Hey everyone, it's Wasabi live blogging straight from the heart of San Francisco where I just recently just wrapped up filming an episode of Dumbass for NTV. Oh, did I mention that this week's live blog is being sponsored by Torchy's Tacos? Torchy's Tacos - Damn Good Tacos!
Also, you heard it here first, taco junkies and Wasabi fanatics! Add some heat to your holiday shopping: Starting now and ending December 31st, 2017, purchase a $25 Torchy’s Tacos Gift Card, and receive a FREE bottle of their Diablo Hot Sauce. Hell yes! It's deliciouso!
So, let's talk about West Coast Genesis for a bit. I have stated for weeks now that I am focusing myself on that Long Beach Championship and the South Bay Championship, both titles are more than worthy of their champions and they both make an excellent transition for former champions to focus in on that ultimate prize, the West Coast Championship.
But the Long Beach Championship is one that has been held by the upstart Shawn Young, a guy who has the determination and attitude to back up his words in the ring. I've seen it happen just like everyone else has and I can tell you for a fact that he is going to be one hell of a guy to beat for the gold, especially since he is the first champion in that division.
The South Bay Championship is a beast of another species. It was held by former champions Ruby Lance and Danni LeBlanc and Ruby is now an NGW Starlet. Two fierce competitors who managed to keep their gold for a very long time before moving on to greener pastures. Ruby managed to maintain her red fingernails gripped around that title for almost 4 months, which is quite an accomplishment for an inaugural champion and she lost it to one hell of a contender in Danni LeBlanc They are both great champions and Danni LeBlanc is gonna be tough as hell to knock over.
What I'm trying to get at is this: You will not be able to find anyone in NGW or WCG who is as hungry for a championship than I am. I have struggled to find my way in the world of professional wrestling and that's why I am glad that West Coast Genesis gave me the opportunity to make an impact and become a true wrestler, not just some indie moron. So to both of you, I wish you both the best of luck with your upcoming defenses, because I'm sure that you will both give it every thing you have.
But if you want to see an example of what would happen to you both if you see me in the ring across from you, merely take a look at this week's Unscripted where you'll see me take on the giant pirate Blackbeard. You'll see what a scrawny mohawked cruiserweight can do against a brawling beast like Blackbeard. Now it's time for me to shut this laptop and go train for my match. Au revoir friends!
