"Keep them covered. Don't you dare touch the blindfolds" Johnny says to Maricela Reyes and Danielle Anderson as he leads them to the door of his luxury apartment. They both were wearing makeshift blindfolds created from strips of an old t-shirt Johnny had in his bag.
The L.A. Loft known as 'Casa De Johnny' was where Johnny had been spending most of his time since he began dating Danni (and eventually Mari as well). Johnny was a Washington DC native at heart but he'd do anything to keep close to his girls.
"Alright. We're in. Blindfolds stay on, though!" Johnny insists.
Between the ladies, Mari is actually more curious about the surprise their boyfriend has in store for them. Of course, she's trying to keep a positive mind.
The majority of Christmas Eve was emotionally trying for all three of them, especially for Danni who was still a little less than cheerful. An anonymous source caught Mari and Johnny kissing in public and Cass Baumer's report was shaped to seem like he was cheating on Danni. Their polyamorous relationship was meant to be a secret, but the moment it was exploited for the world to know, Danni's parents caught word of it.
Like her younger brother Jesse, Danni was disowned by their parents for her sexuality and her relationship... on Christmas Eve of all days. It shook the young woman to her core, but she was trying to keep her head up. Unable to see anything with the blindfold on, Danni's hand slightly clutched Mari's as they both walk inside of Johnny's home. "Um..."
"Hey." Mari gently squeezes her hand and offers her a blind smile. "We're home now. No more sadness. Besides, I'm curious as to what Johnny has in store for us."
"I-I know. I'm sorry." Danni slightly frowns before she tries her best to put a smile on her face.
"No bad vibes in here, Danni. We're home. And Mari and I are gonna love the shit out of you until you feel better, understood?" Johnny says. She feels a kiss pressed to her forehead.
"So uh... Mari. Do you remember how you had been getting on to me about the guest bedroom and the office that I've just been using for storage?" Johnny asks.
Those awful rooms...full of boxes of Johnny Maverick BWF merchandise that went unsold when the company folded before he was able to make his return.
Upon hearing his sweet message followed by the kiss on her forehead, Danni blushes and squirms a little. Those are her favorite kisses. They're so loving and affectionate. "U-understood."
Mari's curiosity piques when Johnny mentions the other rooms. She nods and chuckles. "I've insisted on cleaning them up for you, but you're too stubborn." She gives Danni's hand another gentle squeeze and she tilts her head. "Porque?"
Johnny leads Mari to the guest bedroom and opens the door.
"Okay..." Johnny says. He removes the blindfold from Mari and Danni and they see that the room was now free of all the garbage. Inside now was a large professional sewing machine as well as all sorts of fabric and thread as well as a few naked modeling dummies. In the corner was a large 3D printer setup.
"So I uh...figured this would be good for both fashion design and cosplay. I'm told the 3D printer setup is easy to understand and... honesty I just tried to get the most expensive versions of what I thought you would like because I have no clue what I'm doing." Johnny says.
The moment their blindfolds are removed, Danni and Mari gaze upon the new concept and design of the guest bedroom.
Danni's sparkly blue eyes widen immediately. Her breath is caught in her throat, her body nearly still in absolute shock and awe. Her soft pink lips part, but she still can't say a word. "...!"
"Dios mio." Mari seems to speak for the both of them, her brown eyes widened in amazement. She reaches into her purse and retrieves her glasses, unfolding them and placing them on. Still holding Danni's hand, she walks into the room with her and looks around. "Oh my God... How? When?" She turns back towards Johnny, looking for answers.
Curiously, Danni slips her hand away from Mari's only to take a closer look at the large sewing machine and the large 3D printer. "I-I know how to use this. It's super easy. Ohmygoodness."
"I've been working on it while you guys aren't here. You guys never go in here so I mean...it was pretty easy." Johnny says, smiling as he watches the two of them inspect everything. He had really gone all out.
"Mari... I think maybe you should go check out the office." Johnny says.
Mari releases a half-stunned chuckle, an awkward smile on her face. "No wonder you'd never let me clean the rooms. Tricky."
Danni makes her way over to the closet and slides open one of the doors. She finds a long table full of sewing materials, fabrics of all kinds, and accessories to complete any design possible. Tears begin to well up in her eyes, but not tears of sadness. Joy. Pure joy. "Oh my..."
Mari takes note of Johnny's words and her curiosity begins to soar. While Danni's taken aback by the fashion and cosplay concepts, Mari makes her way out of the guest bedroom and stands in front of the office door. She reaches out with her right hand and turns the doorknob, opening the door and slowly giving way...
There was an easel and canvas already set up in the room with several more canvases of varying sizes leaning against the wall. There were a variety of paints, brushes, and everything under the sun an artist could want. Johnny had been asking her all sorts of questions about what kind of materials she used and her preferences and she just assumed he was curious about her art. He was, but he certainly had an ulterior motive.
"I got all sorts of paint and...apparently edible body paint is a thing? I got some of that too. A lot. I actually got a lot of it." Johnny says as Mari looks around.
"Merry Christmas you two... also this is my way of asking you guys to move in with me." Johnny admits.
It's like an artistic paradise. Mari can't believe her eyes, a soft shimmer beyond her glasses as she looks around in pure awe. All the questions Johnny asked her, they were part of the plan to set this up. The reality that he's even purchased Prismacolor products, one of the most expensive art supplies in the field, takes her breath away.
Danni finally enters the office after some alone time in the guest bedroom. Her eyes light up, this time able to speak when Mari is speechless. "Ohmygoodness, this is beautiful!" She picks up on Johnny's words and tilts her head when he brings up edible body paint. She didn't know that was a thing.
His last announcement takes both ladies by surprise. Danni and Mari turn towards Johnny, the tears of joy spilling down Danni's face. For the first time since the exploitation, she's finally able to bring her happiness back. "Yes. Yesyesyesyesyes, we'll move in with you!"
It practically answers for the both of them. Mari can't help but let her own tears well up in her eyes. "Si. We'd love to move in with you, Johnny." Taking Danni's hand once more, the two of them move towards their boyfriend together and they plant a kiss on each side of his face. Their arms tightly embrace him as well as each other, squishing him in between them.
Danni and Mari had brought so much happiness to Johnny and had tolerated so many of his quirks... he knew he had to do something very special for the both of them.
"Johnny do good?" Johnny asks the both of them as they make him the meat of a Johnny Sandwich.
The way he asks that makes Danni giggle. "Yes, Johnny do good." She answers in kind and rises up on her black platform heels. He and Mari are so tall and she's so tiny compared to them.
Mari smiles, slightly moves herself in front of and around Johnny to kiss Danni's lips sweetly. The petite English girl blushes. "She's so cute, isn't she, Johnny? We should love her right now."
Hearing that Johnny do good finally allows Johnny to relax.
"Good. And yes. It is time for us to do the love to Danni. For as long as it takes." Johnny says to Mari before he also places a kiss to Danni's lips. Then to Mari's. Then Danni's again.
"Sorry. Danni gets two because of the sad being done to her. I don't make the rules." Johnny says to Mari.

A soft red hue color touches her cheeks and Mari can't help but laugh. "I completely understand." Mari smiles before she leans in and steals a kiss from Danni. Danni finds herself squealing a little as both of her significant others suddenly turn and embrace her lovingly. In between a beautiful Mexican and a sexy man of part-Irish descent. "You two complete me." She speaks quietly yet honestly. "Johnny, Mari, I love you."
"We love you too, muñeca." That's 'doll' in Spanish. Mari gives her longtime best friend a gentle squeeze.
"I love you, too. Both of you." Johnny says.
"So uhm... how about we put a tarp over the bed and the floor and find out how 'edible body paint' works?" Johnny suggests, raising an eyebrow. Danni's curiosity rises to the surface and she tilts her head. Mari smiles and nods. "We can do that. I'm sure Danni would love to be our 'art project' tonight."
"I-I would!" Danni hops with excitement, the shade of her blush brightening up.
"Right. Mari, get the paint. I have the Danni." Johnny says. He picks Danni up over his shoulder and runs to the bedroom with her as she squeals with joy.
