OFF CAMERA
Kaylee: "Great win that was last week, babe. I have this great feeling that you will be challenging for those titles soon!"
Josh: "You too. I feel like things are finally starting to click. Plus Ronnie won his money, though Harambe won the dumb write-in votes in a landslide."
Josh says from his position on the couch, laying his head on Kaylee's lap and looking up at her.
Kaylee: "I just wish I wasn't doing so terrible. And now I am in some random tag team match."
She sighs.
Kaylee: "But I am glad for you and Ronnie."
Josh: "Hey, I think our records look about the same. You'll get there. I know you will."
There is a pause, Ronnie had been pitching a dumb new catchphrase in the wake of this nightmarish election.
Josh: "Me, you, Ronnie... We're gonna make wrestling Rad again. America deserves a break from this insanity. Let's give it to them."
Kaylee: "Oh god. Rad again? Coming up with some Trump-like catchphrases? What a fucking moron that guy is. And president? Yikes."
She shakes her head.
Kaylee: "But the whole system sucks."
She shrugs.
Kaylee: "I just feel like I've been lost in the mix since Indy closed. Like I'm not anything special anymore."
Josh: "Well I know you're special. Anyone who doesn't see that is dumb."
Josh says. He thinks for a moment.
Josh: "What if we made a stable? Looked out for each other and worked together to elevate ourselves?"
Josh asks.
Kaylee: "Well, I wouldn't want to get in the way."
She plays with his hair.
Kaylee: "You and Ronnie... you are doing so well. I wouldn't wanna..."
Josh: "You wouldn't get in the way. Do you remember how much we KILLED IT as a trio recently? We would be a totally rad stable. Heck, maybe we could bring someone else in too."
Kaylee: "I would be down for that. We need a kick ass name though."
Josh: "Hmmm..."
Josh thinks, trying to come up with a name as he looks around the room.
Kaylee: "Are you sure Ronnie would be down for it. Having a girl on his team and all? I never talked to him after our three on three."
Josh: "Why would Ronnie be opposed to that?"
Josh asks, raising an eyebrow.
Kaylee: I don't want to steal his best friend away. Or ruin your team dynamic."
Kaylee undermines herself. Her confidence has been waning in RW.
Kaylee: "I just... I don't want to be a wedge."
She runs his hair more.
Josh: "Lots of people are able to have best friends and girlfriends, Kaylee. Ronnie doesn't dislike your or resent you or anything. Heck, he's busy with his movies a lot. We hang out and train all the time still but we both have our own separate lives. Mine just happens to include the best girlfriend ever." Josh says, leaning into her touch.
Kaylee: "Always trying to get in my panties. I know your game, Joshua Goldstein."
She chuckles.
Kaylee: "Okay. If you are sure he is down for it, let's do it. But I can't wear any cape. And purple is still my color."
She taps his nose.
Josh: "I mean... the best girlfriend ever even if she locked me out of the apartment during game 7 for admitting I'm a Cubs fan." Josh says with a smirk.
Josh: "So no cape? Even if it's purple and has a big 'KK' logo on it? Not even for a special occasion?"
Josh asks. He totally already made a cape, just while he was messing around.
Kaylee: "Maybe for a Pay per view."

“It seems like Devlin Scott is playing darts with his roster. One week I am teaming with Alicia Hixx and the next week I am teaming with Courtney Leinart. Now don’t get me wrong, Courtney is a much better competitor than Alicia. But this is my third different tag team pairing. One of them was with Josh and Ronnie, and I was happy with that one; but come on? And we are facing two of the biggest egos in the company; the Jersey Princess and the so-called “Bad Girl”?”
Kaylee slides on a leather jacket and fixed up her hair.
“I just hope that I can finally hit a stride and get my career back on the tracks. I am as up and down as a rollercoaster, but I know better than to let that stop me. I’ve been in talks with Josh and Ronnie at forming a little team of our own. But it is on me to get things going. I cannot speak for Courtney, but there is zero chance that some newcomer and a barely successful guidette. She may have gotten the better of me last time, but there is no way in hell that Giovanna is going to steal another one. So… Mikaylah… Giovanna… you both better be on notice because Courtney and I will be walking away with this one.”
With that, she walks off camera.
