The scene opens up on Maria Valadez, as she is seen relaxing on the couch in Mason Moore’s home, the place she has been spending most of her time at with him since they became an official couple. She was excited as she was having her debut match coming up, even if it was a battle royal. She knew what was ahead of her, that she needed to do well, and prove she belonged. She wanted to show she was more than just Mason Moore’s sexy girlfriend. She slightly smiles, as she looks up.
Hello everyone, as some know me, I am Maria, the girlfriend to Mason Moore. Still though, I’m not wanting to be known as just that. I want to be known for being myself, for proving that I can wrestle. I get that chance in this battle royal that I am to be part of. Do I know they will be coming after me? Yeah I know it, and really let them. I know they think if they can beat me, it will get them closer to Mason. Really that is a joke, as it won’t get them closer to Mason. Come on, really think about it, be smart. How is beating someone who is ranked last, in their first match really going to get you closer to Mason. It’s not going to. Hell from what I heard, that would be almost as bad as thinking you will move up for beating Alicia Hixx, or John Blade.
She lightly laughs, as she had heard of the stories for sure.
Really I could count those two as just one person, would almost think they were if you didn’t see them both with your own eyes. Really they both say the same thing, not even worth spending much time on even. I mean they already think they will win, and if not blame it on people not wanting them to, like picking it. I guess they are delusional people. Sad really, but hey least gives some of us perfect people to face, and just use them to hone our skills.
Maria would lightly shrug her shoulders. She looks down for a few minutes, before looking back up.

I mean come on, Grayson came in put out a challenge more, or less, just to fail. You look on twitter, and you really don’t see much of anything from him, except just talk that means jackshit. Grayson how will it feel when you are going up against this beauty, someone who is ten times better than you? I bet you won’t like it, and will just be too stunned by my beauty really. I would watch it though, you make one wrong move with me, and you will have to deal with Mason Moore. Yet you’re not as much of a threat as Anton is. In anything you are just barely above Blade, and Hixx.
Maria knew she could take Grayson out, it didn’t matter where he trained, what he has done in his short career already. She was looking to show she was more than Mason’s girlfriend.
Speaking of Anton…. Really Anton you have lost to Mason how many times? At least twice in singles. Do you really think he has not filled me in on how you are in the ring? Do you really think he has not told me what to do to beat you? Are you really that stupid Anton to think he hasn’t given me some pointers?
She pauses for a minute, as she starts to laugh.
Wait, nevermind from what I have heard you are that stupid. Hell you actually threatened me. Really dude, is that your go to thing? To threaten people? Try to make yourself look like some big, bad, dangerous jackass who can take someone out with an injure. Dude it just makes you look fucking pathetic. Don’t you realize if you follow through with your words, that is just going to ruin your career? Worse yet, if you really did injure me, more so after threatening it, you would have Mason coming after you, and he would put you in the hospital.
She hears a door open in the house, as she smiles, while pausing. She waits a few minutes, before she goes back to talking.
Really Anton you talk about you may need to reevaluate your position in NGW, acting like you may leave. Dude you are where you are at in NGW, because you belong there. You aren’t as great in your head as you think you are. Heard you bragging about being the first ever Genesis Champion like it’s something special. Dude John Blade was the first Five Lakes Champion, that there shows anyone can win anything. You may of held it as long as you did, but it’s not even the longest title reign even. You are bragging over something from a year ago even, holding onto it, when you could've done way more since then. Really Anton, you are acting like everyone is out to get you, when it is your own fault you are failing. It is you losing the matches, not anyone else. You’re stuck facing new people, Blade, and Hixx, because that is where you belong. You show it over, and over, and over.
She shakes her head, as she looks up to see Mason standing in the doorway. She smiles at him.
Really Anton, think what you want, say what you want, but it won’t make any difference. You are, and will always just be a failure, who is stuck facing people more your level, while the ones who are above your level move on, and do great things.
Before she says anything more, Mason steps inside, as he walks over towards the couch.
