Local Italian Reporter: (Translated from Italian to English) “You’ve held the Five Lakes Title since October. You’ve only defended it a few times since then. Are you willing to defend the title more or is it a management situation why you aren’t defending the title more?”
Jack Tillman: “To say that I’m not a fighting champion is ridiculous and don’t know my history in NGW. When I was the then Genesis Champion last year, I was defending that title on every show. I didn’t complain that I was. I found it a challenge and I stepped up to it. With this go around for both the NGW Tag and Five Lakes Title, management has decided not to give me that type of schedule. Chris Constantine and myself have voiced our opinions on the matter that I wouldn’t mind defending both titles more. That and defend them against tougher and more deserving opponents. If people want a title opportunity then ask. Im not that hard to find. But I’m not looking for them opponents either. That’s not how it should work.”
American Sports Reporter: “Speaking of opponents. Are you looking forward to facing Jazmyn Rain again?”
Jack Tillman: “Jazmyn had her chance. She lost. Why she was given another opportunity is beyond me. If management wants another sports entertainer as a champion then they chose the wrong title to make it happen. Give me Envy. Give me Danielson. Give me KEG. Give me people who have not only accomplished things here in NGW, but also in other organizations that’s a household name and not one found in a bingo hall. Jazmyn Rain is a big deal in her own little world and she does not deserve another opportunity. If she wants a title so badly I’m sure the Spotlight Title is more deserving for her talent.”
UK Reporter: “It sounds like you haven’t been happy with your current Five Lakes Title run.”
Jack Tillman: “I wanted to make this title a big deal because if you looked at past champions, their runs didn’t go as well. I remember when Burchill had the title and I mocked her for her reign as champion because she didn’t defend it and when she did defend it, it was against people that didn’t deserve it. Jew Blazer should had never held the title and his reign was nothing more than a blimp. So I walked in hoping that I could get some recognition with it because for the first time this title has had a professional wrestler defending it. But what does management feed me? Jew Blazer and Rain. Two 100 pound gimmick wrestlers who are not in my league. The same can be said about the tag team title run. What Tag Teams in NGW are really good enough to face Shields and myself? Management decides to put the Guardians up against us. Here you have the hottest stable in NGW history. An opportunity to make money and make history. But instead of putting decent opponents in front of us.....they give us Rains. They give Richards, Maverick. They give the Tag Titles to two nobodies in the Guardians. NGW can’t defeat us......so they’re making a joke out of us by feeding us nobodies.
So if Devlin Scott wants to play that game.....fine. I’ll go ahead and bring these titles to CWC events and give them the love that NGW can’t. I’ll bring these titles over to Japan where they’ll get recognition. I’ll toss these titles in the middle of a Mexican ring so that eyes will finally get a glance at it. If NGW isn’t going to make my Title reigns something special on its shows.....then I’ll just make my Title reigns outside of the company.”
