The show starts off with the music of Jason Hunter blasting through the arena as he sits in the middle of the ring. He has on his brand new Hunted Wrestler's t-shirt as he just sits back in a metal folding chair, mic in his hand. His music slowly fades out, but the booing crowd is still incredibly loud.

Hunter: Oh shut the hell up you morons.

This just brings evern more boos his way.

Hunter: You shut up or I will sit here all damn night.

More boos come flying in at him and he just shakes his head.

Hunter: Wow, Matt was right about you people. You guys are really stupid. I threaten to hold up the show if you don't shut up, and you get louder? You understand that just keeps me out here longer. So do you hate me and want to see me leave, or do you actually love me and want me out here. Your actions seem like the second one is true.

The crowd actually starts to calm down a bit after that.

Hunter: Congratulations, you are complete morons.

The gets more boos sent at him and this time he just laughs a little bit.

Hunter: I don't want to hold the show up, but that might just happen next month. March tenth, West Coast Genesis Hype number ten, I better have a shot at the West Coast Championship. Hell I should be fighting for that title tonight, not serving as some damn lumberjack. I actually won my match at Crossroad Ascension, unlike the asshole that was handed another title match. When the lights are brightest, when the stage is biggest, I deliver.

He points up at the screen and it shows a picture of him standing over Jack Santore on Hype, it then fades to an image of him pinning Lucifer at Squared Circle Con. From there, it shows him, bloody and battered, but getting his hand raised at Crossroad: Ascension.

Hunter: As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I would say those images say a whole lot. The only person that has actually managed to beat me on HYPE or at a Crossroad event, he's the guy who got gifted with a title match tonight, and he only beat me because of a damn distraction from Melina Garrison. Melina Garrison who has pinned the West Coast champion twice. Melina Garrison who was beaten by me in one of the most talked about match in West Coast Genesis. I'm not gonna hold the show up tonight and demand my shot here. No, Juliana and Basch can have their match. I'll be out there as a lumberjack and do what I'm supposed to do. Whoever wins that match though, just know that you are looking at the next challenger right here. If you doubt that I deserve it, watch me beat the current South Bay champion later tonight. The lights are bright, the stage is big, and I am at my very best. Do your damn job Mercedes. Pencil it down right now. HYPE TEN, Match tenth, two thousand eighteen, Main Event, West Coast Championship match, Jason Hunter Versus. You can fill in the person I'll be beating after Juliana and Donovan are done tonight. You make it happen or make sure the show doesn't.

Hunter stands up, drops the mic, kicks the chair over and hops out of the ring. He walks up the exit with the crowd booing him even louder than before he had started talking.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Across the Izzyverse, weighing in at one hundred five pounds, she is...IZZY ROXX

The house lights dim and a strobe light show starts near the entranceway as a lively pop=punk riff begins to play across the arena speakers. A moment later, as the vocals begin, Izzy Roxx comes out, followed by her tubby manager, cameraman and best friend Seth Walton. She can be seen mouthing 'Welcome to the Izzyverse, baby!' as she stands with her legs spread out and points towards the arena ceiling with both hands, bobbing her head to the beat. She then proceeds to race down the ramp, slapping every hand in sight. Upon reaching ringside, she vaults onto the top rope, then down onto the canvas, from where she continues to mug to, and interact with, the crowd until the song fades out.

Phoenix: And here comes the talented youngster who is starting to get on a bit of a roll after two straight victories. The Rocketship Captain. Obviously the Long Beach Champion must see something in her, and it looks like others are starting to notice just what Izzy Roxx is capable of.

Mackenzie: And her opponent, from Tucson, Arizona, weighing in at one hundred forty-seven pounds, she is...SELA-RICA LARK!!

The opening chords of Halestorm’s “I Like It Heavy” play on the speakers. The lights fade out until only the stage is lit. Sela steps out from behind the curtains.

“Some like beautiful, perfect and pretty
I see the good in the bad and the ugly
I need the volume one louder than ten
I put the pedal to the metal, needle into the red
If the windows ain't shaking making my heart race
If I can't feel it in my chest I'm in the wrong damn place!”

Sela poses at the top of the ramp to the crowd’s reaction. When the tempo picks up she slams her fist to the ground as the lights come back up alternating in light blues and reds.

“I got a demon in my soul and a voice in my head
It's saying go, go, go! I can sleep when I'm dead
There's a sonic revelation bringing me to my knees
And there's a man down below who needs my sympathy
I got a ringing in my ears getting ready to burst
Screaming ‘hallelujah, motherfucker, take me to church’”

Sela walks down the ramp, a sadistic smile on her face as she looks towards the ring. She takes her time at ringside, teasing a ringpost with her fingers as she walks to one side of the ring and climbs on the apron near the corner. When the chorus kicks in she climbs up the turnbuckle and poses again.

“I like it louder than the boom of a big bass drum
I need it harder than the sound of a guitar grunge
I love to crank it up, make it thump and evil to the core
Headbanging in the pit and throwing my horns
And just like old school Sabbath, Zeppelin and Lemmy
I need to drop it down low and make it heavy
I like it heavy, oh ohh
I like it heavy, oh ohh”

Sela hops down inside the ring and poses once more inside the ring. She slaps at her chest several times screaming out to the audience before going to her corner. Her music fades as she warms up for her match.

Phoenix: Both competitors are in the ring and this match is set to start!

DING DING DING

Sela looks at Izzy with blood in her eyes, letting out a bit of a shriek as she tackles the teenager. She begins slamming Izzy’s head onto the mat until the referee tells her to stop of face disqualification. She tosses Izzy into the corner and charges, thrusting her knee into Izzy Roxx. She pulls Roxx out of the corner and drops her in the center of the ring with a DDT, attempting to secure an early pinfall.

THR...NO!!

Phoenix: Sela-Rica Lark has control early on. She’s made her intentions clear. She wants to maim Izzy Roxx to send a message to the rest of the locker room.

She attempts to grab Izzy’s leg for a probable submission, but Roxx kick’s Lark in the face with the other leg. She rolls backwards and lands a hurricanrana on the Arizona native. The fans begin cheering as Izzy quickly responds with a crossbody on Lark. Izzy tries to get a quick cover.

TWO

THR...NO!!

Roxx doesn’t fret at the two count, immediately bouncing off the ropes and landing a quick clothesline on Lark. Lark gets up and dodges a second one, dropping Izzy with a spinning heel kick. Sela-Rica Lark pulls Izzy to the corner and slams her knee into the corner post.

Phoenix: Wow. Sela is really trying to injure Izzy. This is not good. And here comes her signature Pain For Pleasure.

Sela-Rica Lark begins ramming the crown of her head into the base of Izzy’s neck, trying to do as much damage as she could before she is told to stop by the referee. Sela begins arguing with the referee as Izzy rolls under the bottom rope, not actually leaving the ring though. Sela finishes up her heated discussion with the referee as Izzy begins to get backup to her feet on the apron. Sela tries to get herself in position for the Roughhouse, but Izzy is able to hit a quick jawbreaker. Sela gets back to her feet, looking extremely unhappy as turns back around and finds Izzy flying towards her!

Phoenix: Springboard version of the Izzyverse! Springboard Izzyverse, I guess we could call it? And Izzy isn’t going for the pinfall, she’s climbing the top rope…

Izzy looks down at the downed Sela-Rica nods her head and leaps for the Rocketship Izzy…

Phoenix: Izzy didn’t get enough height on her jump...she’s not going to land this!!

Izzy crashes on the mat a few feet away from Sela. Sela, realizing she just caught a lucky break, rolls Izzy over for a cover.

THR...NO!!

Izzy refuses to give in as she thrusts her shoulder in the air. Sela laughs, saying something that sounds like Izzy wants to be maimed and crippled. She lifts Izzy in the air and charges her into the corner. She makes audible threats to snap Izzy’s neck as she tries to lift Izzy onto the top rope, but Izzy kicks Sela off of her. Sela, acting alone on fury, charges back at Izzy only to see Izzy has moved from that spot. She swings a blind lariat at the moved Izzy Roxx, but Izzy grabs the arm and a leg of Sela-Rica Lark...into a small package!!

Phoenix: THAT COUNTS AS A COVER!!

DING DING DING

Phoenix: Izzy did it! She missed the Rocketship but she outsmarted Sela and used Sela’s fury and lust for violence against her. And Sela does not look like she’s done…

The Middle briefly aired as the referee raised Izzy’s arm in the air as the victor of the match but Sela-Rica Lark slides out of the ring and returns with a chair in hand, which prompts another person to start running down the ramp as fast as he can, resulting fans the begin cheering again after they were booing Sela’s reaction to the match ending.

Phoenix: And here comes the Long Beach Champion!

Adam Sanders slides in a second after Sela does. Sela swings the chair, but Izzy moves out of the way. Adam then stands in between Sela and Izzy, telling her to stop. There’s a staredown between Sela and Adam as Adam quickly takes a few steps back, using his arm to keep Izzy behind him until they are at the ropes for both of them to exit the ring. Adam doesn’t let Sela leave his vision until after they are halfway up the ramp.

Phoenix: Adam Sanders stormed the ring to make sure Izzy was able to walk on her own two feet after an attempted attack by Sela-Rica Lark, who was doing her absolute best to fulfill that promise for Izzy to leave on a stretcher.

Fully dressed in his ring attire, “The Rebel Angel” Remi Fontaine is sitting atop of a large amp… with a college-ruled notebook on his lap. The notebook is opened to a page full of notes written with such fine handwriting. He twirls the blue mechanical pencil in his right hand and takes a deep breath.

Remi Fontaine: I think this is good enough.

Quentin Fontaine: You think or you know?

His father walks over to check on his work. The camera gets a better zoom, but the writing is in Italian. Quentin checks the US History II textbook for the acceptable answers and nods.

Quentin Fontaine: You definitely know. Why the doubt?

The young man shakes his head and shrugs. There’s sadness in his eyes.

Remi Fontaine: Eh, I’m still getting used to living in Santa Monica. It’s really different from Brooklyn. I’m in an entirely new city on the opposite side of the country… far away from you, Mama Ari, Aunt Xaria, Uncle Martin, and my little cousins.

Quentin nods with complete understanding. He takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, wrapping an arm around his son’s shoulders.

Quentin Fontaine: It’s quite the new experience for us as well. We miss having you at home… But I know Jesse’s taking good care of you. I trust him to treat you like a king, just as he promised. It’s only been a month since you moved out, so I’m sure we both need some more time to get used to this. Even though you are a man, you will always be my baby boy.

Remi Fontaine: Dad…

He slightly blushes from the baby boy comment and laughs it off. His father’s always been caring and affectionate. Still, he can’t help but feel emotional about the words he said. Remi looks up to him and smiles, but before he can actually say anything, a female staff member approaches them.

Female staff member: Excuse me, young man? Ms. Mercedes wanted to make sure you were ready for your match. It’s coming up next.

Remi presses his lips together and nods. The staff member dismisses herself shortly after. He closes his notebook, hangs the mechanical pencil along the spiral, and jumps down from the amp. He takes off his glasses, places them in the case, and hands them to his father. Quentin looks at his son and nods.

Quentin Fontaine: Remember, don’t take Shawn Young lightly. He was the Long Beach Champion for a reason. Use your momentum from the tag-team match on Unscripted and win. Now go on ahead. Your aunt and I will catch up to you.

Remi Fontaine: Yeah. Don’t worry, I got this!

Flashing a grin, Remi takes off in the direction of ringside. Quentin watches his son go before he closes the textbook and sets it on top of the amp along with the notebook. He releases a sigh and closes his eyes.

? ? ?: They grow up so fast, don’t they?

Daniel Daemon emerges from the shadows, leaning on his walking stick. Quentin visibly shivers before he slowly turns around to face Daniel who greets him.

Daniel Daemon: Good to see you, Mr. Fontaine. How are things?

Quentin Fontaine: Oh, I’ve been productive, keeping myself busy as a French and Italian teacher for the future generation…

He glances back in his son’s direction before he faces forward again.

Quentin Fontaine: ...taking care of him whenever I can. You know, fatherly responsibilities, Mr. Fitzsimmons.

Daniel Daemon: You and I are a lot alike then. I, too, concern myself mainly with the future generation. Being a father to Martin whenever I can. Doing my best to be a good GRANDfather as well while also running a successful business. There just aren’t enough hours in the day. You know how that is, don’t you?

Daniel nudges Quentin with his elbow in as friendly a manner as he can. Quentin’s a little on edge, but he tries to be as relaxed as possible. He easily picked up on Daniel’s clarification of Martin being his son rather than Johnny. Quentin looks Daniel in the eye and breathes through his nose.

Quentin Fontaine: Without being a grandfather, yes… I do. But I am an uncle, instead, and I care dearly for my nephews and niece. I want the best for them. I want the best for my son.

There’s a slight narrow of his blue eyes, never breaking eye contact with the older gentleman.

Quentin Fontaine: I want what’s best for my younger sister and my brother-in-law… Do you understand?

Daniel smiles in response. If he is intimidated he certainly isn’t showing it.

Daniel Daemon: I want you to ask yourself something, Quentin. People keep bringing up this terrible thing I did to Johnathan… but ask yourself, aside from that, what bad have I done? Even Xaria agrees Johnathan deserved punishment for what he did. I helped her and Martin get that punishment and since then? I have shown nothing but unconditional support and love to your family. If I weren’t an understanding man, I would be offended by your lack of trust… but if all I have to do to earn that trust is to do right by Martin, Xaria, and of course Remi… then I feel I have nothing to fear.

Those narrowed blue eyes stay focused. Quentin’s lack of trust in Daniel remains strong… Only the vibration of his phone distracts him momentarily. He retrieves his phone to see it’s a text message from his sister, Xaria, and he unlocks the screen to access it. The camera zooms in on it.

“It’s showtime. Remi needs us. -AA”

There’s a series of messages ending with those initials. Avenging Angel. A frown crosses Quentin’s face before he simply responds.

“I’ll be there.”

He slides his phone into his jeans pocket and sighs.

Quentin Fontaine: Another time, Mr. Fitzsimmons. My son needs me. I’m sure yours does too… and I’m not talking about Martin.

Quentin willingly turns his back on Daniel and walks away.

Daniel Daemon: Yes, I’m sure my 30-year-old son needs a hug from his pop-pop...

Daniel mumbles under his breath as he walks off-camera to ringside, using his walking stick for support. The show must go on as this scene fades to black.

Sela walks backstage holding her head after her debut loss and wipes a small trickle of blood from her mouth. Except she isn’t frustrated, she’s smiling at it. She chuckles a little as Mia Bala approaches her.

Mia: Sela, after losing your debut here at Hype, what do you think you’re going to do from here?

Sela: From here? I’m just going to keep going. I’m going to keep playing here. You think one loss defines my career here? Nope. That just motivates me more. Put very simply Mia, I enjoyed getting my ass handed to me. It shows that there are people here that can and want to play just the way I like.

Sela leans in causing Mia to lean back.

Sela: I want everyone here to understand one thing: you can’t make me hate any losses I take because I thrive on pain unlike the rest of you. I need the pain to keep me alive, while all of you cannot take a little sprained ankle. Take note of this West Coast Genesis, pain is my playtime and I still want to play.

Sela smiles viciously while her tongue licks her lips lightly, the small trickle of blood vaguely seen on the tip of her tongue. Sela gulps it down with pleasure before leaving a stunned Mia as the scene fades out.

Song 2 by Blur plays over the sound system as Shawn skips through the curtain. He puts his arm in the air, shouting whoo hoo that's on the song before walking down the ramp wearing red and white stars and strips trousers with black elbow and knee pads along with white boots.

Mackenzie: “From Seattle, Washington, he is The Young Hit Wonder, Shawn Young!”

He high fives the fans as he rolls into the ring and climbs on the turnbuckle and shouts Woo-hoo with his right arm up with the crowd cheering for him as he then climbs down, jumping around as he waits for his opponent to come out.

Mackenzie: And his opponent…

The moment the music hits, the lights go out and the fans rise with anticipation.

“Ohh yeah! Ohh yeah! Ohh yeah!”

The lights flicker on and off to the rhythm of the lyrics. “Angel with a Shotgun” by The Cab begins to come to life.

“I’m an angel with a shotgun
(Shotgun, shotgun)
Angel with a shotgun
(Shotgun, shotgun)”

The click-click of the song’s shotgun brings the lights back on and standing on the entrance stage is “The Rebel Angel” Remi Fontaine! The fans cheer for the young man as he looks awestruck towards the crowd.

“Get out your guns
Battle’s begun!
Are you a saint or a sinner?

If love’s a fight,
Then I shall die
With my heart on the trigger!”

By his sides are his father Quentin Fontaine and his aunt, “The Rainbow Angel” Xaria Karloff. Remi looks to his family and they give him approving nods. With a grin, he runs down the ramp, tagging fans along the way, and he slides into the ring. He pushes himself up to his feet and he raises his arms in sheer excitement.

“They say before you start a war,
You better know what you’re fighting for.

Well, baby, you are all that I adore.
If love is what you need,
A soldier I will be!”

Remi’s in awe of the positive response. He lowers his arms with a huge grin on his face. Soon his father and his aunt join him in the ring and they take his hands. They raise each of Remi’s arms once more and the fans react with more cheers. Xaria smiles at her nephew while Quentin offers his son quick advice before they exit the ring. Remi firmly nods and takes off his jacket, handing it to them as he waits.

Mackenzie: From Santa Monica, California weighing in at 144 pounds.. He is Remi Fontaine!

The referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

The match begins as Shawn and Remi tap hands to start the match. Shawn takes early control with a lockup. Shawn pulls Remi into a side headlock. He transitions it into a Russian Leg Sweep as he takes Fontaine down to the mat. Shawn quickly shows off some skill and uses a Surfboard on Remi, as the youngster screams in pain. Shawn can only hold it for so long before Remi tilts the balance and breaks the hold. Shawn comes up to his feet as Remi charges him. Shawn hits a Monkey Flip, sending Remi towards the corner.

Phoenix: What a quick start for the former Long Beach Champion. He is looking to reclaim his spot in the division and earn himself another title match.

Shawn scrambles back towards Remi and uses a Jackknife cover.

And Remi is able to grab the bottom rope to break the count. Fontaine holds the ropes and slowly reaches up to his feet. Shawn comes up from behind looking for a German Suplex, Remi grips the ropes to block it as Shawn is unable to hit the move. Remi hits a back elbow as Shawn takes it to the jaw. Another back elbow as Shawn stumbles back. Remi spins around and hits a low dropkick to a leg of Young. Shawn drops down to one leg. Remi hits a stiff superkick to the jaw of Shawn Young as a loud pop noise is heard.

Phoenix: Those kicks of Remi Fontaine are getting more brutal! He must have been working hard on them.

Shawn drops to his back as Remi heads up to the top rope. He leaps off as he connects with a Frog Splash. Remi lands on top of Shawn and hooks a leg for a pin attempt.

And Shawn Young is able to kick out of it.

Phoenix: Great try there by Fontaine.

Remi raises back up to his feet as he drags Young up to his feet. Remi uses a kick to his right hip. And then his left hip. And follows those strikes up with an Discus Elbow Smash. Shawn drops to one knee. Remi heads for the ropes as he rebounds and charges back towards Shawn. Remi connects with “SONIC-BOOM!” (Running Double Knee Strike) as Shawn drops hard to the canvas. Remi covers hooking both legs.

THR-- NO!

Shawn Young is able to kick out.

Phoenix: Wow! What a close one! I cannot believe it.

Remi looks up to the referee as he holds three fingers up.

Phoenix: And it looks like Remi does not like it either.

Remi raises up to his feet to complain to the referee. The referee argues back that it was not a three count. On the outside of the ring, his aunt and father encourage him on to focus back on the match but he does not necessarily hear it. He continues to argue as Shawn Young slowly gets up to his feet. Xaria and Quentin yells out to Remi to turn around, but by the time he does it is too late. Shawn hits a Jumping DDT, planting Remi to the canvas. Shawn grabs Remi and lifts him up to his feet, and hits a T-Bone suplex further controlling the momentum. With Remi on his back, Shawn runs towards the ropes and hits a Springboard Moonsault. He covers.

And Remi is able to power out of it.

Phoenix: This match has been fast paced… it is one of those matches that could just end out of anywhere. Remi is in trouble as Shawn is controlling the entire momentum now.

Remi reaches for Shawn and looks like he rakes the eyes of Young as the two of them try to get back up to their feet.

Phoenix: Was that.. Intentional? The referee did not see it. It looked like Remi tried to blind Shawn.. But I don’t think he would do that on purpose. Maybe he just reached out for the ropes and did it by accident.

Remi grabs Shawn looking for “Around the World” (Tornado DDT) but he manages to push Remi off. Shawn charges Remi and hits a lightning fast Spear as he takes Fontaine to the mat. Looking to finish things off, Shawn heads up to the top of the corner as he hits Young Hit Press (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press) as covers hooking a leg.

Phoenix: And Shawn Young did it!

Shawn raises up to his feet as the referee holds his arm into the air. Remi rolls to the outside as Xaria and Quentin check on him.

Mackenzie: The winner of the match… he is “The Young Hit Wonder” Shawn Young!

The cameras move backstage.

Not too long before his match, Austen Blackwell paces back and forth. He was alone as Mercedes was in her office and handling some West Coast Genesis business. He paced back and forth as it he was nervous for something. It looked as though he was going to wear the floor down.

Austen: Drop. Flip it. Reverse. Head. Legs.

Melina who had her own match, plus lumberjack later in the night, notices him. She smirks, as she lightly laughs.

Melina: Relax dude. You’re going to put a hole in the floor. What’s going on in that head of yours?

Austen stops in his tracks.

Austen: I am trying to concentrate. Build up a plan in my head. I am 0 and 2 in 2018. Not ideal. I am rolling with a five hundred record now. I am not happy with where I am. I need to do better. Between this Nite Stalker thing. The fact that I chased the South Bay title for so long. I need to be perfect tonight.

Melina looks at him as she sighs softly.

Melina: Has anyone told you, that you worry too much? When you win, do you plan stuff like you are now?

Austen: Well, no. But I don’t plan when I lose either. A catch 22. I just… I need this win so badly. I am not sure I could stomach another loss. I chose to step down to the Long Beach Championship because others… more successful others…. Deserved it. Me? I need to be better. Always better.

He obviously had this weighing on his mind for some time now.

Austen: Ruby. Danni. Both of them did so great. And me? I was the guy that always came up short.

He lowers his head.

Melina: You worry way too much Worrying isn’t going to help you. Why did you become a wrestler Austen? Think about that for a minute, and answer me.

She keeps looking at him, as she waited for him to think about that before answering her.

Austen: Easy. Because I love it. Plain and simple. I love it.

He has a small gleam of a smile towards her.

Melina: Exactly, you love it. You didn’t become one for the wins, for the losses. You need to remember that in your head of yours.

She places a finger on his head.

Melina: You need to stop thinking so much about them in this brain of yours. Just go out, do what you love doing. You think I really care if I win, or lose? I don’t really. Yes the wins are nice, yes winning my first title was nice, but none of it compares to doing what you love.

He nods, as much as he can, with her finger planted on his forehead.

Austen: I get it. You are right. Can you please extract your finger how?

He looks at her with a chuckle. She removes her finger.

Austen: Point made. Thanks, Melina. Hug?

He asks.

Melina: Nope, but later before the main event, you can go find Tamaki, and ask him for a hug. He should be in my locker room. I am sure he will give you one.

She laughs lightly. He shakes his head.

Austen: Fine. Thanks Melina.

He nods and starts to walk past her, but before she realizes he grabs her from behind and hugs her. She shakes her head, as she grabs his hands to let her go.

Melina: Damn it Austen, I am so telling the boss to put us in a match so I can beat you now, or better yet tonight in main event, I am so going to hurt you instead of being a lumberjack.

Austen has a chuckle as he lets go and takes off so she cannot hit him as the cameras head back into the arena.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall…

The opening to Inferno begins as the lights flash. Out from the back a pumped up Ryuji emerges. He smiles and makes his way down the ramp. He stops in front of the ring and pulls out a video game from his shirt and tosses it into the crowd before running into the ring. He climbs to rope and raises a fist into the air before jumping off into the middle of the ring. He waves to the crowd as his music dies out.

Mackenzie: From Indianapolis, Indiana… he is Ryuji Takahashi!

The intro to Nightmare plays, as little flame like lights appear on the titan-tron. The screen is covered in these little candle fires, until the board is covered in flames. The music starts to pick up, as a the screen turns to a video rushing through what seems to be the depths of hell. As the intro ends, the Titantron closes in on Nite Stalker's face, as it shows him mouthing out Nightmare as the lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold screams it. The video rushes back all the way to the fires, just to show fire. Simultaneously, the entire arena bursts into flame like red, revealing Nite Stalker standing on the stage with his arms stretched out. Nite Stalker walks down to the ring in an unorthodox way. He rolls into the ring, and rabidly stomps around the ring, sporadically grabbing at the ropes. He eventually falls to the mat, smiling sadistically at the ceiling.

Mackenzie: And from The Darkness… he is The Nite Stalker!

The referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

The match begins as Ryuji slowly approaches The Nite Stalker. He is unsure of how to approach this opponent. Letting out a wicked scream, Ryuji is taken back as Stalker leads into him with a hip check. He steps back and throws a knee into the stomach of Takahashi. Pulling Ryuji’s head down to his knee, Ryuji stumbles backwards as Stalker hits a Lariat. Stalker uses a lateral press.

ONE

Phoenix: Just a one count from one of the strangest people on the roster.

Stalker pulls up to his feet and lifts Ryuji up. He uses an exploder suplex, and follows it up with another lateral press.

ONE

Phoenix: And just another one count. His pins are quite laxed. Almost as if he were toying with Ryuji.

The Nite Stalker pushes up to his feet, as he reaches for Ryuji’s head. Takahashi grabs the head of Stalker and uses an inside cradle.

And Stalker is abe to power out of it. Ryuji is quickly up to his feet. He charges Stalker, and ducks an incoming lariat. Hitting the ropes, he rebounds and hits a Running Dropkick sending Stalker to the mat. Heading for the ropes, he springboards into a moonsault as he covers Stalker.

And Stalker powers out of it.

Phoenix: Some great energy from the newcomer, Takahashi.

Both of them back up to their feet with a staredown. Stalker drops to his knees as Ryuji is not sure what to make of it. Stepping forward, Ryuji looks for a hard kick to the shoulder of Stalker. The Nite Stalker encourages him, and takes the shot. And another. And a third. And a fourth. Ryuji goes for a fourth, but Stalker grabs the leg of Ryuji and pulls himself up to his feet. Charging forward, a short arm clothesline as he drives Ryuji hard to the canvas.

Phoenix: Great mental ability there to turn the momentum around so quickly.

Stalker drags Ryuji up to his feet and slides into position for Black Hole Sun (Chicken Wing Gutbuster) as he hits it. He rolls Ryuji to his back and uses another lateral press.

And Ryuji is able to easily kickout again as he did not use a tougher pin attempt.

Phoenix: Is he cocky? Or dumb? Or ultimately smarter than everyone, and just playing mind games?

Stalker holds the leg of Ryuji and raises up to his feet. A series of kicks to the back of the leg, the referee begins a five count to release it.

Kick.

Kick.

FOUR

He releases the leg and backs off as Ryuji is holding the leg in pain.

Phoenix: Great job to wear down the leg!

Stalker leans over the ropes and almost taunts the fans as they boo. This allows Ryuji to head up to his feet. Stalker charges for him, but Ryuji is able to sidestep him and sends Stalker up and over the top rope. He manages to hang on and lands onto the ring apron. Grabbing the head of Ryuji as he turns around, Stalker marches him towards the corner and uses a Head Smash on Turnbuckle. Ryuji falls to his back as Stalker climbs back into the ring. He uses a series of stomps before lifting Ryuji back up. Stalker hits a combo of strikes that leaves him dazed. Heading for the ropes, Stalker comes back and hits Abyss Kick (Running Single Leg Drop Kick) that sends Ryuji flying into the corner.

Phoenix: Wow. The Nite Stalker is showing some skill inside the squared circle!

Stalker flips him over to his back and makes use of a more traditional cover with an elbow to the throat.

And Ryuji still manages to kick out.

Phoenix: Wow. He is sure holding on!

Stalker cannot believe it as he grabs Ryuji by the hair and drags him to his feet. Yelling in his face, Ryugi hits a couple of hard strikes, and then a hard elbow. Backing into the ropes, Ryuji charges forward and hits a desperation Satellite DDT as he plants the head of Stalker onto the mat. Unable to take advantage, both men are laid out in the ring.

Phoenix: That last ditch effort by Takahashi was a stellar one… but is it enough for him to take control.

Ryuji rolls over and drapes an arm over Stalker.

And The Nite Stalker kicks out.

Phoenix: He waited far too long!

Ryuji heads back up to his feet as he drags The Nite Stalker up to his feet. Ryuji grabs him and pulls him in looking for Spirit Bomb (Powerbomb Into A Flatliner), but Stalker is able to overcome and sends Ryuji up and over his back and landing on the mat. Turning around, Stalker lifts him up and whips Ryuji into the ropes. Takahashi rebounds as Stalker catches him and uses Zozo Phenomenon (Tombstone Submission Hold) as Ryuji fights it. He squirms, and starts to get loose. Stalker transitions it into a Modified Tombstone Piledriver as he plants Ryuji. Stalker covers him.

Phoenix: And that is it… ladies and gents.

DING DING DING

Mackenzie: Winner of the match…. He is The Nite Stalker.

After the match, Stalker heads under the ring and pulls out a can of spray paint.

Phoenix: Stop him ref!

Stalker uses his red paint to spray the face of Ryuji with a red cross as we head backstage.

Hype fades into a pre-recorded video featuring WCG West Coast Champion Julianna DiMaria sitting down in an office setting with the West Coast Championship lying on the table. The crowd immediately boos her, but considering that the video isn’t live, Julianna doesn’t react. To make matters even more amusing, Julianna is wearing a yellow t-shirt with the words “Conspiracy Victim” written in big, black letters. She has a smirk on her face as she begins to speak.

Julianna: I am recording this instead of doing this live because other than my match against Donovan, you people in WCG and those in the audience don’t deserve to see me live. I have decided that one way or another, my WCG tenure will be coming to an end soon. I’m leaving West Coast Genesis whether I beat Melina in our promotion match or not.

The fans cheer this, obviously not wanting Julianna to stick around in WCG for too much longer.

Julianna: And you know why that is? That’s for two reasons. Reason one? If I lose to Melina again, there’s no way I’d want to stick around here. What would be left for me to do? Continue to retain the championship as long as possible? Fair, but after I lose this championship? Well, I’m going to be honest here. I’m not going to stick around for another year defending this championship which leads me to reason number two why I will be out of this company win or lose against Melina: YOU!

YOU drove me to this!

YOU are the reason why I want to get the hell out of West Coast Genesis and by YOU I mean YOU the people… YOU the wrestlers in the locker room, most of whom would never appreciate me and especially YOU… Mercedes… I have HAD IT with this nonsense and I am not going to stick around much longer to deal with this nonsense. Take this championship match tonight. Donovan Basch didn’t do a damn thing to deserve a second chance. He whined, he complained, he threw a fit, he cried to Mercedes and BOOM, what was originally a non-title match is now a title match with ridiculous stipulations proving once and for all that Mercedes is desperate to get this championship off of me and yet, I’m expected to STAY knowing someone in office has an agenda against me?

HELL WITH THAT!

I am going to beat WCG’s hand-picked golden boy in Donovan Basch! And then, I am going to beat Melina and I am going to move on to NGW, taking the West Coast Championship with me.

And if I lose to Melina and STILL have the title?

I’m still out of here and I am going to take this championship to a promotion that is not going to fuck me over and throw bullshit after bullshit of disrespect at my feet! You should all be GROVELING at my feet, not throwing nonsense after nonsense at them. And that’s why I’m leaving!

Some flash in the pan who left NGW because she couldn’t hack it there after she had an overhyped run with the South Bay Championship won champion of the year instead of me.

HER.... the champion that bailed at her earliest convenience for her own selfish crap, gets “champion of the year” instead of me whereas I’ve been nothing but LOYAL to you bastards and yet, in return for my loyalty, I get treated like garbage?

Believe me… I will be SO GLAD to be out of here, one way or another and when I do, I am taking this with me. Maybe I’ll go back to GOL! Heck, maybe I’ll go join GCW and try to strip Jazmyn Rain of her precious Global championship over there. But either way, NGW or not… I’m so GLAD that after my match with Melina, I won’t have to take this crap anymore.

Julianna pauses, as her words draw boos from the audience. Tears start to form in her eyes, but she quickly wipes them away.

Julianna: I will leave WCG with my head held high, with this championship and you are all going to regret that you ever kicked me around. After I’m done with Melina, you won’t have me to kick around anymore!

I will fight this conspiracy, I will overcome this injustice by remaining West Coast Champion, and I will end every last hope you bastards have of ever dethroning me!

WCG is MY WORLD!

I AM WCG!

And you won’t realize it until I am gone and you’re all BEGGING ME to stay!

One last thing though… I have a deal for my lumberjacks. Obviously, the stipulation is what it is. BUT...if you take out Donovan’s lumberjacks… I will GLADLY grant each and every one of you a title shot before I leave. Do we have a deal? Does that sound good? Last I checked, maiming the lumberjacks isn’t against the rules! Think about it and realize how sweet of a deal I am making for you!

The cameras move back into the arena.

DING DING

Mackenzie: This next contest is scheduled for one fall!

"Lions" by Skip Marley begins to play as the lights come down in the arena. The crowd has a hush come over them. As soon as the song kicks in, Austen Blackwell enters the arena as the words "AB" appear on the screen. They fade from green to blue and back, while spinning every few seconds. Austen stands atop the entrance ramp as he raises his arms to the crowd.

Mackenzie: Introducing first, from Oceanside, California, weighing in at 187 pounds, AUSTEN BLACKWELL!

They cheer for the SoCal boy. He points up to above the ring as a single spotlight comes on and it lights the center of the ring. Austen yells "Come on!" as he turns his focus on the middle of the ring. He runs down the ramp and slides into the ring head first, popping back up to his feet as the spotlight shines on him. He opens his arms wide, as the fans welcome him.

Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen, you can be sure Austen will be looking for some redemption tonight. But he’s got a tough challenge for that.

Smoke begins to billow onto the entrance area as the intro guitar riff to “Phoenix” by Stratavarious begins to play. Out walks a tall slender man in a blue business suit followed by someone on all fours wearing a blue and black pup mask, he has a collar and leash around his neck alongside another man in a more casual button up and khakis and loafers. The first man looks down and pets the other on the head as he helps the masked man to stand. Still holding onto the leash the suited man leads the other down the ring followed by the second guy. The crowd doesn’t really know what to make of the scene.

Mackenzie: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Anthony Phoenix and Jackson Jones, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 200 pounds, ZAKARI PHOENIX!

As they reach the ring, the masked man enters the ring under the bottom rope as the one in the business suit enters through the second and top ropes as Mackenzie similarly exits the ring. The other masked man then gets back on all fours as the suited man comes up behind him again and pets the masked one on the head again. This time he slowly unfastens the back straps and takes off the mask to reveal Zakari Phoenix is behind the mask. Zakari stands and cocks his head to side as the suited man exits the ring. He walks over to Phoenix's corner.

Phoenix: I don’t know, he could be a distant cousin somewhere. I’ll tell you one thing, this kid is strange, but effective.

Zakari then backs up and walks over to his corner as he readies himself for the match. The ref checks Austen and Zakari. Both men are ready so the ref calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

Zakari charges in, catching Austen by surprise, with a roll up that doesn’t get to a one count. Austen returns to his feet, but Zakari is up first and knocks Austen sideways with a roundhouse kick. Austen stumbles into the ropes which Zakari grabs him off of, whipping Austen off the opposite ropes and leveling him with a dropkick and a cover.

ONE

Kickout!

Zakari stays on the attack switching to a ground and pound style, but Austen quickly shoves him off. When Zakari returns, Austen grabs him into a headlock. Zakari quickly realizes he has to fight out of it and create distance, which allows both men to get to a knee and just stare a moment.

Phoenix: Switching tactics up to keep Austen off balance didn’t work for Zakari. He’s gonna have to try something else.

Austen and Zakari mirror each other as they stand. Zakari signals a test of strength and Austen responds. Once both hands are clasped, both men struggle against each other. Austen is just able to catch Zakari by surprise with a kick into a snapmare before bouncing off the ropes with a low dropkick to Zakari’s face which makes Anthony noticeably wince. Austen is quickly in the cover.

ONE

Kickout!

Austen goes into his element as he starts to run and deliver quick strikes to Zakari. The stinging strikes only slow Zakari down from standing, but once he’s up Austen takes him and whips him into a corner, following up with a clothesline which drops Zakari out of the corner. Austen tries a cover hooking the inside leg.

Foot on the rope!

Phoenix: Too close to the ropes Austen. You need to be a little more aware than that to get one on Zakari.

Austen shakes his head regarding his lapse in judgement and pulls Zakari to his feet and starts to deliver a series of chops to drive Zakari back to the corner and keep working him. The ref hits the four count and Austen stops, inspiring Anthony to get on the apron and start yelling at the ref about Austen’s abuse. Jackson takes the opportunity of the ref’s distraction and trips up Austen as he starts to lay into Zakari again. Austen confronts Jackson from inside the ring, but Zakari recovers, spins Austen around and rakes his eyes. Austen yells a second before Zakari sweeps him up into a DDT. Anthony gets off the apron finally, the ref clueless to the happenings behind his back, as Zakari goes for a cover

Kickout!

Phoenix: And that’s one way to get momentum. Call it a three on one out here almost. Austen now at a distinct disadvantage.

Austen tries to push Zakari away, but Zakari just delivers a few stiff shots to Austen’s head as he brings Austen to his feet and mouths off to Austen’s face. Austen goes for a shot at Zakari’s head, but it is blocked and countered with an elbow strike to Austen’s temple. Stunned by the strike, Austen is unable to counter as Zakari hits a suplex into the center of the ring. Austen squirms, but Zakari doesn’t go for the cover immediately. Instead he stalks Austen as Austen reels, trying to get to his feet. The crowd react unfavorably as Zakari bounces off the ropes and loops Austen into My Turn (While standing in front of his opponent Phoenix jumps up and encompasses his opponent's head with his legs and executes a Hurracarana. However, Phoenix doesn’t release once he has hit the ground, rather he holds on and transforms it into a triangle choke and chokes out his opponent) in the middle of the ring. Austen writhes and struggles to the best of his ability, but Zakari has him in a veritable no man’s land. Anthony and Jackson grin at the sight and encourage Zakari to lock in the hold tighter. Austen circles in place a moment, but can’t get momentum with his upper body to get to the ropes. He changes to struggling with his lower body, using his shoes to crawl himself toward the ropes. Anthony slaps the mat in frustration, but it isn’t enough encouragement for Zakari as Austen gets his foot on the rope.

Phoenix: And that just might be poetic justice after Austen’s miscue earlier. Zakari will be forced to break the hold.

Zakari doesn’t at first utilizes the full count before letting go just before the ref hits five. The ref talks to Zakari, but he ignores the ref, looking over to Jackson who nods his approval and tells Zakari to end this. Zakari smiles as he crawls around a moment before dragging Austen towards a corner. Zakari gets to both feet, looks around and laughs as he runs for the corner and jumps up on the top turnbuckle. Spinning around quickly, he takes a quick measurement before leaping for The B.F.E. (The Best Frogsplash Ever), but eats the mat as Austen rolls away. Zakari flops a moment before fading out a little. The ref checks both men and they do not answer. The ref starts the count.

Zakari is on his feet, but has to stumble back to the ropes once the ref acknowledges it

Austen kips up and runs in to clothesline Zakari over the top rope, spilling him to the outside. Zakari, Anthony and Jackson are left dumbfounded as Austen hops over the ropes and Asai moonsaults himself right into Zakari and stands right back up.

Phoenix: Business just picked up and it is good people. Austen is getting into his element.

Austen doesn’t waste time sending Zakari into the ring who scrambles away, but Austen is quickly back in and grabs Zakari by the foot, both men stand and Austen ducks the enzuigiri attempt in favor of a spinning back kick to Zakari’s jaw. This levels Zakari putting him in position for a Standing 450 Splash from Austen, but even as Austen hooks the leg of Zakari, Anthony is back on the apron and the ref has to deal with him again. Austen, having enough antics, wastes no time launching himself into a Sling Blade on Anthony who is thrown off the apron and caught unceremoniously by Jackson. With the two laid out, Austen turns his attention back to Zakari who has managed to stand, but when Austen tries to send him into the corner, it’s reversed and Austen is sent into the corner followed by a vicious clothesline. Zakari hops on the turnbuckle, looking to finish The Climactic Ending, but Austen counters. Zakari realizes it too late when Austen runs up to the top turnbuckle himself and hits the AB Cutter (Diving Corkscrew Cutter).

Phoenix: That is all she wrote folks.

Austen stands and raises his hand looking at Jackson Jones who has recovered enough to realize what has just transpired.

Mackenzie: Here is your winner, AUSTENNNN BLACKWELLLLLLLLLL!

Austen’s music hits and Austen rolls out of the ring to celebrate with the fans. Jackson shakes his head in disbelief and gets Anthony to his feet.

Phoenix: You can pull out tricks, but they may not always work. Austen had his work cut out for him and he rose to the occasion.

The scene opens up backstage, as Melina Garrison and Tamaki are walking down the hallway. Tamaki is trying to run ahead, as Melina shakes her head. He this time was wearing a Billy Danielson shirt. Melina knew he was heading for Ryuji's locker room so he could see his Dad. Melina looks towards Tamaki.

Melina: Tamaki sweetie, slow down.

Tamaki looks back, as he laughs.

Tamaki: No Mommy.

He runs even further ahead, as Melina is laughing.

Melina: Sweetie, come on don't go too far ahead.

Tamaki shakes his head, as he keeps heading ahead. Melina runs a bit to catch up to him, as she bends down picking up. He starts laughing as she does.

Melina: You need to listen to me, sweetie.

She lightly tickles him, as he laughs lightly.

Melina: You ready to watch Mommy beat up Adam?

Tamaki laughs, as he shakes his head no, while Melina stops tickling him.

Tamaki: No Mommy, Adam beat you.

Melina laughs softly, as she shakes her head.

Melina: Sweetie you really want me to lose again?

Tamaki nods his head yes.

Tamaki: YES!!!

Melina shakes her head.

Melina: Sweetie you are not nice to Mommy.

Tamaki: Sorry Mommy.

Melina leans in kissing his cheek.

Melina: It's okay sweetie. You ready to see Daddy?

Tamaki nods his head.

Tamaki: Yes Mommy.

Melina: Good we are almost there, just a few more doors down.

Tamaki: YAY!!!

Melina laughs.

Melina: Again, are you wanting Mommy to win?

Tamaki laughs, as he shakes his head no.

Tamaki: NO!!!

Melina: Alright sweetie, I won't ask you again.

She shakes her head, as they get to Ryuji's locker room. She knocks on the door. Ryuji opens it, as Melina sets Tamaki down. He runs into the room, as Ryuji turns to enter. As he does, Melina smirks, as she kicks him in his ass.

Melina: I'll see you later, have fun, Tamaki.

She laughs as Ryuji shakes his head, and rubs his ass, as he shuts the door. Melina starts walking for her locker room as cameras cut out.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, she weighs in at one hundred and twenty pounds, she hails from Boise, Idaho... MELINA GARRISON!

Bad Girls World by Halestorm starts playing, as Melina Wilson would walk out. She stops at the top of the ramp, as she looks at everyone, before throwing her hands up, as she bends her knee.She soon snaps her hands down, before walking down to the ramp, as she climbs the ring ropes. She would climb into the ring, as she goes over to her corner, climbing on the turnbuckle, as she sits on it, with her long legs laying on one of the ropes to her side as she waits for the match to start.

Phoenix: Melina Garrison focused here tonight as she is looking for a bounce back win after suffering two losses in a row.

Drums fill the entire venue as they pound rhythmically before the famous Foo Fighters guitar riff takes over. As the full band kicks in to perform the band's hit single "My Hero", the West Coast Genesis Long Beach Champion appears on the ramp, earning a few cheers from each of the fans as the socially awkward and shy wrestler looks around at all the fans.

Mackenzie: From Grand Rapids, Michigan, weighing in at two hundred fifteen pounds, he is the West Coast Genesis LONG BEACH CHAMPION, ADAM SANDERS!!

Sanders, championship belt around his waist and "Well, this is Awkward!" t-shirt underneath that. He gives a wave to a fan or two before rolling under the ropes and into the ring, holding the belt up high above his head as Dave Grohl sings the chorus for everyone to hear.

Adam Sanders hands the championship belt to the referee as he begins getting ready for the start of the match, stretching both of his legs then his shoulders, followed by rolling his neck.

Phoenix: The new Long Beach champion fresh off of his first defense and while this is non title, you know he wants to prove himself as a new champion.

Melina and Sanders circle a bit, then shake hands and give each other a little nod of he head before locking up. Despite Sanders size advantage, Melina takes advantage with an arm wrench. She uses the wrenched arm to hit a few forearm strikes and then pulls Sanders into a headlock. She cranks on the headlock a bit, then looks to turn it into a neckbreaker, but Sanders is able to push her off and into the ropes. Sanders catches Melina with an arm drag as she comes back, then catches her with a hip toss as she pops back up. Sanders follows with a basement dropkick to the back and quickly covers, but he only gets a 1 count. Sanders looks for a leg drop, but Melina is able to roll out of the way. Sanders is quick to get up, but he goes right back down courtesy of a bulldog from Melina. Sanders stumbles a bit as he gets up this time and Melina catches him with a hurricanrana that sends him flying in to the corner. Melina rolls him up as he comes back, but Sanders is able to kick out at 1. sanders is straight back up and he looks for another arm drag to melina, but she's able to use her athleticism to land on her feet and when he turns around she catches him with the Wilson Kick. She's quick to make the cover

Phoenix: A near fall there for Melina Garrison and you can see that she learned a lot from their first match. Adam Sanders was able to pull out the win then, but you have to wonder if she was under estimating him back then. Melina is a smart competitor and certainly isn't over looking the young champion tonight.

Melina pulls Adam back to his feet, but he fores off a few forearm shots of his own and then levels her with a big shoulder tackle. Sanders takes a few seconds to shake the cobwebs, then pulls Melina back up. Adam looks for the vertical suplex, but Melina manages to counter out of it and catches him with an inverted DDT. Melina looks for Bad Girl Dreams, but Sanders manages to get the knees up. sanders catches Melina and rolls her into the pin right away

Adam stays on the offensive and this time he hits a quick snap suplex. He floats over into the pin, but only manages a 2 count. Adam pulls Melina right back up and looks for the Motor City Circuit, but Melina is able to block it. She gets one arm free and uses the other to pull him into a DDT of her own. Melina quickly applies the Wilson Leg Trap, looking for the submission victory. Adam reaches out with his left arm to try and get a rope, but there's nothing close. He reaches with the right, but again there's no ropes in arms reach. He starts trying to twist and turns his body so he can grab a rope. He turns enough to see his feet are close, and pulls himself backwards. He manages to get a foot under the bottom rope and the ref tells Melina to break the hold.

Phoenix: Adam Sanders able to escape that submission, but he was trapped for quit some time. You have to admire that resilience though. No doubt the pain was intense and excruciating, but he finds a way out. Still, a lot of damage done and Melina Garrison is definitely in the drivers seat right now.

Melina brings Adam to his feet, and then puts him straight back down with a neckbreaker. She covers, but only gets a 1 count, much to her surprise. Melina pulls Adam back up and after a few forearm shots, she hits a second neckbreaker. Another cover and another 1 count that surprises her. Melina again pulls Adam up, hits a few forearm shots, and this time she looks for the Million Dollar Dream. She gets it locked on, but before she can fall back and hook the legs around Adam for the body scissors, he jumps up and brings her down into a pinning predicament

Phoenix: Two near falls there for Adam Sanders. One off of that quick devastating super kick, but the one before that is what really impressed me. The intelligence and wherewithal to turn that dangerous submission in to a pin attempt, it really shows how far he has come. This match has shifted back and forth, both competitors showing how important a win is to them, and I gotta say that this is anybodies game. Melina Garrison, does have those multiple submissions though and that could be the difference.

Adam goes to pull Melina up, but she grabs the arm and apples the Bad Girls Choke from out of nowhere. Adam is fighting it, but Melina is able to use her flexibility and great ground game to lock it in. Adam keeps trying to work his way out of it, but Melina applies more pressure and he starts to slowly fade. Adam looks like he might be out of it, but he makes one last attempt to break it and manages to turn his body, putting his weight on Melina and transitioning into a pin attempt

Melina is forced to break the submission to avoid getting pinned, but she is quick to get to her feet. Adam is clearly woozy and wobbly from the loss of air and Melina nails him with the Wilson Kick. Mackenzie: The winner by pin fall... MELINA GARRISON!

Phoenix: Big win here for Melina Garrison as she gets back on the right track and pins a current champion. No shame at all in that loss for Adam Sanders though. He gave Melina a hell of a fight and showed some smarts well ahead of his experience with turning those submission attempts in to pin attempts.

Melina celebrates in the ring and the ref goes to raise her hand, but Adam stops him as he slowly gets up. He looks at Melina nods at her, and then he raises her hand. He exits the ring, takes his title and heads up the ramp leaving her to celebrate her win. She gives her husband a son a wave and blows them a kiss before she makes her way out of the ring and up to the back.

After his win over Zakari Phoenix, Austen heads back towards Mercedes office. He knocks at the door and pushes his way in. A big smile on his face, he looked more like The True Heart the fans knew and loved. Mercedes was finishing up a phone call as he found a seat and waited for her. She hangs up the phone, as she looks at him.

Mercedes: Well done job out there Mr. Blackwell.

She of course was in boss mode.

Austen: Thank you, Miss Carter.

He laughs.

Austen: I needed that. More than you know. Thank you for having my back. I know it’s been a rough couple of weeks. A win?

He exhales.

Austen: I needed it. More than you know.

Mercedes looks at him funny.

Mercedes: I think I know how much. I live with you, I see how you were. I know how much Austen.

Mercedes of course had went into fiancee mode now.

Mercedes: Don’t get too comfortable though AB, you have to still go be a lumberjack.

Austen: I am ready for that. And I have a feeling that Donovan will be able to do it.

He smiles as he stands up.

Austen: I don’t know what you have in mind for me for the next couple of shows… but I feel ready for them.

Austen stands up.

Mercedes: Now now Mr. Blackwell you know I can’t say rather I want him to do it, or not. Don’t want any favoritism called out.

She laughs, as she was getting used to flipping back, and forth.

Mercedes: You will just need to wait, and see. Now get out of here Mr. Blackwell, and get ready for the main event.

She looks at him.

Mercedes: Oh, and one more thing, stop getting Melina all in a roar about hugs.

She laughs. He laughs.

Austen: Austen hugs… from OUTTA NOWHERE!

He rounds the table and sneaks a hug on Mercedes before running out of her office to get ready to be a lumberjack for the Main Event.

Mackenzie: The following contest is a six man scramble match to determine the number one contender for the South Bay Championship. This match has a twenty minute time limit, and there are no count outs. The winner will be the person with the most points at the end of the match. A point is earned by pin fall or submission, if you are disqualified, you will lose a point. The first competitor weighs in at two hundred and twenty pounds, from Hobart, Indiana... JAMES PRIDEMORE!

The intro to Throne by Bring Me The Horizon begins to play out on the P.A. System, as the lights in the arena begin to flash to the beat of the song. Everything pauses as all of the lights focus themselves on the stage. Then the first verse starts, and out comes James Pridmore, jumping up and down hyping the crowd up. He shuffles down the aisle, high fiving as many fans as he can, while singing along with his theme. He reaches ringside, and leaps onto the apron. Instantly, James slingshots himself over the top rope, and into the ring. He does a barrel roll, and poses on one knee in the center of the ring. The music slowly fades, as James Pridmore waits for the match to begin.

Mackenzie: The second competitor weighs in at one hundred and twenty pounds, from Tampa, Florida... PIPER LOCKWOOD!

The lights come down as two pink laser lights start to right. The intro to Gasoline by Halsey begins to play smoke starts to fill the entrance. As the lyrics to the song begin to appear on the scree, Piper makes her way out onto the stage. She keeps her eyes focused forward and does not pay attention to the crowd. Walking down the ramp, she reaches for the bottom rope and rolls into the ring ready for the match.

Mackenzie: The third competitor, he weighs in at one hundred and eighty eight pounds, from Tokyo, Japan... WASABI!

The jarring rock strains of ‘Black and Yellow’ by Tyler Ward and Crew play as Wasabi walks out from behind the back. He looks out at the audience, raises his hands up high and then runs straight down to the ring. He slides in, almost going all the way across the ring. He pops up, takes one of his shirts off his shoulder and tosses it out to the audience.

Mackenzie: The fourth competitor in this match, she weighs in at one hundred and twenty pounds, from Norwich, England... TASMIN RICHARDS!

"Sex Metal Barbie" hits as Tasmin comes skipping out in a leather biker jacket, a black top and black jeans. She makes her way down to the ring high fiving fans before running and sliding under the bottom rope popping up to her knee's, she raises a fist high towards the fans and then gives the rock horns salute.

Mackenzie: The fifth competitor in this match, he weighs in at one hundred and eighty seven pounds, from San Fransisco, California... JACK WILDE!

The lights go out to draw emphasis on the big screen as 'Only God Knows' begins to play over the arena. The screen cuts to the backstage area, focusing in on the door of a locker room as the intro to the music continues to blare in the distance. The door opens as the crowd jump to the feet at the sight on the screen of Jack Wilde emerging into the backstage halls. The cameras retreat capturing his walk as he makes his way down the corridor stretching his arms and rolling his neck, looking extremely focused. He gives the cameras a cheeky wink before making his way through the curtains reaches and out into the arena. The momentum builds and the crowd go wild as he stands atop the ramp surveying the cheering fans, before making his way to the ring, dishing out hand slaps along the way.

Mackenzie: The final competitor in this match, she weighs in at one hundred and twenty seven pounds, from Sparta, Greece... IPHIGENIA MEDRAPEDES!

O Fortuna begins to play, and as the music hits a crescendo Iphy makes her way from behind the curtain. Medrapedes hops in place for a moment, before nodding to the crowd, and making her way to the ring. Once at ringside, she makes her way up the steel steps, and steps into the ring. Iphigenia enters her corner, and begins to limber up as she awaits the matches start.

Phoenix: All six are in the ring and it's an interesting mix here. Both Wilde and Tasmin employ a fast paced high flying high risk style. Wasabi, despite being from Japan, use a more traditionally lucha libre style. Piper Lockwood is a fantastic technician. Iphigenia is a mat wrestler who likes to employ some of the Greco-Roman style. Pridemore is an incredible striker, and he isn't afraid to fight dirty. The same can also be said for Piper Lockwood. The other four, they will keep it clean, although if any of them was going to bend the rules, I think it would be Tasmin Richards. Her boyfriend, her sister Kayla, her soon to be brother in law, all of them could be the keynote speaker at the next annual rule breakers convention. One thing is certain, we are set for twenty minutes of intense action and when the time is up and the dust settles, we will have a new number one contender for the South Bay Championship.

All six competitors start to circle as the bell rings, each trying to keep eyes on the other five. After a bit more circling, Pridmore charges Wasabi and delivers a stiff forearm shot. Iphy grabs Piper and takes her down with a double leg as Tasmin and Wilde both go for a dropkick. They're both up quick and Wilde catches her with an arm drag only to have Tasmin fire back with one of her own. Piper has escaped from Iphy's grasp and she catches her with an inverted DDT. Pridemore sends Wasabi back into the corner with a European uppercut and follows with a hard chop. Wilde goes for a flying headscissors on Tasmin, but she manages to land on her feet and she catches him with a hurricanrana as he turns. Tasmin looks for the first pin, but Wilde kicks out at 1. Piper delivers a standard dropkick to Iphy and now she goes for a pin, but she kicks out at 1. Pridemore delivers a snap german suplex to Wasabi and bridges in to the pin, but only gets a 2. Pridemore brings Wasabi up, but he fires off a few right hands and a hard chop, followed by a spinning heel kick. Iphy catches Piper with a judo toss and holds on to the arm, looking for a seated armbar. Wilde counters a tornado DDT attempt from Tasmin, shoves her back in to the corner and catches her with a dragon suplex as she bounces back. He bridges for the pin, but she manages to kick out at 2.

Phoenix: Back and forth action here as everyone is looking for a pint o take the early lead. The pairings are a bit interesting, but what will be really intriguing is if we see any kind of partnerships. Typically with these multi man matches, first pin wins. With that you see brief team ups and alliances in order to take one or more people out. With this though, would it be smarter to stay on one opponent, work to wear them down and hit your big move to get a pin fall, then hit it again and again? Right now the biggest question is, who will take that first fall, and of course will anyone try to break it up?

Piper is able to work her way out of the armbar attempt from Iphy and manages to turn it into a Northern Lights suplex that nets her a 2 count. Tasmin has rolled to the apron and when Wilde goes to bring her up to her feet, she hits him with a stiff forearm, springboards up and nails him with a vicious knee strike. Wasabi hit a DDT to Pridemore, then follows withn a leaping senton. Wasabi hooks the leg, but Pridemore manages to kick out at 2. Wasabi brings him back to his feet, but Pridemore pokes him in the eye, shoves him back and then levels him with The Highlight Reel bicycle kick. Pridemore looks down at Wasabi, then he looks over to see Iphy and Piper locked up and fighting for a superior position. Tasmin attempts a headscissors to Wilde and this time he lands on his feet. Pridemore slides out of the ring, raises the apron and then pulls out a steel chair. He slides back inside and the ref warns him that he will subtract a point if he uses the weapon. Pridemore shrugs and blasts Wasabi with the weapon as he gets to his feet. The ref quickly calls for the DQ, but Pridemore doesn't care as he hits Iphy, then Tasmin, then Wilde, and finally Lockwood, taking all of them down.

Mackenzie: James Pridemore has been disqualified and will lose one point.

Phoenix: James Pridemore has taken the lead here, and put himself up by two falls on everyone. You can hate the strategy all you want, but it was incredibly effective for him. Piper Lockwood kicks out there, but she's a bit shaken as is everyone else in this match. It was cheap, it was dirty, but it worked and he could have just punched his ticket to the number one contender spot.

Pridemore is screaming at the official that he needs to learn how to count right and faster. he should have been able to pin all five of them, but because he's slow and worthless, he only got three. As Pridemore is screaming, Iphy gets to her feet, spins him around and catches him with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Iphy stays on the attack, hauls Pridemore up to the top rope and then delivers the Fall from Olympus. Iphy makes the cover

Phoenix: Wow, I can't believe this right here. In a bid to even this thing back up and get some revenge on Pridemore for those chair shots, all five of the other competitors are allowing each other to hit their big move and get a pin on him. I can honestly say that I never expected this to happen.

Piper Lockwood pushes the rest of them out of the way, brings Pridemore back up, and then hits The Lockdown. She makes the cover and blows a mocking kiss towards the crowd as the ref makes the count.

Wasabi nods, goes up to the top rope then comes crashing straight down on Pridemore with a shooting star splash. Wasabi rolls off, looks up at Iphy and tells her to take his pin. She looks slightly confused by that, but shrugs her shoulders and decides to take it. Unfortunately, Tasmin, Piper, and Wilde don't agree with that. They point up at the scoreboard and tell her that any other falls are gonna be earned.

Phoenix: Well it looks like the five person alliance might be over, but we could have another one between Wasabi and Iphy, and Tasmin, Piper, and Wilde. James Pridemore might just be done after all the abuse he suffered, but he is still in the lead. It's cut down to one point, but it's still the lead and we're ten minutes in now. Halfway through this match, up by one, he might just need to play a bit of defense. If he can recover that is.

Pridemore rolls to the outside as Tasmin, Wilde, Wasabi and Iphy are having a few words with each other. All four of them turn to look at the scoreboard and then nod. Tasmin and Wilde deliver forearm shots to Iphy and Wasabi respectively, and they are quickly returned. They trade shots for a bit while Piper Lockwood is keeping her distance. Wasabi and Iphy get the upper hand and Iphy takes Tasmin down with a waist lock as Wasabi sends Wilde into the corner. He connects with a running dropkick and follows with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Iphy has Tasmin down but is distracted as Wasabi tells her to pin Wilde. This allows Tasmin to get back to her feet and she catches Iphy with a tornado DDT. Wilde shakes the cobwebs and catches Wasabi with a Tilt o Whirl Head Scissors that sends him flying to the outside. Wilde follows him to the outside with a Tope Con Giro that takes him out. Wilde turns back towards the ring just in time to get taken out courtesy of a suicide dive from Tasmin. Inside the ring, Piper Lockwood takes advantage and strikes iphy with the P.L. Superkick. Piper makes the cover

Phoenix: Piper Lockwood now tied with James Pridemore and she might have just turned this match in her favor. Smart strategy right there. With uneven numbers she decided to hang back, let them fight and then she seized the opportunity when it came her way. Her and Pridemore being tied now, brings up an interesting scenario. if the match were to end right now, would we see those two go in to a sudden death type of match, right here tonight? Would they both receive a title match or would they face off next week in a second number one contenders match?

Tasmin hops up to the apron and springboards back in, nailing Piper with a springboard foream. Tasmin looks to stay on the attack but Piper rolls to the outside. James Pridemore is back in and he drills Tasmin with a bicycle knee strike that takes her down. He quickly applies On Lock and has Tasmin right in the middle of the ring. Tasmin squirms and struggles to try and gets the ropes or break the hold, but Pridemore has it applied perfectly in the center of the ring. Tasmin looks close to tapping when Jack Wilde comes off the top rope with a flying knee drop. Wilde rolls through, pops up to his feet and delivers a running knee strike to Pridemore. Tasmin gets up and looks at Wilde, then gives him a hug. he pushes her back, points up to the scoreboard, then kicks her in the gut and delivers an Over the Shoulder Back to Belly Piledriver. Wilde quickly covers and hooks both legs

Phoenix: Jack Wilde keeping Pridemore from regaining the solo lead and then he gets a point for himself as we see Tasmin's sweet nature and naivety cost her. Right now, it's a three way tie between Piper, Pridemore and Wilde, but there is still time as Iphy and Tasmin are only down by one. Wasabi still has zero points, and he seems to be trying to help Iphy win this match. I'm not sure why he's doing that for sure. Maybe he has some type of crush on her. I believe she is involved though. I hope Wasabi knows that and this is just some type of strange strategy. if not, he could end up double crushed. Once when she rejects him, twice when he realizes he gave up a chance to become the number one contender. He's a strange guy for sure, but is this a situation where he's just baiting everyone in with his antics.

Iphy slides back in to the ring, looks down at Pridemore and quickly goes into the set up for Clutch of the Titans. Aftr a few rolls, cranking and torquing the neck, she transitions into the choke. She has him right in the middle of the ring as Piper is recovering on the outside, Tasmin is pulling herself up in the corner and Wilde has just taken Wasabi back out with a Tope Con Hilo. Pridemore tries to hold out and work to break the submission, but Iphy has it locked in. Pridemore rolls forward and tries to turn it into a pin, but Iphy is able to power back up and break it. Pridemore has no choice and taps out.

THR- BROKEN UP BY WASABI!

Wilde is right in the face of Wasabi, upset at the interference and asking him what the hell he is doing. they start trading punches as Tasmin is starting to fade from the sleeper by Lockwood. The ref grabs her arm and it drops once. He raises it and it drops for a second time. He raises it once more, but this time it doesn't drop. Instead she grabs the head of Piper Lockwood and sits out, hitting her with a stunner. Wilde gets the advantage and plats Wasabi with a Front Flip DDT. Pridemore is getting up to his feet near the corner and Wilde decides to get two birds with one stone as he delivers a running front dropkick to Pridemore and nails a senton splash on Wasabi. THR - BROKEN UP BY IPHY!

Phoenix: Iphy returns the favor there for Wasabi, but I think it might have been a bit more self preservation. Two minutes left, five competitors tied with two points a piece and this has been a lot of fun to watch.

Wilde and Iphy start trading chops back and forth as Piper and Tasmin are both on their feet. they start trading forearm shots while Wasabi and Pridemore ar both slowly working to their feet. Iphy ducks a chop by Wilde and catches him with a chop block. Piper gets the upper hand on Tasmin and looks for the sleeper once again, this time Tasmin blocks it and hits a snapmare. Iphy looks for an overhead belly to belly on Wilde, but he manages to block it. he looks for a dragon suplex, but Wasabi hits him with a clubbing blow to the back. Wasabi follows up with a vicious spinebuster and puts him near the ropes as he starts climbing. Piper is a bit wobbly and Tasmin catches her with the Tazzie Devil. Pridemore is up and he spins Iphy around, nailing The Upstart right as Wasabi flies off the top rope and crashes down on Wilde with a shooting star press. Tasmin crawls to the cover right as Pridemore is about to cover Iphy. Wasabi stops him though, hits him with a hard overhand right and starts dragging Iphy towards Wilde. meanwhile then ref is counting Tasmin's pin

Phoenix: A huge win there for Tasmin in the closing seconds of this match. James Pridemore came close with his strategy of taking a DQ early and taking everyone out with a steel chair, but Tasmin's high flying, high octane style and heart earn her the victory here tonight.

Piper Lockwood rolls out and just walks up the ramp, ignoring the fans along the way. Jack Wilde gives Tasmin a nod and then heads up. Iphy does the same, as does Wasabi. meanwhile Pridemore is telling anyone and everyone that he had the damn three. Tasmin is all smiles as the ref raises her hand. She gets out of the ring and high fives a few fans, then turns as her boyfriend comes down the ramp. He gives her a kiss and raises her hand high in the air. They start heading up the ramp and Jason tells Tasmin he'll soften Danielle up for her. Tasmin tries to tell him no as they head towards the back, but he seems insistent.

Phoenix: Well, we now know that Tasmin Richards will challenge Danielle Basch for the South Bay championship, and they could have interesting implications on our next match. i know one thing though, I hope to see more of these scramble matches. That was exciting to watch and I feel like it's a great way to determine a truly worthy challenger or champion.

We open to Austen Blackwell in his shared locker room with James Pridmore. He’s resting before the big main event. Just then, black smoke begins to fill the room. The evil laughter of Nite Stalker begins to fill the room, making the locker room completely black.

Suddenly, James Pridmore busts through the door. The door slams shut behind him ,and there is a sound of a scuffle. The darkness begins to fade, as we see James protectively standing over confused Austen Blackwell. Austen has on red line running down his face, meaning Nite Stalker hadn’t finished his assault just yet. The smoke fades through a vent, as we hear Nite Stalker’s laughter disappears through venting system.

James picks up Austen, and Austen smiles.

Austen: Thanks man, you saved me!

James: Don’t mention it, Austen! I said I we were going to work together to fight this thing, and I meant it.

Austen: I’ll see you in the lumberjack match.

James: See you out there!

They shake hands, and both men walk out of the locker room.

The room is empty now, as the room fills with smoke again. Demonic laughter is heard. Just as fast as the darkness filled the room, it disappears. As the light returns, it shows the room destroyed, and pictures of James and Austen with red crosses on their faces, thrown all over the place.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, he weighs in at two hundred and five pounds, from Forth Worth, Texas... JASON HUNTER!

The lights dim slightly as dark green lights aim at the entrance way. Smoke starts to slowly rise up from the ramp as ‘Like A Nightmare’ begins to play. Jason Hunter walks out with a determined looks on his face. He stands there in the smoke for a few minutes before raising his right hand high. He looks down at the ramp. bring his arm down and fires an imaginary arrow down the ramp, then charges. He slides in the ring, jumps up to the second turnbuckle and stares out at the audience as they boo. He gives them the double gun salute, then jumps down and turns towards the ramp, facing his next target.

Mackenzie: His opponent, she weighs in at one hundred and twenty pounds, from El Segundo, California, she is the South Bay Champion... DANIELLE BASCH!

As the intro to “Applause” by Lady Gaga begins to play, Danni emerges from behind the curtain. She stands in the center of the stage, surveying the crowd as she smiles. As the music kicks up, she runs to one corner of the stage, clapping in time to the music as the crowd does the same. She then does the same on the other side, before walking down to the ring apron. She runs around the ring, psyching up the crowd before running up the ring steps. She walks along the ring apron, stopping about halfway as she faces the ring, then drops down into the splits before sliding under the bottom rope. She then gets back to her feet and heads to her corner, mounting the turnbuckle and saluting the crowd once more before jumping back down and waiting for the match to begin.

Phoenix: Interesting match up here. Both are coming off of big wins Crossroad Ascension, and they were recently on opposite sides of a tag match on Unscripted, Danielle partnering with her husband while Hunter partnered with his girlfriend. They will also both be involved in the main event later tonight as Danielle was chosen as a lumberjack by Donovan Basch, while Hunter was chosen as a lumberjack by the reigning West Coast Genesis champion, Juliana DiMaria. On top of that, we heard the comments earlier in the night from Jason Hunter. He believes that he should be the one fighting for the title, and a win here tonight would certainly add to his claim for number one contendership.

DING DING DING

As soon as the bell rings, Danielle charges Hunter and hits a picture perfect dropkick that sends him straight out of the ring. She follows with a suicide dive that drives him straight back in to the barricade. The crowd is even more behind her now as she has fired them up less than thirty seconds in to the match. Danielle hauls Hunter up and sends him right back in to the ring. Danielle springboards up to the top rope and takes Hunter down with a crossbody as soon as he gets back up. She rolls off, hops up, leaps to the second rope and hits a perfect lionsault. She hooks the leg, but Hunter kicks out at 1. Hunter is angry as he gets up, but he's quickly rocked courtesy of an enziguri from Danielle. Hunter is shaken and Danielle takes advantage with a flying head scissors the sends him flying in to the ropes. As he comes back at her she leaps up and hits a reverse huricanrana, spiking him on his head. Danielle makes the cover, but Hunter manages to kick out at 2. Hunter rolls out of the ring to try and get some separation, but Danielle is relentless as she follows him to the outside, connecting with a tope con giro. Danielle again pulls him up and sends him back inside. She hops up on the apron, jumps up to the second rope, then uses that momentum to springboard up to the top, where she turns and hits a modified double jump moonsault. Danielle hooks the leg for the cover, but Hunter manages to kick out at 2.

Phoenix: Wow, this match has been all Danielle Basch so far. Normally we see Hunter attacking when the bell rings and throwing his opponents off, but Danielle had him well scouted. She is using those kicks and the various moonsaults along with her high flying high risk style to really take it to Hunter. He has got to find a way to get back in this one or it could be over very quick.

Danielle brings Hunter right back up, hits a spinning wheel kick that rocks him slightly, then hits a basement dropkick to the back of his knees to bring him down a bit. Danielle hits the ropes behind him, comes running past him, hits the other opes to build up more speed and connects with a shining wizard. Danielle quickly makes the cover

THRE - KICK OUT!

Danielle nods as the ref assures her that it was very close. She decides to pull Hunter up, looking for another big move, but he rakes the eyes and delivers a front chop block. Hunter takes some time to catch his breath and shake the cobwebs, but then he's on the attack, stomping away at the knee of Danielle. He delivers several stomps, grabs the foot, delivers a swift kick to the knee, then delivers a KneeDT. Hunter grabs the leg again and delivers a modified dragon screw leg whip, driving the knee straight down to the mat. Hunter pulls Danielle up, delivers a hard kick to the knee, then powers her up on to his shoulder. Hunter crosses Danielle's knees over each other and then drops down, driving all her weight straight down on the knees. Hunter again brings Danielle up by her hair, which gets him a warning from the ref that he just waves off. Hunter then delivers a vicious shin breaker and follows it up with a regular dragon screw leg whip. Hunter keeps his grip on the ankle, and gets up, still holding the leg of Danielle. He delivers another swift kick to the leg, then grabs Danielle's left arm, He brings it down towards her leg, then puts her left leg over it. he grabs the right arm and places it over her left leg, locking the wrist and ankle in place. He gives her right leg another kick, then bring it over her right arm and left leg. he quickly turns her over while still holding the ankle. He applies a bit of pressure to do more damage to the leg, then releases, leaving her trapped. Hunter steps back, then hits the ropes and flies forward, delivering a basement dropkick that hits her right in the damaged leg.

Phoenix: Well, the game plan of Hunter is obvious here. Attack the leg, attack the leg some more, and then keep attacking the leg. This assault of course all started with a cheap rake of the eyes, but since that he has been relentless. I hate that he used such a low attack to get this going, but the plan is brilliant. He takes away the legs, he takes away the kicks, the high flying, the moonsaults, The Riptide. I completely disagree with the tactics he uses, but right now we see him in full control.

Hunter pulls Danielle up to her feet, and she can barely put any kind of weight on the leg. hunter laughs, then hops over the top rope, slingshots in and looks for the lariat. Danielle manages to duck it and when Hunter turns around, she catches him with a superkick. Hunter falls straight down, but Danielle goes down in a heap as she instinctively used the right leg to hit the kick. Hunter uses the ropes to get to his feet and sees Danielle on her knees. Hunter charges and looks for Between The Eyes, but she manages to roll out of the way. Hunter turns and gets caught with the Boot-a-rang out of nowhere. Again Danielle used the damaged leg and can't quite capitalize. She starts to crawl towards the pin, and covers Hunter hooking the leg

TH - KICK OUT!

Danielle and Hunter both use the ropes to pull themselves up to their feet. Danielle meets Hunter in the middle of the ring and fires off a hard forearm shot. Hunter comes right back with one of his own. Danielle fires off another and another, having to change up her style a little with the damaged leg. Danielle goes for another but Hunter ducks it and looks for The Lung Shot. Danielle manages to counter out of it and nails a second Boot-a-rang. This time instead of going for the pin, she pulls herself up with the ropes and starts climbing. It's a slow climb, but she gets to the top rope and has Hunter right in position. She skips the usual theatrics and flies off the top rope with the Riptide. Hunter manages to roll out of the way and she crashes down hard on the mat. Hunter is up, and with Danielle flat on her back, he grabs the leg, crosses her left under the knee, brings his hands through and turns her over, applying an inverted cloverleaf. Danielle scrambles, pulling herself towards the ropes to try and break the submission. Before she can get to close though, Hunter drops down and applies a body scissors, stretching her out and halting her progress towards the ropes.

Phoenix: An absolutely brutal submission here by Jason Hunter. I had heard he'd been working on something new and I think that this might just be the submission he's calling The Gunrack. I was expecting some type of torture rack maneuver, but this right here is dangerous and brutal and can be applied to absolutely anyone. Danielle Basch trying to get the ropes here and break this. She showed a lot of resolve already, coming back, hitting some high impact moves and then meeting him right in the middle of the ring. I know she is tough and proud, but sometimes it's better to take a loss and live to fight another day.

Danielle somehow manages to pull herself forward a bit, and starts twisting and turning, rocking her body back and forth. She gets a little momentum and pushes herself up, then shoves off, causing her and Hunter to roll towards the ropes. The ref calls for the break but Hunter holds on

Hunter breaks it at the last possible second. Hunter is pissed off as he rips his arm sleeve off and tosses it down in frustration. Danielle slowly pulls herself up in the corner, and Hunter charges forward. Hunter nails a discus lariat in the corner, stealing a page from his mentors book. Danielle stumbles out of the corner and Hunter grabs the arm, slides under and hooks her for The Last Hunt. Hunter brings her up, but Danielle manages to counter out of it. She ends up on the shoulders of Hunter and rolls off, looking for the victory roll. Hunter manages to reverse it into a school boy, and he pulls the shorts of Danielle for leverage. the ref doesn't see it as he starts the count

Mackenzie: Your winner by pin fall... JASON HUNTER!

Phoenix: OH COME ON!. Not like that, not like that. These two just put on a hell of a match, Danielle Basch showed heart and guts and proved why she is a champion, then jason Hunter pulls that crap and steals a win? It's just not right.

Hunter has rolled out of the ring as Danielle looks at him with a mix of shock on disgust on her face. Hunter looks at her and just laughs as he celebrates the win with all the fans booing him. Hunter looks at her with a wide smile "Just imagine if that was a title match." Hunter mocks Danielle by making the title belt motion around his waist, then walks backwards up the ramp. He stops and looks out at the fans "That's one more name to cross off the endangered wrestlers list. Danielle is upset as she grabs her title and starts heading up the ramp. She high fives a few fans, but is clearly pissed with how the match ended.

Scene opens inside the dressing room shared by Danielle and Donovan Basch. Donovan is busy preparing for his huge title opportunity against West Coast Champion Julianna DiMaria while his wife sits nearby, a look of annoyance clouding her features. Donovan pauses in his preparations, looking at her with concern.

Donovan: Are you alright, dearest?

Danielle: I'm still kind of ticked off with what Hunter did during our match…..

Donovan: And you have every right to be, but all that proves is that he can't defeat you by honest means.

Danielle: I just don't want to put a damper on things, tonight of all nights…..

Donovan engulfs Danielle’s hands in his own.

Donovan: Don't worry; you're not.

Danielle: I’m not even going to worry about that anymore. After all, tonight is about you…

Donovan: No, Danielle, tonight is about us. Without your love and faith in me, I doubt I'd have made it this far.

Danielle looks up at her husband and smiles.

Danielle: As if being an absolute beast in that ring didn’t have a hand in it as well. You were bound to get to this point sooner or later, I’m just glad I get to be here to witness it first hand.

Donovan: I wouldn't have it any other way…

He stands, pulling her up with him. Once they are both on their feet, he pulls her into an embrace, kissing her on the top of her head.

Danielle: Mmmmm, I could stay here all night, but YOU have a championship to win. So finish up….

She steps back, gazing at her husband with pride in her eyes as she goes to grab her championship belt. She drapes it over her shoulder and steps backward toward the door, her eyes locked onto Donovan as the smile on her face gets even bigger.

Danielle: What do you say we go out there and get some gold around that gorgeous waist of yours?

Donovan smiles at his wife as he catches her eyes trailing down to his midsection. He gives it a quick glance before chuckling softly. As he looks back at Danielle, the smile widens into a wicked grin as he follows his wife out of the dressing room.

With that, the scene cuts away.

"Bad Bitch" by Bebe Rexha plays over the PA system as WCG General Manager Mercedes Carter heads down the entrance ramp. She slaps the hands of a few fans as she rounds the ring and takes a seat next to Hayden Phoenix on commentary.

Phoenix: Ladies and gentleman we are finally here, the main event of the evening and we have a special guest with us in the WCG General Manager Mercedes Carter.

Carter: Thanks right, I’m here to keep order and have fun so to speak.

Once the opening chords of "Not The Nicest Guy" echo through the arena, Donovan emerges from the backstage area, taking his time to survey the arena and the fans attending the event. He plasters a subtle smile upon his face and makes his way to the ring, chuckling to himself as he soaks in the reaction of the crowd. Once he reaches the ring, he performs a standing jump from the floor to the apron, pausing long enough to shoot one last look over his shoulder before entering the ring.

Phoenix: Have you ever seen Donovan look so focused?

Carter: Once, when he was getting married.

Mackenzie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. And it is for the West Coast CHampionship! First to the ring he is the challenger.. he is Donovan Basch!

“Boss's Daughter” hits the speakers as Julianna DiMaria appears on the stage, greeted by some boos from the fans in attendance. She ignores them and heads down to the ring with a confident, focused look on her face. Once she heads inside the ring, she cracks her knuckles, indicating she's ready to fight and afterward does the "talk to the hand" gesture toward all the fans that are booing her, displaying another touch of arrogance to get the fans against her even more.. She heads to her corner and scoffs at the reaction she's getting as the song fades.

Mackenzie: And the WCG West Coast Champion... she is Julianna DiMaria!

Phoenix: So Julianna is looking more and more confident every time she steps into the ring, what do you think her chances are here tonight?

Carter: Anything can happen in the WCG, we all know that first hand. Given that there will be 6 other people out side the ring to uphold the law, I think this is going to be a well rounded contest.

The fans start to react as the lumberjacks start down to the ring. Danni Basch, Austen Blackwell and Melina Garrison take their place on Donovan's side of the ring while, Jason Hunter, Sela-Rica Lark and James Pridmore make their way down to Julianna’s side of the ring. Julianna nods towards Jimmy then smirks out at Melina. Melina looks at her with disgust and DiMaria spits out of the ring at Melina. Melina jumps up on the apron but Austen and Danni bull her back before she gets Donovan Dq’ed before the match begins.

Phoenix: Already some fire works.

Carter: She better hope she doesn’t fall to the outside. In this type of match not only is Melina her judge and jury, but also the executioner.

DING DING DING

The bell sounds and DiMaria rushes in at Basch, catching him off guard she lands several rights to his face staggering him into the corner. She quickly hooks one of his arms around the rope kicking the elbow hard and causing Basch to shake it in pain. Basch swings at her but she ducks under the swing, grabs his arm and land an Arm drag out of the corner. She rolls through the drag quickly twisting and landing a dragon whip kick more on the same arm of Basch. With Basch face down she drags his arm and pins it to the canvas launching herself into the air she drives both knees into the back of Basch’s Arm. She puts her knee into his elbow and starts to apply a modified arm lock.

Phoenix: She is really working that arm.

Basch rolls through the armlock but DiMaria Quickly transitions into an armbar. Basch fights his way to his feet but DiMaria will not let go. In one swift motion Basch Lifts her up with one arm and before she adjust he catches her mid-transition with a huge powerslam. Basch pushes himself up but his arm is almost rendered useless as he winces while trying to bend it. DiMaria rolls to her feet rushing at Basch attempting what looks to be a spear, Basch move out of the way and she tumbles through the ropes to the outside.

Phoenix: This is a good thing at least she is on her side of the ring. One mix up on the other side and...

Carter: She will regret spitting at another superstar.

James quickly helps DiMaria up and checks to see if she it ok. He stalls for a few moments checking on her as the ref yells for him to put her back in the ring. James walks her over to the steps and helps her up the steps as the fans boo. As James sits on the ropes to let DiMaria in, Basch rushes at both of them. DiMaria Quickly lands a drop toe hold and Basch gets tied up on the ropes throat first as he clutches in neck in response to it.

Phoenix: Ouch!

Pridmore has a good laugh as DiMaria hooks Basch’s head and lands a swinging neck breaker. She then goes back to work on his arm landing a couple of stops to it. She pulls Basch up and gets her hands smacked away as he lands a few rights. He pushes her into the ropes and whips her across the ring. As she comes back as she jumps landing a Crossbody, but Basch rolls through it and comes up standing with her in his arms. He lifts her in the air but his arm gives out and DiMaria hooks him around the head landing a flawless DDT spiking Basch hard. His head is planted. She rolls Basch over and covers

Kickout.

Phoenix: That was close.

Carter: She has really kept the bigger man down.

DiMaria stalks Basch as he staggers to his feet disorientated. She grabs him from behind looking for DiMaria Code. Basch turns away from the move and pushes her into the ropes as she bounces back he catches her and lands a huge spine buster. Basch pops to his feet and bangs his chest as he grabs her by the hair and yanks her to her feet. DiMaria quickly pops Basch in the eyes the ref does not see, and runs up the turnbuckles. She jumps going for another Crossbody but Basch moves and she eats canvas hard. Basch falls against the ropes trying to stretch out his arm as DiMaria gets to her feet in pain.

Phoenix: That’s why they call it High Risk.

DiMaria rushes at Basch but Basch low bridges the ropes with one arm and DiMaria goes falling out side on Basch’s side of the ring.

Phoenix: Oh no.

Carter: Karma.

Danni and Austen back up and DiMaria gets to her feet and looks at them. Melina taps DiMaria on the shoulder and she turns around into a right hook. Melina grabs her by the hair and whips her into the guard rail before laying the boots to her midsection. She then jumps up and lands a hurricanrana to DiMaria as Danni attempts to put her into the ring. Melina stops her and continues her assault. With the refs attention on the other side of the ring, Basch leans against the opposite side ropes as James jumps up onto the ring apron. The referee sees it and tells him to back off.

Carter: The referee doing a damn good job!

Danni and Austen grab Julianna by the hair and drag her up to her feet. They roll her back into the ring. Donovan charges forward towards her and hits a vicious clothesline that nearly spins her inside out. He grabs her and drags her to her feet, and hits Military Press Michinoku Driver II.

Phoenix: Basch is clearly in control now.

Donovan makes the cover.

And the champion kicks out.

Carter: It is going to take a lot to keep her down. More than that.

Phoenix: I am afraid you are right.

Donovan heads back up to his feet. He grabs Julianna and lifts her up. Looking for an Irish Whip, he sends her towards her side of the ring. She grabs the ropes to stop her momentum. As Donovan charges, she pulls down the top rope sending the big man up and over the top rope and spilling to the outside. This allows Sela, Jason, and James to get in some good licks. Stomps and strikes, Donovan manages to get back up to his feet. He backs them all up as he looks up and DiMaria leaps over the top rope coming right for him with a flying forearm smash. Donovan manages to catch her at his shoulders. He looks at Pridmore and smiles, launching DiMaria at Pridmore in a powerbomb like move.

Phoenix: Wow!

Carter: That is some strength!

Donovan rolls back into the ring as Julianna and James both are slow to their feel. Sela and Jason want no part of helping them. Jimmy tries to call timeout for Julianna as Austen and Danni begin to round the ring.

Phoenix: This is not looking good boss.

Before they get there, Julianna rolls back into the ring. Donovan stomps down at her, but she rolls out of the way. She manages to get behind him and hits a chopblock to the challenger. He drops to one knee as Julianna heads for the ropes looking for a running knee. She connects as he drops to both knees. She tries to a second, but this time it stopped in her tracks as he gets a hand around the throat. Lifting up to his feet, Donovan grabs Julianna and hits a Crucifix Powerbomb sending her to the mat. He covers.

Julianna gets up to her feet as she grabs Basch and hits DiMaria Code (Skull Crushing Finale) but she is exhaust to make the immediate cover. She finally moves over to him and she covers, but the referee waves it off. Donovan's leg was under the bottom rope. She groans as she raises up to her feet and tries to drag him towards the middle. He overcomes the pain and pulls his arm, sending her into the corner hitting it hard. Basch grabs the rope and heads up to his feet. He grabs her arm and sends her into the ropes. She rebounds as he hits a LOUD spinebuster.

Phoenix: This might be it! The end may be near!

The crowd raises to their feet. Donovan drags her up to her feet as he lifts her up. He stalls for a second then bounces her midsection off of the ropes slamming her down with a wicked Stalling Brainbuster.

Phoenix: That was Jason Perry’s old finisher... Total Devastation.

Carter: What a move!

Basch drops for the cover and drapes an arm across DIMaria.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING

Phoenix: We have a new West Coast Champion ladies and gentleman!

Mercedes takes the headphones off as the referee is handed the title.

Mackenzie: The winner of the match and NEW West Coast Genesis West Coast Champion... he is... DONOVAN BASCH!

The referee goes to hand the title to Donova, but James rolls into the ring and snatches it away. He hands it to Julianna as he helps her up to her feet. Mercedes sees this and rolls into the ring. She warns Julianna to give the title up, and in a shocking moment, the GM rips the title out of the hands of DiMaria. Before she can do anything, Danni, Austen, and Melina roll into the ring. James and Julianna roll out and head up the ramp where Sela and Jason already made their way not wanting anything to do with the former champion.

Phoenix: What.. wow... what a match!

Austen pats Donovan on the back as he opens the ropes for Mercedes. Melina says a few words before pointing towards the title as she exits the ring leaving just Donovan and Danni. With her championship belt draped over her shoulder, she looks on as Donovan drops to his knees, staring deep into the center plate of his championship. As he slowly processes the fact that he is now the West Coast Champion, he looks up to find his wife standing there, holding out a hand to help him to his feet. He takes her hand, then scoops Danni into a tight embrace to the delight of the crowd. They linger for a moment before breaking off the embrace, then exchange a few words before Danni points at the West Coast Championship, then grabs him by his free hand. Then, standing side by side, they raise their respective championships over their heads as the crowd roars in approval.

Phoenix: West Coast Genesis has a power couple!

The show ends on that line.
