The morning of Thanksgiving, Avery and Serenity wake up. He rolls over and slowly wakes her up.
"Good morning."
She starts waking up, as she looks at him, blinking a little bit. She smiles wide.
"Morning sexy"
"Happy Thanksgiving."
He kisses her.
She looks at him as the kiss breaks.
"Mmm Happy Thanksgiving.... what time do we need be at your parents?"
"Noon or so. They love to start early."
The clock read nine.
"Mmm so still few hours, great"
She rolls over again
She feels his hand on her hip.
"Babe. We should get up."
"Mm but but but"
He leans and kisses her shoulder blade.
"Well I am up. I will be downstairs making cinnamon rolls and coffee."
With that Avery got out of bed, threw a shirt and pants on, and headed downstairs into the kitchen to get some breakfast going.
She moans softly, as she smirks, getting out of bed. She starts to head out of the room, not even bothering to put anything on but a shirt. She heads downstairs.
Avery is already working up some craziness as cinnamon rolls were in the oven, a pot of coffee was brewing, the Macy's Day Parade was on the TV.
"Already hard at work... good less for me to burn."
Serenity laughs, as she goes over to the table, taking a seat, as she looks up at the tv to see the parade.
"I love the Parade. This is the official start to the holiday season for me, you know? Christmas music. Parades. Even though our decorations have been up for awhile now. And I am so excited to spend it with you."
"I'm excited about it as well. Our first Christmas, it's special in it's own way. Might even be more special than future ones."
He looks at her, squinting one eye.
"Something you aren't telling me?"
She looks at him innocently.
"What do you mean?"
"Uh huh."
He grabs the milk out of the fridge.
"Icing on the cinnamon rolls?"
"Uh huh what.. come on say it"
She laughs lightly, as she nods her head.
"Yes please"
"Just seems like you are holding onto some news. You wouldn't have any news, would you?"
He pours her a glass of milk and checks on the cinnamon rolls.
"News... hmm maybe I do"
He looks at her closer.
"Oh? You going to share?"
He reaches into the oven and pulls out the cinnamon rolls as the room smelled yummy.
She smells the room, as she smiles towards him.
"What do I get if I do?"
"These cinnamon rolls sure do smell good..."
He teases.
"They do... but would you really keep them from me?"
He plays coy, shrugging his shoulders. On the parade, they see Olaf from Frozen making his way down the road.
"So hurt...."
She looks down
"Brat. No, I am not going to hold out cinnamon rolls."
He begins to apply the icing to them, and plates a couple of them in front of her with some milk.
She smirks as she looks at him.
"Is that anyway to talk to the mother of your unborn child?"
He almost drops the pan of cinnamon rolls.
"Wait... what?"
"You wanted to know... I was going to say it at your moms...."
His jaw drops.
"Really? Oh my..."
He rounds the counter and wraps his arms around her.
"Baby!!!"
She nods her head yes, as she was smiling.
"Yes really. I just found out yesterday."
"How far along?"
He was excited for the announcement.
"About a month actually. It's good thing I didn't say I would be part of your team"
She smiles, as she could tell he was excited. She was just glad she told him.
"So let's see..."
He tries to figure it out.
"A July baby then?
Serenity nods her head yes.
"Yeah July baby."
He wraps his arms around her.
"I am so excited!"
He begins to cover her with kisses.
Serenity smiles as she was feeling his kisses. She pulls back some, as she looks him in his eyes.
"I am too baby. Just imagine your mom..."
"She is going to go crazy."
He is overwhelmed.
"I know it takes four months to know the sex usually. So three more months. I... I cannot wait."
"I know she will be. I can't wait to see her reaction"
She nods her head, as she looks at him.
"I can't wait, and for now we can try to be patient."
"You definitely cannot be ring side then. And be careful backstage."
He starts to worry.
"Babe I will be fine. Nothing will happen, no worries."
She could tell he was, as she looks him in his eyes, before leaning in kissing him.
He kisses her back.
"People say you need to wait until like 10 or 12 weeks to say anything officially?"
"I think so. To least make sure, least wait another few weeks maybe"
He nods.
"For now. We can enjoy it. As if today and Christmas weren't special enough."
Avery looks at her and smiles.
"I love you. And eat up. You are eating for two now."
"It's even more special"
She smiles as she nods, lightly laughing.
"Yes Sir."
He heads back around the counter working on more breakfast as she eats some cinnamon rolls. The parade continues on with some sort of country singer, but the volume was down low enough to not make out who it was.
Serenity didn't even care, as she was looking at him, watching him. She couldn't help but to imagine how it was going to be once the baby was born.
"I will let you tell mom then. She will be going ga ga over you and the announcement."
His back to her as he pours himsefl some coffee.
"I know she will be. I have a feeling she is going to go into Grandma mode right away."
"Probably. You know they will immediately ask about names... a baby room... the entire thing."
"They will be told to let it sink in, and let us get used to the idea of it first."
He laughs.
"Fair enough, babe. Cinnamon rolls good?"
She had some icing on her lips.
"Yeah they are. The best baby"
She hadn't noticed as she looks at him smiling wide.
He reaches over the counter and wipes her lips, eating the icing.
She laughs as she looks at him smiling.
"Babe you just wanted my icing."
He smirks.
"So you know what you are wearing today? remember. Just be comfy. It's a nice and relaxed day."
"I was thinking jeans, and a normal shirt. You know normal things I wear..."
He nods.
"Good. Cuz you are gonna be stuffed. Mom loves to cook like crazy."
"I can't wait, I think the peanut will enjoy it too"
She laughs lightly.
"Peanut?"
He laughs.
"You finish eating. I am gonna shower and get dressed."
He puts the dishes in the dishwasher and starts it.
"Well what else am I going to call it"
She laughs as she looks at him nodding.
"Alright hurry up."
She goes back to eating as she looks at him.
"Love you baby."
"Love you too baby"
