning his attention from the camera to her. It was obvious the passion that the two of them shared, as his eyes and focus were on her. She turned her head back towards the camera, but his eyes did not leave her. She was his muse, his focus. She was mesmerizing to him, and there was nothing he could do to break it. Nor did he want to break it.
“He was once lost in this maze of life. He was lost and could not find his way. He would go through everyday just living it one moment to the next without seeing what the future was. But then he found his way. León found the path to being the man he always wanted to be.”
She smiles and blushes some before continuing, knowing that she was the focus of some of what he said.
“León said that I helped him to realize things that hurt him. He realized what pain was, and how to avoid it. And I helped to take away the pain that he long suffered. Pain of an absent father. Pain of never being good enough. Pain of feeling he had found love, but it was all just…”
He lowers his head as she lifts his chin back up. She did not want León to get down on himself, and would never let him. He helped to raise her up, and she vowed to always do the same for the man that she loved.
“Nevermind talk of the past, León.”
She looks back at the camera.
“León said that we all make decisions in life that hurt us. And they hurt the ones around us. But you can make things right. You can do better. He did better.”
She blushes a bit more.
“And I have helped him become the man he always wanted to be.”
She places both hands on his face and kisses him before turning back to the camera once more.
“Levi, this is from me now. Take what my León says to heart. He is a good man. And he was once in a dark place. He has come here to NGW to show people the way. The way to live a positive life. To move away from the darkness. To move away from the pain. And I am here by his side to help him.”
She locks arms with him as she continues.
“Not just you, Levi. We are here to help the entire roster live up to their potential. To fully realize their own greatness. To not be held back by anything… or anyone. It is a shame if anyone were ever to hold you back.”
Azul places a hand on her shoulder as if to stop her, but she continues.
“León was once held back by someone. And he suffered because of it. He suffered as a wrestler. He suffered as a man. That person has moved on and it is for the best. I have joined his life as we have helped each other come out from the darkness. We have helped each other become better people. And looking back at the ones that held León back, they have not changed. Some people do not grow up. Some people do not mature. And it is a shame. We can control what we can. And we can only help so much. We hope that we can help you, Levi Adams. We hope that we can show you the light. Show you the way. Show you the path to becoming what you should be. My León is my love. He is my all. And he helped to rescue me from the nothing that I was living. Full of potential and wonder, he helped me realize that I am better than I thought. And you can do the same. Just ask, Levi. Ask for help. Accept the help. We are here to help. We want to help, Levi. Just allow us.”
Allyce finishes speaking before she turns back towards her boyfriend, and the two of them look into each other’s eyes as the video comes to an end.
