The scene opens up inside of Daisy, and RC’s hotel room. Daisy was sitting, doing a Skype video chat with her sister Coral. They were discussing Daisy’s upcoming match. Both have a good laugh.
Coral: Lemme guess they are sitting, acting like you are nothing, acting like you are way far below them, among other things, right?
Daisy: Well yeah, but given how they were towards you, it is expected. Honestly, I don’t even care. They say people change, most do. Some, like Billy, and Scotty, they don’t. If anything they get worse.
Coral nods her head, as she laughs.
Coral: Look at it like this, they only look out for themselves, and Ruby. They have shown that. They only needed the rest of us around to help them. How many times did Billy win because of me? Plenty.
Daisy: Yeah I know. He helped you win the title when you actually said no, you didn’t want help, and it wasn’t even to help you, it was for his own selfish reasons. Really Coral, does it matter? Look at the good now.
Coral: Yeah I am happy now, less stressed. Seriously Seattle pro did put a lot of pressure on me. Others put pressure on me. Always wanting me to be something they wanted, not what I wanted. With Horsemen gone, I am still friends with the others. I mean I was also nice enough to give up the plans Mason, and I had for Queen and Machine, so he could team with his girlfriend for the tag team trials. I am seeing who my real friends are. I know when I do fully come back full time, I will be right where I want to be with my life, and how I look at things.
Daisy: You are right. Still back on Billy, and Scotty. I bet they are going to act like they are something great if they win like they accomplished something. Like they are better than the rest of us. You know what, I’m going into this with a plan, one that is going to be very fun.
Coral: Sounds about like you. Just go out there, do your own thing, well Chaos Love’s thing. I know you are good at doing that. Show them why you guys may not be normal, but you are far from what others think you are. If can, make them your bitches. Show them you don’t need their approval or words. Be true to yourself, that is what matters the most Daisy.
Daisy nods her head, as she knew Coral was right. She smiles lightly, as she was already thinking about what RC, and she could do in the match. Considering it is them, anything is possible, and people fail to realize that. Before she can say anything else though, the door opens, and in walks RC pushing Kathleen’s stroller. Daisy could tell Kathleen was sound asleep as she smiles.
Daisy: Hey babe, just talking with Coral about our upcoming match.
Coral: Hey RC. I’ll let you go Daisy, so you two can talk. I’ll talk to you later.
RC: Hi Coral.
Daisy turns back to the screen.
Coral: Sure, that sounds good. I’ll talk to you later.
They hang up on each other before Daisy turns to RC.
Daisy: We got some planning to do.
She gives him a devilish smirk, as he nods his head knowing she was up to something. He gets Kathleen out of the stroller, as the scene fades out.
The scene opens up later on Daisy as she is in a park alone. She is sitting under a tree, looking down at her Spotlight title. She smiles as she was happy she had won it. Sure she wasn’t happy with who she has defended it against, but that was out of her hands, and she at least had a few other people she will be defending against if she holds onto it after the first one. She shakes her head lightly.
Daisy: You know, it’s funny the way some people talk, or just act like they know things when really don’t. Hell even lumps you into things that have nothing to do with you. Hell, even make themselves look like hypocrites. Take Tillman for starters. It’s funny he talks about how Scotty, Billy, RC, and I always talk about what we do in other companies. Ummm wait, I have only been in NGW, so someone explains to me how am I always bragging about what I have done in other places? I really am stumped on that one. Only titles I have held, have been in NGW. It’s funny that’s all we talk about, but yet pretty sure he started off talking about all he has to do this weekend. About the travels, he has to do. Hell, he even walks around with the titles from other places. Hey, what do I know?
Daisy keeps looking at her title, as she lightly laughs.
Daisy: It’s funny, I’m supposedly not good enough in NGW according to Kayla, I supposedly was better when I was tag champ in Redemption. Really, it’s sad how some people may have talent, but really just let some of the most dumbest things come out of their mouths. Hell I would have thought Kayla more so would have something more better to say, something more correct to say. Hell really, all she did was make herself come off almost like Scotty, and Billy with her comment. Kayla really should think about that for a few minutes, let it really sink in. Say what you want though, really it won’t matter. I get the pleasure to sit here, and realize I get to defend my title against Martin, and after Mason, while you are stuck defending against Johnny Maverick. I think for me being not good enough, I least am coming out with the better ones to defend against than Johnny Maverick. You will have to get in the ring with him. Actually, all I can do now is laugh at that thought. Maybe you should focus on that more, than saying someone isn’t good enough.Wait, forgot who I was talking about, the one who needs her “family” to help her win.
She sighs softly, as she shakes her head.
Daisy: Really it matters not a bit what most say. Each team has their strengths, each team has their weaknesses. Each team has some meaning, is something in their own way. It will all come down to who wins in the end. The team whose heads are so far stuck up their asses, the team that looks down on everyone because they hold most of the titles or the team that you never know what you get, but unlike the rest are a team outside of the ring as well. Till that time, though just wait, and see what can happen.
She smiles, as she stands up. She starts walking away, as she puts the title over her shoulder. The scene fades out on her walking away.
