Mason Moore's House, Las Vegas Nevada
Mason Moore sat on the workout bench in his home gym, staring up at the TV. The small Samsung logo bounced around the screen as it awaited the next DVD. He looked down at the stack of them trying to decide which one he wanted to watch for the fifth time. Jazmyn Rain, Jack Tillman, Alex Jones, Matt Shields, Kayla Richards, Avery Miles, Daisy Rose, Jessica Nitoh, Jew Blazer, Coda, Adrien Cochrane? All eleven of his known opponents were represented in the pile of DVD's. Hours upon hours of footage of each of them that he had gone over has he worked his mind and his muscles. He took a deep breath, grabbed the remote and turned the TV off. He sat there in silence for a few seconds, then got up and opened the window. The cold air rushed in, surprising him a bit as he stood there in a simple pair of black workout pants and no shirt. He quickly closed the window, turned a small lamp towards the weight bench and sat back down as he took his phone out. He set it up to record, made sure the light was good, and then hit the button.
"NGW Presents Warfare. This is a big deal. Sixteen wrestlers, sixteen of the best wrestlers that NGW has to offer. Every single champion in NGW is in this match. Not just that though, three of the top seven contenders for the Heavyweight title are in this match. You have three of the top contenders for the Five Lakes title as well. The top two contenders for my Spotlight title are in this match. Three of the top contenders for the Young Lions title as well, and the two top teams going after the tag team titles. This match is packed with star power and talent. Everyone in this match has a reason to fight. Whether it's title opportunities, faction pride, or the realization of a personal crusade, there is something to win for every person in this match. So... why are The Midnight Horsemen going to win this? That's the question to ask of course. The Destroyers and The Guardians are seemingly the favorites in this match. They've both been around longer, people will say they have their full teams. Team AA, they're the dark horses in this one. They have an unknown fourth member that could shake up everything."
Mason stops for a second and looks at the pile of DVD's, then to a note beside it with a few names scribbled down.

"The consensus would seem to say that The Midnight Horsemen are not going to win this match. Funny thing is, the fans seem to have the exact opposite opinion. Yesterday, The Horsemen had just over fifty percent of the total vote. Yesterday, we had more of the vote percentage than The Guardians, The Destroyers, and Team AA, COMBINED. Now, the numbers have shifted a little bit, but we still hold over forty percent of the vote. That means, the other three teams, would only have half of what we have if you spread it out evenly. Now, I know that fan votes don't decide who wins and who loses. What happens between the ropes decides that. I think we have a big advantage there as well. Between myself, Scotty, Billy, and Ruby, I think we've been in the ring with every other person in this match. I know just for me, I've faced three of the four Destroyers, Avery Miles and Daisy Rose. That right there is almost half of our opponents. So, we know what they're bringing in to that ring. We know how to plan for them. We know the dirty tricks that The Destroyers will try."
Mason shakes his head and rolls his eyes slightly as he thinks about their dirty tactics and tricks.
"It's more than familiarity that has me confident though. There's another big reason why I think we will win. Why I think I will win. I am better than I have ever been, and that is because of The Midnight Horsemen. When I arrived in this company, there was a little bit of hype. I was this great big hulking mass of muscle and expected to do great things. Then, I lost my very first match with the company. After that, I bounced back and got a little bit of momentum going, then I lost my first title opportunity. I had this pattern of doing good, and then suffering a big loss. I had this incredible feud with Coda which lead to a match that was put up as a match of the year candidate for the mid year awards, and could be there once again for the year end awards. Unfortunately, I followed that up with failed attempts to capture the then Genesis title. It was always two steps forward and one step back for me."
Mason stops for a few seconds and looks up at the framed Redemption Wrestling Genesis Championship.
"Things started to really change for me, when I got invited to join The Midnight Horsemen. This was a group full of champions and contenders. This was a group that had multiple champions across multiple companies, and they were offering a spot to a guy who at that point, had only failed in title matches. I jumped at the opportunity. I went all in with it, started having merchandise made, branding anything I could with our name and logo. More than that though, I stepped up my game. I stepped it up in the gym. I stepped it up in training. I stepped it up in the ring. I set out to prove that I deserved my spot within the Midnight Horsemen. All of that has led to where I am right now. I am in the best shape I have ever been in. I am on a six match win streak, and I am the reigning Spotlight champion. Maybe that happens regardless of being invited to join the Horsemen, I don't know. What I do know is that that invitation pushed me just that little bit extra. The day I became a Midnight Horsemen, I said I would not let this group down. So far, I think I've done a damn good job of keeping that promise. Come Warfare, I fulfill that promise, and The Midnight Horsemen show everyone why we are the most dominant group in all of professional wrestling."
Mason looks straight ahead at the camera as he stands and flexes, showing off the gold Midnight Horsemen logo on his workout pants as the scene slowly fades.
