The scene opens up to Kimo sitting in a chair across from another individual holding a notepad.
Guy: Hi, Guy Harris from Blackbelt magazine here with actor, MMA icon, and recently declared WCG Superstar, Kimo. (He turns to Kimo) Kimo, once again I can't thank you enough for setting aside time in your schedule for this interview.
Kimo: No problem. Glad to be here.
Guy: Now you're coming off of a win against Ryuji Takahashi 2 weeks earlier at Unscripted. How do you feel returning to the ring after all this time in Hollywood?
Kimo: It feels great. Even more so because I walked away with the W at the end of the night.
Guy: What made you decide to come back?
Kimo: Well, I mostly did it because the fans wanted me to. Even as I was going about my day-to-day life, I got the occasional wrestling fan that asked me if I was ever going to return to the ring.
Guy: And of course you're not wanting to leave your fans wanting. Now for those who are trying to become the next Kimo, do you have any advice for those just starting to set out on that trail?
Kimo: Sure. First of all don't try to be the next Kimo, one of me is enough! Just ask my fiance, Kate. Be the first of You. You have something to give that no other person can and you can't show it by trying to be like somebody else.
Second, I didn't get where I am by sitting on my ass. I've studied martial arts since I was young and it instilled in me the discipline that I would need to become the person I am now. Those of you who know who I am are already aware of this. Both of those of you who don't, let me give you a brief rundown of my credentials.
Black belt in Kyokushin Karate, Judo, and Brazillian Jujitsu
Kru certification in Sityodtong Muay Thai.
NCAA Heavyweight champion in freestyle wrestling.
Two-time Undisputed Heavyweight Champion for Proving Ground Fighting Championship, and International Champion for the Asylum Wrestling Alliance. Not to mention a relatively successful movie career.
These achievements did not come easy. They took dedication, discipline, skill and sacrifice. The sooner you learn that, the clearer your path will be.
Guy: Now your next opponent is Keiji Sugiwara at Hype. What are your thoughts going into this match and do you have any words for your opponent?
Kimo: I'm looking forward to it. I haven't gone up against a lot of High Flyers, so I'm definitely looking forward to the challenge. Ask for anything that I'd like to say to my opponent, do you mind if I turn the camera for that?
Guy: Of course, go ahead.
Kimo: Keiji, I read up on you. You like to have fun. While I can't disagree with that statement, I have just one rebuttal to that. Whether there are 8 sides or four, the ring isnt a playground, brah. There is no room for fun while you are in there. You step between those ropes, especially against me, you step onto a battlefield. And just like any other battlefield there are two things that have to happen, someone has to win and someone has to lose. This isn't Disneyland, bro. We're not here to have fun, we're not here to play, we are here to show the world who is better. You've been in this game long enough to know that if you don't take this seriously you're going to wind up getting hurt. And come Saturday, you're going to find out just how serious I am. So you better come prepared. I don't expect my opponents to come at me with anything less than 100%. If you don't, I will personally make sure you regret taking me lightly.
