Scotty: Yep….that sounds good to me.
The barber looks at Scotty as he puts on the barber sheet across his chest.
“You are going to look so different kid. Like a whole new person.”
Scotty: That's the plan Stan. I need to change up some things.
Stan was actually the barber’s name. Scotty had been coming to Stan his whole life basically. He was the only one that Scotty trusted. It was a regular thing to do every time he came back home to Brooklyn. It was a comfort thing for him. Out of the chaos of his pro wrestling career...his modeling career...coming home for his monthly haircut to see Stan the man..who's barber shop was a staple in Brooklyn and was still visited upon by hundreds of loyal long time patrons was a calming time for the NGW Young Lions champion. Stan got to work.
“I like the beard you got kid...I think the haircut will go very well with it.”
Scotty laughed as he watched the master go to work.
Scotty: Yeah...I like it...Ruby likes it...which is way more important than me or anyone else liking it because I really really enjoy her kisses and the other stuff we do.
Stan shakes his head...as he continues his work.
Stan: How is she? I haven't seen her in a little while. She used to always come in with you.
Scotty: Well...she just became Empire Pro Wrestling Great Lakes Champion…...so she's now busy with that. We don't work in promotions together anymore but we go to each others shows as much as we can. She isn't here because I'm heading to London for NGW….and she doesn't go to those because of...well...certain people.
Scotty’s thoughts wander a little but comes back when Stan kept talking.
Stan: She is one beautiful amazing woman kid.
Scotty: Yeah she is….she's a very special person. I thank God everyday when I wake up next to her.
He started missing her right then and there. For a few moments the two men stayed silent as Stan continued his work.
Stan: So where are you heading after this?
Scotty: Dublin….title defense against Kaylee Kassie
Stan: Well alright then….
Scotty started thinking about his Young Lions title...how he wished he could get more defenses...how he wanted to make the belt more prestigious. On this ungodly long European tour this was only his second title defense. He had butted head with management about it but it was just not worth the fight anymore. He had decided to just be the good soldier. No matter how much it sucked to give up on something.
Stan: Alright….all done. What do you think.
Scotty looks at the new do. He smiles as he had been right….so was Stan.
Scotty: I do look like a completely different person. But here's the moment of truth.
He snaps a selfie and sends it to Ruby. He waits a few minutes then got his reply.

Scotty smiled as he sent her a love emoji back.
Scotty: It looks awesome Stan. You are a magician.
He hands Stan 40 bucks...20 for the haircut...20 as a tip he always gave him extra for those free haircuts he gave him as a kid he never had to give him and says his goodbyes. He walks outside into the familiar Brooklyn scene and air as he looks around. He waits for the Uber to take him to the airport….to Dublin...to defending his title against Kaylee.
A new haircut does wonders...Kaylee better be ready for the new look Scotty Latimer. Despite the new do...he was still the #FutureElite...Kaylee was going to be hit with the FFIINNAALLL WWAAVVEE!!! And Scotty will walk out still NGW Young Lions champion.
