To say that Caroline O'Hara Burchill wasn't in a good place would be a complete understatement.
The woman hailing from Australia sought to forge a brand new path of dominance during her debut showing for Redemption Wrestling. After everything that happened to her, Caroline really wanted to make a good first impression. She was close to cementing herself as a viable competitor that night, but all it took was for Redmond to take her down with her, and all the momentum that she had going for her slipped away from her. Of course, the unexpected loss never sat well with her and it has since left a bitter taste in her mouth that she could never get rid of.
It was her night to shine. That night was going to be her crowning moment and she was poised to put the entire competition on notice.
So, with every training session that she had leading up to the next Sunday Night Glory event, she moved with much more aggression and rage. All of the misfortune and series of unfortunate events that happened to her for the past month were now accumulating this frustration that was building up and she couldn't stand it anymore. Training was the only way she could release all of the tension, because if she didn't find a way to keep it all under control, then she would have practically exploded into a fit of rage. Then again, Caroline wasn't known for being particularly sane either. Whenever things didn't go her way, she would snap. It was almost like she was a child having a tantrum.
Still, Caroline never cared about the negative connotations that were associated with her behavior. It was just the way and honestly? She just didn't give a damn.
So, as she continued to strike the punching bag that was in front of her with every bit of viciousness that she contained, she couldn't help but to think about her next match. She was going to be teaming with Skye Dawkins against Aurora Knight and Damon Graves. Caroline never liked teaming with other people. She preferred to work by herself and when she actually teamed up with someone one time, well... let's just say it didn't turn out so good and she was now embroiled in a feud with her former partner.
But hey. If we want to look at this from an optimistic point of view, Graves and Knight were the tag team to watch in Redemption Wrestling. A victory over two people who were on a roll would definitely help raise Caroline's stock in front of everyone, and after a disappointing loss at the last event, a win here was definitely much needed.
And Caroline was going to stop at nothing to get that.
"A tag team match. I never thought that I would be in this type of match ever again."
"If I'm being honest here for a moment, I generally don't play well with other people. I tend to focus on myself a lot, though the concept of teamwork isn't completely foreign to me either. I was paired up with someone not too long ago, and for a brief moment we had some success. However, it never worked out in the end. I could go into further details but I've been really trying to get that bitch out of my mind for a while now, so I think not bringing her up would be the best course of action."
"But you know what? A match is a match and even though Skye and I may not see eye to eye after what happened at the last event, I'd like to think that the two of us share the same idea of winning. Sure, you all can call me a cocky bitch and get at me for my ego or whatever, but I'm just fully confident in my abilities as a wrestler. I'm not shy about voicing that to the world, and I honestly don't give a fuck if any of you think differently. Besides, I don't think doubting my abilities is even a smart choice to make. It'll just set you up for failure, and honestly, I revel in the misfortune of others. It makes the victory for me much more delectable."
"Now, people are automatically going to discount Skye and I because we're facing Rebel Ink - a tag team that has been dominating Redemption Wrestling from what I've gathered. I can only imagine that those two are probably assuming that this is going to be an easy win all because Skye and I have our differences. However, while I can't speak on Skye's behalf, I sure as hell have what it takes to stand my ground against the two of you. Laugh all you want, but when I have either one of you trapped and you're squirming helplessly as I drain every bit of energy from you, then we'll see who's laughing last. It hasn't been the first time people have told me that I need to check at me, and the two of you certainly won't be the last people that I beat who thought I was nothing more but a woman who was getting ahead of myself here."
"Bring the criticism. Talk shit. Try as you might to devalue me, but if you aren't careful enough come Sunday night, then the two of you will come off as nothing more but a pair of idiots who thought that they had everything in control. Then, when I make you two look like my own personal bitches, you'll come to the harsh realization that little ol' Caroline has been competition all along."
"And I'll be right there, laughing right in your motherfucking faces."
