(The scene opens up and were inside of a hotel room, one of many that we see. As we pan around we see Anton Chase sitting on a greenish colour sofa. Anton who is dressed in casual street wear, blue jeans, a self-merchandise t-shirt.)
"I hope you all had a very nice christmas because I did. I had an amazing christmas but most of all I made some new year resolutions. As you all saw I had a terrible 2017, in fact 2017 was one of the worst in my career. But now I can move past it and move forward. Forward into 2018 on a high and back to winning ways."
(Anton adjusts his long hair from his eyes)
"And my first match in 2018 is with Martin Karloff or as he simple calls himself "The Phantom" but I call him some guy is paint. And Martin Karloff I know that some people are calling this a dream match, and maybe some-way it is. But in other ways it's not going to be that simple."
(Anton pauses)
"You see last year as I've said was one of the worst years in my career and in my personal life. Some secrets were revealed about my past that came to light, I lost a very close friend who was also in the business, John Pariah. And not to mention my continued loss streak. It was a heavy and stressful 2017 for me and I came through it. I saw the hard-ship and I overcome like I always do. And now 2018 belongs to me. I'm getting it all back, my spot on the card, respect and championships."
(Anton pauses)
"And all that starts with you Martin me getting every I deserve starts with me beating you and showing everyone why this isn't going to be a dream match, but more like you are being fed like lambs to the slaughter. And I say that with every true word in me that this match is going to be me annihilating you."
(Anton smirks)
"I am physically and mentally back to my best and when I am just that then I can beat anyone anytime and anywhere. Which is unfortunate for you and any hopes you had for 2018. Any hopes and dreams you had I am going to crush before they even got started. Believe what I say Martin because if you walk into this match not believing them, it will only be worse for you."
(Anton pauses)
"And don't think that just because you attacked Trixie that I will be that easy too. I was saying from day one, since Trixie arrived in Redemption Wrestling I knew that she was having special treatment I've seen it many times in my career, but nobody listened. People should always listen to me because even though I'm an asshole, I'm an honest asshole. And Martin I'm being completely honest with you right now, you have zero chance against me."
(Anton smirks)
"2018 is a fresh new year and more importantly 2018 will be the year of Anton Chase."
(Scene ends)
