She smiles as the kiss breaks, as she moans.
"Happy Birthday baby"
He kisses her back.
"Thank you, angel."
Avery smiles at her. She heard his stomach grumble. She lightly laughs.
"Someone is hungry"
He nods.
"Mmhmm. I don't feel like cooking."
"Well I could cook something..."
"Really? What?"
He looks at her.
"Yeah... grilled cheese and soup"
She laughs softly.
"Or you can take me out."
He laughs.
"Yeah or we can stay in, and not get dressed, and eat dinner. I was kidding about the food."
"How about you surprise me with whatever, just make it snappy. I am starving!"
"Sure, be glad to"
She laughs as she gets up. She heads into the kitchen, as she opens the fridge. She yells out to him.
"No coming in here"
"Fine. I am in here."
He laughs while saying it. He grabs the remote and puts on some offseason MLB Hot Stove. She was still busy, as she shuts the fridge. She smiles, as what he didnt know was his mom had sent over some food for them, as she goes to warm it up. She lightly laughs, as it was his favorite. Avery plays on his phone, just hearing her in the kitchen. She was almost done warming it up, as she grabs the plates and silverware to set the table. He looks back.
"You need help?"
"Nope, you stay put, I got it all under control."
"Okay..."
He continues to watch TV. She laughs lightly, as she was almost done. He still watches TV. She soon starts to plate the food
"Something smells good."
"Come and get it"
She puts the plates on the table. He heads towards the dining room.
"Babe! This smells amazing."
"Yeah, sit and eat"
She smiles as she goes to sit. He sits down.
"Lasanga?"
"Yeah...."
She blushes.
"Wait... you can't cook lasagna in like 20 minutes. Did my mom help you?"
He smiles.
"I.. well... okay it was cooked already and I warmed it up"
She blushes.
"Babe. Thanks so much! This... is great!"
"Really?"
"Yes. Thank you. I know you are afraid to cook. But this is a great idea. And I am sure my mom did not mind."
"No she didn't, we did it while you were at the gym"
"well thank you so much!"
He takes a big bite. She smiles watching him as she goes to eat
"So good!"
He has a big smile.
"I am glad you like it baby"
"Thank you so much."
They continue to eat their dinner. She finishes, as she goes to put her plate in the sink. He finishes his and even gets seconds. Afterwards, he is full as he takes his plate into the kitchen. She laughs.
"All done piggy?"
"Well... dessert?"
He looks greedy at her.
"Dessert... ummm..... ummm"
She looks around
"It's okay babe. I got vanilla ice cream in the freezer. I hid it from you."
He smiles.
"Hiding stuff.... how rude"
"You would have ate it all! You ate all of my mint and all of my neopolican!"
"Well... true... but but but Princess...."
He laughs.
"Go sit down on the couch. I will grab two spoons."
He kisses her cheek and pats her on her butt as he grabs the ice cream and two spoons.
"Alright, I will"
She laughs as she heads out to the couch. He returns with the ice cream, two bowls, and two spoons. She smiles as sees him. He slides on the couch next to her and hands her a bowl and a spoon. She takes it as she looks at the bowl, and then at the ice cream. he hands her toe carton and then helps to start scooping it out for her. She watches, as she smirks.
"More"
He scoops more and smiles at her. She smirks.
"More"
he shakes his head and laughs, scooping more.
"You are lucky I love you."
"I love you too, so does Peanut"
He smiles.
"Speaking of... Feb 13th is our gender reveal appointment. A day before..."
"Before our first Valentine's Day... and 5 days before my birthday...."
"Perfect. We should figure out some names..."
"Yeah... any ideas?"
"Avery IV if a boy...."
He smiles.
"Of course, that is a given..... if its a girl?"
"Journey."
"I like that, kind of like we both been on a journey to each other and to our Peanut"
"Good."
He smiles.
"And it is whimsical like her mama."
"Yes it is"
She laughs as she goes to eat her ice cream.
"Its least not Damien like Melina did"
He laughs, eating some.
"The exact opposite."
He laughs.
"Yeah, I'm glad we could come up with some good names"
"I am happy either way."
He takes another bite.
"I know, I just can't wait"
"I love you Serenity."
