Starre Farewell Match

NGW Five Lakes Championship
Submission Match
Hayden Phoenix(c) vs Tee Voland

Semi-Main Event
Non-Title Match
Bronx Valescence(c) vs Avery Miles
[Bronx walked away winner as the Unified Heavyweight Champion. Avery Miles looks at a huge opportunity with facing the champion in a non-title match. Bronx looks to use Avery as a tune up match for his match to defend the title against Carmine at "All Wrapped Up" in two weeks.]
Match 3
Carmine Reaper vs Dead Eye
[Carmine is coming off of a loss by way of some illegal tactics while Dead Eye is the man that holds a title shot a HOMECOMING: II. Carmine has a rematch in two weeks for the Unified Title. Can he show the newcomer what a champion is made of and move into "All Wrapped Up" with a win?]
NGW Marquee Championship

Cory takes advantage of the momentum and throws her over the top rope]

Opening Match
John Blade vs Tara Blackhart
[We open live as we see the commentary team of LC Jackson and Michael West sitting ringside]
West: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to NGW Vendetta live on AXS-TV. We are live from the E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Thanksgiving has passed, the cranberry sauce has been consumed, and Black Friday is over. We are two weeks from "All Wrapped Up", our first Supershow live on AXS-TV and our last show of the year. We are getting closer to Christmas and New Years, and not too far from NGW's one year birthday!
Jackson: Wow... one year already! It has been one fast year. And don't forget, we will have the NGW End of Year awards at "All Wrapped Up" as well. To get the show started, we already have the opponents inside of the ring.
[We move to in-ring as we see John Blade and Tara Blackhart standing mid-ring]
Shae: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is our Opening Match. First from El Paso, Texas... TARA BLACKHART!
[The crowd boos]
Shae: And from Boston, Massachusetts weighing in at 251 pounds... JOHN BLADE!
[The crowd cheers]
DING DING DING
[The match begins as Blade immediately goes in for Tara. He takes her down with a clothesline. She falls to the mat on her back and pops back up. Blade turns and clobbers Tara from behind, sending her face first into the mat. Blade grabs Tara and picks her up followed by a German Suplex dropping Tara on her head. Blade transitions for the cover]

[Kickout by Tara]
West: Great offense by John Blade.
[Blade gets to his feet as he grabs Tara to lift her up. She grabs the head of Blade and drops to her knees hitting a jawbreaker to John Blade. He stomps the mat and whips backwards. Tara quickly moves to him for the cover]
ONE

[Kickout by John Blade]
Jackson: A win for John Blade here over the former champ would definitely go a long way!
[Blade uses the ropes to pull himself up as Tara Blackhart uses her hands to push herself up. Blade turns towards her looking for a clothesline as she ducks. Tara reaches up for a full nelson, but Blade is able to flip her over his head and drops her down hard to the mat]
Jackson: What a counter!
[Blade grabs Tara to pull her up as she blatantly low blows Blade, dropping him to his feet holding his groin as the ref calls for the bell]
DING DING DING
West: What did she just do? Why? Why Tara?
[The ref yells something at Shae Jackson]
Shae: Ladies and gentlemen... your winner via Disqualification... JOHN BLADE!
[The crowd has a mix of boos for the ending and cheers for Blade winning]
West: And John Blade earns his first win in New Generation Wrestling!
[We break for commercial as a video for the Main Event plays]
[Segment]
[We return from commercial as we cut backstage where the newest signee of NGW is standing by a wall. D.C. Wiland, clad in a tailor-made suit, takes off his shades as he looks at the camera with a wide smile on.]
D.C. Wiland: Surprise!
[He puts the sunglasses into his pocket.]
D.C. Wiland: Mama Wiland's First Son is here, baby! You know, the last time I was in the ring, carrying a World Championship no less, wrestling didn't feel fun anymore. It was all personal grudges and stuff, you know, I didn't quite enjoy it. But now that I'm back, I'm ready to make wrestling fun again!...
[The wide friendly smile is replaced by a cocky grin on Wiland's face.]
D.C. Wiland: ...for me. As far as you, the other guys, go... you just get ready for a wild ride with uncle Deez. See you soon.
[Wiland walks away as we cut back to ringside.]
NGW Marquee Championship
Dirk Dagger(c) vs KEG
[We return to Shae standing mid-ring]
Shae: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the NGW Marquee Championship! First from Beer Bottle Crossing, Idaho, standing 6’ 2” and weighing in at 200 pounds even…This! Is! KKKKKEEEEEEGGGGGGGG!
[Like a magnet, KEG stumbles over to a fan at ringside and takes the fans beer. KEG downs the beer in one gulp, impressing all who witness it, and then KEG also grabs the fan's hot dog. He chows down on the hot dog as he climbs into the ring. He now walks over to the ring announcer, grabs the microphone and emits a loud belch into the microphone as the fans cheer (except for some of the ladies)]
Shae: And from Dallas, Texas weighing in at 200 pounds... the NGW Marquee Champion... DIRK DAGGER!
["Asshole" by Denis Leary hits over the PA system, sending the entire arena into a blanket of profanity as the song spouts off the various crude and vile things done. Then, Dirk steps out from behind the black curtain to a massive chorus of boos and jeers from the fans. Loud enough that some fans are shown covering their ears because of the pure hatred and angering emotions that this man can bring out in the common man. He grins as he poses for the fans, a few camera flashes and cellphones are seen taking snapshots of this one of a kind megastar. He now walks over to the center of the ramp and the theme music now changes to: "Chaney Can't Quite Riff Like Helmet's Page Hamilton" by Evergreen Terrace as he now walks down the aisle, very slowly, to make sure the fans all get their glimpse at the Greatest Wrestling Icon in the history of this federation. (Yes he is that egocentric that he has two entrance themes)]
West: The will be an matchup that could spell some future matches for NGW. KEG is a three time Five Lakes Champion, and winning here would make him the person to hold two different NGW titles. If Dirk Dagger wins, it would help to establish him as the face of the Marquee Division.
[The ref calls for the bell]
DING DING DING
[Dirk smiles a bit at KEG with a cocky edge to it. They move in to lock up, as KEG takes control. Immediately KEG slides behind Dagger and takes him down with a German Suplex. KEG holds up and pulls Dagger up with him. KEG lifts up the champion and executes a KEGSLAM (running powerslam) driving Dagger to the mat]
Jackson: Wow! KEG with some force there!
[KEG drops for a pin]
ONE
TWO
THR--
[Dirk barely kicks out]
West: KEG almost stole a win there!
[KEG pops back up to his feet and eggs Dagger to get up. Dirk gets to one knee as KEG pulls him up by his hair. KEG picks him up and nails a KEGSTAND (Brainbuster) to Dagger sending him hard to the mat a second time. KEG drops for the cover while hooking both legs]
ONE

DING DING DING
Shae: Your winner and new NGW Marquee Champion... KEG!!!
West: Before we step away from the broadcast, we are getting word that Tara Blackhart has been granted her immediate release. It looks like that explains her lack of care in terms of costing herself the match!
[KEG is handed the title by the ref as he lifts it in the air. The crowd cheers as Dirk is still out. We proceed to a commercial break promoting the last show of the year, "All Wrapped Up"]

Match 3
Carmine Reaper vs Dead Eye
[We return to the ring as Shae Jackson is standing mid-ring]
Shae: The following contest is scheduled for one fall...
[ "Come Join The Murder" with its eerie sound starts to play. The arena goes dark and Carmine comes out from the back and he has a hoodie on with the hood up. The fans cheer him but he just keeps walking he slides into the ring and takes off his hoodie and sits in the corner waiting for the match to begin]
Shae: From Boston, Massachusetts weighing in at 225 pounds... CARMINE REAPER!
["Wish You Would" begins to play, and we see red shooting targets on the screen; red spotlights pan around the arena, also. The spotlights all turn to the rampway and turn off as Dead Eye steps from behind the backstage area with Karin Jasper. Red smoke billows from the stage as the two head to the ring, the smoke rolling all the way down. Dead Eye lifts Karin onto the apron and leaps up. He looks around the arena and then motions like he's shooting a sniper rifle, then holds the ropes open for Karin. He follows in by springboarding into the ring with a front flip. She kisses him on the cheek, and he helps her out of the ring.]
Shae: And making his way from Compton, California and now residing in Long Beach, Indiana... representing the Billionaires Club... #TheFuture... DEAD EYE!
[Karin blows a kiss towards Dead Eye as Carmine rushes into him as the ref calls for the bell]
DING DING DING
[Carmine immediately connects with a European Uppercut. And a second. And a third. He backs Dead Eye up to the ropes and whips him across. As Dead Eye returns, Carmine drives Dead Eye down hard with a stiff clothesline. Carmine drops for a pinfall with an elbow to the face of Dead Eye]
ONE
TWO
[Kickout by Dead Eye as he holds his face in pain. Carmine gets up to his feet and pulls Dead Eye up by the chin. Carmine connects with yet another European uppercut]
Jackson: Carmine is focus... serious... and taking no prisoners it appears.
[Carmine grabs Dead Eye and lifts him for a Vertical Suplex, but instead of falling back for the suplex Dead Eye, he is able to shake his legs and drop back down to his feet followed by a hard DDT to Reaper. Dead Eye waits for a few seconds as he grabs and holds his cheek still in pain from the elbow. Dead Eye finally covers]
ONE
[Carmine kicks out]
West: Dead Eye simply took too long there. He might be "The Future" but he still has some learning to do against veterans like Reaper and Valescence.
[Dead Eye seats himself on top of Carmine Reaper and begins to strike with punches and palms. The ref begins the five count]
ONE

[Karin cheers for Dead Eye on the outside as Carmine fights through the pain. He struggles and struggles. Carmine tries to pull towards the ropes and reaches out. Dead Eye yells to the ref to check on Carmine, and as the ref does, Karin reaches him and uses her shoe to hit Carmine's hand]
Jackson: Come on ref! Pay attention! Carmine was about to break the hold there but Karin got herself involved!
[Carmine fights through it and tries to pull himself again, but it is hard as his hand is in pain. Carmine finally is able to struggle and grabs the ropes, but the damage has already been done. Dead Eye breaks the hold and backs away from Carmine]
West: Carmine is basically wrestling with one arm now.
[Carmine tries to pull himself up to his feet but Dead Eye charges forward connecting with a boot to the side of the head of Reaper. Dead Eye pulls on Carmine and positions him near the corner. Non-Title Match
Bronx Valescence(c) vs Avery Miles
[inside of the ring we see Avery Miles standing, waiting for his opponent]
Shae: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a non-title match. First already inside of the ring from Indio, California weighing in at 215 pounds... AVERY MILES!
[Avery waves to the crowd as they cheer. "What You Know About That" by TI hits over the house system as smoke fills the top of the entrance ramp. Bronx with his head down walks out to the top of the ramp to stand in the smoke for a moment before he pulls his hands up slowly pointing two finger guns at the ring. He pulls the trigger before he twirls the said "guns" and places them back into his "holsters" on either side before he starts his business like walk to the ring. He slides with one knee up on the apron, wipes his feet and then flips over the top rope into the ring. Bronx then walks over to the middle rope and stands on it, surveying the crowd through his sunglasses before he hops off and walks over to his corner where he kicks up, using the top turnbuckle like a hammock as he waits for the bell]
Shae: And his opponent from Eastport, Maine weighing in at 205 pounds... the NGW Unified Heavyweight Champion... BRONX VALESCENCE!
[The ref calls for the bell]
DING DING DING
[The match begins as the two men hold out a hand to shake. As they are about to shake, Bronx pulls back and runs his hand through his hair]
Jackson: Real cool guy Bronx can be!
West: Wow LC, did you learn what sarcasm is?
Jackson: Don't start, West.
[Avery quickly slides behind Bronx and pulls his legs back driving Bronx forward and hitting face first. Avery quickly grabs his right arm and flips over rolling Bronx to his back as Avery locks in an armbar]
Jackson: Avery looking for an immediate submission!
[Bronx yells through the pain as he pounds his available fist on the mat. Bronx reaches out and tries to reach for the ropes and is able to wiggle himself towards the ropes for the break]
West: Great ring presence by the champ!
[Avery Miles breaks the hold as Bronx takes a greater hold of the ropes. The ref backs off Avery as Bronx pulls himself to hit feet. The ref moves out of the way as Bronx charges towards Avery and connects with a big boot, driving the rookie down. The champion wisely drops to his knees and makes a quick cover]

[Kickout by Avery Miles. Bronx grabs the head of Avery and pulls him into a headlock in a seated position. Bronx pushes up from one knee and pulls Avery up with him. It sends Bronx backwards into the ropes but he is able to catch himself on the ropes. Avery takes off after Bronx looking for a clothesline but Bronx tries to pull down on the top rope causing the momentum to send both Avery and Bronx over the top rope to the outside]

Jackson: Wow... we thought we would see this as a much bigger match. That is too bad.
West: I believe these two might be seeing more of each other in the near future. Avery Miles is definitely on the way up!
[We break for a NGW commercial wishing the fans a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays]
Main Event
NGW Five Lakes Championship
Submission Match
Hayden Phoenix(c) vs Tee Voland
[We return as Shae Jackson stands in the middle of the ring.]
Shae: The following contest is a Submission Match for the NGW Five Lakes Championship! First, the challenger, from Erie, Pennsylvania…
[Green and blue pyro explodes at the top of the entrance ramp as "Mizziz Hyde" sounds across the arena and Tee Voland stalks out from behind the curtain with middle fingers extended over her head in greeting to the world. She is kicking the soccer ball from her most recent promo down the aisle. She half glides and half struts down to the ring with the soccer ball that she rolls into the ring. She places her hands on the apron and flipping up to hook her knees over the middle rope and pull herself up and into the ring landing on her feet, once again flipping off everyone present with both hands. She holds onto the ball as she waits for Hayden to come out.]
Shae: TEE VOLAND!
[“Show Me How To Live" by Audioslave begins to play as fog begins to rise from the entrance way. The lights dim down and two spotlights converge on the curtain as Hayden Phoenix makes his way out to the entrance. He stops to look around at the crowd, lift his head, and smirks in a menacing way. He than continues his way to the ring ready for his match, slapping the occasional fan's hand. He is all business as he walks down the ramp towards the ring. The lights brighten up as Hayden enters the ring area. Phoenix yells into the air and jumps up onto the apron. He grabs the top rope, looks at both his left and his right side, and flips head first into the ring as the fans give a mixed reaction to Phoenix. He looks at Tee and the soccer ball and shakes his head as he hands Ed Macintosh the title belt.]
Shae: Her opponent, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, the NGW Five Lakes Champion, “THE RISING” HAYDEN PHOENIX!
West: We've had a terrific set of matches here for you tonight, but this match was made personal after Tee Voland gave Hayden Phoenix the dreaded soccer ball kick to the groin after their title match at All Roads Lead Home. I think it just got more personal here.
Jackson: You can't really fault Tee much. She's tired of the mind games about not being able to win the big one, so she's returning the favor by reminding him of that fateful kick.
West: These two have fought a few times now, but this will be different with the submission-only finish I'll be curious to see their approaches as they share similar moves out of their arsenals.
[Referee Macintosh checks the two for foreign objects, calls them to the center of the ring, and lifts the title into the air. He then calls for the bell.]
DING DING DING
West: And we’re officially under way in the main event of the final Vendetta of 2015.
West: And we’re officially under way in the main event of the final Vendetta of 2015.
[The two circle each other, exchanging words as they plot their first moves. Tee motions like she's going to kick but doesn't as she is just taunting the infamous final moments of their previous match. Tee stretches her arm out, having it slapped by Hayden. The two lock up, and Hayden goes around her back with a hammerlock. Tee reaches back with her right elbow. Hayden leans back and under the arm, lifts his head up to have her arm behind his head, flexes his hips, and pulls back into a suplex. He slides out and grabs a leg. Tee pulls her knees up to her chest and pushes the champion away from her. She pops up off the mat and ducks a clothesline attempt. She leapfrogs a returning Hayden and hits him with a stiff dropkick as Hayden bounces off the ropes. The kick sends Phoenix tumbling through the middle rope and to the ground below. Tee goes to the edge of the ring and taunts like she's kicking a soccer goal.]
Jackson: More ball kicking in the mind of Tee Voland.
West: That's blatant disrespect on the part of Voland!
[She leaps over the top, but Hayden rolls away. He hits a standing moonsault as Macintosh starts his count.]

West: Hayden Phoenix able to get a few shots so far to work on the back of Tee Voland, who may have just cost herself for taunting on that exchange.
Jackson: The floor hurts as it is. It's even worse when someone jumps on you out there.

[Hayden heeds the instruction and rolls his challenger back into the ring. He gets onto the apron and starts to step inside when he is met with a running knee to the ribs. Tee hits a Russian legsweep and follows it up with Dorothy’s Ride (springboard spinning double leg drop). She reaches down to roll him away from the ropes, but the eighty-pound difference proves a bit difficult and time-consuming. Hayden elbows her in the face twice. He gets to a knee at the same time she stirs up. They exchange blows as the two fight their way back to a vertical base. Hayden hits a European uppercut that leans Tee on the ropes. The champ charges with Tee again ducking a clothesline. Hayden goes over but grabs a hold of the top rope and sets his feet on the apron one at a time. He completely regains his balance but finds himself suplexed back into the ring, Tee standing on the bottom rope to ease the lift.]
Jackson: This is almost like a heavyweight boxing match.
West: Fair point. True back and forth action for the title.
(A replay shows in the corner of the screen of the moonsault by Hayden and the duplex back into the ring by Tee. On the main portion of the screen, the live action shows Tee sitting Hayden up, wrapping her left leg around his throat. Hayden quickly grabs her leg and forces her backward onto the mat. Both get up and Tee motions to Hayden to show him how close she was to her submission finish. He hits her in the cheek with a forearm smash and goes for a kick. Tee grabs the foot and shoves it hard to the mat, quickly dropkicking him in that particular knee. Hayden falls to the mat, clutching said knee in agony. He punches the mat a few times as Tee does the same soccer ball taunt again)
Jackson: That was a good combination by Yes, but she should keep working on Hayden and not the crowd again.
[The crowd boos loudly as Tee applies a leg lock to the newly-injured limb. He writhes in pain but sees an opening when Voland crouches down to apply more pressure. He uses his left leg to push Tee off of him and to the mat. He gets up and shakes off his left as he winces. Macintosh makes sure he can continue, but Hayden brushes him off. He stomps his downed challenger and picks her up. Hayden hits a spinning neckbreaker, favoring his knee when he gets up. He fights off the pain and grabs her legs. He puts her in an inverted Sharpshooter.]
West: Phoenix Lock!
Jackson: Hayden has it applied, but I can't imagine that he has the full pressure applied.
[Not mentioned by the commentary team is the positioning, something that Tee takes advantage of thirty seconds into the hold as she stretches and grabs the bottom rope. Ed Macintosh calls for the break. A frustrated Hayden Phoenix refuses to release it.]

[Macintosh grabs Hayden to physically force the break. Hayden releases and is scolded by the senior official. Hayden brushes him off, but Macintosh isn't quite done yet. The champ notices Tee standing in a position for “Out of Nowhere” with the ref standing between the two. Hayden pushes Ed out of the way, and Tee kicks him in the groin. Hayden crumbles to the mat.]
West: Tee Voland with another low blow to Hayden!
Jackson: Ed Macintosh was regaining balance from being pushed away by Hayden Phoenix.
[To ensure the ref doesn't see Hayden clutching his nether region, Tee quickly moves and grabs his leg and an arm. She puts him in a bow and arrow lock too far out for Hayden to reach the ropes. Macintosh gets into position. Hayden fights hard to figure out a way to break out of the submission. The pain from the kick and his knee is too much and forces Hayden to tap out.]

Jackson: The record book will not show that.

Shae: The following is a special exhibition match... between Alioth Starre and Luke Jones.
[Alioth Starre waited in the ring for the man he had challenged in the exclusive exhibition bout for NGW. He leaned against the back ropes and watched the aisle for his opponent, until Luke Jones finally arrived for the bout. He descended toward the ring and entered, but seemed somewhat reluctant, Starre taking the initiative to the center, toward him until he was called off and Luke entered]
West: Here is a matchup of two great stars in their own right, and for NGW to be able to broadcast it... pure amazing.
[The ref calls for the bell]

[With the bell ring echoing the arena, the match began. The two pulled each other into a lock up, Starre took the upper hand with a headlock, but Luke pulled out and kept the lock up tight to a struggle. He tapped Starre with a knee to the side, but Starre did not let up. Alioth tugged Luke back into a headlock, but Jones elbowed him in the gut to free himself long enough for Starre to send him across the ring with an Irish whip. Luke ran the ropes and propelled back, Starre dropped down to his chest, pushed himself up when Luke ran past a second time then positioned himself to send Luke down with a hip toss, but his opponent wrapped his arms behind the top rope and halted his charge. The sudden stop, the reservation to compete against him angered him and he snickered bitterly, then backed into the ropes himself to come charging toward Luke, his opponent's back to the aisle.]
Jackson: Not sure what to expect between these two. I am enjoying this as much as the fans.
Jackson: Not sure what to expect between these two. I am enjoying this as much as the fans.
[The moment of impact, Luke dropped down, expecting Starre to have gone for a clothesline or some hard hitting, sly maneuver to utilize the ropes and send him over it and onto the mats below, but Starre anticipated this, not being one for flying, he went for a low dropkick and caught Luke's chest, the force sending Jones to the outside where he cradled his chest. Starre joined him, not wanting this to end in a count-out]

[Starre peeled Luke from the floor and dragged him over to the ring of the ring. He leaned his head down toward Luke's right side and said something unheard to him before raking his opponent's face against the rim of the ring from the center to the right corner. Luke leaned back and pressed his backhand against the raw spot of his face that scraped the ring, then Starre helped him apply pressure to the spot by slamming Luke's face into the canvas and rolled him back in after]
West: Starre in control here.
West: Starre in control here.
[Starre grabbed the middle rope and hoped onto the rim with a knee, ready to return with the referee breathing down his back with the count. Luke took that moment to forget his injury and spit vitriol into Starre's face, catching him in the eye and forcing him back out of the ring. With a second's reprieve, he rolled away from the ropes and got into a kneeling position, checking his face one last time before waiting for the count to end, joining the ref, a smile on his face as it got closer to the ending second digit]

[Outside of the ring, the numbers became a blur, the crowd inaudible. All he could concentrate on was the disrespect given to him by Luke Jones. The spit to the face was almost a broken camel's back, had he not have any other reason to fight his opponent this night. He wiped away the saliva of a man he once partnered with for one night as a guide, and guardian, then with eyes red with anger, he quickly rolled himself back in right between nine and ten. The moment he rolled onto his back in the ring, Luke caught him with an axe handle. Luke did have the upper hand having higher ground on his side]
Jackson: Luke Jones trying to steal the momentum!
Jackson: Luke Jones trying to steal the momentum!
[Luke, took the initiative and pulled Starre to his feet. He threw an European uppercut to the Brit and reared for a right jab, but as his fist came, Starre stopped it with a grab, held it away from Luke's center and threw his own toe kick into the gut of his opponent. Now he had Luke in his grasp and wasn't about to let go of this opportunity. Like a spider, he had lured his foe into his web and now it was time to seize his moment of glory, ending Luke Jones career]
Jackson: Starre looks like a man possessed.
Jackson: Starre looks like a man possessed.
[Starre's demeanor changed. Throughout the match, he seemed his normal self, acting and reacting to the maneuvers, the motions of the ring, but here, with Luke helpless in his grasp, at least for the moment, his eyes narrowed and he leaned down to spit something volatile into his ear, then slapped Luke hard across the face when no answer was given. A red print quickly formed at the man's cheeks, so Starre slapped him again, again, and several times before the whole right side of Luke's face was red, and Starre's hand was stinging as well. He shook his wrist, and waited for Luke to react, to look up, to stand up, to do anything other than what Starre claimed he had done all his short career, be a coward, or a glorified jobber]
West: Alioth Starre looking for a big win and some revenge.
West: Alioth Starre looking for a big win and some revenge.
[Cupping his cheek in hand, Luke looked up toward his opponent, then pulled back for a kick to the gut, but Starre caught his leg. Luke went for the only thing he could, an enziguri, but Starre ducked, grabbed the waist band of his opponent and used the bulk of his strength to tear Luke fresh of the canvas and backward, spine first onto the canvas. A move he called 'Mercury In Retrograde'. With the finisher enough to cause Luke to clock out, Starre set the pin and far better, shorter count signaled his victory over the man that cost him his last match elsewhere, but allowed him retribution for this deep vendetta in NGW]
