The scene opens up inside of RC and Daisy's home, as they are getting things packed up for first Seattle, then Spain. Their suitcases were on their bed, while Kathleen was playing in the middle of the bed. Daisy was busy putting some clothes into the suitcase, as she looks towards the door to see her husband.
Daisy: You sure we will have enough packed?
RC shrugs.
RC: Not sure. Only times I've ever been outside the country are a trip to the Bahamas when I was a kid and the times I visited the places in my head.
Daisy laughs.
Daisy: The trip last year, even if was more Japan. That was easier, as we didn't have Princess to pack for yet…
RC: Very true. Best is we got enough to last about two weeks before we need to resupply.
Daisy: That works, and if we need more, when you come back to the states, you can always get it. That, or have your Dad ship it to us. That could work too.
Daisy looks towards Kathleen as she smiles.
Daisy: Only six months old, and getting to see other countries.
RC: Pretty sure when I was six months old I was lucky to go out of the city.
Daisy: I wouldn't know.... but least our Princess will have a better life than I did.
RC stops packing for a moment to take Daisy into his arms.
RC: That's because we are going to be there for her because we love her.
Daisy: You are right.
She puts down the clothes in her hands, as she moves closer to them. She places a hand on RC's shoulder, and one on Kathleen's cheek.
Daisy: Lot more than what I had till Lilly, and I arrived at Miss Rose's home.
RC: And the sky is still the limit. Hey, you're the freakin' Spotlight champion so you get to live a little.
Daisy: I know, just imagine us going through customs with the title now.
She was thinking about that, as she looks at Kathleen.
Daisy: I'm just glad I will have Serenity, and Avery to help me while you are gone.
RC: Ah, the joys of working for two companies. They'll never tour in the same place.
She shakes her head no.
Daisy: No they won't. It's okay, means more of the world to see, even if means some time away from each other. Just be careful.
RC: There's that word again.
Daisy: What word?
She looks at him.
RC: Careful.
Daisy: Given who you are in the company of, how your last match ended... but alright, I won't use it again. I just don't want anything to happen considering we do have Princess.
RC: I'll be fine. Daddy's always gonna come back to the Chaos Wife and the Chaos Princess.
Daisy looks at him, as she nods her head.
Daisy: You better. More so it's kind of needed for your other company too. Plus I think Princess will miss having Daddy around all the time.
RC looks over at Kathleen and plops down beside her.
RC: What say you, Princess? Would you miss Daddy if you only had Mommy around?
Kathleen looks at him, before looking at Daisy. She looks back at RC.
Kathleen: Dada
RC blinks and looks at Daisy.
RC: Whoa I'm really losing it now. I swear she just-
Daisy was looking at Kathleen, as she nods her head.
Daisy: If you are.... then I am too. She did…
RC's jaw drops as he looks at Kathleen again. Kathleen looks at him
Kathleen: Dada.
RC, and Daisy both smile, as they start kissing Kathleen, as the scene fades out.
I did it, I won my first singles title. Sure people could say I only did it because of my husband, but really not my fault Meathead got distracted. RC was only supporting me, something a good husband does. Still though, here I am the new Spotlight Champion. It is a pretty amazing feeling. All that hard work in the gym training has paid off. Now that I have it, I can work on beating Meatheads record, and prove that I am someone in NGW to watch out for. It’s time to prove that you can’t keep overlooking people, it’s time for NGW to see that you can’t hold everyone back.
Still, though, Rebel Society might be all about the overlooked, but you know one person who is not overlooked, who is right where he belongs, on the bottom. The very person I am set to defend my title against. John Blade. Really this dude, of all people to defend it against, I am stuck defending against him. Is this some kind of joke? Really, couldn’t if of been anyone else? Hell, I would have gladly given Meathead his rematch, over defending against John Blade. I guess this is just part of having to defend pretty much almost every show, stuck defending it against ones who shouldn’t get the chance.
It’s alright, I will take this match, I will defend my title successfully, and show why I am the champion. What’s the worst John can do? Hell, I am honestly shocked he even realizes he has a shot at the title. Really, I am surprised he even remembered he had won the title in the first place. Still though, of all the people I am stuck facing, it is John Blade. The person with all the false things said about him, the person who seems to have the same excuse every two weeks when clearly it’s because he is not as good in the ring as he thinks he is.
Maybe, just maybe though once I beat him, the management will realize that I deserve to not be overlooked as a champion, and get to face better people, and for sure not Anton Chase either, he is almost as bad as John Blade. Him, with his bullshit lies, when he knows jackshit. Either way, no matter who I defend my title against, I will come out winning, and nobody will take this time from me.
