** Brief Character Bio - Born to an English mother and a Jamaican father, sporting prowess was in the Sanchez genes. His Father, Chuck Sanchez, was a professional soccer player in England, and later turned to wrestling once his playing career came to a close. He went on to have moderate success in Puerto Rico and on the West Coast of America as a reliable midcarder and tag team wrestler. His defining moment, however, came in the spring of 1999, when he fought for, and won, the Caribbean Heavyweight Championship, only to lose the belt forty-five minutes later in a controversial rematch. His reign was never recognised by the organisation, nor did it ever enter the history books. Now Jefferson is forging his own path in the sport, following his Father's footsteps into the squared circle. After training at the Fairfax Wrestling Academy he signed a six month contract with an independent Texas company. The first few. months were notably difficult for the young grappler - miles away from home, he was subjugated to racist abuse both backstage and from the fans. However as time went on he began to win over the partisan crowd, and even the respect of the locker room. By the end of his contract he was offered much larger sums of money and a shot at the title to stay with the company, but instead opted for Puerto Rico, and later Mexico where he took six months away from competitive action to train with the infamous Esteban Santos. Esteban, an American of Mexican descent, took the young Levi into his home and under his wing free of charge. It was here that he met the young Marcella Santos, Esteban's daughter, who later became his fiancé. After half a year in student exile he went onto gain relative notoriety as a masked luchador. The following year he won the annual King of the Cruiserweights tournament, showcasing some of the best wrestlers in North America. Brief spells in HEW, NXW, Europe and Japan made up the intervening years, before an opportunity came calling to join Redemption Wrestling.
