A Hotel Room
(The scene opens up in and we are inside a hotel room, as we pan around and see Anton Chase sitting at a table. He is viewing his laptop that is placed beside him, Anton who is wearing some blue jeans and a self merchandise t-shirt that says "Top Guys Rule". Anton has a smirk on his face that is beaming)
"So here I am just a few days after beating Yujiro Fujiwara in a title match for MY genesis championship I am here in Japan, for a show, but it's not for Redemption Wrestling, it's not for a special attraction event, or even a comic con. I am here for another company, called Warped. Warped and redemption wrestling have agreed that I can appear for both shows with one rule, that I must not miss the show, which never in my career have I missed a show. I am wrestling Saturday 19th for Warped then a private jet for Phoenix, Arizona for Glory on Sunday 20th, now can anyone say they are doing a double shot weekend? No. That's what makes me a champion "
(Anton pauses)
"So I'm not going to indulge into business details right now, what I am going to do is direct my attention to Yujiro Fujiwara, my opponent from Sunday. You see Yujiro you did surprise me on Sunday at Glory, he surprised me by putting up a fight, he showed me that he wanted to be champion even if it was for a short second. He showed me he had it in him, but not enough to carry through. Now if Yujiro had the same years on his career like I have on mine, then maybe Yujiro could have walked away champion, without using his family legacy. He thought he could use that and give him that boost that he needs, that ain't gonna' fly with me. I told everyone, I told the world that I would walk away champion because I have more passion, more drive and more determination than anyone on the roster. Give me one chance, and I'll run with it."
(Anton reaches over the table and picks up the Genesis championship and shows it to the camera)
"Now that I have that out of the way it seems that Devlin Scott wants' to throw a kink into my title reign, he wants to see what I'm like under pressure. Well Devlin do your worst. Because putting me in a triple threat I get more dangerous. I get more Sharpe, more precise and more devious. I know that in a triple threat I have everything to lose, and that's why I'm going to have eyes in the back of my head. I know I can lose my title without being pinned or submitted. But I'm not going to lose. It's not going to be anywhere near me losing my belt, this triple threat is just going to make my title reign even stronger when I shutdown my opponents."
(Anton places his Genesis championship on the table next to the laptop in view)
"And that brings me to my next opponents, firstly I'm going to direct my attention to Xavier Cain. Xavier Cain I like you, I like your attitude, I like you're in-ring style. But if I can give you some advice, that's don't settle for just being happy. I saw your promo and you just seem to be a little too happy for my liking, to be a champion, you need to be more than just happy to be in a match. Sure I'm happy being champion, hell I'm ecstatic to be champion, but I can check that emotion at the door, because I know being a champion the real work begins. I believe Xavier that you fully deserve to have a title match against me, you're undefeated like me, that shows real work. But I have that fire deep down in my gut that pushes me more than just being happy, that desire to be above everyone and be better. Only being champion proves that. I know you are chasing my position, you are on my heels, but this match will prove it. It will prove whether you deserve it or not. I take the latter. Because when I'm backed into a corner, I fight like there's no tomorrow. I fight like a snake is being cut from the head. And I strike with venomous poison. Because there's nothing I won't do to keep MY genesis title."
(Anton takes a breathe)
"I'm going to have eyes in the back of my head because in a triple threat I don't have to be pinned. I don't have to be submitted. I already have my game plan ready inside my head. And when the bell rings people will see it."
(Anton pauses and clicks a video of the last Glory show and has it on in the background)
"Next we have the self proclaimed "Living Greatness" Jeremy Sterling, who seems to be just a tiny bit upset that this is just a triple threat match and not a singles match for him. That he feels he deserves a singles match against yours truly. Jeremy do you realise that a triple threat gives both of you more advantage than me? Because it does. This match is your best bet to EVER becoming even close to winning MY championship, boy. I have to keep an eye on both of you, I have to be quicker, be stronger and more stamina in this match than a singles match. Jeremy this match is like winning the Lotto for you. But you are either stupid, ignorant, or just a damn rookie to fathom that. This is your only chance, at my title. But believe me Jeremy your only chance is going to disappear quicker than you expect."
(Anton pauses)
"Jeremy this is the only chance at arm's length you'll ever have at my title, because you don't deserve it. Sure you had a nice win last week against Mikhail Reinhardt, but there's a reason why I am a champion and you're not. Fire. Fire deep down that drives me to do unspeakable things when under attack. And like I said. When under attack, I become snake like. Your are not going to cut this head off, and you're not going to take my title. You're not going to be anywhere near my genesis championship."
(Anton smirks into the camera)
"The proof is in the pudding is what they say right? Well my proof is sitting on this table, with my name on it, and it will remain in my company for a very long time. So it can be in a triple threat match, it doesn't matter. It can be in a cage match, it doesn't matter. Hell string my title up and in a ladder match, it doesn't matter. It will be coming home with me, just like last week against Yujiro Fujiwara. This weekend I'm going to be jet-lagged, and bruised and I'm still walking away champion, because that's a real fighting champion."
(Scene fades)
