-Telephone Press Conference between Chris Constantine and a local French Sports News Paper.-
French Sports Reporter: “Thank you very much Mr. Constantine for this opportunity to talk to you on this press tour for NGWs show in Paris. I know that you’re a very busy man and you have many more questions with other reporters so I only have a few questions for you.”
Chris Constantine: “Go right ahead then.”
French Sports Reporter: “Well first, I’m just curious. Why isn’t Jack apart of this interview? I know he’s a very busy man so I’m just wondering why he wasn’t able to make it for this media tour.”
Chris Constantine: “Well firstly he’s sorry that he wasn’t able to make it. Unfortunately he has a match in Japan for the NJFC Heavyweight Title against Chandler Scott. He’ll be back in time for his triple threat tag team match though so if he’s in the right mood he might be able to ask some questions after the show.”
French Sports Reporter: “Fair enough Mr. Constantine. Now Olivia Newman, how has her training been coming along?”
Chris Constantine: “It’s coming along as scheduled. We’re not pushing her to fast but she’s not slow about learning new things. She’s keeping her ears open, her mouth shut, and asking questions. That’s what I like to see and that’s what makes a good young wrestler.”
French Sports Reporter: “Do you have a date for her first match?”
Chris Constantine: “That won’t be coming for another year. I don’t like putting rookies out there until I feel that they are ready. When one of my clients are out in that ring, they represent me as much as they represent themselves. I only put the best out there and I only have my name behind the best.”
French Sports Reporter: “Last question. With Jazmyn Rains loss against Adrien Cochrane in Germany, does she deserve or even stand a chance against Jack Tillman and the Five Lakes Title? I mean Jack just beat the NGW Champion in Kayla Richards.”
Chris Constantine: “He did and it was one hell of a fight if you haven’t seen it yet. If Jack and Kayla had ten matches I’m sure it would be an even tie because the two of them are that damn good. But to go back to your earlier question about does Rain deserve a Title Shot at Jack? No. She didn’t deserve one in their first encounter and she doesn’t deserve one now. She can bitch and moan about how she was screwed over in her last match but that’s wrestling, alright. People get screwed over on each and every card. And if you didn’t see a screw job coming then you weren’t ready to fight in that match. Always prepare in the back of your mind that something fishy is going to happen.”
French Sports Reporter: “But she did deserve a Title shot against Jack. She earned it.”
Chris Constantine: “You mean that little Gauntlet Match that happened back in Spain? Tell me who did she beat in that match? Did she come out number one and fight her way to the end? Did she beat Billy Danielson, Alan Envy, or Keg to get that title shot? No. She came out last and beat that gimmick wrestler Jew Blazer. So she didn’t earn anything and this match against Jack will just be another attempt by NGW to have a sports entertainer hold the belt. A model who, if you look on her twitter feed, doesn’t have one single photo of her in a wrestling ring. A pretty little face who doesn’t have any photos or gifs of her performing a move or applying a submission on her opponent. I’m sorry but if you consider yourself a wrestler, then maybe you should have some pics of you in a wrestling ring. But she doesn’t. That’s why I call her out and proclaim that she’s a sports entertainer and not a professional wrestler like my client Jack Tillman.
And say that there is some act of God that she does win. Do you honestly believe that the Five Lakes Title will be in better hands with her? What is she going to do to help elevate it? Is she going to give it some pride? Some honor? Is she going to go all emotional with it? I’ve been in this industry for over 30 years and it’s a nice little story at first, but sooner rather than later the fans aren’t going to give a shit about little miss goody two shoes and her honor and respect. That crap might had been a good seller back in the 70s and 80s but this is 2018. Being an asshole sells and Rains is going to learn that the hard way. And besides, with the track record of the Five Lakes title and all of its defenses from past to the current champ......she isn’t going to do anything with it. At least with Jack holding it, it’s getting seen outside of a NGW ring. He brings it to UKWF over in England. He’s taking it with him to Japan for NJFC and Kamikaze Pro. He’s showing it off to Mexico with GOL. Hell, he’s shoving it in the face of CWC with every event he goes to. He’s bringing that title world wide and because of it he’s getting more eyes on the NGW product than if Jazmyn Rain or anyone else on the NGW were to hold that belt. So you can bad mouth Jack all you want but at least he’s getting more eyes on this product. And if Rain gets the title? Who’s watching then huh? Who in Japan or Mexico or England is going to know what NGW is? Because Rain isn’t going to those countries. She’s not going to make the effort to go outside of the US. She doesn’t have that drive because at the end of the day....she’s nothing more than a sports entertainer.”
French Sports Reporter: “Well thank you very much Mr. Constantine and give my best to Jack and Olivia.”
