Kayla laughs to herself. Her long black hair tied up and away from her face, a twisted arrogant smile across her face with her plump lips twisted up.
“Oh here we go, next event, huge match, so many people after us. So many people running their mouths but, can we just rewind a little?. Seriously, just back it the fuck up for a minute here. For weeks all I heard was that I was going to lose my title. I had no chance of leaving Resurgence as the NGW champion. Adrien Cochrane was going to take my title and defeat the darkness. “Ok that last one...no none gives two shits about Johnny Fucking Maverick…”

Kayla chuckles and pulls the NGW world title championship belt over her shoulder, she grips the title strap tight as it dangles down. Her hair flowing over the side of it as she wears a tight fitting black Destroyers shirt.
“Matthew has been a god in the eyes of many, a king for the masses to worship and he did the right thing as a man and stood by his woman. But then look at the rest of the Destroyers. Jack Tillman has travelled around the world winning championships and destroying legends everywhere he goes. He destroyed that idiot Joshua Goldstein at Resurgence, he and Matt pulled double duty and Jack Tillman is now a double champion. He shows that standard of excellence that we ask for in the Destroyers. But it doesn’t stop there. No see we have the NGW championship, the tag titles and the five lakes title...but there is one member of the destroyers that has been representing the name since before we had a name….”
“The Destroyer...Coda.”
“See, Coda isn’t just a great professional wrestler, a destruction machine or a young lions champion. No, Coda is family. Coda is someone I feel a certain kinship with. None of you understand that girl like we do. You all think you do and you try and get in her head but the truth is no one cares for Coda like Matt, Jack, Chris and myself. Kayla moves the title belt forward with a grin.
“When I first signed an NGW talent contract it was “Oh Kayla is just Matts girl” then I started winning matches, I walked into the Rags to Riches match and claimed my shot at the title. Oh no they said, Kayla Richards can’t be THAT good, she’s just going to lose the match. Then I beat Yujiro. I have had nothing but negative naysayers tell me I am not good enough, that I am just a bad copy of my older sister. Yet here I am the NGW champion and while the vultures circle my title and my family, and this company I still stand proud waving the flag of this company. Cause while all the sad little internet trolls sit behind their keyboards and bad mouth me with one hand while jerking off to pictures of me with the other...I still prove I’m the best wrestler in the world today…”
“All the cowards who walked out, all the fairweather friends who refuse to stand by me, the destroyers and the NGW as a whole, you can kiss my perfectly formed ass. I am going to walk into this warfare match and as the cage closes around us I will unleash hell on every single one of you.
