Standing outside the PalaLottomatica in Rome, Italy, we see Avery Miles III sporting an Italia jacket just like a tourist would normally do. It was not something we was using to make a statement by any means, he just always saw them in 80’s movies and thought that they were pretty cool. Standing out in the parking lot, Avery Miles III has found himself in a weird place as of late. Dropping a match to Travis Blake at Homecoming, he looked forward to try to get some aggression out; and what better choice than Jaxon Richards. The newest member of The Destroyers was in his crosshairs.
Avery: Rome has been a great place. A quasi-honeymoon as Serenity and I have made our way out sightseeing. We have also been preparing for the arrival of the little one. Hell, in a few weeks we will even know the sex. Things move quickly, and I am excited for that. But for now? I have a lot to concentrate on. In just over two weeks, I take on Konrad in Germany. Plus Battle for London and Lest We Forget aren’t too far down the road. There is a lot on the horizon. For now? Jaxon Richards.
The camera pulls in on Avery as he focuses on his opponent. The same man that beat Alex Jones two weeks ago. The same man that is the latest Destroyer in the group.
Avery: This is more than a match. This is about making Rebel Society known. For who we are. What we are going to do. Look I like The Guardians. Adrien is someone that I share the utmost respect for. But they are simply not getting it done. The way to put away someone like The Destroyers? You need to fight fire with fire. I am not afraid to do what needs to be done. I am not going to pull back when I cross a line with them. They do not play by the rules. And if we did, we are not on a level playing field. Rebel Society just wants what is theirs. Fair is fair. And for Jaxon? You just stepped into a heap of shit. Taking the spot of Coda, something that could be respected for earning things. You? You did not earn that win against Alex. Nah. You lucked out for the ‘W’. And with me? I will have my eyes peeled, and will be ready for some sort of jump back stage. I will be ready if things are going to pop off. I know to be ready. And once that bell rings, you are done for. You will see why I am someone not to be messed with. You will see that I am not a joke that some people take me for. And I plan on pushing you to the limits. I know who your sister is, and that does not scare me. Kayla does not scare me. Matt does not scare me. Jack… does not scare me.
He offers a bit of a wild grin at the camera, further cementing his lack of terror of The Destroyers.
Avery: I plan on taking down each of The Destroyers. Damon, Daisy, and Alex. We all plan on doing the same. Breaking up the band is our intention. And once that is done, we will go our own ways. We are not in this for the long haul, nor as we needed to do so. We have a goal in mind. And once the goal is achieved, we will do our own thing. Perhaps a couple of us may end up tagging. Daisy has the Spotlight Championship. And Damon? I know that 2018 is going to be a breakout year for him. Don’t get me wrong, I love him and Aurora both. She is an amazing talent. But people are sleeping on Damon. Just wait until the beast is fully awake. Damon is not to be fucked with. And I know that firsthand.
The camera starts to slowly pull back as the sun shines over the arena, offering an eye squinting look at the venue for Dissension this weekend.
Avery: My focus is on Jaxon Richards. Sunday, you will know just why I am a decorated former champion. I am not here to ring my own bells or to go over just why I am better… but I am. Until you signed with NGW no one knew who you were. As far as we were concerned, Kayla Richards is the one that matter. At least around these parts at least. You are simply riding the coattails of a champion and her namesake. You would not be in a group like The Destroyers if it weren’t for her, I am sure. And come Sunday, I will exposing that fact. You likely have talent. And did enough to get signed to this company. But to be in the spot that you are in? With all of the eyes on you? Nah. You don’t deserve that. People like Shields, Kayla, and Tillman earned their spots by actually doing something regardless if people liked them or not. You? You signed “Richards” on the contract and were handed a golden ticket. That ticket? It is no good here, Jaxon. You and me? We are going to show just who deserves the spotlight. Who deserves to be on the marquee. This is not jealousy. This is not envy. This is about taking what is rightfully mine. I’ve put more time into this company than you have. I’ve put in blood, sweat, tears. I’ve fought through the loss of someone I loved. I fought through some dark times in my life. I’ve fought through alienating my friends, and earning their respect back. But you? You were born into a family with talented people that you were able to piggyback after. Do not get used to your spot, Jaxon. It won’t last. And neither will you. 2018 is going to be a great year for A M 3. For me. And you? You are just going to be another name on the list to cross off….
