An evening out at dinner in Rome, Italy, Avery and Serenity Miles are having dinner with RC Tucker and Daisy Rose. The four of them sit at a table as they were having a night out to enjoy their time in Europe. Daisy was traveling with Avery and Serenity as RC had obligations in other companies to tend to as well. Avery raises his glass of wine.
Avery: To family. Friends. And all those connected in our lives.
RC: To making new experiences and doing the best we can with what we have.
The girls look at each other, before at their guys.
Serenity: To our kids, and giving them everything they could want, or need.
Daisy: Screw you guys, I’m greedy, to wins and championships.
RC: Here, here… I think.
RC raises his glass and all four lightly clink together before taking a drink.
RC: And honestly, much thanks to you both for helping out Daisy. Not much I can do across a pond that’s about a thousand miles across.
Avery: It’s all good, man. I am just glad it works out. Plus Serenity and I are getting ready to our little one, so the practice of watching your little one helps. In that mindset, thanks to you.
He smiles as he takes a sip of his wine.
Avery: Glad to be back in NGW? I am sure that you enjoy the time back with Daisy.
He looks over to Serenity, and smiles placing his hand on hers, glad that he was able to still have her travel with him so far.
Serenity: I’m having fun with Kathleen. She is a sweetie. Least while I can still travel.
Serenity was trying not to think about when she couldn’t travel. She looks at Avery as she smiles, while Daisy looks at RC.
Daisy: Im glad he is back. It helps me out a lot more I think.
RC: I just do the best I can but I gotta be straight up man, I’m starting to become a damn insomniac. And all the mental stuff that comes with that on top of what I have already...
RC shakes his head and sighs.
RC: But I’ll tell you all something, my girls help keep me grounded. That there’s people looking out for them when I can’t isn’t something keeping me up at least. And as for being back in NGW? That’s just another case of things changing, but staying the same.
Avery nods in agreement.
Avery: Yeah, I get it. But yeah. Gotta stay grounded. Serenity has been doing that for me. And soon enough we'll know more about our little one. We’ve been working on names too.
Daisy: What names do you have picked out so far?
Serenity smiles softly.
Serenity: Journey if it’s a girl.
Avery: And Avery, obviously, for a boy. Keeping with the family name.
He smiles.
RC: Hey, that’s what happened with our girl. Kathleen was my mom’s name.
Daisy: Yeah, I think your Dad looks at Princess at times, and thinks of your mom too babe.
Daisy reaches for RC’s hand, as she takes it into hers.
Serenity: Avery’s name has been through a few generations as well, but sometimes it’s good to have some sort of tradition.
RC: Well you just let us know if we need to be on the lookout for 4AM.
Avery laughs.
Avery: We should know around Valentine’s Day. So that will be nice. But more than anything, just trying to get things going in a positive direction. Glad to have Daisy on the same page as Damon and Alex. And then with the Global Cup coming up… I hope to make WrestleForce a big deal this year for me. 2018 is going to be a great year.
He has another sip of his wine as their food comes.
Avery: Mmmm. Mushroom ravioli. This smells amazing.
Serenity looks at it, as she wrinkled her nose.
Serenity, Looking at that doesn’t look good… I think I better keep my eyes on my own food.
She looks down at her own food, as it was Lasagna. Daisy meanwhile had cheese tortellini. Daisy laughs lightly.
Daisy: Least it’s food giving you sickness. My problem was a certain meathead.
Avery: What’s wrong with my ravioli?
He takes a big bite.
RC: Yea, a meathead who’s ass you totally kicked!
RC’s alfredo linguine steamed and bubbled. He poured a few soup crackers in it and started eating.
Avery: Thank you both for joining us. It is nice to get out with other parents. I mean, I know we aren’t yet, but we are more of the homebodies than go out and party.
He takes another bite.
Serenity: I don’t think my husband knows about morning sickness you could say.
Daisy laughs, as she looks at RC.
Daisy: Thankfully RC did. Really it’s no problem, it is nice. It’s one thing I do like about all of us in Rebel Society, all married to amazing people, and all have kids, or will be having kids. We all get how it is.
She looks over to Serenity, and Avery.
Daisy: Plus you are helping us out as well so it’s fair.
Avery: We are just glad to be getting some experience with your little one.
RC: Experience, heh? Should’ve been there for the projectile vomit fiasco. Never saw Daisy run so fast even in training.
RC keeps eating.
RC: No seriously, it’s always an experience. It’s actually when they start moving that you have to be careful. Because then you actually have to catch them.
Serenity sets her fork down, as she looks at her food, than at RC. She goes to get up.
Serenity: I umm.. Excuse me, I need to use the restroom.
She quickly heads off for it, as Daisy shakes her head. She goes to get up.
Daisy: I’ll go make sure she’s fine, I been there before.
Avery: Thanks.
He looks over to RC.
Avery: I couldn’t imagine. I mean, I eat something that upsets my stomach and I just want to sleep. I don’t know how they do it.
He takes another bite. He looks back in hopes Serenity was okay. RC nods in response.
RC: We got lucky. Once the morning sickness was done, the only thing was when freakin Mason loved to post pics of himself almost as much as Twetter women do.
After about ten minutes, both girls come back. They take their seats, as Serenity grabs her class of water, and takes a drink. She looks down.
Serenity: I think I’m alright for now….
Daisy: You should be. Let’s hope at least for now, while we eat.
Avery puts his hand to her back.
Avery: You need to get back to the hotel and lay down, angel?
He was concerned and wanted her to rest.
RC: Probably best if you do Ser. You look worse than flying back and forth half way across the world four times in two weeks. Daisy and I will handle this.
A waiter comes by.
Avery: Can we have a couple of boxes please to go?
He nods and leaves.
Avery: Thank you both for dinner. We are going to get back to the hotel so she can rest up.
Serenity nods her head, as she smiles lightly at them.
Serenity: I’m sorry to ruin dinner for us. Peanut is sorry too.
Daisy shakes her head, as she waves Serenity off.
Daisy: It is alright Serenity. Rest, and just enjoy the rest of your night as much as you can. We will see you tomorrow.
The waiter comes back and helps to put the food into boxes. Avery and Serenity hug RC and Daisy, as they make their way out of the restaurant and back to the hotel.
Avery: To family. Friends. And all those connected in our lives.
